The Warning
As the battle ended, the heroes were finally able to rest in relief for the time being. The red lanterns and the green lanterns except Earth lanterns had already left. Many interactions took place, while Raiden, now separated from Liu Kang, askeed Kotal how the Kahn was able to join them.
“How were you able to join us, Kotal Kahn?”, Raiden asked the noble Kahn.
“We used the orb to temporary merge our realm with the Netherrealm. I’d like to discuss what we should do with it”, Kotal demanded.
“So you used the realm merging orb. You need to destroy it to undo the realm merger between Outworld and Edenia. I will aid in its destruction”, Raiden replied.
“Thank you for helping us atone for Shao Kahn’s past. I seek to free all Outworld from his influence, even Centaurs and Naknadans”, Kotal replied.
“Do not give up, and keep fighting. That’s the only demand I have for you”, Raiden advised.
“As you wish”, the Kahn nodded as he went to his allies. Meanwhile, the Shokan Elites and Okoye, M’Baku joined each other.
“It was an honor to fight by your side. Earthrealm is blessed by so many warriors”, Sheeva said.
“I could say the same about your people. I am Okoye, General of Dora Mirage of Wakanda”, Okoye replied.
“I am Queen Sheeva of the Shokans. My people are all warriors who take pleasure in great battles”, Sheeva introduced herself.
“And I, Goro, am the champion of the Shokans”, Goro added.
“I also like great fights. I am M’Baku of the Jabari Tribe”, M’Baku said as he showed off his love for battle.
“So I take that your people are born to be warriors. I hope we could fight together in future battles”, Okoye said.
“Absolutely. We could also brush up our skills if we train each other for kombat to fight a greater threat, which could emerge from outside or inside us”, Kintaro suggested.
“Then we must take care of the problems we still have”, Okoye spoke.
“Indeed. We still have Shang Tsung, a vile sorcerer, on loose. When we deal with him, we may be able to contact each other again”, Sheeva explained. Then the Shokans looked at Kotal who used the orb to temporary open a portal back to Outworld.
“Farewell, Earthrealmers. We all wish you best of luck in future kombat”, Goro said as he led the two Shokans to Kotal. The next moment, the Outworlders left back to their home.
Shuri was bewildered when she met the Autobot Wheeljack, and Perceptor. The Autobots had a impressive technology, and she wanted to study them.
“Hi! I’m Shuri, princess of Wakanda! You all have amazing techs? Can I take a look?”, Shuri asked.
“Sure why not? We can even merge our ideas and create something even better”, Wheeljack suggested.
“Just Don’t blow up your lab, Wheeljack. This woman Shuri is not as tough as us”, Perceptor said with a calm voice, making Shuri pout.
“Hey! I’m a girl but I’m trained by Okoye! I can take some hits!”, Shuri said, but Jetfire intervened.
“You wouldn’t wanna get your beautiful face hurt by your experiment blown up, right?”, Jetfire told Shuri, who nodded in understatement.
“Yeah. But with my tech, I’m sure the percentage of your projects being blown up would be reduced near 0!”, Shuri boasted, making the Autobot scientists smile at the princess.
Sif was delighted when she was finally able to meet Wonder Woman. Sif had already heard Diana was worthy of Thor’s Mjolnir, and she was curious about Diana.
“So you are Diana of Themyscira. Thor told me about you. I am Lady Sif of Asgard”, Sif introduced herself.
“I am, and it’s an honor to meet you, Lady Sif”, Diana replied.
“Can you invite me to your island? I am curious about the Amazons, and I think our people can become great allies”, Sif asked.
“You are welcome to visit us any day, sister”, Diana replied, as they shook hands. Diana then looked at broken Bruce Wayne, and said.
“I need to go. Batman is broken again...”, Sif could feel the grief from Diana.
“Give him all the rest and comfort he deserves”, Sif said. Diana nodded and went to see her beloved, to ease her pain of losing Bruce Wayne.
From a distance, Kitana, Jade, and Sindel, accompanied by Rain and Skarlet were talking. Kitana had been affected by the redemption of Galatea, as the other Kara Zor-El managed to free herself from the manipulations of Quan Chi.
“Jade, mother... I now think I had been wrong about Mileena”, Kitana said.
“What do you mean, Kitana?”, Jade asked, as she was still hard on Mileena who was a defiled klone of her friend.
“I will always listen to you and help you”, Sindel added.
“I thought Mileena was a monster when I learned that she was created to spite me... but now... Galatea, the one who showed delight in killing us all, had redeemed herself... Maybe, if I had actually gave Mileena a chance to be my sister, she could had been one of us now”, Kitana sighed.
“She is still with Shang Tsung even after Shao Kahn perished. She is still an evil klone”, Jade told Kitana, but Sindel stepped in.
“I know you are hard on Mileena because she was Kitana’s klone created to replace Kitana, Jade. I was angry when I learned that too, but Kitana is right. Mileena only knew those like Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung, just like you, my daughters. If Kitana wants to try saving Mileena, I will aid her by any means”, Sindel declared. Jade could finally see reason, as she nodded.
“I understand, Kitana, my queen. I won’t be hard on Mileena again, and will do my best to aid your effort to save her from darkness”, Jade said.
“I was able to come to light because I understood Rain actually cared. Mileena can do the same if we give her the best care, and make sure not to treat her as a half breed”, Skarlet added.
“It would be also an absolutely magnificent way to get revenge on Shao Kahn for making Edenia suffer, by bringing all his daughters to the light he had despised very much”, Rain said with a smirk in his mask. The time for goodbye had come once again as Sindel’s group went to Kotal and left with them, as Kitana and Jade were now residents of Earthrealm.
Meanwhile, the Titans were having a free time to interact with various heroes. Nightwing and the Batfamily rested near the broken Batman, Batwoman, and Huntress, who were now being healed by Constantine as a orange magic circle were formed beneath their lying bodies. Wonder Woman rested near them, next to her broken beloved.
“Bruce... I’m sorry. I failed you again...”, Diana murmured as she lowered her head in shame.
“Diana, I am at least not dead this time”, Batman replied softly.
“Dad... I had difficulty controlling my anger ever since you were gone... Can you teach me how to control myself again?”, Dick asked his father.
“I would be glad to”, Batman answered. Dick decided he needed to inform his father a news about Bruce’s new son.
“Bruce... after you died, Talia brought me a son between her and you. His name is Damian Wayne. I want to take him in so I can defend him”, Dick said.
“We need to see if he can be trusted, Dick”, Batman replied as he felt his back slowly heal thanks to Constantine.
“Yeah. He’s still the grandson of Ra’s, after all”, Red Hood added. Batman then recalled Jim Gordon was now dead. Bruce needed to know how Jim died.
“I remember being told Jim had died. How did it happen?”, Batman asked. This stung Barbara Gordon, but she knew she had to tell him everything.
“Batman... the Court of Owls, what we had thought to be a myth, killed my dad... It’s okay, I still got you back. We all did”, Barbara sighed, not being able to hide her grief.
“I’m sorry, Barbara. If I had been strong enough to survive that day, maybe Jim would had been still alive”, Batman replied.
Somewhere else, Stargirl approached Captain America with the Avengers. Courtney had felt a similarity between her and the Avengers hero as their costumes were quite alike.
“Hey kid! Your costume resembles Cap’s a lot. Who are you? I’m James Rhodes. Call me Rhodey”, War Machine asked.
“I’m Stargirl, Courtney Whitmore. And I get that our costumes almost look the same”, Stargirl commented.
“You sure do have a good taste! Spangled Stars are the best! I’m Sam Wilson, aka Falcon”, Falcon replied. Then Captain A,erica approached the three of them.
“I’m glad to hear you like them”, Steve Rogers replied.
“Wow, don’t you guys have any sort of secret identities like my teammates have?”, Stargirl asked.
“Perhaps I’m the only one. I’m Spider-Man”, Spider-Man approached Stargirl and explained.
“We don’t really need secret identities that much, except for Spidey. He needs to hide his identity so villains can’t get to his loved ones, his family and friends”, Iron Man added.
“It’s really cool meeting you guys”, Stargirl smiled as she kept talking with them.
A formal discussion took place somewhere else, between Aquaman, Black Panther, and Black Bolt.
“So we are all sort of a royal family. I am Aquaman, king of the seven seas”, Aquaman said.
“I am Black Panther, King of Wakanda”, Black Panther introduced himself.
“And this is Black Bolt, king of the inhumans on the moon. He cannot speak because his whisper could destroy this entire place. I am Medusa, his wife”, Medusa said, to convey the word of her husband.
“It was glorious fighting with you and your people. Our kingdoms should sign a treaty to be allies”, Aquaman suggested.
“I couldn’t agree more”, T’Challa replied. Black Bolt simply nodded, and the three kings soon shook hands with each other.
Meanwhile, the wizards and witches were gathered as Harry suddenly glared at his father and stepfather, who was in total surprise.
“Who do you think has killed Voldemort this time, Dad, Sirius?”, Harry asked. James Potter and Sirius Black were completely dumbfounded, while Remus knew exactly what was about to happen. However, Harry wasn’t going to spare Remus as well.
“You too, Professor Lupin”, Harry glared at Remus as well, the three of them dumbfounded.
“The Justice League?”, James Potter answered, but Harry just shook his head.
“They let us have the kill. And I allowed professor Snape the privilege”, Harry replied. Snape looked at this with a smirk.
“Why?”, Sirius asked.
“Because he deserves to be a hero too, and you humiliated him in front of everyone, which caused him to sink into darkness for a while. Gryffindors are not supposed to be bullies!”, Harry said with contempt.
“Okay! We all apologize to him, then it’s done!”, James pleaded, but Harry shrugged it off. Without Mercy, Harry used Levicorpus on the three of them. Then Harry pulled their undergarments off, making everyone burst into laughter.
“And you, Professor Snape. Please consider your rivalry with them as finished now that I did this!”, Harry said as he walked away, after undoing the Levicorpus charm on the three Marauders, who looked at Snape with awkward expression.
“Well... is it supposed to be over between us? I don’t want Harry to be mad at me”, Sirius pleaded. Snape was already satisfied as the three marauders suffered the same embarrassment he felt by their hand.
“It is done”, Snape smirked triumphantly. Harry went to his friends, and declared.
“Guys. We have lots of work to do. We start by renovating our school, at least giving it a WIFI. We also have to install technologies our world ignored for too long. Now that the death eaters are all vanquished, we have all the time and peace we need”, everyone nodded at this. Ron was curious how Harry was going to do the job.
“But how are you going to do it, mate? Our world is still kinda old-fashioned. There are still blood supremacists who didn’t become death eaters”, Ron asked.
“We prove the end of blood supremancy by having your dad and Lucius work together to build a company to install technologies in our world. A Weasley and A Malfoy working together to better our world would mark a new age for wizardkind”, Harry answered.
“You sound like a Slytherin student, but in a good way”, Ron commented.
“We also need to work on our school to fix the tension between the dorms, especially us Gryffindors and Slytherins. And we’ll do it together”, Hermione declared.
In a different location, Green Guardian was talking with his new friends, until Raiden and Fujin called him.
“We need to inform you about what Shinnok did to your race. We were able to see what his magic had for your people”, Fujin said.
“What is it? Shinnok almost melted me in the battle. Is that all?”, the blonde lantern asked.
“It is not the only curse Shinnok had for your race. Shinnok has also cursed your titan shifters to have a lifespan limited to thirteen years to cause even more misery and death, but now, the curse is gone as Shinnok is finally dead”, Raiden informed.
“So, the lifespan curse is no more? Thank god”, Green Guardian sighed in relief knowing his titan shifter friends were no longer cursed by the mad god.
“However, even with Shinnok gone, death and misery can still exist. As good and evil both exist at the same time. Your mission is to inspire the good of your people with your guidance, with hope and compassion”, Raiden told the lantern.
“We are both certain you can do it. You had proven your worth by lifting Mjolnir. Defend your realm, from both external and internal threats”, Fujin assured the lantern, who immediately nodded.
“I’ll make sure to fulfill my responsibility, and I will never give up in protecting all innocent lives, in all realms”, Green Guardian declared with determination. The two gods smiled with approval and left the blonde lantern, who went to see his soldier comrades, with his Kara. Naturally, the two insurgents embraced each other, until they were interrupted by the other Barry.
“Kara, were you okay?”, the other Barry asked.
“I... don’t deserve your kindness anymore, Barry... When I arrived at this universe, I was at the mercy of an evil sorcerer. He promised me revenge against Kal and Diana... and I became his puppet. I even killed Batman of this world and many guards on Strykers! I’m sorry! I’m a failure, a monster who is no better than my cousin!”, Kara cried in shame, but the other Barry, now a pure light, comforted Kara by holding her.
“You being here says otherwise, Kara. Unlike Clark, you managed to break out from the darkness and come back to light again. I made the mistake when I let Billy die by Clark’s hand... We are not that different”, the other Barry said, until he recognized a new lantern whom he had never knew, next to Kara.
“Who are you?”, the other Barry asked.
“My name is Armin... and I know you, Barry. I’m the one who succeeded you Hal Jordan... and I have his memory somehow. I’m sorry I couldn’t save your friend from dying... but I don’t know who I should view him as... I saw him stopping you from saving Billy from your Superman... and him killing his own corps, Guy Gardner... Should I view him as a hero who made me the hero I am now, or a monster who committed these despicable acts?! I don’t know anymore...”, Armin answered, his voice almost wailing from the grief for the heroes who lost their lives in the other universe
“Yeah, I know Hal committed many horrendous acts when he was an yellow lantern, and redeemed himself when it was too late, like me who failed Billy as much as Hal did. You didn’t do any of that. You are your own hero, and who my Hal is has nothing to do with you. I would only want you to be better than us, who failed ourselves”, Barry said as he begun to banish.
“Barry! NO! Don’t leave me!”, Kara wailed again, now about to witness another death of her friend.
“Kara... I wasn’t really alive to begin with. I’m now part of a speed force, and just a mere consciousness. I can only hope you can rebuild your life. Goodbye, Kara, Armin”, Barry said softly as he banished. Kara collapsed on the ground, now sobbing. The two returned comforting each other in their arms, until they were interrupted again. The two saw the soldiers near them, smiling at them. They heard one of them making demands to Levi.
“Captain Levi? Can we take her back to our home? They look so happy together”, Sasha asked.
“If she is eager, we will”, Levi replied with a stern face, but Kara could see they were all eager to take her in. However, Kara felt she no longer deserved to have a home, now that she had become a villain once.
“Your people... I met them in our war against Shinnok... They were so kind, even though I served Quan Chi who tried to destroy your world... I deserve to be in jail! There is no way I can make up for what I’ve done!”, Kara yelled, but Armin held her, also crying.
“Kara... I’m just glad you came back. I didn’t want us to end up like you and your cousin... I’m glad I was able to save you”, the duo held each other tight, in tears, until Mikasa approached them.
“If Armin loves you, it makes me your family too, and we would be glad to take you in and give you a new home. I’m Mikasa Ackerman”, the violet lantern patted Kara on the shoulder. Kara immediately noticed the violet lantern and asked.
“Is she... Carol’s successor?”, Kara asked.
“Yeah. We were informed of everything. I’m Eren Yeager, and I’m glad you two are happy together. You deserve it”, Eren said as he joined their embrace. Then, a clicking tongue was heard.
“That lucky bastard”, Oluo complained as he bit his tongue.
“If he hadn’t been this lucky bastard, our world would had died at least twice”, Petra retorted as he glared at her colleague, but not denying the part ‘lucky bastard’. Armin turned to everyone and informed.
“Guys, I and Kara will be staying on Earth for a month. I have new friends and allies to make, as well as learning about this planet. You already know how to call me when you are threatened, like we did this time”, they all nodded, except Eren.
“Wait. Shouldn’t at least Kara come with us now? We have lots of things to teach her”, Eren asked.
“We have to warn everyone on Earth about the regime. That is why we are staying on Earth. Also, I’m giving you and Mikasa some time without me”, Armin said with a smirk.
“Eren, they deserve their own time together, after everything they’ve been through because of the regime. Now, let’s go home”, Mikasa told her love interest and opened a violet portal to their world. Everyone except Armin and Kara walked into the portal, leaving the Avengers Compound.
“Now we only have to warn everyone about your Kal and Diana”, Armin told Kara, who just nodded.

From a distance, Shinji Ikari approached Superman, as the teen had a favor to ask for the Kryptonian.
“Superman, can you please take a look?”, the third child asked.
“What is this SEELE shown here?”, Superman asked.
“SEELE is a group of wealthy bastards who take themselves for gods. They joined Shinnok so they could kill us all and merge everyone into one being, which would make them gods”, Asuka joined the two, fuming.
“Superman, I need to ask you a favor. WILLE is going to expose them and have them captured. Can you please send them to the Phantom Zone? If they want to be eternal, they’ll get it, in the worst way possible. The same should also go to Kano”, the third child demanded.
“No problem”, Superman replied, to the joy of the EVA pilots.
“Thanks, Superman! You are a real hero!”, the teens said as they walked away. Captain America then walked toward Superman.
“Clark, I’m glad you joined me in forming this alliance. We became a greater force of good. I can’t wait to discover even more heroes to fight with us”, Captain America said.
“Me too, Steve. By the way, we would need a name for this assembly”, Superman suggested. Then Iron Man came to them.
“Well, the name of the initiative was simply named the Ultimate Alliance, but I think the name’s boring. Since we are mostly Avengers and Justice League combined, and bigger than a league, how about Justice Avenger Legion?”, Tony suggested.
“That’s great, Tony”, Steve commented.
“Totally better”, Superman added. Then, Superman and Captain America turned to everyone, and declared.
“We are grateful you had fought with us, regardless of our differences. We have decided the name of this alliance, to be Justice Avenger Legion!”, Superman declared. Wonder Woman stood next to Superman, carrying Batman on her back.
“You are free to call for our help when you cannot deal with your problem alone. Helping each other is why we formed this Legion”, Captain America added, accompanied by Iron Man and Thor. This finally allowed the warning to take place, as Green Guardian and Power Girl came toward the two, followed by Wonder Girl.
“Excuse us, Superman. May we give you a warning even though we now achieved some peace?”, Green Guardian demanded. Kara and Cassie froze at the sight of Superman and Wonder Woman, as they still remembered them as monsters who killed everyone they loved.
“Kara, Cassie. They are not your Kal nor your Diana”, Green Guardian assured his friends, who snapped out of it. Superman and Wonder Woman became curious about what this meant. Then they remembered the blonde lantern was among the ones to lift Mjolnir.
“What do you mean by ‘Your Kal’ and ‘Your Diana’?”, Superman asked.
“That is what we exactly need to warn you all about”, Green Guardian resumed in a louder voice, which caught everyone’s attention.
“My name is Cassandra Sandsmark... I am from an alternate universe... now ruled by tyrants. I and Kara were the only survivors who made it here”, Wonder Girl explained. The other heroes went from relief to horror.
“Who are the tyrants exactly?”, Iron Man asked.
“The tyrants are Superman and Wonder Woman of their universe, which we seek to warn you about”, Green Guardian answered. Lois and Aquaman went pale, as they could never believe in Kara’s story when she was still Galatea.
“It... cannot be! It has to be impostors or clones of them! Clark and Diana can never go evil! They are the best of us!”, Lois screamed, but Thor knew it was a fact.
“Lois Lane, he was among the ones to lift Mjolnir. There is no way someone who is worthy of Mjolnir can spew such vile lies”, Thor said, making Lois freeze in dread.
“So her words were true! The world of Superman and Wonder Woman as the evil dictator couple DID exist!”, Aquaman gasped in horror.
“Yeah, we saw Wonder Girl’s pensieve. They are so horrible! They slaughtered every hero in that universe without any remorse at all!”, Harry yelled with anger.
“But... how did it happen?!”, Lois asked, almost wailing.
“I can explain. I have seen the events unfold from the eyes of Hal Jordan of that world”, Green Guardian told them. This was met with a surprise from Hal Jordan.
“Me?! How were you able to see the other me’s memory? Does that mean the other me is dead?!”, Hal asked.
“He’s dead. Everyone is dead, except me and Cassie... Kal and Diana killed everyone...”, Kara murmured from her trauma.
“We all died?!”, Black Canary yelled, outraged.
“Yes, I have seen the deaths of your counterparts. The other Hal, drew his last breath when he gave me his ring”, Green Guardian replied.
“Where were the Avengers? Were we killed too?”, Tony asked.
“The Avengers... didn’t exist in our universe. We had only Justice League and the Titans in our world. We decided to come here because this universe had many more heroes than we had in the past”, Wonder Girl explained.
“That explains why you had come here, but I’d like to know how our new lantern managed to see the memory of your Hal”, John Stewart asked.
“I now think it was designed by my ring as a way to warn me about the Regime. They actually came for me and attacked my home, just because I took the other Hal’s ring. I actually managed to repel the other Diana who was leading the invasion and destroy the device called the dimensional transporter, which they used to invade this universe, and was going to use to invade many more”, Green Guardian explained. The Avengers, who were shocked to see the Guardian’s Doomsday form, finally understood why the blonde lantern gained the ability.
“Oh, we now see why you can transform into Doomsday now. You actually needed to do so in order to fight against evil Wonder Woman”, Black Widow said in understatement. Superman was in shock to hear this.
“You can... transform into Doomsday?!”, Superman asked.
“It’s actually a construct armor of Doomsday shape, and I can use it only for a short time. Doing that drains a lot of stamina and energy because it require so much focus to make the construct as hard as that monster. The first time I did that against the evil Diana, I went unconscious for whole three days, but it felt so good to beat the shit out of her”, Green Guardian sighed.
“Language, young man”, Captain America told the teen lantern.
“Sorry, but the other Diana deserves no respect, which is why I named her Wonder Whore”, Armin replied with a smirk.
“Yeah, Cap. She is a tyrant like Red Skull, Sin, or even worse!”, Falcon commented.
“You are impressive! It must had required lots of courage to fight her! I know because of the time I fought Vulture as my first villain!”, Spider-Man complimented his new ally, who returned a genuine smile.
“Yeah, I literally saw you decimate at least a hundred of yellow lanterns by yourself. I believe it”, Guy told his new comrade.
“And you did that without Kilowag to train you? Even I had him to train me to better my natural talent! You were better than I thought!”, Kyle added.
“I could do that thanks to my brain and the experience the other Hal had, but I can’t create powerful objects at the same time like you do”, Armin told Kyle.
“I’ll make sure you can by showing you lots of stuff!”, Kyle cheered. Then, Optimus realized something.
“So you were the one who had fought tyrants from other universe by his own. The one who my ring mentioned when I became a green lantern was you!”, Optimus Prime said with delight.
“Wow! I’m so flattered! Thanks!”, the blonde lantern smiled at Optimus with gratitude.
“So you are basically the worst nightmare for yellow lanterns!”, Jessica Cruz uttered.
“And that what Optimus is to the Decepticons!”, Ironhide added.
“That makes them both nightmares to keep tyrants awake at night!”, Jazz cheered.
“So... what really happened?”, Lois asked again.
“It started with a tragedy. Five years ago, the Joker drugged the other Superman, who was still a hero, with Scarecrow’s fear toxin enhanced by Kryptonite, to trick him into killing his Lois Lane and their unborn child. What made it worse was Joker had a nuke which exploded in Metropolis when the other Superman was tricked into killing his beloved”, the blonde lantern explained.
“By the gods! No!”, Raiden gasped.
“The Joker made Clark kill me?!”, Lois yelled, outraged.
“We must kill our Joker to prevent the tragedy from happening!”, Ghost Rider roared in fury.
“I will demand Batman to hand over the Joker to SHIELD after this in order to end him for good. There is absolutely no reason to let the madman live”, Captain America said grimly.
“If he refuses, I will be there to beat him to a pulp, for letting the clown kill more by not killing him just once. That coward won’t stop us”, Punisher spoke with contempt toward Batman, who was too much of a coward to just take ONE life. Wonder Woman became furious at Punisher, who had called her beloved a coward.
“You dare call my beloved a coward?!”, Diana yelled angrily. They were about to fight each other, until Superman stopped them．
“Both of you please! Calling my best friend a coward is bad, but so is fighting against our allies who just has a different belief!”, Superman said. Punisher and Wonder Woman had no choice but to comply, as Superman was the best hero to everyone else, even them.
“I cannot agree more. The Joker deserves to die, and the other Joker met his well-deserved end by the other Superman, who avenged his Lois Lane by killing him”, Green Guardian added. The others could see where this was going, as they begun to sweat.
“We are supposed to be glad to hear the clown got what he deserved, right?”, Red Hood asked with slight fear in his voice.
“Jay, you know this is the beginning of something far worse”, Tim commented.
“Exactly. This had changed the Man of Steel of the other world. He decided enough was enough and decided to enforce peace on his world. However, this was met with the suspicion of his Batman, who begun to make plans in case the other Superman went too far, which he did”, Green Guardian answered.
“Then how did he go as far to become a tyrant, the most painful obstacle against peace?!”, Martian Manhunter fired his question. Then Wonder Girl finally opened her mouth.
“It was the other Diana. She had lusted after her Superman, and she took advantage when the other Lois died. She did her best to manipulate Superman to become more violent, so she could have him to herself, while I was stuck into the Phantom Zone because of him!”, Wonder Girl roared with hatred.
“By Hera! So your world’s me was Lady Macbeth!”, Diana gasped, incredulous. Kara and Green Guardian had confused looks, as they never knew what ‘Lady Macbeth’ was.
“Who’s the lady called Macbeth?”, the duo asked at the same time.
“Cmon! You don’t really know?! Even someone like me who prefers music over Shakespeare know that she is the one who manipulated her husband Lord Macbeth to kill their king, and resulted in him becoming a murderous tyrant”, Star Lord commented.
“Oh, it fits my Diana so much”, Kara gasped.
“What... did the other me do?”, Diana asked, her mouth agape.
“Your duplicate started by preventing the other Martian Manhunter from convincing other Superman to turn away from vengeful path. She told the other Superman to burn the other J’onn J’onzz, making the other Superman kill his friend for the first time. Oh, she also hid the other Aquaman’s condolence to the other Superman from him, manipulating him into thinking she was the only friend he had”, Green Guardian confirmed.
“I... killed J’onn?!”, Superman gasped in shock, but the insurgent lantern knew he had to tell Superman everything.
“J’onn J’onzz is not the only one the other you had killed. The next one to die was the other Green Arrow, whom your duplicate had pummeled to death without any remorse, even though he and Dinah had a baby at that time, widowing her. Then Sinestro decided to aid your duplicate, resulting in him becoming an yellow lantern, who decimated the Green Lantern Corps of that world, including Mogo and Ganthet”, the lantern tried to tell Superman everything, but Hal shut it off, realizing something wrong.
“Wait a minute. The other me managed to survive the evil Supes killing almost all Green Lanterns, even Mogo and Ganthet?! And the view is clearly too specific about the evil Supes, did the other me...”, Hal tried to finish his questions, but the successor of the other Hal was quick to answer.
“Yes, the other you joined evil Supes, and went yellow as well. The other you saw Sinestro carrying a dead John Stewart, who told him Guy Gardner did it, and he foolishly believed Sinestro’s lies... It was so obvious Sinestro was the one who killed Stewart! But he was dumb enough to believe the lie and ripped off Guy Gardner’s arm, and made him fall to his death... I still remember the feeling of ripping his arm off... because of his fucked-up memory...”, Armin almost sobbed.
“Oh my gosh! So that’s why you froze at me! It’s okay, you just need to forget it”, Guy quickly rushed to his new friend and hugged Armin to offer comfort. John Stewart also joined them.
“Yeah! You don’t need to worry. I’m never gonna let Sinestro even lay a finger on me!”, John Stewart cheered.
“No worries, kid. I’ll never go yellow”, Hal added. It gave Armin enough comfort, who wiped off tears in his eyes. Thne it was Green Arrow’s turn.
“So Supes killed the other me. Then, what happened to the other Dinah, and our kid?!”, Green Arrow asked. This time, Kara was the one to give the answer.
“My Kal killed my Dinah by slicing her in half with heat vision, without any remorse... She even told me he blasted her stomach to kill her in his first try, when Doctor Fate saved her from dying, and reunited her with another Ollie who lost his Dinah. He too died, by my Diana’s hand, who also took pleasure watching the yellow lanterns devour your kid... I’m sorry”, Kara cried.
“I finally see why you were so angry with Clark and Diana. Hearing all this, I’m angry at them too, for making our counterparts suffer such fate”, Black Canary spat angrily.
“And Wonder Whore also killed the other Huntress by snapping her neck with the lasso. She also killed Mera in the end, and worked with Black Manta to destroy Atlantis of the other world”, Green Guardian filled in more detail.
“WHAT!”, Huntress yelled in rage.
“Vermin Diana worked with Black Manta?! Destroyed Atlantis and killed ME?!”, Mera screamed, totally angry.
“That Diana is a real bitch!”, Zatanna gasped.
“And we already know she has more body counts”, Vixen sighed with disgust.
“She must not have the lasso! Oh wait, you have it”, Huntress said as she took a look at the lasso of truth attached to the teen lantern’s ODM gear.
“I took it from her when I kicked her ass, because that whore was unworthy of it”, Green Guardian spat with hatred.
“Yeah, the lasso wouldn’t want a whore like her to wield it. You did it a favor by freeing it from her hand”, Batwoman sighed with anger.
“I’m glad you wrecked that pretender to a pulp. The Whore deserves it for ruining Diana’s heroic reputations here”, Hawkgirl spat with hatred.
“I am grateful that you put an end to the insanity of my duplicate. I assume it was so hard for you not to perceive me or Clark to be like them”, Wonder Woman told the one who defeated her counterpart.
“It wasn’t that hard. You and Superman don’t have their evil and ugly looks. The fact you are worthy enough to lift Mjolnir also helps. I believe my Kara and Cassie will realize you and Superman are nothing like your counterparts in time, and I will make sure of it”, Green Guardian replied. The lantern then noticed he was taking a detour from the main story for too long, and resumed his explanation.
“The Tyranny of the other Superman was named the One Earth Regime. It ruled the Earth with an Iron Fist, until Batman finally called another good Justice League to end it, and this is the worst part. When Lex Luthor turned against Superman to save Batman’s duplicate, the other Superman killed Lex who was his best friend without any remorse. Off course, the people resented this, and he decided to destroy Gotham and Metropolis to set an example, and invade the universe of the other Justice League to make them pay for intervening. I really don’t want to say it, but Billy Batson stood up to his former idol, because the evil Supes was about to go too far. Then the other Supes killed him by melting Billy’s brain with heat vision, without any remorse”, Green Guardian sighed with grief. Billy too, now understood what was wrong with his new friend.
“Supes... killed me?!”, Billy gasped in shock, like Superman who murmured, “I killed Billy?”.
“He is a lunatic! And how is it that everyone else could let him kill Billy?!”, the Flash yelled with dismay.
“It was the other Hal who stopped the other you from saving the other Billy. I even remember him telling the other you that the other Billy was an acceptable loss. He is to blame, and I am my own hero. His actions has nothing to do with who I am”, Green Guardian told the Flash, echoing the word of the other Flash.
“But... how in the world did Billy die from Supes? He can take massive heat!”, Beast Boy uttered, not believing Superman was actually able to kill Captain Thunder. Then Shinji Ikari came to give Garfield the answer.
“Yeah, I heard about that when wizard Shazam of that world I assume, gave me powers. Hercules of that world had died against Superman, which made Captain Thunder’s duplicate lose his invincibility”, Shinji explained. Hercules was enraged by this.
“The evil Superman killed me?! I swear to Zeus, when I meet this evil Superman, I will crush him into pieces to return the favor!”, Hercules roared with anger.
“That’s the same for me! I won’t forgive a monster who killed Billy, even his other version, in cold blood! I want to rip him apart right here and now!”, Mary Marvel swore with rage.
“I wish we all could, but he is invincible now. He is no longer vulnerable to Kryptonite nor Magic”, Kara murmured in despair.
“How... do we even beat him? He has no weakness at all, and he is the strongest brute out there... our raw power would be no match against him...”, Captain Marvel sighed in despair.
“The good news is that our new lantern friend was able to prevent him from coming here for a while”, Captain America said.
“Yeah! We wouldn’t want a child murderer Superman to enter our world!”, Antman spat angrily.
“The evil Supes had lost for once when Batman summoned a good Superman, like you, to beat the evil Supes. The mad dictator had been imprisoned for his crimes, until Brainiac came to that Earth. Kara?”, Green Guardian said as he pointed at his Superman, and motioned Kara to continue.
“I had arrived to Kahndaq... of all places... Black Adam and Diana fed me lies that the insurgency were evil and my cousin was the good guy, even though the truth was the opposite. I foolishly believed them and freed my Kal... We stopped Brainiac, but my Kal used the technology Brainiac had, to make him invincible. Cyborg broke me out when he realized Cassie was stuck into the Phantom Zone because of my cousin, but my Diana killed him. Then... they killed everyone... who accepted me despite the atrocities they committed... not that I can accuse them, now that I helped Quan Chi and Shinnok, until he let me out of their manipulations”, Kara finished as she cried. Supergirl was devastated to hear what happened to her other self.
“So... you really had no one... I had my Kal who is still good... Alex... Lena... I cannot even imagine what losing them feels like. And when you were about to have somebody, your Kal and your Diana took it all”, Supergirl said as she comforted her other self.
“Maybe we should take her in... I’ll give you as much love as I give to my Kara...”, Lena added, but the other Kara already had someone who would be always there for her.
“Thanks... but I already have him. He likes me somehow... and I want to be with him, because he can give me everything I wanted to have, family, friends, a true love”, Kara replied. Supergirl looked at the love of her alternate self, with respect. Then Wanda came to comfort Kara, as she had a similar past.
“Kara, you are not to blame. Those who manipulated you are the only ones responsible, just like Hydra which manipulated me and my brother Pietro. You still have the right to accuse them”, Wanda told Kara.
“Yeah, I admit it was so scary running away from you trying to kill me, but now that I’ve heard your story, I can never be hard on you”, Quicksilver added.
“I’m sorry...”, Kara murmured as she accepted their kindness.
“You are not as damned as you think yourself to be. I too had once let Quan Chi manipulate my grief for losing my family, which he had killed by controlling Bi-Han’s body. I killed Bi-Han who was innocent in retribution, and his brother, Kuai Liang, let me have my second chance. Both you and Bi-Han deserve second chance, and I am grateful to your beloved for forcing Quan Chi to restore Harumi and Satoshi”, Hanzo told Kara.
“That’s the same for me. I am not backing away from killing criminals though”, Punisher added, as Drax nodded.
“And you should not”, Green Guardian told Punisher.
“Also, we must not fail them the next time. Failing them again means his genius being wasted”, Rocket commented.
The Titans were worried about Wonder Girl as they heard she was stuck in the phantom Zone. Donna decoded to ask her new sister about it, and also Cassie’s former life before the regime, to truly restore her happiness again.
“You had been inside the Phantom Zone? Were you alone?”, Donna asked with worry.
“I wasn’t. I had Konner, Tim, and Kory with me. We had no choice but to go in there because Superman punctured Konner’s heart for questioning him...”, Wonder Girl said with sadness.
“Does this mean... I died in the Phantom Zone?”, Superboy asked, horrified.
“You didn’t. Cassie Sandsmark told me about what she went through after we became friends. After the temporal defeat of the tyranny of evil Supes, the other Batman managed to break all four out, but the other Tim died when Zod blew a hole in his chest from behind. You died after the regime’s second victory, when Batman, who was controlled by Superman, killed you with Kryptonite spear to the heart. I answered instead, because Cassie is still hurt from this memory, because Cassie loved you”, Armin explained.
“Oh god... I’m sorry, but I already have M’gann”, Superboy said, but Miss Martian walked toward Wonder Girl, hugging her.
“Konner... why should we leave her? We can share you. She deserves it”, Miss Martian said.
“Yeah, you are right M’gann, and I’m sorry, Cassie”, Superboy told Wonder Girl as he pulled both Wonder Girl and Miss Martian into a tight hug. Wonder Girl could only sink into Konner’s chest, as she kept sobbing.
“Then... how did I die?”, Kory asked.
“Wonder Whore snapped your neck when you attacked the killer of the other Dick Grayson, leaving your neck open”, Armin answered. Dick was surprised to hear ‘the killer’ of other him.
“Wait! Who killed the other me?”, Dick asked.
“The brat, Damian Wayne. He also had the audacity to invade my home and kill some of my friends there. I avenged his victims, including other you, by ripping him in half. That brat also stained your costume by his despicable acts”, Armin spat with hatred.
“Damian killed me?! He would never do that!”, Nightwing gaped, mortified.
“Dick, you are forgetting he is the grandson of Ra’s again. We need to discipline him properly so our Damian won’t become that brat”, Red Hood told Nightwing.
“And I’m glad he avenged the other you”, Starfire told Nightwing.
“Although at least on that brat’s hindsight, the death of your duplicate was an accident. However, he took delight in killing the other Barbara Gordon. That is why I knew that brat was beyond redemption”, Armin added with disgust toward the other Damian.
“The brat not only killed other Dick, but also another me?! I must thank you for killing him!”, Barbara said, enraged.
“We need to teach him a lesson if our Damian is anything like that brat”, Tempest added.
“I couldn’t agree more. Fortunately, I know of a good way to discipline brats”, Armin smirked.
“Wait! You cannot kill our Damian! He hasn’t done anything wrong!”, Dick pleaded.
“Why should I? Maybe kicking his ass might be needed, but killing? Absolutely unnecessary”, Armin answered. Dick sighed in relief, as he thought his new friend was actually going to kill his Damian.
“So you wanted to spare us from the tragic fate...”, Tim gasped.
“Sure he did. And he literally saved your ass”, Stephanie commented.
“That gives me another question. Why did you prefer us over the Justice League? The other Hal was definitely not a Titan member”, Raven asked.
“I simply respected you. Even though your counterpart and Victor’s joined evil Supes, it was never from sharing the same belief. It was because evil Supes lied to you by telling your counterparts that their teammates all died when Joker nuked Metropolis, when evil Supes imprisoned them all. You never forsook each other, and never ceased to love each other, unlike the other Damian Wayne. You were the best of that world, which evil Supes had ruined”, Armin sighed with sadness.
“Thanks... I’m so glad you are part of us now. You’ve earned it”, Wally told his new friend. Green Guardian noticed everyone being silent from the despair they felt, but giving up was never an option.
“And We conclude this warning. Even though that evil Supes cannot reach us for now, he sure will in the future. And I will tell you what you need to be concerned the most. It’s not about them going after me. It’s about them coming after our Superman”, Green Guardian said as he looked at his Superman, the good one.
“Me?”, Superman asked.
“The evil Supes, who is no longer Superman, will be after you. You have your Lois, and maybe a son. That maniac will come to kill you in order to steal them from you, by any means”, Green Guardian answered. Lois went from horrified to enraged. She became Hellbat so no one could hurt her Clark, and now there was this maniac who was parading as her Clark to take his position by killing him.
“He’s a maniac worse than the Joker! He doesn’t deserve to be Clark Kent nor Superman, and I’d take Lex Luthor over him any day! He thinks he can kill my Clark and force me and Jon to be with him?! Never! I will never be with a monster who kills innocent people, even children like Billy! If that maniac wants to kill my Clark, he will have to kill me first!”, Lois roared with anger.
“Indeed, Lois. The maniac is no longer worthy for you and your son, and we will not let him touch you and your son, nor Clark”, Thor told Lois. However, the blonde lantern was unsure of Thor’s words.
“Supermaniac, which I call evil Supes, can still brainwash you like he did with his Batman, to be his soulless doll. And he killed all insurgents, only to have them reanimated to be his puppets by making them undead Cyborgs”, Green Guardian replied. The heroes who were totally silent was finally able to react, as Supermaniac had been too despicable.
“He is no better than Sektor!”, Sub Zero gasped, mortified.
“He is as vile as Quan Chi”, Bi-Han and Sareena gasped at the same time.
“It doesn’t matter he had been Superman once. He is as evil as Shao Kahn!”, Kung Lao said, incredulous.
“Optimus... we thought we were unfortunate to have Cybertron destroyed by Megatron... but it turned out we were lucky even to be alive...”, Elita murmured in fear. Optimus held Elita to comfort her.
“That Supermaniac and Shockwave would get along very well!”, Grimlock roared with disgust.
“He’s no better than Megatron”, Starscream added, also disgusted.
“Oh god. I knew there was an evil Superman, but hearing the entire story is something else. He’s a monster, no better than SEELE, or Kano”, Shinji sighed with disgust.
“Ein Führer Superman! Ich kann es nicht glauben! (A Hitler Superman! I cannot believe it!)”, Asuka cried out, shocked enough to return to her native German tongue. Rei was too horrified even to speak, like the rest of WILLE members.
“At least Magneto didn’t execute us even we fought against him. Even he is better than the maniac”, Storm gasped.
“What does this Supermaniac have as his asset?”, Black Panther finally asked.
“He has tons of killer robots and yellow lantern clones. He also has his twisted version of ‘heroes’ whom he turned into his puppets, and the Wonder Whore, his lapdog and concubine”, Kara spat with hatred.
“He’s pure evil! How is it that he is Superman?!”, Hawkeye gasped.
“He’s not Superman, not anymore. He’s Supermaniac now. And according to the memory I gained from other Hal, he considers himself as GOD who is right in everything. That is why he is remorseless when he kills heroes and villains alike because all those who disobey him or even question him are criminals to him. He even takes pleasure in killing. As for Wonder Whore, she never deserved the title Wonder Woman, who belongs to someone as worthy as our Diana, to begin with”, Green Guardian replied.
“Even villains like us are better than them!”, Captain Cold exclaimed, mortified by the vileness of Supermaniac.
“You all are. In the other world, Wonder Whore executed Golden Glider even though your team killed nobody. You were the only one who survived their first reign”, Green Guardian explained.
“Wonder Woman executed me?!”, Lisa Snart gasped, horrified.
“And what was our crime? We sure are criminals, but we don’t hurt innocent people like they do!”, Mirror Master screamed in terror.
“Your sentence was assisting Batman’s insurgency. I know that because the other Hal was still a regime member when your executions took place. And the one who killed Golden Glider is Wonder Whore, not Wonder Woman”, Green Guardian told them.
“They are much crazier than I am!”, Harley Quinn, now completely healed as well as her fellow Sirens, exclaimed.
“You are more rational than that whore ever will be, Harley... I’m sorry I failed the other you. I couldn’t stop my Diana from executing you and your sister... and your daughter”, Kara murmured.
“I had a daughter in your universe? Sure I have my sis, but not a daughter. I already broke up with Joker, and got together with Pam. A shame my other daughter didn’t make it here...”, Harley replied with sadness.
“The whore must suffer for what she did to Harley’s daughter”, Poison Ivy gritted her teeth in hatred.
“If the other Harley had such fate, what was my fate in that world?”, Catwoman asked in fear.
“Supermaniac had Batman which he had turned into his puppet kill the other you”, Green Guardian explained. Catwoman collapsed on the ground, devastated.
“My god... poor Batman... I feel bad for the other Batman forced to kill the other me... Supermaniac must pay for making both Batman suffer!”, Catwoman wailed with grief.
“We must do whatever it takes to stop his madness”, Superman said.
“We cannot allow a murderous tyrant like him to rule over innocent people”, Captain America added, with determination.
“When he comes, we will show him he isn’t a god”, Liu Kang declared, also furious.
“I cannot allow my other self and Supermaniac to take innocent lives at least in this universe. It is my responsibility now. And I won’t let them touch my Bruce like they did with theirs”, Wonder Woman added.
“We must keep going, as the heroes we are. When he comes, we will be ready, together”, Nightwing declared, his new lantern friend standing next to him.
“And we also have to learn from his case, so none of us will sink into the same dark path”, Cyclops added.
“Justice Avenger Legion, you are to become stronger and better to face them someday. We cannot let these monsters to oppress our people. We must be strong enough to teach them a lesson”, Iron Man told everyone.

However, the One Earth Regime was already aware of the events which took place in the other universe thanks to the Brother Eye. Wonder Whore had become even more insane after her humiliating defeat by Green Guardian’s hand. She no longer had her lasso, her sword, and shield. Wonder Whore and Supermaniac watched the fight between the heroes and Shinnok’s forces, and how the heroes defeated Shinnok, with Rage.
“I wish Shinnok had ended them all! Especially that lantern! He will suffer for addressing me, the Queen of the Amazons, as a Whore!”, Wonder Whore roared angrily. Then the Whore and Supermaniac saw the lantern who interfered with their plan, showing affection to their Kara as they embraced each other. They became even more enraged when they heard the lantern warn the heroes about them, and seeing the other Lois refuse the High Councilor’s madness finally made Supermaniac lose his temper.
“I hate that stupid lantern who corrupted Kara and Lois! I will kill them all! Him, the so called Justice Avenger Legion, and all those who cheer for them and everyone they love, I will kill them all until the last! They will all pay for his interference!”, Supermaniac declared as he destroyed the brother eye’s screen with heat vision, when Black Oracle entered the situation.
“Master. Destroying the Eyes of the Earth is unrecommended. Destroying more planets which disobey us is more urgent...”, Black Oracle spoke without emotion, until Supermaniac punched him away in fury.
“Shut up! I only kept you alive because of your strategic value! You are not to question me! Now get back to fix the brother eye!”, Supermaniac ordered his puppet, which quickly got to work.
“Please, Kal! Give me another chance! I will find another way other than the dimensional transporter to enter their universe! Then the lantern’s head is going on my wall, like the other heads in my room!”, Wonder Whore pleaded, as she led Supermaniac to her room, which had many heads such as Cyborg’s, Green Arrow’s, Mary Batson’s, Mera’s, on the wall, as trophies. However, Supermaniac had denied the whore’s pleas, as he had other plans.
“I agree on the part of finding an alternative to the dimensional transporter, but I don’t think you can best the lantern, who now has your weapons at his disposal. I will be the one to kill him. He stole Kara and Lois from me, and allowed Chaos to continue by interfering with our plans to seize the universe, as well as for banding with even more of the so called ‘heroes’. This makes him no better than the Joker, and I will punish him the same way I did with the Joker, and free Kara from him! Then, I will free Lois from my alternate incompetent self, and then she will be finally safe with me and our son!”, Supermaniac replied with anger.
“Yes, Kal. We cannot let these fools continue causing chaos, and we must save their universe from their incompetence! I understand failure is no longer an option, because we are the real heroes who can bring true peace, unlike these fools who ruin our effort”, Wonder Whore answered. Then Wonder Whore turned to the other dark Raven, and gave her an order.
“Raven! You are to find a sorcery which allows us to breach into another universe! We can no longer wait for the dimensional transporter!”, dark Raven was quick to oblige, as she left Wonder Whore to do her research.
