You Drew Stars Around My Scars (a Series of Marauder Short Stories)
Summary
Consider this a collection of short stories about the marauder's time at Hogwarts. The stories will be told from the perspective of different characters. The short stories will mostly focus on Wolfstar, but there will also be a few about other characters and the friendships between the individual marauders and classmates. The stories will not be in timeline order, but they will all be interconnected. This is basically a place for me to dump all my marauder headcanons in unnecessary detail. Enjoy!!

The Weary Werewolf pt.3

Remus:

When Remus woke up he heard the hustle of the three boys moving around the dorm. He slowly sat up and opened his eyes letting the light shine into his eyes. Every morning he cursed his younger self for picking the bed that the sun directly shined on. Remus had had the best sleep he’s had in a while. As he stretched his arms over his head he heard James say “Lord Sleepy has finally arisen”. Slowly yesterday started to come back to him. How he slumped onto Sirius in front of everyone and cried, actually cried. Did he get any work done? He remembered Sirius waking him up to get him to go upstairs and saying he needed to work, but he didn’t remember actually working.

Remus looked over at his night stand looking for a glass of water and saw his to-do list spread out on the table. He hadn’t left that there, had he? He tried to hide the list from his friends as much as possible. He knew that they would worry if they saw how long it was getting. Having not changed last night, he grabbed it going to shove it back in his pocket, and notice some changes had been made to the list. Some of his assignments had been scratched out. A good number of them too. Who would mess with his list? Who even found it? He’d have to write a new one. Remus reached into his bag to grab a new piece of paper and found a stack of paper. He pulled it out and found that each page was filled with scratchy handwriting that emulated Remus’s own. He knew it wasn’t his, it was still too neat. He skimmed over the pages realizing that all of the assignments crossed off the list where assignments the sat completed in his hand with his name Remus J. Lupin written at the top. Remus looked back at his to-do list and saw in neat loopy cursive that belonged to Sirius at the bottom of the page “Relax” with a little box in front waiting to be crossed out.

He looked up at the other boys for the first time that morning. He caught Sirius’s eye and smiled at him. Sirius simply smiled back and winked. Remus tucked the papers back in his bag. Sirius had completed almost all of Remus’s work that was past due and his work that was due today. Sirius even wrote down titles of books to use for his major project for Deffence Against Dark Arts that was due on the night of the full moon. Remus didn’t want to think about how long Sirius had spent working on all this. Remus would have to find a way to repay him. Maybe Sirius’s idea for a date by the lake wasn’t such a bad idea.
