Chapter 3
Last day of school before break
Izuku's POV
I sat with my class listening to a lecture by my Sensei Shota Aizawa. He is firm and serious, I know he is like that to see if we are ready for the job.
His Hero name is Eraser Head his Quirk can remove others whenever he looks at them. He is one of the few heroes I admire and are my role models to follow. He is my Number 2 because forever my Number 1 will be my older sister Zira or Shadow as the world knows her.
I know that Sensei and All Might are arguing about who is my mentor because they both train me. I know that the other teachers along with the Principal or U.A.
God and the Demon Rat or known as Nezu are running bets which one is it. If only they knew they were in the shiit in the wrong. I'm looking forward to the break because I can spend two quiet weeks with my mom, Zira and Eri I can't wait.
Thinking of Zira I touched amuled from her that I received for my 9th birthday. No one but me can pull it off or touch it without my permission.
There are four lapis lazuri stones in the amulet, each with a function: to find me no matter where I am and vice versa, to create a protective barrier around me when I am in danger. One to know when I am in trouble and the last I can open the portal where I want to go. I know that she doesn't use it to control me, but so that I have a backup plan and can easily call her for help.
I always keep the amulet hidden under my clothes so no one has seen it until now. I feel safer having it with me and it is in the form of my lucky talisman. I was so deep in my thoughts that Kacchan had to tap me
'' What did you ask'' I asked
'' Where is Eri Izu'' he asked and so does not call me Deku . He called me that for two years until Zira found out.
She is very scary when she is pissed. He stopped the moment Zira talked to him about it and I quickly got my friend back. However, from time to time he calls me that but not to hurt me but more as a joke.
I in return call him Chihuahua or Kitty and it pisses him off. We both know at the end of the day we can always count on each other. I looked at him
'' She is with Zira '' I said
''You don't have to worry about her believe with her Quirk she is safe'' I continued and he nodded. So in confidence I told Katsuki who Zira is in confidence during our 1st year and he keeps the secret. To our unhappiness Mina heard us
'' Who is Zira Izu. Is she your girlfriend'' she asked and the whole class turned their attention to me.
I shook my head '' No Mina she is not my girlfriend. Zira is my older sister, she works in another country for that you have not met her. She came especially for this break to spend time with me. I haven't seen her for six months and we have a lot of catching up to do,'' I said and they nodded their heads.
This is how she uses her first name we have known each other for 3 years and we all call each other by our first names. Except Kacchan because he has his weird nicknames. I don't try to understand him anymore I just accepted him as he is and I wouldn't change him for anything.
I saw that they have a lot of questions but bell called for another lesson. Fortunately, I managed to avoid further conversation until the end of the day with them. On the other hand, the teachers found out that I have a sister and by not having much indormation about Zira they will want to talk to me.
I really don't know what their interest is in whether I have a sibling or not. I knew the conversation was coming and immediately wrote to Zi for advice on what to do.
She wrote me: to tell me that she is adopted, she has a strong Quirk and for that there is little information about her, she has permission to use her power and she is 8 years older than me. If they ask why they didn't know about her I'm supposed to say that it's a family matter and we didn't see any reason to tell anyone about it.
Only the closest people in the family know what kind of Quirk she has and what she does, and for the sake of eggs, it is not written down anywhere what this Quirk is.
I hoped it would satisfy their curiosity and she wouldn't have to come through here. As I suspected I was summoned to the Nezu Cabinet and there I was greeted by Aizawa Sensei, All Might, Yamada Sensei and of course Nezu. I felt a bit like an interrogation
'' Calm down Izuku you have nothing to worry about'' said Nezu and so the Demon Rat has been calling me by name since the beginning of my 2nd year of school. I nodded my head that I understood
'' It came to us that you have an older sister that we didn't know about. When I wanted to check on her nothing came up. Can you please explain it to us or tell us better about her. We are concerned about your and Eri's safety. You understand,'' he said calmly. His last words angered me
'' HOW DARE YOU TALK like that to the person who raised me! THE PERSON WHO CARED FOR ME FROM MY FIRST DAY IN THIS WORLD! SHE DID EVERYTHING TO HAVE A GOOD CHILDHOOD AFTER MY DAD DIED BEFORE I WAS BORN! she defended me from my peers because of my being a late bloomer!'' I shouted at him angry that he could imply such a thing.
After a longer moment, I calmed down and saw that my outburst had taken them by surprise. I'm a calm and mild-mannered student, it's hard to upset me. The only times I get upset are when someone speaks badly about Mom, Eri or Zira. Nezu cleared his throat
'' I apologize for sounding that way Izuku. Little is known about her and I was just worried about you. Can you tell us something about not telling us about her'' he asked a little nervously. I took a deep breath
'' Zira is my older adopted siortra. Zira is 26 years old so she is 8 years older than me. My dad died before I was born in an attack by criminals so you could say she is a bit like a second parent to me. She has a strong Quirk for that is not written in the system for her safety. She has training without it she is a master in mixed martial arts.
She has permission to use her Quirk so she is not breaking the law. You do not know about it for her and ourecho safety. I can go now I want to go to her and Eri '' I said and they nodded that I can go.
I left the room quickly before they said they had more questions for me. I forgot to mention that I had changed my address, but I decided to say so after the break.
I hope they won't come back to this topic and no one will disturb us during our time together. I quickly headed to the platform to catch the express home. I can not wait to see them.
