“Yeah, yeah i'll feed your damn cat.'' Sirius said, a bit annoyed. Remus laughed a bit at this wishing him a good day.
“Feed the cat” sirius mocked while swiping the floor, it was a bit chilly he thought to himself. Sirius finished his task then walked into their room jacking one of Remus's jumpers. Stupid hair kept getting in his face so he ended up putting it in a half up half down bun. While doing this he released star was following him, when he looked down he saw star rubbing against his leg. Sirius giving in picked the cat up. Slowly he started petting him, after a while he let the cat rest on his shoulder while he continued cleaning. Soon the babysitter dropped Harry off wishing him a good day. After he cleaned up last night's mess he went into the living room to see Harry passed out with star. Finding this adorable he snatched Remus's camera and took a picture. Placing the camera down on the table next to the door. He then began picking up harry making star stir awake, meowing he followed sirius to harry's room, sirius layed harry down on his bed and star jumped up there soon after. Sirius walked out of the room leaving the door cracked for the cat. Turning on the radio he began dancing to the song . while dancing star seemed to come out of Harry's room and wanted to be held. So Sirius picked him up and began dancing with the cat. Soon the song “ all the young dudes” by david bowie started playing. Sirius closed his eyes, humming along to the song. Star beginning to pur, Sirius was randomly startled by a click sound and dropped star, meowing at him star scurried back to Harry's room. “ I hate cats, right?” Remus laughed walking over to his husband. “May I have this dance” Remus smirked, the two began dancing with no care in the world, spinning and spinning, kisses here and there. They ended the dance after the third song passed.
“I miss this,” Sirius whispered into Remus's ear. Remus agreed, laying his head on Sirius's shoulder. Eventually the two made their way to bed.

Remus awoke to the smell of bacon and eggs, smiling as he got up and saw a star on the edge of the bed. “Morning star” he patted his head and walked out to the kitchen. Sirius had made breakfast for the two of them. Sweet. Not so sweet, he left the stove on. “Love, thank you, but next time maybe remember to turn the stove off” walking over he turned the knob to “OFF”. Sirius, realizing his mistake, yells sorry. Remus chuckled at that. Moving to the dining room.

The date was slowly crawling around the corner and you can tell between the couples change in attitude, even their cat was acting off. If you had not suspected by now it was the death date of the potters coming up, every year the lupins go a little crazy around this time, of course it made sense after all he was their best friend, even his wife was missed. But Sirius took notice of the star's random burst as the week got closer to its end. Ripping up pillows, going to the bathroom on the floor, then the random outburst would be missing like nothing happened, Remus ignored all of this bringing himself into work. “ DAMN IT SIRIUS WILL YOU QUIT IT? HES JUST A FUCKING CAT!! STOP MAKING UP CRAP” snapped. Remus snapped. Sirius started. He stared even when Remus left. He just stared. He wasn't going insane was he? He swore that the cat shook his head like he could hear his thoughts.
“This is all your fault, I didn't even want a damn cat.” he whispers to the cat walking outside. He was going crazy, but maybe just maybe, he turned around. The damn cat sat there. “ Who are you?” Sirius knew it was a long shot. He transformed. Walking over to the cat. The cat, scared, ran outside the door. He transformed back. “Damn it.” Sirius whispered to himself. Suppose he was going crazy.

Three days pass with a blur, star no wear to be found. It was today that James and Lily were murdered. “Sirius where's the cat?” Remus looked around. He had been out since their fight, sleeping at the shop.
“I dont know cant be far, feed the damn thing every night. When I wake up the bowels empty.” he shrugged sippin on his tea. Remus looked at Sirius in disbelief.
“How the hell- DID YOU MANAGE TO LOSE A CAT???” Remus lost, frantically looking around the house, he walked the street, even Sirius began to worry. But that was not for him to worry about, he had to go to the store and get flowers before his annual visit. Lillys, he always got lilies. No matter how long it took he got lilies. So when he got to the store and there were no lillys he was annoyed but nonetheless he continued to look around, eventually he got annoyed and appreciated the felled lilies. If the stores didn't have them he'd get his own. And that's what he did. After he got the flowers he went back to get remus.
“Love, are you ready? Did you find a star?” Sirius asked, looking at Remus, no he hadn't. Sirius felt bad about this but did not address it, “I'm sure he will come up” . He grabbed remuses hand, going to Godric's hollow. The 2 wedded men walked to their best friends' graves, the previous years flowers growing around the grave, and a man? Sirius looked seriously. Who would be at James and Lily's funeral? He thought to himself that what seemed to be a man was hunched over almost as if crying? Wearing a dark coat and hat, unnoticed by hinged sight, the man's breath hitched as he noticed them approach.
“Sorry, well give you a moment.’’ Remus muttered pulling Sirius's hand but Sirius didn't want to leave. Who was this man?? “Pardon my intrudence but how did you know the potters?” Sirius, being as noisy as ever asked the strange man. The man seemed to stiffen some but he replied. “An old…. Lo-” the man was about to say before a dog came running toward sirius making him take his eyes off the man. After shaving the dog he turned around but the man that was there seemed to be gone. “Star?!?!?!” Remus yelled, scaring both him and the cat by his outburst.
“Bloody hell.'' Sirius muttered. That isn't possible for the cat to randomly appear; they were way too far away from their house. Sirius whispered something into Remus's ear, which shocked him but he shook his head nonetheless. They both yelled something as a bright blue light flew out of their wands. The cat began to spin rapidly until it was no longer a cat but a human. “WHAT THE FUCK” sirius yelled hollding his wand up in a defensive poseshon remus soon after followed the suit.
“Reveal yourself..” Remus whispered the two men both prepared themselves for something they believed they already knew the answer to.
