With Britain's sky above he couldn't help but flip through the Prophet halfhazardly as he louzed about his cabin. Not that it had anything of interest, mind you. Just more talk of certain groups needing to registrate and how the Alley was set to get a new wandmaker. Pushing the rubbish aside Draco began to lay down, intent on getting some much need rest, befoee sighing in exasperation  as he heard rustling from the other rooms. His bethrothed (ex  bethrothed?) was still busy at work giving it up to men she wouldn't have glanced at for more than a second four months ago, but that was then. Evidently, much had changed. And she just had to be so very loud, knowing that the rest of the train would hear?

Whore.

But what was there to do? He had bigger problems now, with his family having fallen beneath the dirt in terms of favor with their shared Lord. Those bastards! Yes, he might have treated them like paupers over the past seven years, but that's because they deserved it! What was a Nott, a Crabbe, or a godforsaken Goyle to the Malfoys? Maybe he should have treated them a tad more decently, but how was he to predict a lordforsaken ressurection, along with a Goyle at any point in time having more favor than him? As the shouting grew louder Draco finally gave in to casting a silencing charm around his room. With another exhale of breathe, he grabbed his dear Aunts self written book of monstrosities and ebgan to read, absentmindedly nibbling on his lip as England morphed into the Scotland highlands.

Draco kept his mouth shut as he sat with his fellow snakes, watching as former aquantinces interacted with each other, acting as if he wasn't even there. Not that it truly mattered but still, the principle of being a loser isn't, or shouldn't be what one would think when looking towards a Malfoy. It was unbecoming for his self to be abandoned so thoroughly. But as he looked around the great hall, he figured it could be worse.

Tracy Davis was gone, as were a good fifth of his peers were gone and if they were smart, out of the country entirely. Draco had to bite his tounge and avoid laughing at the thought, who would've thought that in a year's time Hogwarts would go from Dumbledores playground into this? A place dedicated to magic, well and truly now, begone of all distraction, of a tolerance for those who are lesser. It's a refreshing thing to see.
