Catnap slowly stirs awake. He gets slightly blinded by the sun that was shining through the windows, and covers his eyes. Then, he was able to see the note that was left at the couch next to him. Getting up and doing a big stretch, gets Catnap enough energy to fully wake up. Those Circadian Cigarettes really did the job, sleeping early and waking up when the sun actually goes up. After getting up, Catnap goes to see and read the note that Dogday left.
'Just went to go get breakfast for the both of us. Sit tight, and I'll be back soon!

Catnap smiled when he read the note. Someone went out of their way to actually go out and get him something to eat. Something which reminded him of his rehabilitation when he was getting used to his new body. It was a simple time, then. No one was ordering Catnap around, and the scientists were actually quite nice and friendly. Anyway, Catnap decides to go and freshen up and get out of his uniform, since he wasn't able to do that last night, he was about to but Dogday happened, and... Catnap had a thought. He actually doesn't know what him and Dogdays' relationship is. Also what was he thinking? What possessed him to ask someone to service him in that way? Maybe the tiredness, or even the stress of yesterday? Catnap decides that he will ask Dogday that whenever he comes back with breakfast. Catnap then goes to his closet and strips down, getting into the shower to wash away the sins of yesterday, and the leftover smell from last night. After freshening up, Catnap goes and puts on his normal pajamas, which is nothing at all. Catnap wonders why he even wears clothes if any of the delicate bits are covered by his fur, but the law dictates that all critters wear clothes when outside of their private domiciles so that their scents and musks are hidden and cannot be smelled, also for privacy on less furry critters. After going back out to the living room, Dogday had already entered his house and was setting down food at the dining table. As soon as Dogday saw Catnap, his mouth dropped and his face went flush with red.
"Uh... Catnap, why are you naked?" Dogday said as he was looking off to the side with an awkward smile. Catnap in turn, walks forward and gently grabs Dogdays' chin and makes Dogday face him. At the same time, Catnap leans down slightly, making their faces only a few inches apart.
"They're my pajamas, sunshine. It's perfectly legal to be naked in one's own home. Also, how do you even have a key to my house?" Catnap gets a tiny bit closer, making Dogday blush even harder and close his eyes in anticipation. Catnap was feeling quite devious today and only swished his tail at Dogdays' muzzle, making Dogday step back in shock. Dogday then pouts a bit, expecting something else.
"I'm just good with locks." Dogday said as he crosses his arms and looks off to the side, looking quite angry. Catnap moves closer to Dogday and puts on a tender expression.
"I wanna be real with you, Dogday. What do you think about us? Are we a thing?" Catnap says as he cups Dogdays' with both of his hands. Dogday replies with a tender smile and grabs onto Catnap's arms.
"I really like you, Catnap. You seem like a really cool person to be around. Would you wanna be a couple together?" Dogday says to Catnap as he shows him a lovely expression, one which melts Catnap's heart.
"I do, too. You're kind of the reason I feel like waking up in the morning. And, yes, I wanna be a couple together." Catnap says while giving the biggest smile he can as he wipes away a couple of tears. The two then slowly close in together and kiss. The two would've stayed in that position forever, but the loud grumble from both of their stomachs had them part and dig into breakfast. Catnap went and got a couple of plates and silverware while Dogday took out the incredible smelling food out of the bags.
"Where did you get this stuff?" Catnap asked as Dogday took out loads of waffles, hash browns, sausages, and even bacon out of nondescript brown paper bags.
"Oh yeah, do you remember that diner where I accidentally bumped into you? That's my usual breakfast place, actually." Dogday said as he started to put some food on his plate with Catnap doing the same. The pair talked while eating, and Dogday was chomping down his food way faster than Catnap was.
"Actually, since you're now let off from the police force. Why don't you join us in the prison operation? You could be a great asset." Dogday said which perked up Catnap, but then immediately after, he shook his head no. Catnap wanted to do as much as he can so that him, Dogday, and the Smiling Critters can get along better, but Catnap had something else on his mind, something a bit more important. Later in the day, Catnap gets ready, wearing his trench coat again and taking one of his revolvers from his gun safe. Just in case. Then, he goes and drives up to the Sawyer Industries Building. The guard and the receptionist gave no hassle to Catnap, and he took the elevator back up to Dr. Sawyer's floor but he doesn't find him anywhere. Catnap would usually wait, but this is a good opportunity to try and look around to see if there is anything about the strange dreams that he has been having. Catnap goes to up the computer inside of the workshop and turns it on, and for some reason Dr. Sawyer doesn't have a password on it so he is immediately on the desktop. After browsing some documents and files he is able to see a video file with a document attached to it. Catnap cannot access both, an error message keeps popping up saying that the files are corrupted so Catnap decides to hold on to them. Catnap brings out a cable from his jacket, feeling behind his ear for a port and slotting the cable inside. Then, Catnap slots the other end of the cable inside of the computer and copies the file and saves it inside of Catnap's head. Just as Catnap turns off the computer and sits back down, Dr. Sawyer enters his workshop.
"Oh, hello Catnap. What brings you here, today?" Dr. Sawyer said as he walks forward and sits opposite of Catnap.
"Hey, Doc. First off, the Circadian Cigarettes are working pretty well, they got me sleeping like they said they would. But they're making me have strange dreams." Catnap says to the doctor, making him get a more serious and excited tone.
"Tell me about them, I wanna know what an android may dream about." Dr. Sawyer said to Catnap.
"Well, they all have a reoccurring theme. It's basically about a vat and me inside of it." Catnap said as the doctor got a shocked expression and immediately tried to hide it.
"That's...... Definitely interesting. I have to go now." Dr. Sawyer said before swiftly leaving. Well that was strange. Catnap tried to silently follow him but to no avail, he ran pretty fast and just disappeared into a wall. Catnap tried to scan around the area but the walls were too thick and filled with lead to see anything. But Catnap was able to see the outline of a room. Catnap decided to make a note of that and go back home, but before that, he wanted to see what the video and document was about, so he went back to the workshop and opened the computer again, finding the files. After a moment, the files were now uncorrupted and free to view. Catnap decided to look at the document first and read through it.
'Experiment 1188 - 1 (THIS DOCUMENT WILL BE KEPT VAGUE FOR THE SAKE OF CONFIDENTIALITY)
After multiple pleadings from Police Chief Proto Amalgam, we finally greenlit the project that he wanted ever since Experiment 1188 or Catnap Moonlight had re-entered the police force as an android. His specifications on the body is definitely coming from an area of perversion, along with it's many features. But other than that, Experiment 1188 - 1 is basically an upgrade to Experiment 1188, minus the majority of the combat augmentations and original size.
Because of the difference in body, and the fact now Experiment 1188 - 1 is now indistinguishable with Catnap Moonlight from when he was still a normal critter, we have decided to hold Experiment 1188 - 1 inside of a vat to stop aging and to preserve the body. Another reason for the vat is because Chief Proto Amalgam has also been checking up on our progress daily and he cannot keep his eyes or his hands off of the vat, thus is also a way to keep foreign materials from interacting with the body.
The body now also has it's own empty mind which Chief Proto Amalgam has specified to be able to upload memories into, which is quite difficult since Experiment 1188 has standard Solid State Drives for memory and Experiment 1188 - 1 has a biomass structure that is considered as a brain. Also, Chief Proto Amalgam will be able to have complete control over Experiment 1188 - 1 in it's entirety and the consciousness will not be able to resist but only comply.

Catnap couldn't believe what he was seeing. A clone of himself exists? And one which Chief Proto specifically asked for? Also, what about his perverted specifications on its body? Catnap needed to know more. Catnap, feeling quite nervous, opened the video file and played it. It started with Chief Proto appearing in front of the camera. The background behind him looked dark and unfamiliar, but it looked kind of like the workshops and experiment rooms.
"We are about to see the latest development about my moonlight." He said before the camera turned and showed Dr. Sawyer in front of a vat with a slightly cloudy liquid. And inside the vat was a creature which looked like exactly like Catnap, but this one had a tube in it's mouth and had some electrodes attached to the top of Catnap's head and chest.
"There he is." Catnap heard Chief Proto say while walking up to the vat and laying his hand on it. Catnap felt a shiver as Chief Proto started to also breathe heavily. "You know, the only problem with the current lieutenant is that he has too much of a rebel spirit, not loyal enough. But with this, He can finally be the perfect loyal soldier and be mine alone." Catnap felt like he was about to vomit, at the same time, Proto was scratching the surface of the vat with his claws as he clenched his fists. Because of that, the Catnap inside of the vat started to stir a little bit.
"I'm gonna have to ask you to stop that, you're gonna wake up the experiment when they can't even hold a consciousness. Also can you turn that fucking camera off-" The video then abruptly ended there. Catnap was sitting down, but he felt his legs unable to move as he felt and odd and queasy feeling from his chest and his stomach. Despite this, Catnap quickly ran out of the building, down the elevator which seemed to take an eternity, and into his car where he drove like an insane person with a death wish. Only when Catnap had gotten home, shut and locked the doors, closed all of the blinds on his windows, and barricading his bedroom did he feel safe. Catnap didn't know what to do in this situation, since Dogday was probably busy with the prison operation, so he had to deal with his current feelings on his own. And he didn't know how to do that except a copious amount of drugs until he passed out.
