*I don’t think me being ill is something to smile about!*
Justin
“Severus, you have to help me. You are the one that knows him the best.” Severus smirked at him. Anthony chuckled beside him. Pops hit him.
“Don’t be mean. I’m sure whatever ring you pick out, Draco will love it.”
“You need to go to Diagon Alley. There is a jewelry store there. A vampire owns it. She knows you are coming. When I bought Neville’s ring. She stated something about knowing what ring he would want.” Justin didn’t want to deal with a vampire if she said she knew what ring he would want. Justin would try.
“Okay, Anthony you are coming with.” Anthony shook his head.
“No way. Why would I want to be near a vampire? I already have a ring I’m going to propose with. It was my grandmother’s wedding band.”
“You have to come with me, Tony… Please, I need my best man to help.” Justin knew Anthony wouldn’t say no then.
“Did you just ask me to be your best man?” Anthony’s lips spread into a big smile.
“Of course. You are my best mate.” Justin watched as Tony sighed.
“Okay, fine I will brave a vampire since I am your best man after all.” Justin smiled as he slapped Anthony on the back.
“Thank you, mate, I mean it.” Barnaby summoned paper and a pen.
“Which means I need to get started! We are not waiting for this wedding. I want a Winter wedding.” Justin would marry Draco tomorrow if he could.
———
“Why did I let you talk me into this? A vampire Justin. What if we go in there and she is hungry? We are going to become her snack!” Justin rolled his eyes as they walked into the storefront. Dark magic prickled his skin. It almost took his breath away.
An ageless woman walked out of the back. She wore a predatory smirk on her face.
“I was wondering when you were coming. I’ve been waiting for you since that beautiful blond walked into my store. I told him. Though I would have the perfect ring for you.” The woman's eyes flickered over to Anthony who gulped.
“I don’t have the one for you. My sister does her store in America. I believe it is right next to your bookstore.” Anthony nodded and looked back down at the floor.
“Now back to you.” The vampire practically glided over to the showcase. She pulled out three rings.
One was a band of rectangle diamonds. The second was only one 1c diamond set in a gold band. The last one was the one. It was over the top yes, but so very Draco. In the center was a round diamond. From the middle, was a circle of smaller diamonds, then twisted gold. Then another circle of even smaller diamonds. The band of the ring swirls were carved.
“This is the one!” Justin looked over at Anthony whose eyes were wide.
“Mate, that’s nice. I know you are a mind healer but…” Anthony has talked about putting all of his money into his bookstore. Justin knew if he talked with Barnaby about the situation it would be fixed easily.
“Don’t worry. By the time you get yours. You will have no issue with money. I’ve already added the ruins that he would need. I had a feeling that it was the ring.” Justin smiled at the vampire. Now he has to get everything planned perfectly. Of course, he will have to talk with Barnaby.
Draco
Draco had the pieces picked out for his show. The gallery loved all ten pieces. When they told him they needed ten works of art Draco stressed. Justin was such a great boyfriend. He made sure Draco ate and rested. He still had to do his potions on top of painting, and drawing. Justin would fall asleep on the couch in the room Draco made his studio. There were plenty of sketches of a sleeping Justin for his personal collection. The man was gorgeous.
Draco was over at Harry’s. They invited him over for game night; it was just Neville, Harry, Barnaby, and himself. The others were over at Barnaby and Hagrids with the kids. Typically his nephews and niece would be there. Everyone was acting strange tonight. Draco didn’t worry too much about it. He had been so tired and rundown lately. He blamed working so hard.
*Dray did you get your pieces picked out?* Harry asked as Barnaby rolled the dice.
*I did. It was harder than I thought it would be. I feel like I was stressing over it for so long. I was starting to worry myself sick. I’ve been tired and sick to my stomach.* All three men looked at each other. Draco felt like they were talking telepathically.
*How long have you felt like this Draco?* Barnaby checked his forehead.
*It’s been a little while. Since I got the call from the gallery asking me for the show.*
Harry was smiling big, and Neville tried to hide his smile behind his hand. What was so funny about him being sick? He would think that they would have been worried.
*I don’t think me being ill is something to smile about!* Draco glared at his family. Why were they acting like this?
*It’s not funny Draco. Do you mind if I run a quick test on you?* Barnaby pulled out his wand. The older wizard gave him a small smile. He trusted Barnaby, so he nodded.
There was a quick wordless spell and three gasps. Draco couldn’t tell what happened or why everyone was gasping.
*The reason everyone was smiling at you Draco, is because they knew what the test just proved.* Barnaby signed happily. What did they know he didn’t? Why are they not telling him?
*JUST TELL ME!* Draco’s hands slapped the table.
*It looks like I’m getting a new grandchild. Congrats Draco!* Did he say, Grandchild? *What?* He signed quickly. He couldn’t have heard that right.
*Draco you're pregnant!* Holy Shite!
