Real or Fake?

That evening, in the dining hall, Neville sat down next to Harry.

"I managed to get him to come to the greenhouse!" he whispered to Harry. "If you go in right after him, and maybe block the door, he should listen to you. No one else will be there."

"And if he doesn't listen?"

"He will," Neville said confidently.

"How do you know?"

"He will. Tomorrow at 7 pm."

"Tomorrow??" Harry started freaking out.

"Hey, you'll be fine"

"How did you even get him to agree to come?"

Neville just smiled smugly.

"C'mon, how'd you do it?"

"I'm not saying"

(AN: Neville just asked Draco to come to the greenhouse and that Harry had something to say and could Draco listen please cause Neville's tired of hearing Harry mope about Draco)

Harry scowled, and started eating.

What was he going to say?

'Hi Draco, I'm gay, you're cute, good day'?

No, he would think Harry was still just flirting.

'Oi, arsehole, you made me fall in love against my will you prick ' ?

Nah, too aggressive.

Do nothing and just slowly start wanking whilst staring at him dead in the eyes??

Harry choked on his vegetables, which just so happened to be aubergines.

After reassuring his friends that he had just swallowed wrong, he tried to erase the mental picture he had conjured up.

What else could he do?

Be honest?

Hey, Draco, I started flirting with you to get a rise out of you, but I ended up actually really enjoying it and you helped me realize that I'm gay. And if you don't like me like that I totally understand but I still want to be your friend so please stop avoiding me.

…

That could actually work.

Harry did not listen to any of his classes the next day, trying to figure out how exactly he would phrase his thoughts, and how he could leave when Draco almost inevitably said he was straight.

For his part, Draco didn't know what to expect from the greenhouse meeting, and conjured up exactly the same picture that had made Harry choke the evening before, which made him smile.

He decided that Harry would probably apologize for being an arse while somehow blaming Draco himself. 

Which was really unfortunate, he would really like it if Potter was gay, although he would question the entire world's sanity if Harry had a crush on him.

Whatever happened, he would listen to everything Harry said, if only for Neville's sake.

Neville really was an amazing person, and Draco really regretted his attitude towards the Gryffindor in the past. He was surprised by how much Neville forgave him for everything, and by the fact that Neville even seemed to… enjoy his company? Which was weird.

He also would never be able to thank Neville enough for having arranged this meeting, because he had some things he wanted to tell Harry too.
