James was at it again. Flirting shamelessly with Lily and Reg. In front of all their friends. Sirius was somewhere in between disgusted and excited for James.
North thinks the three are cute but still likes making jokes at James’ expense. This is one of the favorites.

They were all strewn across the floor of the Room of Requirement. North was laying across Barty and Evan, her head on Maia’s lap while Evan and Barty held hands. The Marauders were sitting across from them, with James and Sirius sitting together, Remus on the other side of Sirius, and Peter next to Remus. Lily was sitting on James’ other side with Regulus laying on her lap. Mary was sitting next to Lily. Dorcas, Marlene, and Pandora were in the library.
Even from where North was she could hear James going on and on with the pickup lines. It was extremely cheesy. Reg looked as though they were about to combust, they were so red. North smiled at her twin and they tried to smile back but it was more of a pained grimace. She laughed.
She spoke up from her place across her two friends and girlfriend, “Hey James!”
He didn’t answer, he was too engrossed in his partners. Reg snickered. North flipped them off.
“James!” She yelled again. By now she had everyone’s attention, including James. “It must be hard with your sense of direction, never being able to find your way to a decent pickup line.”
James looked as though North had just slapped him. “How dare you-”
Then he realized that pretty much everyone (including Sirius) was laughing at the joke. He got pouty which made the Slytherins + North laugh even harder.
Lily stopped long enough to console James and then started laughing again. Reg just kept giggling.
Barty and Evan gave North a high five. Regulus flipped her off again. Lily just shook her head and kept giggling.
But no matter what could be said, James was back to the cheesy pickup lines about 20 minutes later. North rolled her eyes and went back to listening to whatever the loudest person was saying. Which was normally Sirius or James.
