Chapter 3
It's Up to Me
Chapter 03
He woke up feeling disoriented and confused, not sure of what had happened. He remembered feeling light-headed and then everything went dark. He tried to sit up, but his body felt heavy and sluggish. His vision was blurry and his head hurt. He felt like he had been asleep for days. Slowly, his memories started coming back to him. He remembered his inheritance test result and what shocked him.
He was still feeling lightheaded and unsteady. He looked around and realised he was in the room of requirements, with Dobby standing around him. Dobby was talking to him, but he couldn't make out what dobby were saying. He felt a wave of panic wash over him. Few moments later he understood what dobby said. Dobby told him that he had lost consciousness. Thankfully, everything was fine.
After rereading the inheritance test Harry felt a wave of betrayal surge through him. Harry felt the anger and hurt rising in his chest, threatening to burst forth and consume him. Harry had trusted Dumbledore since the day he met him. He had looked up to him, respected him, and believed in him. But now, Dumbledore had betrayed him. Not only had he stolen from him, but he had also blocked Harry's family magic too. How could Dumbledore do this to him? How could he be so cruel?
He wanted to confront Dumbledore and demand an explanation from him, but he knew it would be useless. After all, Dumbledore was a powerful wizard and Harry was a mere mortal. Dumbledore had taken away something so precious to Harry and his family.
And He thought Molly Weasley was a good woman. He misjudged. She too had stolen from him. How dare they…? Harry overwhelmed with feelings of anger and hurt. He wanted to lash out, to yell and curse at Dumbledore and Molly Weasley for their betrayal. But he knew that wouldn't do any good. He could never take back what had been done. He just had to accept it and move on.
Harry had always known that Dumbledore had his own agenda, but he never expected this level of betrayal. It made him remind that in life, trust must be earned, not given away freely. Harry determined to make sure no one ever abused his trust again. He would make sure that he himself remained vigilant and never let himself be betrayed like this again. Harry had learnt his lesson the hard way, and he determined to never let it happen again. He determined to stay strong and never let anyone manipulate or abuse him. He determined to never feel betrayed again.
Harry will find out why Dumbledore had done this and to make him pay for his betrayal. He would gather allies and use all of his magical knowledge and skills to get to the bottom of this. He would make sure that Dumbledore and Molly Weasley understood that when it came to betrayal, he did not forgive — or forget.
For the block in his magical core, Having read "Magical theory by Caspian Nott," he can understand his father's decision. But what He fears is it'll be too late to unblock his magical core.

Magical blocks
Magical blocks are classified into two types.
- Core Block
- Ability block
- Core Block
When a powerful child is born, their Magic is often blocked by a healer or a parent. because accidental magic can be harmful. Yet, blocking magic could not last permanently. That would consume the child's magic. As a result, parents must be aware that they must unblock their child's magic when the child is between the ages of 6 and 10 years old. When the core is blocked in rare circumstances, abilities are mostly blocked. If you are unsure to unblock the child's magic Gringotts offers to unblock a magical core for a fee.
A prisoner who is too powerful to contain requires at least a 25% core block, which is another reason for a core block.
Whilst also taking the knife to his other hand, Harry placed the parchment on the table. With the help of the knife, he sliced his finger, dropping three droplets of blood onto the parchment while he chanted the spell three times.
"Cum sanguine meo, ostende mihi plenam eventum salutis
Cum sanguine meo, ostende mihi plenam eventum salutis
Cum sanguine meo, ostende mihi plenam eventum salutis"
Letters begin to appear on the parchment after a little while. He picked up the parchment off the table and began reading it.

When he reads his diagnosis, he sighs. He had grown up with the Dursleys all his life and he had suffered under their abuse for far too long. They were horrible people and made his life miserable. They treated him like he was nothing, and always made him feel worthless.
The Dursleys had always been cruel to him. They had never made an effort to show him love or acceptance. Instead, they treated him as an unwanted guest in their home. They had forced him to do chores, belittled and humiliated him, and made him feel like an outcast. He had no control over what the Dursleys did to him, so he had to just take it.
The Dursleys had even tried to stop him from learning about magic, a part of himself that he had so desperately wanted to explore. But no matter how much he had tried, their abuse had only grown more intense. Harry was now filled with intense rage and hurt towards the Dursleys. He was angry that they had tried to keep him from discovering who he truly was. He was hurt that they had always treated him like an unwanted burden.
He had tried to tell himself that things would get better someday. But deep down, he knew that this was never going to happen. He had been living in an oppressive atmosphere of hatred and fear for so long that he had become used to it. He had become resigned to it, and it had become his new normal.
But, no matter how much he tried to convince himself that things would get better someday, he could not help but feel angry and hurt about how he had been treated by the Dursleys. He felt like he was nothing more than a burden for the Dursleys to deal with. He felt like no one else cared and that he was completely alone in this world.
He wanted to fight back, to make them see what they had done to him. But he was too scared and too powerless to do anything. He knew that the Dursleys would never understand or care and that no matter what he said or did, it would have no effect. He would never forget or forgive them for the way they had treated him. He would never forget the pain and suffering he had endured at their hands.
Harry done being a victim. He was ready to start taking control of his life, and he determined to stand up to the Dursleys and make them see that he was worth more than they had ever given him credit for. He ready to fight for himself and make them see that he was more than just a poor kid with no family. But he'll never ruin someone else's life because of what they did to him. Nobody can, however, hold him responsible for seeking little revenge.
Harry considered researching the term "Horcrux" as it occurred to him. After all, Voldemort was involved.
"My Lady, are there any books that mention 'Horcrux'?" Harry asked. Room of requirements or Lady Hogwarts, send a few books to him as a response. When Harry read the titles, he began to worry.
Black Arts
Soul Magic
Dark magic, you should never do
What is a Horcrux?
A Horcrux was a piece of equipment that a Dark wizard or witch used to store a piece of their soul in order to become immortal. The maker stayed attached to the living world even if their body suffered fatal damage so long as the object and the soul fragment inside it were both intact. The Horcrux was regarded as the worst kind of Dark Magic.
As a way to rip the soul apart, Horcruxes could only be made after committing murder, the height of evil. A spell was used in the production of a Horcrux, and shortly after the murder, a horrifying crime was carried out.
Side effects of Horcrux
Half of your sanity would be taken away when you made a Horcrux. Your skin turns pale, and some of your appearances will vanish. Your magic will be impacted as well.
His eyes widened as he finished reading it. Then horror crept upon him as he grasped what the books meant.
"I have Voldermorts's piece of soul inside me…?" Harry shouted.
"No… No… He knew. Dumbledore knew. That fucking old goat." Harry's breathing became quick and strained, his lower lip trembled, and tears flashed into his emerald eyes. He let out a small sob.
He sought a method of removing the Horcrux without endangering him after taking a decent rest. In a book about Curse-Breaking, he discovered the answer. It is a ritual that transfers the Horcrux to a different object using blood and crystal. The issue is that he needs another person to do the ritual.
Harry considered the situation and concluded that there were only two persons who could assist him. Professor Snape and Professor Flitwick. He ought to consult with professor Flitwick first.
Harry hesitated before knocking on professor Flitwick's door as he considered what to say. Harry waited for permission before entering cautiously. What he did not anticipate seeing was Professor Flitwick, Professor Babbling, and Professor Snape together. They were discussing something. He simply wished to return and look for a different answer to his issue at this point. They appear startled to see him.
"What can I do for you Mr.Potter?" Filius calmly asked his student.
"I… Well… I'm in trouble and need some help?" Harry stuttered.
"What have you done now Potter?" Severus asked while rolling his eyes.
"Severus… Trouble you say… What kind of trouble?" Filius' voice was full of concern.
"Private one. Can you take an oath first please? I promise you that the trouble I mentioned was not harming anyone other than me." Harry begged. Now all three professors were looking at him with worry-filled eyes.
"Alright Mr. Potter, I hope you know what you are doing… I Filius Flitwick swear on my magic that I will tell no one about Harry Potter's secrets that he will tell me in this room without his permission."
"Fine… I Severus Tobias Snape swear on my magic that I will tell no one about Harry Potter's secrets that he will tell me in this room without his permission."
"I Bathsheda Babbling swear on my magic that I will tell no one about Harry Potter's secrets that he will tell me in this room without his permission."
"Well… I wanted to know about the wizarding world Because I'm a muggle raised."
"Didn't you get the muggleborn package Mr.Potter? Who was your escort?" Filius asked Harry with a rise in an eyebrow.
"I didn't. Hagrid took me to the Diagon Alley."
"I beg you pardon Potter? Did you just say Hagrid took you?" Severus narrowed his eyes at the potter heir.
"Yes."
"Severus, we will discuss this later. For now, our main focus should be Mr.Potter's trouble." Bathsheda said to remind Severus firmly.
"Nobody told me anything. So, I thought of asking for Dobby's help. Dobby is a house elf. He bonded with me and said where the room of requirements is. I went there and I studied some books, including the Muggleborn package. The best thing is The room, well Lady Hogwarts can stop the time inside. And I did an Inheritance test. My magic is blocked 85%. It was done by my father. And my Family magic was blocked by the Headmaster. Also I have a horcrux in my head." Harry blurted, twitching nervously.
"You have a what?" Filius shouted in fury. Other two professors paled at hearing it.
"I have a Horcrux in my head…? To remove it I need another person to do the ritual." Harry muttered nervously.
Filius took a deep breath, "We need more details Mr.Potter."
Harry nodded at him and told them about what he found and about the ritual. He was unsure if they would help. Thank Merlin, they swore an oath.
His scar felt like it was on fire as the pressure rose. At hearing his own screams, he cringed. Even though he tries to move, all of his muscles appear to be frozen and too heavy to do so. Panic strikes him. It made him feel dizzy. He made a brief attempt to stop closing his eyes, but it was unsuccessful. A black shadow with a screaming face was the last thing he saw before the darkness fully swallowed him.
Harry awoke to the sound of shouting all around him. To see what has happened, he attempts to open his eyes, but a stinging feeling pierces them severely. His body feels weak, bewildered, and dripping with sweat.
"Easy Potter." Snape's deep voice said.
"I… Wh't hap'ned?" Harry murmured. His throat hurt as he spoke.
"We were able to destroy the Horcrux within your scar, Mr.Potter. You were unconscious for a few hours. And I removed the blocks from you. As a result, your magic becomes uncontrolled." Filius said with a firm voice.
"Al'r ht…"
"Sleep Mr.Potter." That was all he needed, a good sleep.
