For some strange reason only a small percentage of babies are born with a soulmark.
Jack Dawkins has always found his soulmark weird as he can't imagine a woman saying (first words belle says) to him. As he got older he started to believe he would never be good enough for his soulmate and that she would despise him.
Belle Fox has always been fascinated by her soulmark as she in the only person in her long family history that has had a soulmate, And she has never meet anyone born with the soulmark.
