Jegulus

James had always thought he knew a thing or two about broken people. He had seen people go through tough times and thought he could always empathize. But one night in the Astronomy Tower, everything he thought he knew shattered into a million pieces.

He found Regulus there, dangerously clinging to the railing. James had never seen anyone so broken before. He could see the pain in Regulus' eyes, and it was far beyond anything he had experienced himself. For a moment, James stood there, frozen, trying to understand what was happening.

As he began to approach Regulus, he saw the raw emotion in his eyes, and it was overwhelming. James could see him drown in his emotions, and he knew that there was no coming back from that. But despite the intensity of the moment, something within James drew him to Regulus.

Over time, James learned more about Regulus and the life he had lived. When Sirius had left the Black family, Regulus stayed, thinking he could make things better. But it only broke him even more than what he had endured before.

Despite the darkness that cloaked Regulus' life, James found himself unable to let go. He wanted to help Regulus heal, but he struggled to find the right words and actions to do so. Over time, their connection grew stronger, and James found himself completely in love with Regulus.

As more time with James passed, Regulus seemed to be growing happier and sadder at the same time. Like being with James was a light beacon in his night sky, but that his darkness had somehow tainted that light. These thoughts only grew worse as weeks went by.

Death was lurking around the corner, and it was only a matter of time before it took away the person James loved more than anything else. Even though the time he spent with Regulus was short, it was filled with love and affection that he would never lose.

In the end, James learned the true meaning of death. It wasn't just the physical absence of someone; it was the loss of all the love, emotions, and experiences they had shared. He knew that he would never forget the time he spent with Regulus, and he would always carry him with him, no matter where life took him.
