Sirius wiped the tears rolling down his face staring at the mirror he allowed himself a minute to put himself together.
All he needed was 16 seconds.
Walking out of the bathrooms he made his way to the Gryffindor common room. Smiling one of his biggest smiles he plopped himself on Remus’s lap. Letting out a satisfied groan when his boyfriend runs his hand through their hair.
“Hey, pads,” Remus whispered as a movie was being magically projected for the marauders and the girls to see.
“Moony.” Pecking a quick kiss on Remus's cheek Sirius looked towards the projector.
“Pads…” Sirius just hummed in response watching the movie.
“Sirius look at me.” At that, Sirius did as told and looked towards Remus. Sirius’s eyes glossed over as they saw Remus's face.
“Hey.. let’s go upstairs.” Untangling his fingers from their hair Remus gave a short nod to James concerned face and helped Sirius up from their comfy spot.
“Why?” Sirius whined letting himself be dragged upstairs.
Finally, the couple made it upstairs, with a click of the lock Remus turned around worry lacing their features.
“What’s wrong moony?” Sirius said oblivious to his boyfriend's protective nature.
“I don’t know Sirius. What is wrong?” Remus asked taking Sirius's hands in his.
“Nothing.” Sirius’s lie came out of his mouth like it was a fact, but Remus could read Sirius like a book.
“C’mon pads I just want to help, you don’t have to tell me what’s wrong I just want to fix whatever’s bugging you.”
“It’s just family stuff, can’t really fix that Moony.” Sighing, Sirius leaned forward giving Remus a quick peck before dropping himself onto his bed.
“No, but I can make you feel better and you can talk to me and you can tell me what’s wrong and you can come to me when you’re crying instead of hiding in the bathrooms.” Remus laid down next to Sirius running his fingers along their before gently pushing their face towards him. “I will always be here for you Sirius, so would Peter, Regulus, Lily, Dorcas, James even Minnie. We’re your family, you can always talk to us. Don’t ever feel otherwise.”
A soft smile reached Sirius's lips as a tear rolled down his face. Giving in to his desires he kissed Remus, a small delicate kiss.
“I got another letter from my mother, I know I shouldn’t open them but I did and, and-“ Sobs broke his words as Sirius buried his face into Remus’s chest tears staining the werewolf’s cardigan.
Once again Remus ran his hand through Sirius's hair, “Whatever they said about you or anyone don’t believe them, they’re just pissed that their heir would rather hang around with a werewolf than their own parents. As you should by the way.” Remus commented a hint of anger lacing his words.
“I would choose a werewolf with a sharp mouth over them any day.” Sirius let out a small laugh pecking a kiss at Remus's jawline. Replying to Sirius's affection Remus kisses Sirius's forehead tightening his arms around his waist.
