The knot was pressed.
The thrashing limbs went still and Remus took one last look back toward the castle. His heart shrivelled with a jealous yearning he never thought he could possess as Professor Dumbledore led him underground.
Remus flicked his wand, pressing the knot and watching the limbs go still. Glancing back at the dark outline of the castle, he gave a tired huff. Some feelings never managed to fade.
