Chapter 1
Severus Snape wasn't the kind of person that had many friends, to be honest he only had one best friend named Lily Evans.
They had meet in their first year of university, Severus was in Dramatic major and Lily in Scriptwriting specialization so they had to help each other to organize a play together, the play was the adaptation of "Dead poet society" and Severus didn't know if it was because of Lily or just because he loved it but this play had been the most meaningful and emotional performance of his life.
He remembered all of his lines by heart, he hasn't let Neil Perry go that night and the most important thing is that he remembered the way Lily was looking at him while he was performing, she wasn't just happy for him, she was proud of Severus.
So the only person he really talked to was Lily, she was the only person who understand him, all of the other students were ignoring him or making fun of him.
He wasn't really the only target, it was always the students in the engineering department who made fun of the "cringe theater kids" but Severus didn't care, well he haven't cared until he discovered that the boyfriend of Lily was in this department, even if his girlfriend was studying in the theater department in a way, it wasn't stopped him from bothering the other theater students, especially Severus.
He was angry that she spend all of her days with another guy.
James Potter was jealous of Severus and anytime he saw him, the engineering major student was making fun of him, insulting him or pushing him.
But Severus didn't care, he was just worried for Lily.
So yeah, Severus was a bit of a loner.
But one night he had received an random text out of nowhere with the phone number of.. Lily?
"Hey, are you a friend of Evans?"
"Uh, yeah? Why do you have her phone??"
"Thanks God finally someone who text back without insulting me, I think I have your friend's phone, we're in the same program at the uni, I tried to send a message to 'Prongs' but he was calling me a bastard and telling me gently that if I touch his gf he'll kill me"
Severus was a bit confused, how this person knew Lily's password... And then he remembered that James had asking Lily to let her phone in free access mode..
"Oh okay uh I'll tell her, what's your name?"
"Lucius Malfoy, if she doesn't see who I am tell her that I'm the tall french guy with white long hair"
"Okay okay I will"
"Nice... So uh, what's up Sevia?"
"Wait that's my nickname?💀"
"Yeah, why?"
"Oh my god, well I'm not Sevia, I'm Severus"
"Severus ? Original, so tell me if I'm wrong but that's a masculine name isn't it?"
"Yeah well, Lily's boyfriend don't really like me because I'm a man and she's my best friend so I think she called me that to hide that she text me, otherwise 'prongs' will become insane"
"That's a bit toxic"
"IT IS, but to her he's a good man, but it clearly is"
"Yeah... So Severus, how are you?"
"Not to be rude but why are you engaging a conversation with me?"
"Idk, I'm bored and I like to talk to people"
"Oh ok"

"Oh yeah, yeah I'm good, you?"
"Same, so you're at the uni too?"
"Yeah in the theater department"
"Oh I've already see you then"
"Idk, people don't really pay attention to me"
"What do you look like?"
"You know Slenderman?"
"Uh yeah?.."
"Same thing but listening to sad Radiohead songs"
"You emo"
"You elza from frozen"
"That's a compliment actually"
"Maybe... I'm sorry but my social battery is running out of energy, gonna sleep now"
"Okay, goodnight emo Severus"
"Goodnight Lucius the french Malfoy"
Severus had put his phone away and then took a deep breath, random things breaking his routine sometimes really upset him but he wasn't mad against anyone, he was just annoyed against himself to feel angry for such a ridiculous thing.
After that he had gone to sleep remembering that tomorrow is the distribution and lecture of their new roles, so it'll be a chill day.
