AITA For disciplining my student for his illegal behavior?
I (32M) am a teacher at an elite British specialty boarding school where I am the head of my department.
For context, I have been in love with my best friend for more than a decade. Her name brings joy to my wretched heart, her green orbs gave me reason to wake up for years. She and I both attended the school that I currently teach at. I watched her evolve into a scrumptious, seductive young woman whom I have been entranced by from the day I first met her. Before she became the voluptuous and enticing person whom I love, she was an intoxicating presence in my life. Was. She and I were together for years, but she misunderstood one of my friends and claimed I was “racist”. Obviously she was wrong, but despite my many attempts to make her realize she was acting crazy and that we were in love, she insisted that I was “delusional”. The whole thing was completely out of character for her. Even though we had this bump in our relationship, we continued long distance when I got employed at a political group after graduation. The campaign’s base and beliefs made it difficult for us to continue communication. We grew apart over time as I got lost in my work.
You can imagine my shock when I went on a field visit for work and found out from one of her friends from school that she was married. Worst of all, the love of my life, the light of my day, my cherished beta, had married the most loathsome weed-infested snowflake jock who bullied me throughout high school. He discriminated against me for being a proud conservative and constantly called my friends and I racist for making remarks he was too sensitive to handle. He and his furry boyband terrorized me throughout high school. Needless to say, I was furious.
I wanted to forget about her so I threw myself into work and ended up getting close to the leader of our organization. I found out the twink hippie bully, Lames (20M), was a key part of a radical political group that we needed to eliminate. This meant that we needed to permanently dispose of Lames and his son. This would leave my darling woman, the love of my life, to me. Exactly where she was meant to be. The organization also wanted to target her because of her background and involvement with Lames, but I convinced them that she was just misguided and could be shown the light with my help. I should mention my protecting her was potentially damaging to my career but despite this I tried everything to save her life. Eventually they agreed. Unfortunately, an accident occurred, and she died. I held her for hours grieving her tantalizing being and our future. Me as the head of the house and her as my beautiful, submissive, perfect wife. My grief was interrupted by the snot-nosed infant who didn’t even have the manners to respect my boundaries and stop that noisy crying.
Anyway, the kid (12M) is now my student. He is a complete brat. He is completely ignorant to my pain and pulls the same bullshit as his father. He is a complete cretin with no skill, talent, or any perceptible good attributes. His only redeeming quality is that he has the most beautiful, enchanting eyes. They look just like hers. Before you ask, I have confirmed through a paternity test that he is not my child. He looks just like my bully and acts like him too. He has the same arrogance and high-and-mighty attitude. He has none of his mother’s divine graces. His father’s libtard genes polluted any traces. His behavior made me snap from the first day of school. He is truly despicable and unworthy of the privilege to call the love of my life his mother. He was never meant to be born. She should have been mine and mine alone.
Despite my passion regarding this topic, I have maintained a professional demeanor. However, recently he and his friend illegally stole a car because they were late to school. I strongly believe that the two should be expelled. The principal has a soft-spot for the kid so despite my valid concerns and won’t listen to my reasoning. I fully believe as an educator that this student should be expelled and punished, a few detentions won’t suffice in disciplining him. Naturally, I took matters into my own hands by paying special attention to him and making sure he suffers the consequences of his actions in my class. He is just like his father and honestly I have to stop myself from sneering at him daily. Some fellow teachers think I am being cruel and that I’m bullying him. I simply think that he is getting what he deserves. I know I’m NTA but for the sake of deliberation, AITA?
