one week in
Saturday, September. 1991
Dear Diary,
It's been a week and I am so tired, I thought the first years won't have this much homework but oof. I am so sleepy even after sleeping early. Today is the weekend so I am free from classes. Remus my best friend, is not tired, he enjoys the school work but I and my other two best friends, Sirius and Peter are soooo lazy.
I made new friends too, like Mary and Lily, They both are Marlene's best friends and they both are muggle-borns. Lily is sooo pretty with her red hair and fair skin. She and Remus are good friends; they have the same interests in everything, nerds. But i looooove them both !!!
Mum and Dad were so happy when I sent them a letter telling them about my friends and my house, Gryffindor. Our house teacher is Professor McGonagall, she is so kind and so good to us, but she gives us so much work. I attended our Quidditch lesson and It was so good, I love flying so much. Remus and Peter didn't enjoy it much but Sirius and I enjoyed it too much.
I have six subjects, transfiguration, defence against the dark arts, charms, potions, herbology and Quidditch if you count. Peter helps all of us in Herbology he is a genius in that subject, for me it is so dull.
I miss Mum and Dad so much and I kind of want to go back home but don't tell anyone!! We all decided to stay awake today and sleep late at night because tomorrow is a holiday! yay. Sirius is also writing to his little sister right now beside me, she will be here next year. I am not the only one missing my family, Sirius was missing his family too last night, but he didn't say his parents, he was just missing his sister, we both slept hugging last night. I love him so much !!
Ok bye, Remus is here and Sirius is done with his letter, We will go out now in the ground to explore more of our school, all four of us.
