Chapter 2: The Keeper of the Keys

'Ow! Stop it!' Grian winced, as his aunt dragged him across the house all the way to his room. 'Why are you doing this?'

'It's too dangerous for you to go out.' His aunt replied coldly.

'Why?' Grian asked, but his aunt cut him off before he could follow up.

'No questions, you are not allowed to come out unless we tell you to apart from meals.' His aunt shut the door , leaving Grian confused.

The next night, Grian was sitting in a corner in the dinning room, eating his usual small portion of food that his uncle allows, Grian had gotten used to them a long time ago so he didn't mind.

'Ah, peaceful day." His uncle smirked, 'No weird letters.'

Tommy snickered. Grian tried to ask angrily, but thought better.

Suddenly, the lights went out, taking Grian by surprise.

'Bloody hell!' His uncle's voice snared. 'What have you done?'

'I don't know!'

The front door, which has been staying silent this entire time, came crashing down.

'Ruddy hell,' Grunted and unfamiliar voice, a low, booming one at that. 'Tis a small house.'

'Who goes there?' Grian's uncle roared, 'I'm calling the police.'

Suddenly a ball of light shone across the room, where the door used to be, now lying on the floor, stood a giant, with his head uncomfortably crooked from the ceiling, and holding an umbrella, where the ball of light was emitting from. The giant looked down.

'Sorry 'bout the door.' The giant bent down, and pulled the door up, yanking it back in place.

'Who are you?' Tommy snared, but Grian could hear the fright in his voice.

The giant ignored him, instead, he walked over to Grian, 'Grian! My boy! You've grown so much!'

'Excuse me, h-have we mey before?'

'When you were a lil baby.'

'What?' Grian looked as his aunt and uncle, who were suddenly interested in other things.

'Oh yeah, f'got to introduce myself,' The giant puffed out his chest, 'Keralis, Gamekeeper and Keeper o the Keys O Hogwarts.'

Grian frowned out of curiosity, 'What's Hogwarts?'

Suddenly, Keralis' face lit up with anger, 'What's Hogwarts?' Keralis looked at the Innits, who were now all cowering behind the couch.

'I should 'ave known, yeh were never gonna tell him, were you?'

'Well-' Harry's uncle tried to protest.

'NO EXCUSES!' Keralis boomed, shaking the house.

Keralis sighed and sits down on the couch.

'What's wrong?'

'Nothin's wrong, I need to tell you somethin'.' Keralis looked at Grian, 'You... You're a wizard, Grian.'
