Chapter 3
Remus walks Harry and I to a guest room at the end of a long hallway.
“I’d offer you more rooms if we had them but we only have one.”
“It’s okay,” Harry says softly, still recovering for the shock.
It's not the first time we’ve had to share a bed.
When I signed up to be a field healer I didn’t expect to be put with Harry Potter, but I guess they needed someone to keep an eye on the deatheater.
The first few weeks on the field with him we argued just as hard as we used to in school. The first time we had to share a sleeping bag we argued until we both ended up facing opposite directions. But soon what used to be malicious fighting turned into playful teasing and eventually the odd friendship we have now.
Harry transfigures his pants to shorts and sheds his shirt onto the ground throwing his glasses carelessly besides it. Leaving his defined dark abs on full view. Seriously, how is he so fit?
“Want me to do you?” He offers.
I nod and I feel the odd sensation of my clothes changing against my skin, I ditch my shirt and crawl in. Harry follows not long after and wiggles under the duvet. Harry throws heat like a furnace which is typically annoying because standing next to him at any given point is like hugging a space heater, but now it's almost nice, melting away the chill of the day.
He drops off into the realm of sleep first leaving me to stare at him like a freak. Harry's face is always painfully easy to read, emotions playing across it like a movie but when he's asleep, all that's left is a content smile. I sigh and consider sleeping when he pulls me into him.
This isn’t abnormal for Harry, he's touchy when he's awake and he's touchy when he's asleep. Being friends with him just means I have to forget the concept of personal space. What is expected but still gross is his sweaty chest sticking to mine. He clutches me even tighter to him and I slowly drift off alongside him.

When I wake up it's to a horrified Sirius staring at the position Harry had moved us into in his sleep. His legs are wrapped around mine in a way that makes it a little tricky to move and his arms are pressing me into his chest. I raised an eyebrow.
“You were all but fucking professor Lupin on the counter don’t even start on Harrys habit to cling to anyone whos within two feet of him,” I smirk, “Or should I say you were all but getting fucked.”
Sirius flushes bright red, “Yeah but that's in my own house.”
I consider wiggling out of Harry's arms but the second I shift my body his grasps tighten making me squeak.
“ Just needed to tell you breakfast is ready,” Sirius says.
Harry starts to wake up and instinctively throws up a shield charm around us both. I roll my eyes and flick him in the ear.
“Move your ass,”
“I can’t see shit,” He grumbles, reaching for glasses on his face.
“That's because you left your glasses on the ground.”
He shushes me and unwraps from around me and starts feeling around on the ground for his glasses. When he finally finds them he casts a tempus.
He groans and tries to send a patronus to Hermione. The first couple of attempts fail, making him panic until it reaches her.
“Mornin’ Mione’,”Harry mumbles, “Guess who I found?”
“Hey Harry,” Ron shouts.
“Hey Ron.” Harry says.
“Who did you find?” Hermione asks.
“SIrius, Remus, and Regulus,” Harry says, starting to finally wake up.
“Who,” She asks.
Harry repeats himself and than sits through Hermione's lecture. The last thing she says before storming off is, “Watch them,”.
Ron laughs, “Terrifying isn’t she?”
“Where is she going?" I ask.
“The library,” Harry and Ron say in sync.
“We’re going to be here for a while," Harry adds.
We sit there talking to Ron for an hour and a half before Hermione rushes back in.
“I found an enchantment we might be able to do on phones so we don’t have to deal with this whole hassle everytime we need to talk.” We hear a book thud on the table and Hermione reads a whole mess of information that I can tell goes in one ear and out the other for Harry.
I ask a couple of questions about the enchantment which Hermionie answers eagerly. The enchantment shouldn’t be too hard. More it's the prep work that's difficult and time consuming. To prepare the phone to the constant exposure of the enchantment and magic in general we have to, to put it simply, we have to get the phone used to the magic. Exposing it often to even simple charms like Lumos. The type of magic itself doesn’t really matter. As long as it gets exposed to it, we should start with smaller charms and work our way up to the enchantment itself.
Once we’re done discussing, Harry sighs, “Well, let's go buy a phone.”
