Chapter 2

Nagini lounged ontop of Godric, shielding him away from from the loud noises down the corridor.

That’s masters meeting, with his silly followers, Nagini gets hungry when around them, so master don’t let Nagini in during meetings now,” Nagini said, flicking Godric with her tail.

Hey!” Squawked Harry, as he felt Nagini’s tail whack him in his face.

Hush, Duckling, Nagini is here,” Nagini said, wrapping Harry up gently yet tightly in her coils. Harry squirmed, bored of doing nothing and peaked his beak out into the cold air.

I'm hungry-” He complained, pecking Nagini lightly with his beak. She hissed angrily, before beckoning him forward with her tail.

“Come on then, Hatchling, we shall go to master and eat someone! Nagini is hungry too,” She hissed, her tongue flicking out as she slithered.

I’m not hungry for a human!” Godric cried out, shocked and slightly disgusted.

Oh, Nagini shall eat a 2 legged rat person and you can have whatever Hatchling wants,” Nagini said, most likely attempting to sooth Harry in a weird messed up way.

Voldemort was debating if he should or if he shouldn’t send a curse to his idiotic followers. He had specifically told everyone that he expected full ministry reports, yet here they were, purely waffling and making stuff up.

Voldemort’s hand tightened around his wand as Malfoy finally began to stop talking.

“...and that’s why I best advise us to withdraw our current-” Malfoy was cut off by himself as he screamed from the careless crucio Voldemort sent him.

“You just repeated the exact same information you gave me next week, give me something new!” Voldemort snarled, internally taking joy from the shaking his followers were doing now out of fright.

“Um- Harry Potter has been reported as missing, My Lord, Dumbledore has tried to keep it from public media attention, but my son as well as others in Potter’s year group can confirm he is missing-” Malfoy shut his mouth as he noticed he was rambling.

He was normally composed, his hair swept neatly through a clean side parting, but after screaming and rolling on the floor from that curse, Lucius could only imagine how he looked.

“What? How long ago were you aware of this, why didn’t you say it before? What information do we have on that? How long has he been missing for? Do we know where he is?”

“No My Lord, sorry My Lord, I have no further information, all though my son is currently learning more on that situation as we speak. Dumbledore has claimed he has gone for a break with his muggle family, but it is unlikely due to the fact he wasn’t spotted leaving, not on the Hogsmede train, or even on a broomstick,” Malfoy gasped, after rattling on without breathing, trying to appease Voldemort.

“You will find me more information, that is, if you don’t want to be punished,” Voldemort said, watching as Bellatrix giggled loudly and manically.

Voldemort was half listening as he watched Malfoy crawl on the ground and ramble needless apologies. Voldemort’s mind was running quicker then most could even process a singular word. So Potter had run away? Or was taken maybe? He could be in the forbidden forest, those Gryffindor thoughts Poter must have might have convinced him to  simply hide somewhere in Hogwarts? But he mustn’t ignore the fact that Dumbledore might have taken him away to train and learn, and is pretending to have lost him, and saying he was with his relatives to be purposely misleading? Potter likely did something stupid. Taken his broomstick and flown off a tower, or gone swimming in the lake. Voldemort was confident that his followers could find Potter quickly. He isn’t a Ravenclaw afterall, Potter would of done something dumb, got himself caught somewhere.

Well, if only Voldemort knew how correct he was with that guess.
