It didn’t take long for Wong to get these Goblins from wherever they were, Mary Jane thought to herself as Wong came into the side room followed by three short beings. Pointed noses and ears, wearing rather snazzy suits with all three carrying folders filled with papers. Three short chairs appeared before herself, Peter and Strange’s seats. Strange had been looking at some arcane tome as Peter was gently rocking Harry as she had just taken her seat. The creatures, Goblins Strange has called then, looked at them with rather intelligent glances.
“Doctor Strange,” The goblin in the middle chair said, opening his file as he motioned to her and Peter, “these are the ones that Mr. Wong spoke of?”
“They are, Goldfangs,” Strange nodded, the tomb closing by some invisible force as he looked over at the Goblin, “might I introduce Peter Benjamin Parker and his wife, Mary Jane Parker nee Watson. As by the magical agreements between Sanctum and Gringotts, you may know these two as Spider-Man and She-Venom.”
Goldfangs raised an eyebrow before smirking without showing his teeth, “Ah, New York’s own spider based heroes. I have to say, you both have caused a stir in the magical communities. Many want you removed from society and experimented on or simply end your lifes on the spot for using “Magics Unknown”. At Gringotts, we have no such opinions unless it involves the making of money.”
Mary Jane listened before her husband spoke up, “So, what can we do with you and your associates?”
Goldfangs pulled out a large parchment as he passed it over to her, “As of Halloween Night, you both became the legal guardians of one Harry James Potter, Heir to the Potter Estate and the Lordship therein. However, the legal side of things are on the non-magical side only. Many other Lords and Ladys of Britain want the Potter Heir out of your hands and are willing to spend money on ending your lives, however, we at Gringotts have also been looking into keeping the child from the hands of those that want to do him harm. Less money wasted due to internal magical politics.”
“In saying that,” Goldfangs said, pulling out another paper and passing it to her again, “I have a few suggestions to silence those who believe that they have some”divine” right to a child not even two years of age. The first is to legally get the magical guardian to sign the heir off to you, however, that will be impossible without causing more issues. The second is to simply handle issues like bounty hunters, hit wizards or assassins as they appear. Something you both could handle with your various abilities.”
“I’d rather not have New York ravaged by those seeking to get money from those that simply believe they are better than the common people,” Peter said flatly, his eyes clouding over with whatever dark images he was imagining, “so, the last option?”
“Simply use the blood adoption potion,” The Goblin on the right side of Goldfang grunted, “four parts in one whole. His birth parents and you two, as most potions are divided into groups of four.”
Peter raised an eyebrow, “I’m guessing this has to do with magic and its love of having numbers?”
The goblin grinned, “Indeed it does.”
Mary looked over at Peter,” Meanings?”
Peter motioned to Strange, “the good Doctor and I had time during the year you were having a family vacation world tour, about numbers and why magic has a thing for them. Things like potions and runes like even numbers, while rituals and other things need odd numbers.”
Mary nodded before looking over the pages that were handed to her, noticing that many of the people that wanted her son taken from her were those with names that sounded ridiculous. Sighing at the fact something was happening to try and ruin Peter’s life once more, like Fate wanted nothing more then to ruin her husband’s life for the fact it could. She wasn’t gonna allow it as long as she was alive or dead.
“Potion it is then,” She said before putting the papers on her lap, “how does one do this then?”

December 24th - 25th, 1999
Time passed and Mary Jane was smiling down at her fully adopted child, who was grinning widely back at her. Her son, Harrison Benjamin Parker, was a happy child that was doing his best to make his parents smile at every opportunity he could. In the weeks following the blood adoption, Harry was already showing signs of being a child of Spider-Man and She-Venom. He had started crawling along the walls and even webbed MJ’s hairbrush to the wall when it was getting more attention than himself. Not only that, Venom had mentioned that the boy had a symbiote that bonded with him.
Something along the lines of Venom asexually producing within Harrison was confusing and rather something MJ rather not think about.
However, as the holiday changed from Thanksgiving to Christmas, MJ was finding it far more amusing as the end of the year approached. Peter was getting everything ‘perfect’ for their sons’ first Christmas as a Parker, as he was currently getting the tree set up. Working with him was Aunt May, the woman in her late-forties to early-fifties and was looking good for her age. The surrogate mother of her husband was currently making the popcorn chains that would be hung on the pine tree, as MJ walked in with Harrison on her hip.
Currently, Peter was trying to get the lights around the tree with varying success as she walked in with their son. Harrison cooed as he saw his dad, who waved at him with a grin. Of course, with it growing late, MJ put her son to bed and returned to the living room to find her aunt/mother-in-law giving her a raised eyebrow.
“So,” She said, sliding another popcorn onto the string that made up the chain, “how are you gonna solve the issue of when you both are heroing or working at the company Peter is planning on creating?”
“Currently?” Peter said, finally finishing putting the lights around the tree and lighting them, “He usually is carried on the back of MJ as Venom has taken a shine to him. However, it seems like he somehow got a symbiote that creates a suit over him that hides his identity.”
May sighed, “Peter, I’m pretty sure I taught you better then that.”
“Harry isn’t one to stay home, May,” MJ said, sighing as she flopped into a chair, “he got really fussy when Pete went out for a morning patrol and really hated it when both of us were gone when he woke up the last few days of November. We decided to carry him and only do small-time criminals if we carry him, its safer that way. Not only that, he cheers as we swing through the buildings and streets.”
May blinked, “He enjoys the swinging?”
Both parents nodded, as MJ said, “He laughs and babbles for more, his first word was ‘Fly’ and it was with both of us while we were crawling along the side of a building. Harry wants to go with us and clearly is some sort of adrenaline junkie.”
Peter smiled sadly, “too bad he couldn’t be a kid that remained on the web and took care of it.”
Mary Jane sighed at her husband, “Peter, no, I’d prefer having our son close to us then having him with someone that might be a magically disguised person that wants to kidnap him.”
Peter grimaced at that, remembering the several times that She-Venom nearly tore apart several magical people that tried to kidnap their son. Steven Strange had to appear and take the would-be kidnappers back to their respective governments while the parents went home to make sure Harrison was ok. Aunt May Parker looked at the pair with concern before standing up and motioning to Peter to take up the end of the popcorn chain.
“Peter, finish this chain while Mary Jane and I wrap the tree in the ones I have completed.”
“Of course, Aunt May.”
After wrapping up the tree, the parents went to their bed and were silent as sleep barely came. Mary Jane felt like she had only closed her eyes when Venom woke her up with its frantic voice.
“Invaders are coming! Probably for the child!”
Mary Jane was up as Venom formed around her, leaping from the bedroom towards her son's room. Her senses alerted her before a blue light nearly hit her, body pulling itself away from the blue light like it had torn her body open. It regrew as she snarled, lips pulled back to show her sharp teeth. Before her were three figures, one with a snarled staff and the other two holding wands. She could smell them as well, her senses picking up on the clothing and their hair. Behind her, Peter leapt out of the bedroom doorway and landed on the hallway wall. She could feel the anger rolling of her husband as his mask’s eyes were narrowed.
“Its them,” A gruff voice said as he aimed his wand at Spider-man, but Pete was faster as his webs forced the man's hand into his chest, causing the spell to hit the ceiling, “what?”
“I would have thought that breaking and entering were against the law,” Peter remarked darkly and he lept off the wall and landed before the trio, “however, I’m starting to see three people that think the law is beneath them. The state of our world today.”
“You have no idea, muggle,” The one with greasy black hair remarked, swiftly firing off a few of his magical spells that Peter dodged, “now stop resisting and we can leave.”
Mary Jane moved across the ceiling to get to her sons’ room as she heard Peter snap, “Oh, I see. I should just listen to the guy who looks like his ugly mug should be on the Neighborhood watch. Not a chance, buddy!”
“If you run your mouth as much as you tried to dodge, you might be a competent foe,” The greasy haired wizard remarked as Peter dodged a few more of his rather impressive spell throwing speed.
“Says the bat that is trying to kidnap my son!” Peter barked back, going in for a kick but the greasy haired man sidestepped.
As the home assault continued, MJ was nearly over their heads when another spell nearly caught her mid-movement, causing her to detach from the ceiling with her arm thrown out to web whoever attacked her. The web line connected to the chest of a short man that looked human but also had Goblin features. Grabbing her web line with both hands, She-Venom pulled the short being out of the doorway of her sons’ room. Crying out in alarm, the short man was sent flying into the back of his staff wielding associate which made them both collapse in a heap.
All this happening within the space of several seconds, due to both MJ’s and Peter’s senses giving them far greater movement and speed.
Turning her head, she saw her husband’s fist connecting with the jaw of the greasy haired man. He collapsed like a bag of bricks as he turned his attention to the woman, webbing her to the wall and webbing her mouth shut.
“Go!” He said before ducking from a spell being casted at his back, making him spin around and go after those in the front rooms.
MJ sprinted into her child's room, pulling a very awake Harrison into her arms. The child was wide-eyed as his symbiote suit formed around his body, a very dark blue hue for the base and for the webbing it was a dark pine forest green. Venom quickly moved the boy onto her back, locking him in place with its gooey body acting like a carrier. She moved towards the hallway before Peter came running towards them, grabbing her into a bridal carry and jumping out the window.
The reason why became apparent as the room behind them exploded, as both of the spider-themed heroes were propelled into the side of a building. Thankfully, catching it as they looked back at their apartment.
“That is definitely not gonna work with the renters that their room just exploded,” Peter mused aloud, as Harrison cooed at the firelight, “given they’ll have to get an explanation of what happened.”
MJ sighed before speaking, “be thankful that it was only the work in progress room for Harry, Tiger. Nothing that can’t be replaced, but I’m more worried about those that attacked us.”
“That would be members of a vigilante group called ‘The Order of the Phoenix’, She-Venom.” The voice of the Sorcerer Supreme said, the man floating down so he was with them, “following the orders of whom I assume to be Albus Dumbledore.”
Both spider-themed heroes looked at Strange before he said, “Don’t worry, you both got insurance for this.”
MJ frowned, “What insurance?”
Strange handed her a card, “You’re in the vicinity of the Sanctorum, you both are under the insurance protection of the Santorum for any magical attacks. Think of this as a belated marriage gift.”
Christmas morning came and with it, the PDNY. Of course, the police handed the group of magically empowered group of invaders to Doctor Strange. They didn’t mess with magic, Strange did and that was fine with them. Peter was giving his statement to Jefferson Morales and his partner, George Stacy while MJ was sitting in the ambulance while being looked over by Rio Morales.
The nurse was quick to clear both herself and Harry of anything harmful before striking up a conversation with her. It seemed that both the Morales and the Stacy’s weren’t that far away from them, only a couple blocks away.
“If you want,” Rio said, putting the medical bag away, “You can have Christmas with us. George, his wife and his daughter are coming over. I’m sure that your son would be good friends with Miles and Gwen.”
MJ smiled, as she nodded, given that the plans had been wasted by the magical attack last night, “Of course, we’d love to come over, Rio. Harry would probably like kids his age more then having two adults and his Aunt for Christmas.”
Maybe, things would turn out for the Parker Family.
