So I start a revolution from my bed
I don’t ask for help often.“ Regulus admits not looking at Evan at all. Just staring into a wall.
,,I usually handle my own healing.” He adds and his eyes started tearing up.
He was drunk. Like really drunk. It was obvious because he wouldn’t have done that sober.
,,So why did you call me Reg?” Evan says softly.
,,Because when I do need someone, that’s when I know it’s really bad “ Regulus whispered, he wiped his tears running down his face and looked away from the wall to another corner of the room.
,,Reg” Evan says softly touching Regulus’s chin to move his face so he can see his face. And he does but Regulus’s eyes are still stuck on the other side of the room.
Regulus was unable to look at Evan’s eyes not like that.
,,Reg look at me” and he did look at him eventually. He’s looking at Evan. Not into his eyes tho he tried to avoid the eye contact he looked at his ear and nose and anywhere else but he did met his eyes.
He knew he was about to cry again.
And he hated it. He hated being seen weak and vulnerable and scared.
It was kinda his thing that he was cold cruel and dark.
,,it’s alright Regulus you can cry if you feel like it, don’t hold it or hide it” Evan says when he notices how Regulus is not even breathing and trying so hard not to blink because that would mean that he would let the tears fall all over his face again.
Evan hugged him tightly and Regulus started crying.
He was more comfortable like that when Evan couldn’t see his face and his tears. It was dumb because his sobbing was very noticeable.
Evan was running his fingers through Regulus’s hair. Regulus was quite calm by now. He didn’t mind t he touch. This was the second time they hugged. They sat like that for a while. Evan noticed that Regulus is breathing steadily and his eyes are closed. He moved slowly from him and he was clearly asleep so he took him to his hands and carried him to his bed. He placed him there and put a blanket over him. He was about to leave when Regulus catch him by a wrist.
,,don’t go” he says and Evan smiles at him
,,you were awake you little shit” Regulus nodded and Evan smiled amused.
,,stay?” Regulus said and he wasn’t sure if it was a question or not.
,,if you insist” Evan smiled and jumped into Regulus’s bed.
,,so what are we doing ? Probably Sleeping or Eating? Stargazing? Talking ? I was about to say drinking but I guess you had enough of that for today “ Evan teases him
,,can you get James ?” Regulus asks softly.
,,are you sure that’s a good idea ? I mean you guys are now a bit -“
,,yes I need to talk to him or I’ll lose my mind” Regulus said and Evan nodded.
