Hidden inside her parents’ closet, Hermione finds a box. It contains only two items - a letter and a journal - , but it tells the heartbreaking story of a young mother who had to give up her life in order to protect her child. Laying her on the doorstep of a loving Muggle family is the only way to save her from the wretched fate her father has in store for her.Eighteen years later, Hermione tries to honor her mother’s last wish by reacquainting herself with her twin brother. Estranged their entire childhood, having been on opposite sides of the war they recently fought doesn’t really help. Especially when her brother’s best friend is one of the main characters starring in her worst nightmare.

This is just something that I thought of after desperately searching for a story where Hermione finds out she is a Pureblood after the war (that hopefully has realistic character development).I can’t really promise frequent updates because I only write when I’m in the mood, so sometimes it takes me an hour to write a new chapter and sometimes a month.
