As soon as Kaia, Tony and Dr. Banner left, Draco followed agent Romanoff. Harry left Thor in the capable hands of Agent Coulson and went to meet Maria.
He knows that his presence is intimidating, being Master of Death and all, but it’s not that terrifying. He huffs remembering when the word got out in the Magical London that he had Mastered Death, he was seen as the next Dark Lord. People in general are vastly stupid, who believe in everything the news or some authority figure has to say.
He wholeheartedly agree with Loki’s repeated words that really, people do crave subjugation. But not in some dictatorship way. They want the feeling that they’re free, even if the government monitors every little things about them. They love the idea of being independent when they’re just facing the same vicious cycle of life. And when they are tired, worn-out and just done. They welcome Harry as a liberator.
They fear him all their life and in the end fall in his clutches with a sigh of relief.
“Agent Hill.” He called out to her.
She sighs and turns to him. ‘Not here’ She signs him. ‘Follow me.’
Harry sheepishly follows her. Knowing he had forgotten their secrets.
She takes him down on the lower levels of the Helicarrier. Where he assumes all the weapons are kept. She signs him to put the privacy spells around them, so that they would not be discovered.
Harry does so. And gestures her to speak.
She takes a breath and starts, “So, I don’t know everything. My level clearance is not as high as Barton’s was. But I do know why Fury wanted to tap into tessarect power. He does not know what it is. He has all of the HYDRA files….”
Harry raises his eyes, before she could continue.
“Fury knows what HYDRA did with tessarect?” Harry asks in disbelief.
“Well, yes. Come on I’ll show you.” Maria gestures for him to follow her.
“Kaia knows how the cube can be used scientifically, they gave him the means to meet his ends. But I do not think She knows what the ends are.” Maria tells him. “We do not meet as much as we can, but I have given her some hints about what it could be.” She continues.
They reach the Weapons room 10-C and When Harry looks around, He is simultaneously surprised and not surprised at all.
He releases a tired breath.
He knows the earth needs protection with it being the Prime planet for emerging life and developing nature but this is not the way.
He can also understand from the Humans point of view, How desperate times calls for desperate measures. But truly, this power cannot be trusted in the hands of a human.
Humans slaughter each other mercilessly to gain an advantage over the other, the greed for power leaves poor people poorer and helpless. This is an endless loop which they cannot escape.
There is a destruction in future of Earth and even He cannot prevent the inevitable.
