Letters of the first year
When Ginny woke up the next late morning and went to her breakfast completely lonely she did not expect to find Hedwig waiting on the desk nibbling at some bacon.
She got all motivated when she saw the beautiful owl on the desk. She run over and took the letter that had her name on it.
"She came here just a few minutes ago" said her mother.
She ripped it open and began reading the letter excitedly
Dear Ginny
Ron and I were sorted into gryffindor, we also made friends with a boy named Neville Longbottom and a muggleborn girl named Hermione Granger as they were looking for Neville's toad, Percy summoned it for him.
After we mer them and they searched for Trevor the toad, a boy came in named Malfoy and behind were 2 goons, they tried to get me to abandon everything so they could show me the proper way or something like that, I refused and then came Percy, they run as they saw the batch.
Soon after this we arrived at Hogwarts and Hagrid came to get us and lead us to the castle by boat, we all sat together, the castle looked breathtaking and magical.
Inside the entrance hall we were lead by deputy headmistress McGonagall and it's there we get sorted into the houses, I will not tell how, so you find out next year.

Ginny was happy as she read the letter, other than that pompous arse Malfoy and a bit miffed that Harry didn't tell her how the houses are chosen but she was happy for him.
"Mom, Harry and Ron are in gryffindor they also met a muggleborn named Hermione Granger and a boy named Neville Longbogtom, they are also in gryffindor" said Ginny beginning to eat her breakfast her mother had kept warm.
"That's good to hear hopefully they have a good year" said Mrs Weasley
"Percy had them under control, he even summoned Nevile's lost toad and helped Harry and Ron against someone named Malfoy, who said that he could show him the proper way and abandon us"
Her mother had a scowl on her face as she said that.
"Thankfully Percy was there, such pureblood nonsense, let's hope nothing more will happen"
"Then he said that Hagrid took them over the lake towards Hogwarts and then entered the entrance hall with professor McGonagall, wonder how many letters you are going to receive this year?"
"I dearly hope not, but you know the twins"
After eating breakfast Ginny took Hedwig up her room and began writing a letter to Harry.
Dear Harry
It's fantastic that you, Ron, Hermione and Nevile went to gryffindor hopefully you are still friends with them next year I would like to meet them.
Don't let that Malfoy boy bully you and remember the spell I showed you and use it if he becames a huge git. It was also nice of Percy to help you with him.
Have fun in classes and pay attention you know Mums temper.

P.S. Write if there are interesting things or once a week to not kill Hedwig from exhaustion.
"Come here girl" said Ginny to Hedwig
She attached the letter to Hedwig and the beautiful snowy owl made her way back to Hogwarts, were Harry got the letter at dinner and did as told.
A few days later Harry began a letter for Ginny.
Dear Ginny
You won't believe what happened today, today we had our first flying lesson and Malfoy was messing with Nevile's remembrall after he fell of his broom and was sent to the infirmary. He sprained his wrist but is alright now.
Malfoy flew up in the sky and I followed him, he then threw it away and I dived after it catching it before it shattered on the floor.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) Professor McGonagall, the transfiguration teacher saw me and we went to a class were she asked for Wood.
He is the quidditch captain of gryffindor and McGonagall made me the seeker, you are best friends with the youngest seeker in a century. She also gave me a nimbus 2000. Can you believe it the fastest broom on the market right now and I have it.
Malfoy also challenged me to a duel but he never showed up and we found a three headed dog in the corridor we should not enter. Hermione says it's guarding something.

Ginny read the letter in a bad mood onyl that Harry was on the quidditch team and the new broom had lifted her mood but that was destroyed instantly by the three headed dog.

Next year if Malfoy still bothers you I'm going to hex him so hard that he will be a week in the hospital wing. Speak with Percy too
It's supper cool that you are on the quidditch team, Fred and George have been telling us about Oliver wood being their keeper. Let's see how he is as a captain, Charlie and the twins said he lives and breathes quidditch
And why is there a three headed dog at a school, just make sure you four don't go back to it.

With that they began writing letters each week on Saturday or Sunday or something very important.
Dear Ginny
Today a troll entered the school, profesor Quirrel ran in said it was there and colapsed on the floor.
We were said to go back to the common rooms but someone had insulted Hermione and she run of to the bathroom.
We wanted to warn her but the troll was already there, I jumped on the troll and stuck my wand up his nose and Ron levitated his club over his head and dropped it on him making him go K.O.

Ginny made a howler and set it to Harry with Hedwig saying when he was alone.
The day after Halloween Harry was alone not wanting to hear Hermione and Ron's bickering, he looked up and saw Hedwig coming down.
She had a red letter attached to her leg, she stuck it our and he untied it and opened only to drop it instantly.
"HARRY JAMES BLOODY POTTER WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU JUMPED ON THE TROLL. THEY ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, WHEN YOU COME BACK OVER CHRISTMAS WE'LL BE HAVING TALK ALRIGHT? screamed Ginny's VOICE" Please don't do anything more dangerous Harry I don't want you to get hurt "
Harry shivered in fear, he then wrote a letter apologizing profusely to her.
The next letter was after he had won the first his first quidditch game.
Dear Ginny
Today I played my first Quidditch game we won it was exiting to be playing there but the slitherin players played dirty in some parts, but I caught or better said swallowed the snitch. We had a big party in the common room, it was fantastic.
But there was something conserning, someone was hexing my broom Ron, Hermione and Nevile think it was Snape, but we are not sure, Hagrid told us that he wouldn't do that, when it was happening Hermione went to the teachers seating place and set his robes on fire, after this it stopped.

Ginny was happy when she read the letter but that was blown away by the broom incident. And went to tell her parents immediately. She rushed down the stairs and jumped the last few steps making her parents look up
"Mum, Dad, someone was cursing Harry's broom while they were playing, they won but still it was dangerous" she said as she landed
"What do you mean with cursing my dear?" asked Molly
"I don't know but Harry said there was someone cursing his broom"
"I'll write immediately a letter to Dumbledore, can we use Hedwig for this?" asked Arthur
"Of course, I'll be writing my letter back to him" said Ginny going back to her room
Dear Harry
It's good that you won hopefully this continues next year so we could celebrate together, and maybe play together if I get on the team.
Please be careful Harry you are my best friend and I don't want to lose you. I told Mum and Dad they sent a letter to Dumbledore, I hope it helps and clears things up.

When Christmas came around, unable to meet because of the trip Ginny and her parents made to Romania, they sent each other presents, for Harry the first time he had ever done it and he enjoyed it dearly.
She had send him a bracelet made from her fiery red hair and he had send her a quaffle and another present he had hid in the burrow for when they return was a beautiful necklace with a broom charm. He also got a weasley sweater with and H on it.
In that letter he told her he had gotten an invisibility cloak and went to search in the library on the forbidden section about Nicholas Flamel that he heard from Hagrid, from where he got the name that the three headed dog was named Fluffy which sent Ginny in a laughing fit.
He also told her that when he was fleeing gone the library he entered a room with a mirror in which he saw himself his parents and other family members. But when he stood there the next day he saw himself and his family but this time with Ginny in there. On the last time he was there he met Dumbledore who told him that he saw himself with a pair of wolly socks and told him to not return here, because people had gone mad looking at it.
As the months went on he wrote to her about the five minute quidditch game they had were he caught the snitch in only five minutes ,under the urge from Oliver to end the game as fast as possible, because Snape was reffing the game, gryffindor had won in one of the fastest games ever.
She told him about the letter Dumbledore had written recently, about the cursing of the broom in his first game, he told them that it wasn't Snape, that what Hermione, Ron and Nevile saw, was Snape's attempt to have Harry remain on the broom, the culprit of the cursing was unknown but it was under investigation.
But Harry talked to her about the conversation he heard between Quirrel and Snape, after the game that it had to be Snape. With his theory that Snape works for Voldemort and wants the stone for him.
Dear Ginny
Thanks for telling me what dunbledore said to your parents but I don't know, it's seems that it is Snape, after the game with huffelpuff, Snape cornered Quirrel and tried to intimidate him.
Also Hagrid has gotten a dragon egg from someone he won against at the pub, he had it in his WOODEN hut and let it hatch there, he called it Norbert, Ron got bitten by him and was in the infirmary, we wrote to Charlie if he could take it, he said that some friends would come.
After we gave them the egg, Hermione, Neville and Me where caught by McGonagall, also Draco got caught we have detention with Hagrid tonight and we lost 150 points, no one really likes us right now. Don't tell your parents.

The next day as Hedwig returned he immediately sent her back with another short letter without reading hers, because of wahr happened in the forest, with the meeting of a creature probably voldemort and the centaur who saved him from
When a few weeks letter from McGonagall arrived at the burrow, that Harry was unconscious because he had faced Voldemort to safeguard the philosopher stone, she burst into tears.
Molly and Arthur after hearing this news set directly to Hogwarts along with Ginny to visit Harry. Arthur aparated Ginny to the front gates followed moments after by Molly. As they looked at the gates they saw Hagrid already opening them.
"Hello there, you three, Harry's fine under the circumstances" he said has he pushed them open, and the three visitors entered.
"Thanks Hagrid, he's in the infirmary right?" asked Arthur
"Yes, he is, I'll take you there" said Hagrid reaching for the crying Ginny "Can I?
"Yes" said Arthur and Hagrid put Ginny on his shoulder and run off towards the infirmary, the two following behind.
Once Molly and Arthur reached the infirmary they saw Dumbledore and Hagrid with Ginny sitting on top waiting before the doors.
"Good morning Molly and Arthur, I'm very sorry to tell you this but Harry fought Voldemort, he took possession of our professor Quirrel, well he gave it willingly to help him regain a mortal shell again but he stopped it along with Neville, Hermione and Ron, they are all alright some scraps but nothing major" said Dumbledore
"Ohhh thank goodness" whispered Molly
"Harry is still unconscious and will be for a few days"
"How did he survive?"
"With the love of a mother, when Lily died she sacrificed herself for him and forming a bond, which saved him"
Molly's eyes shone with tears after hearing this "Now I'll let you enter"
They entered and saw Harry laying on the bed under the covers, they went over, Ginny jumped down from Hagrid and rushed towards him and jumped on the bed.
But before she landed on him, she was levitating stopping her momentum before being laid softly on him and hugging before bursting into tears again, followed by her mother and father.
The three following days they spent there, other than Arthur who sadly had to go to work but was over the rest of the time, the rest of the weasley, present at hogwarts visited daily, along with Hermione and Neville.
On the third day Harry stirred and saw that he was in the hospital wing looking up at the ceiling, when he sat up he saw someone laying on his bed with fiery red hair and smiled, before seeing Molly and Dumbledore at the edge of the bed.
"Good morning Harry" said Dumbledore kindly
"Hello sir, hello Molly" said Harry "What happened?"
"I'll tell you when she is awake, Molly let's give them some space" said Dumbledore walking out slowly
After they had left Harry went to wake up Ginny, by lightly tapping on her shoulder and saying that she should wake up. And it had the desired effect she woke up.
"Good morning sunshine" said Harry slightly teasingly
"Ehh Harry?" she said before launching herself at him and hugging him "You should be saying that, 3 days, you have been unconscious for 3 days"
"That long?"
"Yes, that long and..." she began straightening herself "Harry James Potter what have I told you about getting yourself in danger?" she gave him a deathly glare
"Ah eh em" he stuttered
"Shhh, this was even more dangerous than the troll thing and I told you I was going to give you a stern talking, You feces you know who, everything could have happened to you, but you just rushed in without thinking and you didn't even write a letter"
"I did"
"Ohh really, because I never got one, anyway, don't do something like that ever again, it's stupid and you can get yourself killed, don't let your mother's love be in vain" she said before hugging him tightly
"What do you mean my mother's love?"
"You survived now and before because of it, your mother sacrificed herself for you and protected you and it's still there" He hugged her back tears forming in this eyes
"I'll try but I could voldemort get it, he would have been back at his full power and I couldn't" he said softly
"Alright but please think about it and sent me a letter at least"
"That be difficult if we are in the same school" he said with a smirk
She shoved him slightly
"You know what I mean" continuing to hug him
