Note
So I did start this idea around fourteen. Just recently I started posting it. But very recently however I have started to edit it. (Mostly because I finally decided to write out my plot line in varying months so that I'm not skipping over anything. Or all over the place because I can be.)So This story may not be actually published till like two years from now because I know myself and it normally takes me either In the mood writing or Forcefully a paragraph and that generally fucks everything up.

The Train ride to Hogwarts

Harry fell, nearly stumbling as he stood on the bridge that loomed over the people on the platforms below. His vision going blurry for a second but nothing he wasn't accustomed to. It was common to get blurred vision and headaches after Apparating. This is mostly because of how young he was. He shouldn't be Apparating in the first place. People below the age of 16 shouldn't know anything of it let alone know of how to practice it on a daily basis.

His vision became normal in a matter of seconds an he instantly looked to the dog at his side. The sound of bustling people surrounding and passing by them unnoticeable to his ears.

"Now where do I go?" He questioned his voice albeit shakier than normal. Why shouldn't it be? It would be his first year at hogwarts but also his first year away from Sirius. Sirius Barked in the direction he was to be led. He had the letter yes but that wasn't his first thought which always almost led to Sirius telling him where and how to get to a place.

Harry followed behind clueless, stuffing the ticket in pocket and adjusting his glasses for the millionth time that day.

Harry was bound to ask a Man where the platform was in the station he stood in when he heard the term "Muggles" from a group of strange people. He followed after. Forgetting about Sirius in the time as he watched an elder woman pat a tall young man on his back.

"Alright Percy you first." She suggested, as he lined himself up with a trolley in hand. Harry blinked as the boy ran head first into the Pillar between platforms Nine and 10. He went to shout and before he knew it the boy had disappeared.

"Fred you next." The woman announced holding out her arm for the Boy. Harry couldn't see it but he did feel something a bit odd about the two.

"He's not Fred I am!" The boy beside the supposed child named Fred shouted. Harry couldn't see it since he was from behind but he could just see the young boy behind them rolling his eyes.

"Honestly woman you call yourself our mother." He heard a faint tsk as the sound of playful disappointment sounded in his tone. The woman shook her head apologizing as The supposed boy named: "George" did the same as the child before.

"I'm only joking I am Fred." The boy said as he ran to the Pillar before the woman could react His twin, from what harry supposed seeing as how they had gotten their identified confused with the woman, following hot on his trail.

"Excuse me!" Harry shouted pushing his trolley with him. The woman gave a surprised look at the young boy almost thinking that she were caught in the middle of their actions by a muggle. Then her surprised turned into a bright smile as she saw he had a trolley instead of what the Muggles were using to hoister their belongings.

"Could you-" Sirius howled beside him as the trolley of the young red-headed boys beside him rolled over his tail catching the woman off guard. Her hand placed firmly on her chest as it rose and fell quickly in a matter of seconds. Her eyes wide and pupils dialated in fear. She inhaled deeply. Her pupils returning to normal as she inhaled and exhaled shakily to calm her spiked heart rate. Harry could only assumed spiked at the sudden loud noise from the dog. Soon enough her breathing had returned to normal and she stared at the Dog with a warm hearted smile.

Her eyes holding the warmth of something Harry suspposed a mother would. It was the same look as Harry saw in Sirius's eyes. Only Sirius was of opposing gender of course.

A joyist and soothing warmth that Harry would've felt awkward and foreign to if not for knowing a look like that so well.

"Sorry. He's doesn't like when people touch him. You must've ran over his tail. I apologize. I'm a bit new to this whole. Um Magic thing I suppose. Padfoot just helps to guide me more in both aspects of seeing and wizardry. Seeing as how I'm still partially blind even with my glasses." Harry declared adjusting his glasses as his bangs moved with the motion to reveal his scar. It was a gesture that went unnoticed that Harry was rather thankful for. Because he couldn't handle the pressure of being the choosen one right now when he's confused and puzzled on what hes suppose to be doing.

"That's alright dear. But we must hurry and get onto the platform before we miss the train. I take it You'd not fancy staying home another day" Harry gave a confused look as his eyes widened little by little.

"How'd you know?"

"Nobody likes having to await another year's to start learning about Magic young man. Now run along before your late." Harry nodded, giving a smile as he looked at Sirius and started running with full force at the Pillar. For a second he fully expected to just collied with the Pillar and break his glass or nose or even a bone but the thought instantly vanished as he flew through.

His eyes clamped shut as he felt the warmth of magic surround him. A little spark of energy surging through him before it disappeared just as fast as it had happened instantly replaced by the warmth and neverending pulse of Magic that swarmed through the station hidden in Kings cross.

The bark beside him was rather full of excitement and familiarity. Harry could see the spark of happiness of the place. His stomach filling with a sense of safety as he smiled. His eyes crinkled at the ends and his nose twitching.

He pushed his trolley past the groups of people. A boy with a frog that he chased after, That Harry assumed would be a Hufflepuff because of his frantic appologies and nervous smiles. A young girl with kooky hair that sprawled out in every direction, –much like his own— another girl with big bushy hair and an uptight attitude he decided to wholeheartedly ignore. Lastly a boy who seemed almost disgusted to be there reminding him of the books and pictures he saw in the library he used to retire to everyday, that he wouldn't be able to do anymore unless its a hols, Much to his dismay.

Sirius' Bark came from beside his feet, gaining a fair amount of attention Harry wished to avoid at the moment.

Molly had came in right behind them and she was waving her hand for Harry to follow her. Harry went to move before his trolley evaporated. He blinked looking down at his belongings in confusion. He looked down at Sirius who's tail only wagged as he Barked at him.

Harry snorted and shook his head picking up his luggage that fell to the floor with a clatter. He received many unpleasant looks and glares from who he could only assume to be Purebloods or Uptight students-to-be as Sirius and he made their way to the train. Harry huffed as he tried to lift his luggage into the train before it wordlessly lifted from his hands. Harry blinked, looking down at his hands in surprise, wondering exactly how he manged to lift it and if he had accidentally used wordless magic to do so.

His gaze returned to his godfather he assumes to find at his feet only to find Him standing up straight with his wand waving, a smile on his face.

"You–"

"It'll be alright Haz. Im a free man. But We both know I didn't do it. Besides I had to see you off properly." Harry looked back at his hands again a smile imprinting itself onto his face. He heard gasps and whispers and he didn't bother to listen to them. The words that fluttered about and the name of his Godfather sprouting in hushed whispers and disgusted above-normal voices. Sirius is there for him, that's all that matters in the moment. Nothing else, just Harry and Sirius.

Becuase he won't be able to see him again until Christmas. He'll be away from his Godfather for a much longer time than he had prepared for and only now does the realization hit him that He and Sirius will no longer be able to be in contact unless by owl. He won't be able to talk to Sirius on a daily basis or drag him about and sprout to him about the wonderful theories of what would happen in a book he didn't dare to finish because it was rather boring.

Sirius will most likely be lonely in the Manor he's lives in. Just like he was before he had come and saved Harry from a life of pain and possibly death. He and Sirius won't be sharing meals nor will they be celebrating Halloween together. And at that Harry can't help but feel sad. That he won't be there to help Sirius out after a stackload of papers or that Sirius won't be there to calm him and sooth his irritation of the work he was subjected to.

Harry flings himself forward, his arms wrapping around Sirius's stomach firmly and tightly in a hug he doesnt want to break. Harry feels tears well and he laughs for the first time since this Morning. He laughs in disbelief. Not nervousness or awkwardly just shock. Sirius pats his head smoothing down the hairs that stick out stubbornly in different directions. He kisses the young potters head before inhaling deeply and staring down at him. Harry stubbornly won't let go and continues to cry.

His arms don't loosen and they don't move. Sirius knows why and he himself can't help but chuckle at it. So he wraps his Arms tightly around Harry and curls downward to try and hug him properly. Harrys laugh turns to a sadden one, it's fainter and muffled because Harry has his face stuffed in The animagus' shirt. His grip is tightening and Sirius huffs sharply at the grip and sharp pain that flings through his stomach because of the small arms wrapped around him.

"I don't want to leave you." Harry mutters, His voice muffled because (as stubbornly as his arms are wrapped around Sirius stomach) his forehead is pressed into his shirt. Sirius laughs.

"You really don't want to go?" Sirius asks siriusly (Haha), looking down at Harry and scanning him for an answer. He already knows what Harry wants. He just wants to go to Hogwarts. Just like his family had and Sirius had.

"Youll write to me right?" Harry questions, crinkling the shirt that wraps loosely around sirius in his fingers. His tears drying as he looks up and gives a smile to the older male he clings to.

" 'course." Sirius states and Harry nods. Putting his face back into his elders his shirt messily wiped his face to which Sirius nearly shoves him off and glares at him for. Harry laughs backing away and removing his arms, his sleeve wiping his nose that's red and rosy from the crying and his face being pressed into a ruffled shirt. He nods looking at the train beside him amd inhales deeply.

"Hello Harry." A girl greats nicely and Harrys head whips up and around to the direction of the young girl who taught him to read. He smiles brightly forgetting about all his worries and starting to chat up the lovely young girl.

"You're coming to hogwarts too?" He questions excitedly as Luna nods. Harry instantly starts to drag her away up the steps and Luna all but smiles and nods to Sirius who mouths a lovely "Thank you" before waving at Harry as the train horn sounds. He takes a step back as Harry plops down in an empty seat, waving at his Godfather through the window as the train starts to sound. The few remaining to be students boarding the train as they say their good byes.

Luna smiles at him delicately as she turns to open the window, her sight searches for her own companion that brought her and she smiles and waves at her father. Harry waves enthusiastically his sleeve swaying back in forth as the sounds of sad and happy parent and children sound. The shouts of goodbye and reassuring cheers from both groups.

Harrys stomach flips at it. He's leaving. To hogwarts. He turns back to his own guardian only to not see him anymore but the little black dog fumbling through crowds of people. His hands cup around his mouth.

"Bye Padfoot!" He shouts and he Hear the faint sound of an aggressive bark that has no meaning being returned to him. He laughs as the train starts moving and he falls back into his seat, no longer standing as Luna closes the window.

"What did he say?" Luna asks, her voice sounding so soft and delicate That Harry can't help but calm at it. He loves her voice its a very pretty one he's grown accustom to. To be honest he'd probably be worried if he didn't hear it at least once a week since that's when Luna would ever be allowed to visit or see him due to her own studies.

Luna's been his friend ever since Sirius had removed him from the Cupboard five years ago and ever since he has been greatful for both her and Sirius.

"Nothing. He just says stay safe and don't call him that only when he's a dog." Harry chuckles and Luna hums.

"Oh." Her gaze flows to the window and Harry admires her for a moment. Her hair is a beautiful shade of blonde that compliments her skin and twinkles everytime the sun hits it. Her skin pale but not sickenly so, and so bubbly its soft, that it makes her look like a fragile doll and Harry wonders how she hadn't broken to pieces when he dragged her up those stairs. Her features are rather albeit round and her hair waves and cuts at her shoulder blades.

He smiles before the door slides open and His gaze turned from her to the person standing there. He blinks in surprise when he sees the bushy haired girl that had a rather Uptight personality just from looks. She gives a wary look to Luna in front of him before returning to face Harry.

"Pardon. Mind if I sit. All the others are full." Harry nods before turning back to Luna.

"Is that alright."

"You don't need my permission. Harry." Harry blushes in embrassment before giving and awkward smile to her.

"Er right. Go ahead then." Harry announces gestering to the seat in front of him beside Luna. The girl gives a slightly perplexed look to the Blonde in the room. Her mouth opening to speak before it snaps shut at the sound of a rather high pitched voice and she slips inside without word. Her robes falling gracefully into her lap as she sits beside Luna. Scooting as far as she can as discreet as possible.

Harry takes notice of How many times she glances back at Luna in discomfort and shifts in her seat. His brow raises and as bluntly as he probably shouldn't have he asks:

"Is there something wrong?" Her gaze flickers to Luna beside her before Harry glances between the two.

"Do you know her?" Harry asks to almost nobody in particular as the girls sigh.

"No sorry. I just never expected to be in the same cabin (huh?) as a lovegood." Harry raises a brow looking skeptically at the girl.

" Why is that? Is there something wrong with Luna?" He asks with a little bit of force. The girl once again flicks her gaze to Luna before shaking her head.

"No problem just the lovegoods aren't very well known for being... Normal." She states as softly and quietly as she could to not anger the boy who seems rather defensive of Luna. Harry snorts.

"None of use are normal. What's your name?" Harry asks cheerfully.

"Hermione. Granger." She states.

"I'm Harry. Uhm. Harry Potter." He states trying to avoid the possible uproar at the sound of his name. She blinks before humming.

"I never actually expected to meet you. It's nice. Meeting with the boy who defeated you-know-who. " Harry nods with a tight lipped smile.

He doesn't give anything else on the subject instead changing it quickly as to avoid any questions on him as the Savior of the wizarding world.

"So are you a pureblood?" Harry asks rather quickly as she gives a bewildered look and clears her throat awkwardly patting down her robes.

"No. I'm actually a muggle-born." She announces with her brows furrowed as she looks down at her knees. Harry hums.

"Is it a tough topic? You look a bit irritated?" Hermione shakes her head looking back up at him. Her body still stiff and unmoving in most actions she takes.

"No sorry. You asked rather abruptly I wasn't expecting it."

"Yeah I get that. My Godfather says that to." Hermione hums in acknowledgment. Her posture loosening just slightly as they continue to talk.

"Yes I saw. Sirius Black. Not very well liked for his betrayal to the Potter family and wizarding world." At that Harry couldn't help but be angered. He proved his innocence what more do they want? Sirius was framed and he proved so. So why couldn't anybody understand that he did nothing wrong. He wasn't a bad person just framed and broken in a way. He was about to shout at her, To tell her Sirius wasn't a bad person but suddenly Luna interrupted by speaking up.

"The weather looks quite wonderful today." She announced glancing at Harry –who if he could— had steam coming out of his ears. Harrys anger slowly faded the more Luna stared at him, returning to just barely bubbling under the surface of Dark skin. He was nice, yes, but Luna knows that anyone who talks bad of those he loves he wouldn't care to lash out on. And Sirius is one of very few he truly cares about. He cares about everyone of course but Sirius is a person he loves.

She only found this out after her father accidently Saying something rude about Sirius and Harry shouted at him for it. Luna didn't know what type of effect she had on Harry but anytime he'd be angered and she was near she'd place her hand on his in order to calm and sooth him in a way or she'd hum and try to talk to him calmly. She wasn't known for raising her temper, Luna wasn't known for being enraged either. She was known —To Harry– for being a calm and collected young girl who never lost her temper.

It never mattered the situation Luna was always collected and calm, she never expressed Hatred nor had she shouted or raised her voice and that almost always made Harry assume she was most definitely a doll at time because how could she keep her composure all the time even in terrible situations. Well. Hold on he'd never actually seen her in any really horrible situations but he can almost guarantee her to be as cool as the breeze in the situation and as moody as. Well Luna could be.

Their conversation picks up after a moment of silence. Over the time it ranges on many different Topics. From Their favorite subject in Wizardry to random things that float about. Eventually Luna joined in on a topic of Mythical creatures. where she and Hermione had a mild argument on if Wrackspurts exsist before Harry changed the topic as to evade any physical arguments and encounters. Though in between the start of the topic and the end of an argument Harry had changed from his robes to the ones he was required to wear.

It felt like hours on the train before the horn shrieked rather feircly. The sky had dimmed and it had turned dark just moment before they arrived. Hermione had gotten more comfortable to the two. Her posture becoming more slumped and her voice sounding less forced and more accustom when she talked. Though she was still Wary of Luna, yet not as much as she was before.

"We're here." Luna hummed softly a small smile on her face as she stood. Hermione smiled and nodded her head, standing up and walking out with the wacky girl as her hair bounced around. Harry laughed as he stretched his legs and chased after the two girls.

He nearly trampled and fell to the floor getting off the train with the bustling students, not to mention how dark it was he could barely see. Once finding Luna who was conversing with Hermione, who was looking for him, he latched his arm around Lunas so he wouldn't fall or lose sight of the two who had their arms intertwined.

"First ye'rs This way Please!" A man shouted and Harrys eyes scanned over the crowd curiously. The man was off to the side. He was rather huge for a man, a stuffy beard that reached above his gut of a stomach and a lantern in hand that shook with the shoulder of his gruff voice. His hair was as Bushys as Hermiones just shorter than hers and less curly just barely.

Harry smiled at him crookedly before feeling the force of Luna stalking forward with Hermione. He huffed trudging through the crowd with the two girls to the boats the man shouted about as he led the group of first years. Their arms untangled as they separated into a boat. Harry had grabbed an lantern as instructed so that they could be able to guide their way through the dark, murky waters.

The boat rocked as they stepped in and sat down Harry had wondered how they were to get the their destination before the boat started to float in the direction after everyone boarded. A bright smile appeared on his face as he looked over the side of the small boat. He noticed how they were the only group of three amongst the boats but said nothing. His eyes were glued to the water and boat as the two girls hummed and watched the castle like structure appear bigger as they got closer.

After a few minutes which couldn't have been no more then five The boat came to a slow hault and the Two young girls stepped out Harry following behind because he was holding the lantern at the back of the small wooden boat. The man led them through the grounds of hogwarts, which Harry was fairly certain —if not for Magic— it would fall off the edge of the cliff which looked to be caving in underneath the structure of the building.

The man, Hagrid, Harry had learned did not continue inside instead he had them all go in the same direction towards Hogwarts before he stocked off to who knows where.

"That seems unprofessional letting a crowd of kids go into a building unsupervised." Hermione huffed annoyed and crossed her arms as she trudged up the steps and Harry shrugged as he stared at the steps to not fall or miss one.

"They might have a professor inside the school to continue leading us." Luna suggested as her arms swayed and she glanced over at Harry with a funny twinkle in her eye. Hermione huffed again but she stopped talking as the group of students haulted at the top of the stairs they were going up as a professor stood their awaiting their arrival.

"Welcome to Hogwarts students. I'm professor McGonagall." She announced loudly as her hands clasped together. Harry glanced over at the other children that stood beside him, Hermione and Luna. A striking blonde who Harry thought looked strongly familiar. A bright red haired boy whom Harry met earlier with Molly and Sirius back at Kings cross. The boy who had been looking for his frog was a half foot behind them with the frog in hand and looking around anxiously. Harry snorted at it.

"Now in a few moments you will pass through the doors and join your housemates but before you can take your seats you must be sorted into one of four houses by partaking in the sorting ceremony given once every year souly for first years. " She stated with a smile as her hat sunk lower on her head, the tip flopping as she moved. There were murmurs and chatter starting before it quieted down at the announcement.

"They are Gryffindor." She started her voice echoing as she clasped her hand over her opposing wrist. "Hufflepuff. Ravenclaw. And Slytherin." She stated firmly with each house. Those the last was said with a bit of disdain; Harry was almost certain of it. He was good on picking up peoples emotions even if he was young. He likes to think of it as a trait he received from the Dursleys when he was very young.

"Now while your here" She started yet again pausing through her words. "Your house will be like your family. Any good doings will earn you points. Any inacceptable behaviors and you will lose points." As she paused Harry could hear croaking from the frog in the young boys hands.

"The house with the most points is awarded house cup by the final of the year. It is a great honor winning house cup. Now you'll wait here a moment longer. The ceremony will being rather shortly. " She had finished, turned and left behind the gated doors with her heels clicking behind her. The students started to converse again as Harry went to turn to Hermione before he was stopped by the boy with a frog.

"Trevor!" The young boy had lightly pushed past the group of three as the students surrounding them started to laugh. Some only stared at him pointedly with a bit of disappointment for what Harry supposed was the improper containment of the animal he had chosen. The boy gave a nervous smile before returning behind the group, giving apologetic looks after scooping up his frog.

"It is true." Harry blinked looking back at the boy with a bit of squinted eyes, only he realized that it wasn't the boy with the frog but the boy with the bleached white hair he'd seen earlier that evening. "That he's come to hogwarts." He announced loudly pushing past two boys that reminded Harry of a barely remembered version of a young dudley. Both chubby and short. If they were anything like they looked Harry assumed they were just a volatile as Young dursley was; maybe worse due to age.

"My. It is Harry potter." The blonde boy had gasped, his lips tugging into a smirk as he cocked his head. He checked over Harry as if he were searching for something. Then his eyes landed on the shabby mess of his hair and the boy eyes fell back on his own. Silvery-gray staring at Emerald-green.

"This is crabbe." The boy started, pointing his chin in one of the two chubby boy's direction. "and Goyle. And I'm Malfoy." He finished and suddenly it clicked as to why the boy looked familiar to the photos and books he saw back home. It was because of Family trees.

He remembers seeing multiple but one that stood out was the relation to the black family. Narcissa Neé Black, who Harry was reminded was Sirius's sister, Had married to a tall strikingly blonde man Named Lucius Malfoy. And the child was no doubt his.

"Draco Malfoy." He introduced with and air of confidence and superiority as he stood in front of Harry. There was a snort beside then and his smirk turned into a scowl as The blonde, Draco, faced the red haired boy from before. Harry looked at him to, he had freckles and a his face was scrunched up in a slightly strange way that matched the crook in his robes.

"Is my name funny to you?" He scowled glaring and Harry found himself slightly captivated by it. The unbridled fire in his eyes and the slight shimmer of his pearly white teeth. Even —strange as it sounded to him— The way his hair stuck to his head, not a single hair out of place even when he'd shished around.

"No need to ask yours. Your robes are worse for wear than the unkempt red hair on your head." He hissed. "You're a Weasely." He concluded returning back to his superior stance as he straightened up with the cock of his brow as if threatening the boy to tell him no. Most definitely Lucius Malfoys child, Harry decided.

Then Harrys brain clicked again as He glanced at the Weasley. He read about them once. The "blood-traitors" of the sacred Twenty-Eight. Their known for getting involved with muggles and turning on tradition of Pureblood society. The Malfoys are also Part of the Sacred Twenty-eight, they as well as the Black's which Harry had learned from his rather old shabby textbooks in the desk at home, taught to him by The library he was thankful for.

Draco turned back to face him and Harry hummed as he glanced back at Luna who was looking around and Hermione who was glaring at the boy.

"You'll fine out soon that some old wizarding families are better than others Potter." And Harry scrunched his nose at that, the sound of his name, it brought him disdain and disgust.

"You don't want to go making friends with traitors." The boy scowled in the weaselys direction. Ah so he also must have a book or two on the sacred Twenty-Eight as well. He stretched his hand for Harry to take. Harry glanced at it then glanced at the Weasley beside him then to Hermione and then back at Draco.

"No thank you." The boy looked at him bewildered as if not having been expected to have been rejected.

"Your a Malfoy. From what I've read Malfoys are prestige Purebloods who despise both Halfblood and as I recall you call them Mudbloods." Harry could see Hermione flinching and a few others behind him. He supposes he shoulsnt throw it around so carelessly. "Why would you want to be friends with someone who is one of those things." Draco gave a bewildered look pulling his hand back as he went to stutter out a reason.

"I–Well–Your Harry Potter. you saved the world. Anybody who knows that would be stupid to not befriended you." Harry nodded.

"Yes but you." Harry startes gesturing to Draco. "Are a Pureblood who despises Muggle‐borns and Halfbloods. So because I am Harry Potter that subject does not matter?" Harry questioned as Draco looked between bewildered an irritated, his brows furrowed together as Harry all but stared at it amused, but before Draco could say anything the professor before returned and announced her presence with a cough. Draco turned around facing her before returning to the side of Crabbe and Goyle, glaring at Harry and the Weasley on his way answer knocking elbows with the red haired boy.

The professor inhaled deeply before taking a quick glance through the scroll she had in hand.

"Come with me." She instructed loudly before turning and leading the way through the two gated doors. Harry followed after her with Hermione and Luna still at his sides.

"You've read about the Malfoys?" Hermione asked perplexed as her brows furrowed and she leaned towards Harry. Harry nodded.

"My Godfather has a massive Library which I reside to every day. I've read alot of the old books about purebloods and he taught me of the Families tied to his own. The Malfoys are rather ruthless with their ways as are most Purebloods. But the Weasleys. Their known as "blood-traitors" for dismissing the pureblood ways and interacting with Muggles." Harry announced and Hermione stopped for a second grabbing his arm as the crowd pushed past them. She looked at him, scanning him to see if he was joking or not.

"Your much smarter than I thought you were." She announced starting to walk again as she made her way through the crowd to catch back up ith Luna. Harry didn't know wether it was offensive or not so he shook it off and followed Hermione.

"Er. Thanks?" Hermione glanced back at him still a bit perplexed that he knew so much. They finally came to a hault infront of two huge doors that seemed much bigger than they were supposed to be, but Harry expected no less. This is Hogwarts after all.

The professor pushed the two doors open and they were instantly hit with candlelight and Chatter which quickly died out as they entered. The tables weren't so far apart possibly about five feet apart from what Harry suspected. They walked side by side in groups of three or less, as that was all that was allowed before people started bumping into older students. Harry glanced up at the ceiling, a smile on his face as Hermione talked to Luna.

"It's not real the ceiling. It's bewitched to look like the night sky." She stated as Harry gave a breathless laugh and shook his head before they reached dthe ends of the table where a hat resided on a stood atop the risers that lead to what Harry assumed to be the other professors as they all were separated from the others.

They all gathered at the bottom while the professor continued to the top till she stood beside the stool.

"Now before we begin Professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words." She announced crossing her hands and stepping to the side so they could see a man with rectangular glasses and a very long white-silver beard stand up. His eyes a soft blue Harry thought stared souly at him for the duration of the first five second before he looked away.

Harry almost instantly zoned out when he spotted a professor with a purple bondage around his head. Another professor beside him staring directly at harry with cold dark eyes. His scar started to burn and he winced as he lifted his hand to touch it before he was elbowed by a slightly irritated Hermione. He winced instantly dropping his hand and guarding his side as she glared at him sideways. Harry looked at her bewildered as to why she just elbowed him.

"Pay attention." Harry turned back forward as the headmaster finished his announcement.

"—Thank you." Harry blinked before leaning over to talk to Hermione.

"What'd he say?" She huffed rolling her eyes and leaning back.

"The third floor on the right side is strictly forbidden and so is the forbidden forest." She stated and Harry nodded in understanding. The professor unrolled the Parchment in her hands before clearing her throat.

"When I call your name. You will come forth. I shall place the sorting hat on your head. And you will be sorted into your houses." She announced and lifted the ratted hat by the tip of its head. She glanced back down at the Parchment in hands before announcing a name.

"Hermione Granger." Harry saw out of the corner of his eye Hermione sigh in embarasment at being the first name.

"You got this." Harry whispered enthusiastically patting her back as Hermione nodded and started up the risers. The professor placed the hat lightly on her head before it started to move and talk, he could faintly see Hermione flinch at it. He hadn't realized he had been so focused on her expression and reaction to it until he heard cheering and saw Hermione smile brightly.

Harry cheer in celebration to for whatever it was and watched as Hermione made her way to a table she was directed to by the professor with the Parchment.

"Hanna Abbott" Harry glanced around as a girl took seat at the stool. Harry faintly heard the shout of Hufflepuff as he continued to glance around at future classmates. There was the frog boy. He had freckles and flat short dirty hair nearly in a Bob. Another girl she looked a little like an Indian girl, her hair pulled up into a full ponytail. There was a dark-skinned boy with curly hair that fell to his shoulders and he kept shouldering another dark skinned boy. Both looked to be cousins or at least familiar with the small smiles they held when shoving each other.

"Draco Malfoy." She announced again as Harrys eyes flew over the crowd to the blonde who made his way to the risers. He gave a light smile at him as the hat slowly went to sit on his head. Though it hadn't even touched the tip of his hair before Slytherin was shouted.

Harry didn't cheer but his smile slowly faded at the words coming from the red head beside him muttering to another student.

"There wasn't a single witch or wizard in Slytherin that hasn't gone bad." Harrys brows furrowed. That's almost certainly a lie. He's sure he's read about many wizards that had become great wizards in Slytherin. But couldn't be bothered to acknowledge it because the next name that shouted was Ronald Weasley and the red haired boy gulped as the boy beside him patted him firmly on the back in encouragement.

Harry snorted at it as the boy sat on the stood and the hat fell on his head. He flinched as the hat spoke. His posture tense and stiff.

"Another Weasley, I know just what to do with you." He shouted before the boy relaxed and slumped his shoulders at the sound of his house being called.

"Gryffindor!" The hat shouted then was lifted up and the next student was called. It went on until nearly half of them were gone. A young girl named Susan bones had gotten Hufflepuff, she was the only other person Harry paid attention to in the whole thing.

Luna had, not so surprisingly, gotten Ravenclaw. Harry was absolutely positive she was going to get it. She was very smart as much as she was strange. He glared at nearly everyone who called her loony due to the lovegood name.

"Harry potter" She shouted again, lifting the hat up higher before he swallowed nervously and started up the risers. He noticed how more people paid attention to him than everyone else and he couldn't help but feel bothered by it. Some professors straightened up more at his name and Dumbledore had leaned over the table he was at to pay more attention.

He didn't like this. It was special treatment basically. All because he had survived an unforgivable. He wasn't anymore special than everyone else was. His happiness from previously before deflated in a matter of seconds at the amount of eyes on him.

"Don't like attention Harry?" The hat questioned and Harry just stayed still he stared forward a tired look on his face. Though nobody heard him actually speak he voiced his thoughts to the hat fairly quietly without speaking.

"Ah I see. Well Very courageous, Plenty of talent, a rather great mind, and a thirst to prove yourself as something other than a name. You take after your godfather well." Harry beamed at the mention of Sirius as he straightened up and smiled.

"Where was he placed?" Harry asks bravely, ignoring the looks he received from others. He can see flashes of bewilderment. Angry scowls. Hysterical pale stricken faces. Horror and excitemebt in others eyes but hope and enjoyment with an overwhelming amount of curiosity. "Gryffindor I suppose but you. Well where would we put you?" The hat questions as Harry decided that Gryffindor is where he wants to be placed.

"Your Father was an ambitious young man, your mother an Intelligent young woman, would've done better in Ravenclaw. Is that where we should put you Mr.Potter?" It questions and without hesitation Harry answers with an immediate Yes. He knows nothing of his parents only story's and fairytale that Sirius has told him per request.

"Very well then, Your a very difficult decision Mr.Potter" The hat announces as a minute and a half goes by with their conversation. Another minute passes by in silence as the hat makes its way through Harrys memories and comes to its decision.

"Very well. RAVENCLAW!" It shouts and Harry smiles and stands. He is a bit disappointed when he hears the house name he was given but still smiles as he sees both of his friends sitting at the raven claw table. He notices Dumbledore looks confused by the decision but he doesn't seem to voice his opinion when he sits down and looks up at the risers.

"Harry. This is Padma Patil and Terry Boot." Hermione introduces, gesturing to a young boy with dark hair and another girl with long hair as Harry smiles and nods. He recognizes them as the young Indian girl Harry had seen and the strangely eagered young boy.

"Hello." He says rather weakly as he huffs and blinks, still surprised with the hats choice of placement. Hermione goes back to listening to the sorting ceremony as the Chat with Harry.

"I never expected Harry Potter to be a ravenclaw." Terry boot speaks, rather bewildered by the hats placement as well.

"I expected him to be a Gryiffindor or at the worst a Slytherin due to his strive to prove himself, as the hat said." Terry nods beside her as Padma patil clasps her hands together over the table.

"I honestly have no clue as to why either. I fully expected to be sorted into Gryffindor like my Parents and Sirius." Harry announces rather confused and with a short lived laugh. Terry hums glancing at Padma before nodding in union with her and turning their gazes to Harry.

"You Mean Black don't you? I heard he betrayed your parents?" Harry felt his blood bubbling though seeing as how the last time he almost ripped off Hermiones nails he decided not to shout. Luna placed her hand gently over his own and smiled.

"Yes I know. But haven't you heard of his trial? He has long since proven himself innocent." Harry suggests as Lunas hand stays placed over his while she returns to listening to the finishing Sorting of the houses.

"No I hadn't heard of that. But He could've faked his innocence."

"He raised me and I don't think a follower of Lord Voldemort would like to care for his downfall would they? Also Doesn't every follower of Voldemort have a dark mark. Ive been living with Sirius for five years of my life and I can confirm he doesn't have one at all. " Harry states as he inhales sharply to stop himself from overloading his emotions. He feels Lunas hand grip his own but her gaze doesn't turn from the risers.

The other two as well as other students are staring at Harry in surprise for actually using the Dark lords name.

A few of them, from where Harry can see, blanch at the use of the mans name. A couple from behind him, when Harry looked at the last few remaining unsorted students, look visibly ill and sickly green.

"He could've been hiding his mark you know? Death eaters are very sneaky and cunning as are —"

"Pardon me. But if we could not have this discussion right now please. Hearing you-know-whos name is making me uneasy and I'm going to lose my appetite." Another interrupts waving their hand to the two who are currently arguing with Harry. The two nod as they are also rather queasy with the name of "Voldemort" instead of "You-know-who" or at the very least "The Dark Lord". Harry inhales deeply still clenching Lunas hand subconsciously as he turns to the risers.

There's a warmth —surprising with how cold it is— that comes from holding the girls hand and a soothing feeling as well. Harry inhales again once more deeply to steady his irritation before turning to the risers that Dumbledore speaks on. Just as he turns to face him though Harry realizes he's being stared at and returns to looking back at the table and silver plate with interest. The grip on his hand loosens and he glances at Luna who turns around on her bench to face the table as there's a pulse of Magic that swarms through the place.

It's similar to the pulse he felt when entering Hogwarts with the two girls. Hogwarts has this warmth feeling to it that relates much to what he feels from Sirius. Almost fatherly love or love given by parent. Even though Sirius technically is only his Godfather.

"Are you eating Harry?" Luna asks as she pokes him with her fork. Harry blinks looking at the food before nodding and smiling. There's chatter almost instantly and Harry hears his name mentioned more than once in a conversation. He feels eyes boring into his head and unwanted attention on him at every second. It makes him uneasy and embarrassedly anxious. He pokes at his food while zoning out the conversations that surround him.

His thoughts wondering to Sirius and his home. He wonders what Sirius is doing and how he's handling things. It has only been a couple hours but Harry worries. He's never been so far away from Sirius before and this will be the first time he's gone so far for so long. He feels something press against his leg and his head instantly snaps down to see what it is.

He hums when he just sees another leg and goes back to picking at his food aimlessly. He huffs before taking a bite of the food he piled on his plate. He hummed in satisfaction, tastes better than what Sirius cooked for him on his 7th birthday. He snorts at the Memory.

Sirius had decided to bake a cake instead of having the elves do it and nearly burned the house down as well as ruined what dinner the elves had made. It had been Harrys first birthday with someone who hadnt treated him as —and pardon his language— a houself and no good servent. (Although they are treated as equals in the black -potter household.) Sirius wanted to do something special for Harry after hearing he hadn't ever a birthday before.  Harry chuckles as he uses one hand to cover his mouth and the other to continue eating.

"Luna I really don't belive Wrackspurts exist." Harry blinks listening in on the conversation between Luna and Hermione.

"They do. You just can't see them because their invisible. But you can feel their presence." Luna announces stubbornly as her brows slightly furrow in concentration. Harry smiles at it.

"No Luna. There's no knowledge on Wrackspurts or the presences of the invisible creature's for that matter so How do they exist if we have nothing on them?" Hermione asks just as stubbornly and Harry decided to let this play out a moment more before intervening.

"There's no knowledge because people don't belive in them. Nobody believes me about Wrackspurts." She says with a huff almost pouting if not for the fact she still looks as natural as ever.

"How come everything else visible to the naked eye exsist? You belive in Trolls and Phoenix's, So why not Wrackspurts."

"Because Wrackspurts don't exsist!"

"Hermione have you ever actually seen a Phoenix or troll?" Harry cuts in, raising his brow suspiciously. Hermione gives a begrudged Sputter.

"Well–I–No but—" Harry hold up his hand nodding as the others look at him and await his answer. Nobody really believes Harry is as smart as a Ravenclaw and people are eagered to find out why exactly he is here.

"You haven't seen them so how do you know they exsist?" Harry questions his brows raising as he questions her. "Luna has knowledge on Wrackspurts so why doesn't her knowledge also count as Accurate knowledge? Is it because it's not in a textbook? All knowledge is accurate knowledge until proven to be untruthful and inaccurate. So there for Lunas argument on wrackspurts is not in fact useless but it is in fact informative. You should listen to her more. It might help since she knows of things other don't. " Harry announces with a smile as Luna looks at him with her own and Nods.

The others look one of two things. There's a group of Ravenclaws that are amazed by his answer and there's another group that looks absolutely perplexed with his logic.

"But Harry Thats—"

"True is it not?" Harry tries, giving her a pointed look with a brow raised in superiority and Hermione scans him before giving up and nodding.

"Yes I suppose your right. Wrackspurts could exsist." She announces with a defeated sigh and goes back to eating. Harry nods with a victorious smile. He hears his name again and ignores it as he Converses with Luna about Wrackspurts for the rest of the evening.

"First years please." Their prefect, Penelope Clearwater, shouts as she waves her arms to gain attention of the younger first years. Harry has been happily following their prefect since dinner was dismissed, pulling Luna and Hermione along with him the entire time. He has yet to see their common room and he has been happily waiting since.

He's rather excited to explore the place tomorrow but for now he just wants to see the ravenclaw tower. He's read about the common room in "Hogwarts: A history" and Ravenclaw by far has to be his favorite. He had just never expected to actually see it because he as well as many others, fully expected for Harry "The Savior" Potter to be in Gryffindor.

Just as his parents had and their parents before them.

James Potter, Lily Evan's Potter, Euphemia Potter, Fleaumont Potter.

Every one sorted into Gryffindor and here he was a Ravenclaw. The irony of the situation would have him laughing to tears if not for the amount of Joy he felt coursing through his veins at the current moment. Hermione pulls his arm as they trudge up the spiral staircase on the western side of the castle. Their prefect waves her arms again as the remaining First years that are trudging behind rush to catch up with the group.

Harry laughs as they come to a hault when Penelope stops flailing her arms and turns around as they come head on with a big oak door with a knocker in the middle. Harrys brows furrow in confusion as his tired but still so wide awake gaze flicks through the students. The knocker suddenly shifts, it's metal curve morphing into a split curve.

"The blood of my being can extend the life of any lost living thing. What am I?"

"A unicorn." Penelope answers enthusiastically, bouncing on the balls of her feet as the knocker swings twice, hitting the oak door with two loud strums.

"Very good." It answers and the door shifts open, Penelope pushes back a few students who are in the risk of being harmed by the opening door.

"Right. In you go." Penolope shouts, holding up one hand to her mouth as she ushers students inside. There aren't many around ten or fifteen but still with the small space they're given she has to wait for everyone to move inside before she proceeds with her tasks.

Once everyone's inside the door shuts with a loud bang behind them and Harrys left gasping with Hermione as they examine the common room of the Ravenclaw tower. It's a circular space, the walls lined up with a cream white colored bricks. There are portraits that hang. one, unlike the others they had passed moment ago, goes unmoving. It's a portrait of the founder. Rowen Ravenclaw, Harry only knows from both the floating name inscribed on the golden plate beneath and the photo itself. He's seen it once in the book : "Hogwarts: A history." .

There are dark blue curtains drawn, all but one that leads to the Balcony just outside that could hold almost all the students that are currently residing in the common room except maybe one of two. The ceiling is casted to make it look like stars reside on it, theirs a shelf of book that resides in front of the door in between two of the glass windows the lead to outside. It's rather dark all except the candle light that resides in the middle of the room and the moonlight from the one open curtain.

There's tables which Harry mostly likely suppose is for studying and theres a spiral staircase in the middle that Harrys confused on where it leads. Penelope stop for nothing only continuing on after humming to herself.

"Very well. Follow me." She shouts grabbing the candlelight that floats and holding the tray it sits apon as she starts down the spiral staircase.

" Since you are all Ravenclaw we have rules you must abide by. Every Friday we sit in the Libraries and study. This may seem as a shocker but the Slytherins do accompany us once every month. Do not be surprised or shocked if you see someone of the opposing house in our common rooms. We tend to study here on different days that are not Fridays." She announces as they stop and she opens a door.

"Third years and up have their own dormitories, this is mostly due to both privacy and the fact that we tend to have less students than most other houses. The dormitories will be seperates by gender from first to seventh year so do not worry about being intruded on by a girl or a boy students. Though I can assume most of you care for privacy." She asks skeptically as she stops at the end of the hall and turns around. She highers the candlelight as they watch it flicker.

She holds it there for a moment in silence before the candle light sets a flame down the path and multiple floating candlelights set a flame. The students watch in amazement and Harry squeezes Hermiones arm as they glance at each other. Penelope huffs removing the candle from the ceiling and smiling.

"Boys your dormitory." She announces pleasantly before the door swings open and the group Seperates.

"Your belongings are placed beside your beds, this is where you'll reside for years first through third now ladies if you would follow me please I've got your dormitories to show you." Hermione gives a disappointed noise as Harry let's go of her arm.

"See you tomorrow then Harry." Luna announces softly, swiping her hand over his shoulder before smiling and Harry nods.

"You as well Luna. And Hermione." He smiles before waving at the two goodbye. Terry suddenly leans on his shoulder as he watches the girls walk away.

"Bit of a shame really. But honestly I'm fairly happy with the arrangements. Come see the dorms Harry. They're wicked." He says ecstatic as Harry follows behind. He's not surprised to find four Poster beds lined against the wall or his belongings sitting beside rather the decor.

There's a chandelier in the the middle gliding and sparkling at the light from the windows bounce off of it. And the curtains that cast over their Beds are a deep shade of blue that almost looks purple. He snorts at it then takes notice of the rug on the floor, the constellations line the circular rug and he smiles at the familiar stars and Constellations on it.

Harry hummed searching the stars for his favorite. When Harry doesn't find the one he wants he frowns moving to head to bed before the rugs stars move. Harry surrenders a surprised grunt as he scans the stars again. Once again not finding anything before he recognizes the Pattern in which he's seeing them. Harry circles the rug for a second before stopping on the southern side and smiling.

Across from the southern sky is the Northern Hemisphere where His godfathers star resides in the Canis Major.

"Hey Harry, What 're you doin'?" Terry questions dropping his hand onto Harry shoulder before Harry points at the star on the rug.

"The dog star." He announces and Terry nods before retiring to his bed Harry followed after ra couple of seconds. The boys already asleep from exhaustion of the work that the day brought when he finally started to bed. Harry hummed, setting his glasses to the side and rubbing his eyes before slowly drifting off to sleep with everyone else.
