Chapter 1
Regulus
It started of a normal Tuesday for Regulus and he’d be lying if he’d say that he wasn’t in a better mood than usual since the whole Barty ordeal happened. Here’s the thing, he’s been inlove with James since first year, or so he thought. But since the beginning of forth year he’d started to gain feelings for Barty as well.
It all took place on Monday the first day of fifth year. With drunken confessed feelings not being as unrequited as Regulus had originally thought. Turns out Barty has had a crush on Reg since third year and Dorcas and Evan had a bet to see how long it would take them to piece things together.
So Regulus was feeling quite good this morning. To other passing by, you couldn’t notice the scowl he wore permanently on him face. But to his friends it was the little things like how his posture was slightly relaxed and how he would smirk to himself when he would stop paying attention.
That was until;
“Hey Reggie wait up!” a particularly familiar voice called out to him.Regulus reluctantly stopped in his tracks. James Potter. His first love - way to ruin a good day.
“Don’t call me that. What do you want potter?”
“Oh uhh sorry- i was wondering if you wanted to come to a griffendor party later today? I mean Sirius wants you to co-“ James began to say before Regulus interrupted
“ I do not care for your parties let alone what my brother wants he hasnt talked to me for the past years so what does he want to do with me now.”
“Oh ok, sorry- see you later?” James said a hint of hope in his voice for the later part of the statement
“ Piss off Potter” Regulus retorted
The second he get over him, James Potter trys to waltz himself back in.

Well, that could have gone worse right? James thought to himself. Sirius really did want him there but Regulus did have a point. To be honest, James hoped that Regulus would be there as well.
Since he came back from the summer Regulus had a growth spert and is now taller than James. He’s also alot more handsome.Gorgeous. Etheral even. Regulus has always been attractive but now-. Yeah he should probably stop himself there this is Sirius’s brother hes thinking about and besides Regulus and Barty have been a bit too close for James comfort since near the end of fourh year. Anyways, he has a party to go get ready for.
