It's Up to Me
Chapter 14
____________
Harry settled into the plush chair in the waiting room, taking a moment to observe his surroundings. The room was impeccably clean, with polished stone floors gleaming under the soft glow of torches that lined the walls. The walls themselves were adorned with scenes of goblin history, their rich colors adding warmth.
In the center of the room stood a large mahogany table, its surface adorned with an array of refreshments fit for both wizard and goblin guests alike. A silver tea set gleamed in the light of torches, surrounded by porcelain cups and saucers. Next to it, a platter of pastries tempted Harry with their sweet scent, while a bowl of fruits offered a refreshing alternative.
The chairs surrounding the table were sturdy and comfortable, upholstered in rich velvet fabric that provided a welcome contrast to the cool stone of the floor. Each chair bore the emblem of the Gringotts bank.
Harry waited patiently, He was about to meet with Lord Rangnorok and his team, as well as Newt scamnder and his older brother, Lord Scamander. The war hero. He hope he would not make a fool of himself.
The heavy oak door swung open, revealing the figures of Newt Scamander and his older brother Theseus Scamander, Lord Scamander.
Newt entered first, his familiar mop of unruly hair bobbing as he walked with a spring in his step. His warm, friendly smile lit up his face as he caught sight of Harry, and he extended a hand in greeting. "Lord Potter-Griffyndor good to see you," Newt said warmly, his British accent laced with genuine enthusiasm.
Following closely behind Newt was his older brother, Theseus Scamander. Tall and imposing, Lord Scamander carried himself with an air of authority befitting his noble title. His stern expression softened slightly as he nodded in Harry's direction, acknowledging his presence with a curt nod.
"Lord Scamander," Harry greeted respectfully, rising from his seat to offer a polite nod of his own.
"Lord Potter-Griffyndor." Lord Scamander replied, his deep voice resonating through the room. "I trust you're well?"
"I am indeed. You my lord?" Harry nodded.
"I am as well."
"Oh.. Lords and their bullshit." Newt muttered.
"Newt." Theseus Scamander scold his younger brother while Harry hid his smile.
"What?" Newt asked, his left eyebrow rising playfully.
"You are 96 years old newt. Act like it."
"Wait, what?" Harry widened his eyes. Newt look like he is in late 50s not 90s. That make Lord scamander at least 100 or something.
"Wizards do age slowly. Powerful ones find themselves live for 300 to maybe 400. Merlin emrys lived 534 years. He gave up his life only because he miss Arthur Pendragon."
"Really.. Chocolate frog card didn't mention that. Wait, What about Dumbledore..?"
"Albus Dumbledore is 112 in this year. I do not know why he looked so old. Maybe he wanted to look wise or something else." Theseus Scamander pinched his nose.
"Oh.." Who cares. Harry finally thought. If Dumbledore want to look like an old man it is none of his business.
"Enough of Professor Dumbledore, now tell me Lord Potter-Griffyndor, Have you met any creatures?" Newt asked. Hoping he did.
"Yes, in first year I met a carbus, Norwegian Ridgeback dragon hatchling, Cornish Pixies, Gnomes, Acromantulas, Basilisks, Fire and Frostwing phoenix, Satori Dragons, Kappa, Kitsune, Tenshi Dragon, Celestial Owl, The Serpentkin, the Blaze Drake, Mizuchi, Tengu and many more I guess." Harry listed the creatures he remembered meeting, and purchased.
"Well, you have met many. What I want to know is where in merlin hell did you find a basilisk? And other creatures?"
"Mm.. carbus, Norwegian Ridgeback dragon hatchling, Cornish Pixies, Acromantula, Basilisks and Fire phoenix. I met them at hogwarts. You obviously know fawkes."
"Pardon Lord Potter-Griffyndor, you said you met them at hogwarts?" Theseus demanded.
"Yes. Fluffy the carbus was guarding the trapdoor leading to protect the Philosopher's Stone in Hogwarts. I heared he is now at Forbidden Forest. He is huge so I guess it is acceptable. Norwegian Ridgeback dragon hatchling was at hogwarts because someone able to win an egg in a pub. He was hatched in Hogwarts and later transport in to dragon sanctuary in Romania. Cornish Pixies are for our defense against the dark art subject. the Basilisk Saphira, I had to kill her.."
"What.. Why.?" Harry ignored Newt Scamander's wailing.
"I had to kill her because she was danger to Hogwarts. She listen to the wrong person. Her mate agreed. Later I met her mate Thorn and their hatchling Alistair. Thorn has three eggs. I am hoping in Viola we can find a suitable nest for them."
"I have so many questions." Theseus muttered.
"How long.." Before newt finish the sentence, the door swung open and Lord Ragnorok entered the waiting room.
He was dressed in a war armor, the steel plates gleaming in the light of the room. Each piece of armor seemed meticulously crafted, adorned with runes designs and symbols. The armor clanked softly with each step he took, echoing through the room.
Lord Ragnorok's stature was imposing, his expression was stern, with piercing eyes that seemed to assess everything in the room with intensity. As Harry, Newt, and his brother Lord Scamander acknowledging his presence with respectful nods, he did the same.
"Good. You are all here. The portkeys are ready. My team will go first and after 5 minutes we will go after their signal. My Bracelet wil lit as the signal." Lord Ragnorok said.
"Alright." Harry nodded.
_____________
As Harry Potter, Lord Ragnorok, Newt, and Theseus Scamander gripped the Portkey tightly, a surge of magical energy enveloped them, whisking them away from the familiar surroundings of the waiting room and into the lush ground with a soft thud. Blinking as their surroundings came into focus.
Before them loomed Griffindor Castle, majestic and imposing against the backdrop of the sprawling landscape. Its towering spires and battlements reached towards the sky, casting long shadows that stretched across.
Surrounding the castle, as far as the eye could see, stretched the untamed wilderness of Viola kingdom. The jungle was alive with the symphony of nature, the air thick with the sounds of chirping birds, buzzing insects, and rustling leaves. Shafts of golden sunlight filtered through the dense canopy above, casting dappled patterns of light and shadow on the forest floor below.
Thick vines hung from the towering trees, forming intricate curtains that obscured their view of the horizon. Massive ferns and exotic plants carpeted the forest floor, their vibrant colors adding to the surreal beauty of the landscape.
"Well.. We have lot of things to do." Lord Ragnorok muttered, eyeing the wilderness with narrowing eyes.
"Yeah.." Harry mumbled with wide eyes.
"Do you need to go to the castle first Harrison?"
"No. It can wait. We will go 1 hour broom flight first. Few of guards can stay here."
"Let's go then." Newt rubbed his hands together and grinned.
_____________
As Harry soared through the sky on his broomstick, a rush of Thrill go through him, blending with a sense of freedom that only flying could provide. The wind whipped against his face, tousling his hair. With each swoop and dive, Harry felt as though he were leaving all his troubles behind, embracing the sheer joy of being airborne. The sensation of speed, coupled with the breathtaking view of the landscape stretching out beneath him, filled him with a sense of Happiness, being home.
As they flew higher and higher, Harry's senses were heightened, his eyes scanning the Landscape. And then, he saw a creature.
A creature unlike anything Harry had ever seen before came into view, its graceful form moving with an elegance. Its body shimmered with iridescent hues, reflecting the sunlight in a dazzling display of color.
"What is that?" Harry exclaimed, his voice barely audible over the rush of the wind.
"That, Lord Potter-Griffyndor, is a qilin," Newt replied, his eyes alight with excitement. "A creature believed to have gone extinct many centuries ago."
"In ancient magical folklore," Newt began, "the qilin was not just a creature, but a symbol of wisdom and benevolence." His words hung in the air, carrying the weight of centuries-old legends.
Harry leaned in, captivated by Newt's storytelling. Newt delved deeper into the lore surrounding creature.
"It was believed that the qilin possessed the ability to discern good from evil with accuracy," Newt continued, his voice rising and falling with the rhythm of the tale.
"Its presence brought with it a sense of peace, blessing those who encountered it with good fortune. You saw qilin as your first creature in your kingdom. And I belive your future is not a bad one."
"The qilin was said to possess a horn of purest jade," Newt explained, his voice tinged with wonder. "A symbol of its connection to the earth and the heavens above. I can see it is ture."
Harry nodded.
"It's truly remarkable," Harry murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "To think that such creatures in my kingdom."
Newt smiled warmly, his eyes twinkling with pride. "Indeed, Lord Potter-griffyndor. The world of magical creatures is filled with wonders beyond imagining. And the qilin is but one of many."

Their eyes were drawn to a magnificent sight below. A creatures long thought to be extinct, lay sprawled across the landscape, its scales glinting in the sunlight like shards of precious gems.
The Dilong dragons were a sight to behold, its sleek body coiled gracefully upon the earth, its wings folded neatly against its sides.
Lord Ragnorok's voice cut through the air, "With Dilong hatchlings," he declared, "we can forge a powerful alliance with Magical China."
Harry listened intently, his gaze fixed upon the creatures below.
As Lord Ragnorok continued to speak, Harry's mind raced with thoughts of the dragon's tragic demise.
"It's a shame," Harry murmured.
Lord Ragnorok nodded solemnly, his gaze lingering on the Dilong dragons below.
"Indeed," he agreed. "They were killed by an empire who did not understand the true value of these creatures." His words carried a note of sadness.
