Chapter 06

Harry clutched the necklaces while closing his eyes. 'I hate portkey.' A familiar sensation raised as he was whisked away through space and time. Harry landed with a gentle thud in the ministry international waiting room, in Japan. He adjusted his glasses and robes. A moment later, a Japanese wizard, dressed in traditional attire, approached him with a warm smile. 'Merlin…! How long are his legs…?'

"Welcome to Tokyo, Lord Potter. I am Keisuke, your guide " the wizard greeted him.

“こんにちは (Konnichiwa) Keisuke. (Hello, Keisuke.) I am Harrison.” Keisuke’s eyes widened a little.

“You know Japanese?” Keisuke asked.

“No. Only Hello and Good Morning.” Keisuke nodes.

"You can learn in the future." The wizard suggested.

"I hope so."

Keisuke gestured toward the bustling streets ahead. "This is 'Nihonjin no Magōkai,' the Japanese Wizarding Market. The main one. You will find many things here, Lord Potter."

With Keisuke leading the way, Harry delved into the heart of Tokyo's magical district. The narrow streets bustled alive with the enchanting hum of spellcasting, the aroma of exotic potions, and the chatter of witches and wizards from all corners of the globe.

They arrived at the entrance of the market, adorned with ornate wooden gates carved with intricate magical symbols. Harry's eyes widened as he stepped inside, his senses overwhelmed by the kaleidoscope of sights and sounds. Stalls lined the cobblestone paths, displaying an array of magical artefacts and wares.

Keisuke guided Harry to the first shop on their list: "Yūrei no Furugiya," the Ghost's Wardrobe. The shop, adorned with floating robes and flickering lanterns, creates an eerie yet inviting atmosphere.

As they entered, Harry marvelled at the assortment of robes that lined the walls. Each robe seemed to hold a story of its own, whispering tales of ancient magic. Harry ran his fingers along the fabrics, feeling the intricate weaves and delicate embroidery.

As he strolled inside the shop, he spotted a trio of robes hanging together, their black, dark blue, and white colours caught his attention. Each exudes an aura of mystery. With a raised eyebrow, Harry approached the shopkeeper, an elderly wizard with a long, flowing beard.

"Excuse me, I couldn't help but notice these robes. What makes them so special?" The shopkeeper's eyes crinkled with a smile.

"Ah, those robes, young wizard. They are unique. Woven with ancient spells and enchanted threads, they possess remarkable properties that offer unusual protection to the wearer." Harry leaned forward to hear more.

"Could you elaborate on their magical abilities?" The shopkeeper nodded.

"The black robe you see is infused with a Shielding Charm, capable of deflecting curses and hexes but Not All of them. It provides an added layer of defence, allowing the wearer to navigate dangerous situations with a reduced risk of harm."

"The dark blue robe, on the other hand, carries a Disillusionment Charm," the shopkeeper continued.

"When worn, it grants the ability to blend seamlessly with one's surroundings, rendering the wearer nearly invisible. It is a valuable asset for those who prefer to remain unnoticed." Harry's eyes widened.

"And what about the white robe?" The shopkeeper licked his dry lips, eyeing the white robe.

"The white robe possesses a powerful Anti-Black Magic Enchantment. It acts as a barrier against hostile forces, repelling black spells and curses. It serves as a symbol of purity and protection, shielding the wearer from the influence of evil." Unable to resist their allure, Harry decided to purchase all three robes. He imagined the incredible adventures and challenges that awaited him, and he knew these enchanted garments would prove invaluable in his quest.

Harry left the shop, robes in hand while the shopkeeper's parting words echoed in his mind. "May these robes serve you well, young wizard. Remember, magic is not just in the wand or the spell. It lies within those who dare to wear its protective embrace."

Harry and Keisuke Stepped into a small, mystical shop tucked away in the bustling streets. The air filled with the scents of exotic herbs and the soft hoots and chirps of unseen creatures. Harry's eyes crinkled as he looked around the shop.

Approaching the counter, he found himself face-to-face with the shopkeeper. Her eyes twinkled as she eyed him.

 "Good day," Harry smiled.

"Keisuke told me I can buy rare magical animals here. Could you tell me more about them?" The shopkeeper returned the smile, her voice carrying an enchanting lilt.

"Indeed, young wizard. You have come to the right place. Our shop is renowned for its collection of extraordinary creatures from all corners of the wizarding world." Harry's gaze fell upon a glass enclosure containing a vibrant phoenix, its feathers aflame with milky and light blue.

"What about that phoenix?" The shopkeeper nodded, her eyes gleaming with pride.

"Ah, the Frostwing Phoenix. They are associated with the element of ice and also wield the power to freeze and immobilise foes. It symbolises resilience, adaptability, and the ability to weather even the harshest of conditions.”

Harry continued his exploration of the shop. He found himself captivated by a terrarium filled with miniature dragons, their scales shimmering in a kaleidoscope of colours.

"What can you tell me about these dragons?" Harry inquired, his gaze still fixed onto dragons.

The shopkeeper leaned closer, her voice lowered. "Those are the Satori Dragons, native to the mountains of Japan. They possess extraordinary telepathic abilities, allowing them to communicate with the wizard or witch they bond with. They are wise and perceptive, offering guidance and insights beyond the ordinary."

"I like to purchase all of them." Harry's eyes crinkled as he rubbed his hands together. 'Maybe I should give a pair to Hagrid…?'

The shopkeeper and Keisuke's eyes widened.

"That will cost you 52800 gallons, young wizard."

"That's fine." Shopkeeper Nodded. 'A rich kid.'

"What about that creature over there? It looks like a cross between a turtle and a serpent." The shopkeeper's face lit up as his eyes twinkled.

"Ah, you have a keen eye, young wizard. That is the Kappa. A mischievous water-dwelling creature, it possesses incredible strength and agility. Known to be tricksters, they can also be loyal companions when treated with respect. But beware, for their pranks can be quite troublesome." Harry's mind whirled with the possibilities. 'Perfect birthday gift for Fred and Gorge.'

"I will buy a kappa pair as well."

Harry's gaze fell upon a creature perched on a golden stand—a Kitsune, a magical fox known for its intelligence and shape-shifting abilities.

"Ah, the Kitsune," the shopkeeper remarked, noticing Harry's intrigue.

"This creature is highly sought for its mystical powers. It possesses the ability to shape-shift into various forms, often taking the appearance of a beautiful woman to lure unsuspecting victims." Harry marvelled at the creature's ethereal beauty and the tales he had heard of its mischief.

Continuing their exploration, Harry's attention was captivated by a glass enclosure containing a small, vibrant creature with shimmering scales—a Tenshi Dragon.

The shopkeeper leaned closer and whispered, "Behold the Tenshi Dragon, a rare breed known for its ability to heal and bring good fortune. Their scales possess remarkable medicinal properties, making them highly sought after by potion makers and healers."

The shopkeeper Continued, "Tenshi Dragons require a calm and nurturing environment. They thrive on a diet of magical herbs and require regular exposure to natural sunlight. They are incredibly perceptive creatures, able to sense the emotions of those around them and provide comfort when needed." As Harry absorbed the shopkeeper's words, his heart swelled with a newfound respect for these rare magical animals and the responsibility that came with their care.

They stopped in front of a large cage, inside of which perched a stunning creature with iridescent feathers and a long tail. Its eyes gleamed with intelligence and wisdom.

"This is the Celestial Owl," the shopkeeper explained.

"It possesses the ability to navigate through the night sky using the stars as its guide. Legend has it that they are messengers of good fortune and bearers of divine wisdom." Harry's eyes widened a little.

"It's truly remarkable. I'll take one, please."

Moving on, they approached another enclosure, where a small creature with shimmering scales slithered gracefully. Its eyes glowed when it noticed them.

"The Serpentkin," the shopkeeper said, his voice tinged with reverence.

"These serpents possess extraordinary abilities. They can communicate with Parseltongues and have a unique gift of foresight. They are known to be loyal companions and are highly sought after." Harry watched as the Serpentkin elegantly coiled itself around a branch.

"I've always had a connection with snakes. I'll take one as well." As they continued their journey through the shop, Harry's excitement grew with each new discovery. He encountered a mesmerising fire-spewing creature called the Blaze Drake.

Next, he encountered a glass tank containing Mizuchi, exquisite water serpents with shimmering scales that possessed the power to purify and heal. Their presence brought a sense of tranquillity to the room, and Harry knew they would make a perfect addition to his home.

Nearby, a group of Tengu perched on branches, their jet-black wings and sharp beaks defining their appearance. These avian creatures were known for their wisdom and intelligence, and Harry was drawn to their enigmatic presence. He decided to bring a couple of Tengu along on his magical journeys

Finally, Harry turned to the shopkeeper, his eyes alight with enthusiasm. "I want to take them all. I promise to care for them with utmost respect and love." The shopkeeper's face lit up, reflecting Harry's joy.

"I can see the love and passion you have for these creatures, young wizards. They will find a wonderful home with you. May they bring you joy and open new realms of magical possibilities." With gratitude in his heart, Harry completed the necessary paperwork and prepared to embark on a new chapter of his journey, accompanied by his newfound companions.
