“Wow. Why do I have so many he… her um,” Harry stutters.
“Heirships?” Lee asks, pushing his panic to the side for a second, before it rushes back. “Wait, how many do you have?”
“Um… five!”
What kind of fanfic bullshit is this?
“Can I see?”
Harry hands it over happily.

What… That’s… How?
“Do you know where all these came from?” he asks, showing it to Ullor.
“Gryffindor and Potter are from his father, Black was left by his godfather, Slytherin is through right by conquest and Hufflepuff is from his mothers side, you would probably be heir if your mother were not a squib. As it is you’d be next in line after heir Potter.”
“Can I give Hufflepuff to Lee?” Harry asks.
“Harry,” Lee starts.
“I don’t need five! And you’re Hufflepuff too!”
“You can if you wish,” Ullor cuts in.
Harry turns to Lee, eye pleading.
“Please? I don’t want that many anyway!”
“I… if you’re sure?”
“Yes!”
“Ok, do you know where Peverell came from?” Lee asks, turning back to Ullor.
Ullors brow raises.
“This does not say Peverell,” he says, gesturing to Harry’s sheet.
“No, but mine does,” Lee replies, showing him his.
Ullors eyes widen.
“That is certainly a surprise.”
“Why?”
“The Peverell heirship is unlike any other, you can’t gain it through blood alone, there are three requirements to gain it. First, you need Peverell blood even if it is from centuries ago, secondly you need to have interacted with a soul, I believe I was there for that,” the first time maybe, “and lastly, you have to have faced death.”
Well, he did die, at least he thinks he did, to get here, so he guesses that makes sense.
“Right, and will anyone be notified if we claim these heirships?”
“There are no lords or lady’s of the Peverell, Potter, Hufflepuff or Gryffindor lines to notify, also leaving you to become their lords when you turn eleven and the Lords of Black and Slytherin are both unavailable to notify.”
Harry eyes bounce between them as they talk, wide and confused.
“And if they were to become… available?” Lee asks.
Ullor grins.
“We are only required to notify them on the day the heirship is claimed.”
“And if they asked?”
“I would have to tell them they have an heir, but I do not have to tell them who.”
“Great! How do we claim them then?”
Ullor opens a drawer pulling out six small boxes, one at a time.
“Place the rings on the pinky of your dominant hand,” he says pushing two of the boxes towards Lee and the rest to Harry.
Lee takes one, opening it to a black ring with something silver connecting the loop, which on closer inspection turns out to be the deathly hallows symbol. This must be the Peverell ring. He slides it onto his right pinky, shivering as a wave of cold washes through him, the ring tightening to fit his finger. He shakes it off reaching for the other box. This one contains a gold ring a H on it. He puts it on and gets a rush of warmth this time, almost the complete opposite to the Peverell ring. He then watches in awe as the two rings merge together leaving one looking just like the Peverell ring did, except the deathly hallows symbol is now gold.
“Whoa!” Harry exclaims.
Lee quickly looks over and watches as his four rings finish merging, leaving a gold band that looks like a snake wrapped around his finger, two tiny black dots on its head for eyes.
“Can I see yours?” Harry asks him, excited.
Lee hands his hand over, letting Harry study it while he turns back to Ullor.
“How’s my account doing?”
“It is doing well, if you’d like I can give you some statements to read at home,” he offers with a look to Harry who is now fidgeting in his seat.
“That would probably be best,” he replies, amused, “and Harry’s?” Ullor pulls out a stack of papers and starts looking through them, brows furrowed. “No one’s accessed it since he was one, so…”
“What?” Ullor asks, voice suddenly cold and eyes hard.
Lee freezes and Harry flinches, burying his face into Lees side. Lee straightens at that, the urge to protect Harry overtaking any fear.
“Harry’s a child, he couldn’t come at this age without me, let alone any younger, so whatever you expected of…”
“That is not why I am angry,” he snarls.
“Then, why?”
“There have been monthly withdrawals from the Potters account for four years now, and if it was not heir Potter…” he trails off.
“Do you know who it was?” Lee asks, dread welling in him.
“100 galleons a month to the Dursleys and 100 a month to the ‘order of the phoenix’ both requested by Albus Dumbledore.”
“… and how does he have access?”
“He shouldn’t have. I will be speaking with the Potters account manager about this if you would be willing to return at a later date?”
“I… yes, of course. But the payments?”
“Will be cut off and we will demand return of all funds stolen.”
“Could you do that without anyone knowing we were the reason?”
“I can.”
Lee sighs, relieved and terrified. It’s one thing if Dumbledore is doing all the shit from the movies, but he’s also stealing Harry’s money?
“Thank you. I won’t be able to return until Saturday,” school sucks, “is that ok?”
“I will be waiting.”
“May your vaults overflow.”
“May your enemies tremble before you.”
Lee nods, grabbing Harry’s hand and pulling him from the room.
“Who’s Dumbledore?” he asks as they walk back to the lobby.
“Do you remember the two bad men I told you about?”
“Yeah?”
“He’s the one who wants you to fight the other.”
“Oh.”
“Don’t worry Harry, I won’t let him anywhere near you.”
