Chapter 10
Zira's POV
I don't know how many there were, but I couldn't give up. I started to get tired but I couldn't stop the lives of others rely on me. I couldn't let anything happen to them
''Let's go Shadow''
''Show them who's in charge'' I heard Izuki and Katsuki cheering me on
''This is the famous Shadow'' asked someone
''In flesh'' I said focused on the fight.
I saw that there was not much left and I knew they were leaving the strongest for last. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a couple of villains approaching the bound people
'' Night Snow protect'' I called out and my pets got to work. I got Quirk in the side quite hard and lost my balance
'' Shadow/Zira'' Shota and Izuku shouted together. I was grabbed by the hair but used my weight to make a tumble and freed myself from the grasp.
I began to manipulate the ground to shield the people and used fire to push the villains away. I used the air to jump to a high point in the hall to see what kind of situation I was in.
I still had about 10 villains left and decided to use air because it was hard for me to move with this side. When I managed to get past the last ten, I quickly used the ground to tie them all up. After making sure they didn't tank, I went to tie them up again. I stood opposite Izu and took his face in my hands
"Are you all right?" I asked
"Yes, I'm fine. You arrived on time'' he replied and I focused on the chains. I thought as I knocked out the one responsible for them, they would disappear.
I put my hand on them but quickly took them back because I felt as if something had burned me. This scared Izuku a little
'' It's all right Zi. What happened'' he asked, and I looked at my hand and it was red.
" I don't know why, but they burned me,'' I said. I focused my magic on them and after a few seconds they fell off all
'' Don't touch these chains with your bare hands. They are laced with something or enchanted'' I warned the others when they wanted to touch them.
I turned my attention to Izuku but more to his red cheek I focused my magic in my hand and healed him. Izuku immediately snuggled into me and hid his face in my neck. Shota slowly moved closer to me
'' Thank you for your help Shadow. You turned our backs there'' he said professionally but I didn't have that and pulled him into a hug with me and Izuku. At first he stiffened but slowly returned the hugs and we stood like that for a while.
I moved them away from me when I felt people approaching us and I burned for my boys. I saw Nezu and All Might standing behind them,
"Can I help you with something," I asked,
"Could we talk, Ms. Shadow?" asked Nezu and I nodded.
We went to his office and Izuku was still attached to me and gave no sign that he would let me go. It was one of the few occasions when he saw me fighting and it probably scared him because I always have help and I'm not alone in a fight in front of dozens of opponents.
When we got there I felt like I was being interrogated by how Nezu, Shota, All Might, Endever and Hawks
'' Young Midoryia Can you let's go off Shadow? '' asked All Might.
Izuku strengthened his grip on me and I squealed in pain through my side from the caught his attention . I saw his panic and hugged him to me
'' Calm Izu I just have to take the potion and I will be good as new,'' I said pulling out the vial. I took a quick sip and coughed
'' No matter how many times I drink it it still tastes like shit'' I said and turned my attention to the rest. They looked at me surprised
''You wanted to talk to me so talk to me because I have a little girl waiting for the three of us. Yes you too Shota'' I said seeing their confusion when I said three and not two. Nezu cleared his throat
'' Ms. Shadow. Can you pull down your hood'' asked Hawks interjecting Nezy's words. I looked at Izu
'' Tell me Little One do they deserve to know my identity and for them to see what I look like'' I asked and Izuku looked at them. As he nodded and I pulled down my hood revealing my face.
I smiled and everyone blushed a little ''You have questions, ask them,'' I said and began to massage Izuku's head, which was on my shoulder. Nezu nodded,
''Could you tell us your name? How old are you? what is your Quirk? How do you know Izuku?'' asked Nezu and they all focused their attention on me
'' I can tell you this if you promise that it will not be written down anywhere. It is all a secret for a reason and it is to stay that way'' I said and they nodded their heads in agreement. I took a deep breath
'' My name is Zira Nova Eclipse and I am 26 years old. My Quirk is the control of Elements and Summon. I have known Izuku since he was a baby because his mother Inka is my godmother and my guardian since my parents were murdered. For this there is so little about me in the system because the people who attacked on and are responsible for the death of my parents may still be lurking.
My mother and Inko were very good friends so she got guardianship without a problem,'' I said seriously. We spent a few more hours talking when suddenly All Might took a quick breath
'' You are Young Izuku Mentor right? '' he asked and I nodded with a smile. I looked at them
'' It took you quite a long time to realize each other,'' I said with a testing smile. I knew it was time to go home. I said goodbye to everyone and before I left Nezu made me a proposal that I promised to think about.
