The Death Eaters are warriors, loyalists, crazy people, and many more. But their most shining quality is "keeping secrets". If you don’t know who the new blood traitor is, ask this death eater. If you want to know the latest gossip in high society, ask her. Want to know some dark secrets? Well, tell this elf to do this. Baseline: the truth will always come out.
But there is one thing everyone in Malfoy Manor knows but never speaks about: It’s about the "secret" affair Bellatrix Lestrange is having with the dark lord. It’s not even a secret anymore because even the lower-ranked death eaters know, the elves know, the Malfoys know, and Rodolphus Lestrange, her husband, knows about the affair. They’re all just turning a blind eye and keeping their mouths shut because who in their right mind would say, "Bellatrix and the Dark Lord are doing the devil's tango?"
When the Death Eaters start to notice Bellatrix and Narcissa being missing even in meetings, Bellatrix's sudden eating habits and her sudden interest in rubbing her "flat" stomach every 5 minutes They all knew Bellatrix was pregnant, and without a doubt, it was the dark lord's child. With this new information, they started to give Rodolphus small smiles that said "I’m sorry" or "that sucks dolph" in the hallways.
Months later, Bellatrix disappears without a single trace of how she disappeared, but they just ignored it. They all know "Bellatrix Lestrange" is close to giving birth; heck, she probably might be giving birth right now.
Once Bellatrix comes back, it seems that those months that passed by didn’t happen. She goes back to torturing, chasing, and kidnapping without any change at all. The only thing unusual was the fact that Narcissa Malfoy was nowhere to be found.
Suddenly, in the month of June, the Dark Lords call a meeting, and once they arrive, they receive the most awful news.
"EVERYONE, THIS IS MY DAUGHTER DELPHINI," Voldemort says plainly as he holds Delphini in his arms while Bellatrix smiles proudly.
Sorry looks were given to Rodolphus and congratulations to the Dark Lord, but it seems as though Rodolphus is waiting anxiously for something.
All of a sudden the doors flew open. It revealed Narcissa, and she was holding pieces of paper. She threw one at the Dark Lord and yelled, "Here is proof that you, Voldemort, are not Delphini’s father. It is Rodolphus Lestrange."
What?
Voldemort picks up the paper and sees the results: Delphini is 99% related to Rodolphus and 99% related to Bellatrix. Looks of confusion are exchanged within the Death Eaters; they look at Rodolphus and see him punching the air with happiness "My bloodline lives!".
Voldemort hears this and looks at Rodolphus with fury in his eyes. He reached for his wand, but before he could do anything,
"Wait, there's more!" Narcissa exclaimed with a mischievous grin as she threw another set of papers. "The Malfoys will take care of Delphini from now on. She'll be raised in one of the illustrious Black family manors."
Chaos ensues, Rodolphus was struck by a bombarda spell, Narcissa barely dodged the spell casted by Voldemort, Bellatrix just stood there confused
Draco Malfoy, ever the quick thinker, saw an opportunity in the confusion. He sprinted towards Voldemort, deftly snatching Delphini from his arms and surprising everyone with his audacity.
"Sorry, Voldy, but we'll be taking Delphini now!" Draco declared, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Lucius Malfoy, Draco's father, emerged from the shadows, wand at the ready. With a swift flick, he activated a portkey, whisking Narcissa, Draco, and baby Delphini away to safety, leaving Voldemort seething with anger.
As they disappeared, Narcissa couldn't resist one last triumphant declaration. "You owe us, Rodolphus!"
And thus, the Malfoy family escaped with Delphini, leaving Voldemort to fume in his momentary defeat.
