Chapter 13

After the talk and they had met up in the control room all together collecting Donna on their way they had travelled and seen a lot of different planets over the last eleven months of traveling together first the Doctor would chose a place to see and then the Master would pick one Harry was happy to see them growing closer together seeing all the different stars they had promised they would see together when they were tots younger than he was. Donna hadn’t been back to see her mother or grandad but she was enjoying herself to much to worry and knew she could visit them whenever she asked if she wanted to she had only seen them twice over the two previous years she had visited them but she kept in contact with her granddad so he knew she was safe and what she was doing they would speak around every four days as that was a week to Wilfred she could spend a few hours telling her grandad everything she had done and seen in those two months she had been traveling. One of the planets they went to after spending another week looking at places to visit was called Nightmare they had been there for a week already but on that particular day Harry had stayed with Donna in the resort having fun, Donna was sunbathing around the pool edge again talking to her grandad and Harry was messing around in the pool that Donna was lounging around getting a sun tan neither of them decided to go on the adventure that day that the Master and Doctor went on to spend some time together so they didn’t interfere with them spending some time on their own, it was a tour offered out to the sapphire waterfalls which turned into a disaster for both the Doctor and the Master, lucky the attendant and tour guide that was in charge of hosting the guests that had gone onto see the waterfalls saved the day when they were attacked by something that somehow managed to live on a planet that was bombarded by the sun. giving off Xtonic rays and raw galvanic radiation.

After the adventure was over and they spent another night in the hotel, the Master and the Doctor decided that they all were going to Floxum for a fortnight just to decompress and get over the latest adventure the two of them had been through it had been upsetting to the Doctor to lose the hostess they had already lost the drivers to the vehicle they were in. The Master had spare rooms in his suite that they all now used there, so Donna stayed in one of those while the Doctor the Master and Harry took the rooms the Master had set aside for them before. Donna was shocked to find that the planet was in a sense owned by the Master and how well they were looked after, they spent the two weeks staying in the local area going through all the gaming sections in one of the bio-formed buildings. By the end of the two weeks, Donna didn’t want to leave much like Harry and the Doctor the first time they had visited it but as they had seen the planet already, they decided to move on to another one, it was now twelve months since The Library incident and the Doctor and the Master wanted to take Harrys mind off the fact that it was twelve months since losing River Song.

The next planet was one the Doctor had visited before and it was full of vibrant colours and stalls with marketplaces all over, and he seemed to love the drinks they made. They arrived in a side alley that was a dead end and as soon as the stepped out on to the street they could see it was connected to it was alive with colour and people, decorated with banners and decorations handing all over everywhere going from one side of the street to the other it was awash with vibrant colour and loud noises.

"Ooh, you are all gonna love this....... One two three!" The Doctor told all of them while handling all of them a drink including Harry. The Doctor snorted, Donna laughed and the Master chuckled and Harry just pulled a face.

"It's lovely!" Commented Donna in a hoarse voice, the Master, the Doctor and Harry then moved on to the rest of the market, but Donna walked off in the opposite direction from where the three Time Lords had gone off to. A fortune-teller found Donna and offered to read her future however Donna was having none of it, Donna was happy with her present she didn't need to know the future, for three years now she had travelled in the TARDIS with the Doctor the master and their son and knew she was going to continue to travel with them even the adventures were great in a scary sort of way.

"You got red hair. The reading's free for red hair." The fortune teller told Donna trying to entice her more.

"Alright then!" Donna told the fortune teller laughing at her, then Donna followed the fortune teller into the little shop they were stood outside.

"Oh, you fascinating... Ah, no, no but you good enough... I can see... A man. The most remarkable man. How did you meet him?" The fortune teller asked Donna.

"You're supposed to tell me." Donna replied with her sassy attitude.

"I see the future. Tell me the past... When did your lives cross?" The Fortune teller explained then demanded Donna answer her question.

“Which one I know a few remarkable men?” Donna sked thinking of her grandad, the Master and the Doctor.

“The young man, the one with the blue box you met him but how?” The fortune teller explained then asked Donna.

"It's sort of complicated. I ended up in his spaceship on my wedding day. Long story." Donna explained to her.

"But what led you to that meeting?" The fortune teller again asked.

"All sorts of things. But my job, I suppose... it was on Earth, this planet called Earth. A long way away from here.... But I had this job, as a temp. I was a secretary at a place called HC Clements... Sorry.” Donna told her but she seemed confused.

"It's the incense. Just... Breathe deep. This job of yours, what choices led you there?" The fortune teller again explained then asked Donna.

"There was a choice.... Six months before.... Because the Agency offered me this contract with HC Clements." Donna explained and then Suddenly Donna was in a flash back Donna and her mother were getting into her car.

"But there was this other job. My mum knew this man." Donna explained and again Donna saw another vision.

"Jival, he's called. Jival Chowdry. He runs that little photocopy business and he needs a secretary it would be perfect for you full time as well." Donna was again in a flash back her mum talking to Donna and Donna arguing she had a good job as a temp.

"Your life could have gone one way or the other. What made you decide?" The fortune teller demanded.

"I just did." Donna replied.

“But when was the moment? When did you choose?" The fortune teller asked again watching a black bug makes its way towards Donna back.

Donna was taken to another flashback, a van drove past the car of both Donna and her mother, sitting at the junction in the car. Donna’s mother was talking again.

"It won't take long, just turn right! We'll pop in and see Mr Chowdry, so Suzette can introduce you then he will take you on it’s guaranteed." Donna’s mother explained.

"I'm going left, if you don't like it, get out and walk.” Donna replied with her usual attitude.

"If you turn right, you'll have a full-time career, not just filling in jobs here and there!" Donna’s mother tried to get Donna to take the job offer. They continued on the same vain but in the end, she turned left and the flashback ended.

"You turned left. But what if you turned right, what then?" The fortune teller asked Donna.

"Let go of my hands!" Donna demanded of the fortune teller really scared.

"What if it changes, what if you go right? what if you could still go right? " The fortune teller asked Donna.

"What's that? What's on my back? What is it, what... What's crawling up my back?" Donna demanded feeling the bug climbing up her back.

"Make the choice again, Donna Noble, and change your mind... Turn right." The fortune teller demanded of Donna.

"I'm turning" Donna said trailing off again.

"Turn right... Turn right. Turn right!" The fortune teller kept demanding causing Donna to go into another flashback again.

"Well let me tell you, sweetheart, city executives don't need temps, except for practice and you know what type of practice I mean!" Donna mother told her.

"Yeah. Suppose you're right." Donna agreed with her mother and changed the indicator to turn right, it changed everything to do with Donna’s life.

Donna was in a pub. Christmas decorations were everywhere, people dressed up, drinking, happy and singing. Donna moved through the drunken rabble towards a table carrying a fresh round of drinks on a tray. Donna’s friend abolished her for buying the drinks only for them all to find out she had gained a promotion at the photocopy shop as a personal assistant to Mr. Chowdry, that announcement turned into a disaster quickly when they all were dragged outside to see a massive star floating through the air, the other locals put it down to Christmas celebrations and wastes of taxpayers money off the council, but not Donna, she headed for where it was going, Donna ended up at the Tames. A person covered over was carried on a stretcher into an ambulance while police and soldiers who were from an organisation called UNIT milled around talking about it defiantly being the Doctor that was dead. Donna watched as the arm of the body flopped down off the trolly, dropping some sort of long round object that one of the UNIT officers picked up and bagged. A distant figure was running towards her. With blond hair in a blue leather jacket.

"What happened, what did they find? I'm sorry, did they find someone?" The blond woman demanded of Donna that she had seen running towards her.

"I don't know. A bloke called the Doctor. or something." Donna replied looking at the blond woman.

"Well, where is he?" The blond woman demanded off Donna.

"They took him away…. He's dead…. I'm sorry, did you know him? I mean…. They didn't say his name…… Could be any Doctor.” Donna explained to the blond woman but the last was said with her usual attitude and sarcasm. The blond woman's face looked utterly shocked at the information and turned away from Donna.

“I came so far.” The blond woman exclaimed devastated.

“It, it could be anyone as I said there are loads of Doctors in the country.” Donna explained to her again gently this time, Donna’s attitude and sarcasm wasn’t there that she usually used, Donna could feel the devastation coming off this blond woman. She eventually tuned back to Donna.

“What's your name?” The blond woman asked to Donna trying to compose herself.

“Donna. And you?” Donna answered then asked.

“Oh, I was just passing by. I shouldn't even be here. This is wrong. It's wrong. This is so wrong. Sorry but Donna what?” The blond woman explained then asked, but not for the reason Donna thought then she noticed the blond woman looking at her back.

“Why do you keep looking at my back?” Donna demanded of the blond woman now her attitude coming back in full.

“I'm not.” The blond woman told Donna not fazed by the change in attitude.

“Yes, you are. You keep looking behind me. You're doing it now. What is it? What's there? Did someone put something on my back?” Donna demanded of the blond woman. Donna tries to look at her own back and when she turned around from trying to look herself the blond woman had disappeared.

Donna only lasted a few more months in her job as a personal assistant to Mr. Chowdry before she lost it. According to Mr. Chowdry who she was really annoyed at, there wasn't enough money to pay her any longer.

As Donna was packing up her stuff the rest of the staff were looking out of the window or listening to the events on the television, with the headline 'Royal Hope Hospital vanishes in upward rain mystery'. After about ten minutes of her packing and going through what all the different staff had done while she had been working at the photocopy place. There was a loud bang and the room they were all in shook once again.

"Don't tell me, the hospital's back. Well, isn't that wizard!" Donna Exclaimed wither usual attitude as she kicked the cabinet that she was in front of shut before she left the shop and her job.

Back at home her mother went through the things Donna had brought home in a cardboard carrying box Donna’s mother was looking at a stapler Donna had bought home as well as a raffle ticket she had been given as a chance to win a weekend holiday away to a luxury hotel date to be decided by the winner.

"Yeah, well they can keep the raffle. I won't take a penny off that man after what he’s done to me, first he gives me a new job and then suddenly he can’t afford to pay me but can keep all the other staff on one of which was dipping into the petty cash tin." Donna told her mother with her usual attitude out she was really annoyed over losing the job.

"Honestly to you two, there's aliens on the news, they took that hospital all the way to the moon, and you're banging on about raffle tickets!" Wilfred exclaimed to his daughter and granddaughter in utter disbelief.

Donna finally offered fish and chips out of her last paycheck. Her mother had taken the news well but had also said she had given up on Donna she would never amount to anything. That annoyed Donna even more as it was Donna’s mother who wanted Donna to get the job when she wanted to work as the temp which could have led to more temps often got asked to stay on full time if they worked out well for the firm. A few weeks later after trying to get another job Donna was out walking along the streets trying to put her life in order as she still hadn’t found a job for herself, suddenly Donna saw a flash from a gunnel that led onto the street she was on.

"Blimey! Are you all right? What was that? Fireworks or" Donna shouted asking the questions while looking at the figure emerging from the side street.

"I don't know, I was just… Walking along, that's weird." The blond woman in the blue jacket with blond hair explained she was the same woman Donna had met on Christmas eve after the star she had followed to Canary Wharf and the Tames.

"You're the one. Christmas Eve, I met you in town." Donna Exclaimed to the blond woman she recognised.

"Donna? Isn't it?" The blond woman asked Donna.

"What was your name?" Donna asked, but the woman changed the subject on her before she could get an answer off her.

"How're you doing? You're looking good. How's things, what have you been up to?" The blond woman asked ignoring the question while trying not to be noticed she was peering at Donna back.

"You're doing it again." Donna told the blond woman seeing her trying to look at her back, but not make it obvious.

"What?" The blond woman asked Donna as if she didn’t know what Donna meant.

"Looking behind me. People keep on doing that. Looking at my back." Donna replied to the blond woman.

"What sort of people?" The blond woman asked Donna with interest.

"People in the street. Strangers. I just catch them sometimes, staring at my back. Like they're looking at something. And then I get home, and I look, and there's nothing there. See? Look, now I'm doing it again and there is nothing there!" Donna explained with her usual attitude even as Donna tried looking at her own back.

"What are you doing for Christmas?" The blond woman asked completely changing the subject yet again.

"What am I what?” Donna asked the blond woman confused, did this blond woman know how to have an ordinary conversation? Donna might be a bit sarcastic but even she could have conversations with others.

"Next Christmas, any plans?” The blond woman asked Donna again.

"I don't know, that's ages away. Nothing much I suppose. Why?" Donna responded to that question, in the end just going with the conversation.

"Just … I think you should get out of London for the holidays. You and your family. Don't stay in London, just... Leave the city. Nice hotel, Christmas break? you, you got that raffle ticket from your job at the photocopy shop. First prize, luxury weekend break. Use it, Donna Noble." The blond woman told Donna, Donna was shocked she knew her surname. She had never given it to her she had told her she was called Donna but not that it was Donna Nobel her whole name, she tried again to get a name out of the blond woman but ended up telling the blond woman to leave her alone. However, what the blond woman had said to Donna did take root in the back of her mind about the raffle ticket and seeing if she had won so that she could treat her mother and grandad to a Christmas break in a luxury hotel.

Christmas came and the Noble family were on their way to a luxury hotel in the courtside, Wilfred had talked them into going after finding out Donna had actually won the raffle and Donna agreed in the end, even if Donna had insisted, she wouldn’t take another penny of Mr. Chowdry. Donna still hadn’t manged to get a new job, so Donna felt that a nice break over the Christmas period could do her the world of good and it was decided both her mother and grandad were coming with her even if it was only a double room.

They parked in the driveway of the country mansion hotel where Mr. Chowdry had arranged for the weekend away, she was lucky that the winning prize was for anytime of the year and the blond woman’s talk with Donna had made Donna decide on Christmas. Slade's 'Merry Christmas Everybody' could be heard playing on the radio as they pulled up the private driveway to the hotel and its parking spots. A Footman appeared once the car pulled up outside of the hotel to take all their luggage up to their room. Wilfred let him Wilfred wasn’t as young as he once was and knew his daughter and granddaughter wouldn’t be carrying their own luggage.

The next morning, they were all awake, Donna was in the bathroom brushing her hair after getting out of the luxury bath the room had, her mother was lying on the bed reading one of her magazines she had brought with her to keep herself entertained and her dad was sat on the sofa where he had, had to sleep. They all heard a knock at the door, but Wilfred ended up opening it, it was their breakfast being delivered for the three of them even though they had only provided enough for two as this is what the room was for and what the prize Donna had won stipulated but they had all agreed they could share the food, it was being wheeled in by a serving girl of oriental descent she turned on the TV on as soon as she entered the room with the trolly showing a live view of a replica of the Titanic falling out of the sky over London.

Donna was dragged back into the bedroom when Wilfred demand her to ‘come and see this’ shouting for her so she knew it was serious only for the maid to freak out at Donna’s back as they were watching the television and run out of the room slamming the door shut behind her. Donna at first thought what the TV was showing was a hoax until they all looked out of the window that they had in the room.

Gathered with the rest of the staff and guests on the drive they watched the mushroom cloud rise over London, Wilfred remarked how lucky they were. Wilfred was meant to be selling papers in London last night and if not for the raffle ticket and talking them into using it and Donna choosing for them to use it at Christmas they would have all been there Wilfred was meant to be selling papers in London for one of his friends but because of the holiday he could cover for him, everyone the Noble family knew, all their neighbours and friends were dead London had been blown apart by the replica titanic falling straight on to Buckingham palace, what was worse was that the queen had stayed in residence that year instead of going to the countryside, the whole nation was in mourning for the lives lost and the loss of most of the royal family lucky the government had broken for the Christmas recess and were all in their private abodes.

Another three months later and the Nobel family were finally in the housing centre hoping to get a house to live in as theirs had been lost in the explosion.

"I'm not moving to Leeds!" Donnas said it was the first words out of her mouth once they were told where they were being rehoused it was said with her usual attitude. Donna, her mother and Wilfred were in the small, crowded office talking to the housing officer they had been sent to see.

"I'm afraid it's Leeds, or you can wait in the hostel for another three months there is no other choice." The housing officer told them with conviction.

"What about Glasgow? I heard there was jobs going in Glasgow!" Donna demanded off the female who was their assigned officer.

"You can't pick and choose! We've the whole of Southern England flooded with radiation. Seven million people in need of relocation, and now France has closed its borders to us we have to house you where we can. So, it's Leeds or nothing….. Next!" The housing officer told them and then she stamped LEEDS on their paperwork in the folder they had on the Noble family.

The Noble family and a bunch of other refugees were driven to their new accommodation in an army bus. All those that had travelled with them, waited for instructions on a street. They were eventually given a house number only to find out that the house was full and that they got a single camp bed and the kitchen to sleep in, every family had to share a room in the house other than the bathroom which they all had to share between them the house was that full it now housed five families including the Noble family and every room was in use.

Donna tried to remain optimistic along with her grandad, but her mother had given up all hope. Donna and her grandad thought America would help them until every major city in America had people losing fat for it to turn into little fat ball people. massive spaceships appeared all over the main cities in America to collect all the Adipose children. That put America out for helping Great Britain with the crises they were having, as America was now having one of its own.

Then The ATMOS devices fired that had been released to the general public but virtually no one in Great Britain had them other than the government cars and vehicles not a lot of ordinary people could afford the price of petrol or diesel it had gone up that much in Great Britain. One soldier who was patrolling the streets got worked up when he was questioned about it by Wilfred, as to want was going on. Seeing the animal on Donna's back, the officer demanded she turn around which she eventually did. Only to see a bright flash of light off to her right. While her grandad was laying into the solder about how to treat females and how to conduct himself as a member of the British military services, Donna wandered off around the corner to see what it was. It was the blond woman in the blue leather jacket that she had met a few times in her past but for some unknown reason Donna could always remember her. They sat on a bench on the street together.

"It's the ATMOS devices. We're lucky it's not so bad here, Britain hasn't got that much petrol or diesel and its cost has gone through the roof. But all over Europe, China, South Africa and America…. They're getting choked by gas." The blond woman explained to Donna while looking up at the sky.

"Can anyone stop it?" Donna asked the blond woman looking up as well seeing the sky clouding over from all the smoke being released into the atmosphere.

"Yeah, they're trying right now, this little band of fighters, on board the Sontaran ship. Any second…. Now." Explained the blond woman and just as the blond woman said ‘Now’, the sky set aflame in a flash of fire, then it went back to being the blue sky again.

"And that was?" Donna asked shocked to the blond woman not even using her usual attitude what she had just seen was a sight that shocked her so much the whole of the atmosphere that looked grey had set ablaze moving outwards in a circle turning the sky back to its blue colour.

"That was the Torchwood team. Gwen Cooper, Ianto Jones and Toshiko Sato gave their lives to save everyone on the Earth from dying the gas was poisonous and would have killed everybody if it got to too high to toxic levels then there is Captain Jack Harkness, he has transported to the Sontaran home world after blowing the ship up that was doing all of this. There's no-one left." The blond woman explained to Donna nearly heart broken.

"You're always wearing the same clothes. Why won't you tell me your name?" Donna asked, if it was the last thing she did with this conversation, she was getting a name of this blond woman. Only for the blond woman yet again to carry on talking as though she hadn’t heard her.

"None of this was meant to happen. There was a man, a man with a wonderful family that love him deeply, they stopped it all. The Titanic falling on London, the Adipose babies in America, the ATMOS devices around the world, between them they stopped them all from happening.” The blond woman explained to Donna who was still sat next to her, but she looked at Donna now though.

"That... Doctor?" Donna asked the blond woman remembering their first encounter and how heart broken she had been finding out he was dead.

"You knew him. Him and his true family." The blond woman replied to Donna.

"Did I? When?" Donna asked with a confused look on her face she had not seen under the white sheet that covered the dead body.

"I think you dream sometimes about the man that died the Doctor. It's a man in a suit. Tall, thin man, great hair. Some really great hair!" The blond woman explained to Donna.

"Who are you? Donna asked again.

"I was like you. I used to be you. You've travelled with him, Donna. You've travelled with the Doctor in a different world, you travelled with the Doctor and his family his other half the Master and their son the Arbitrator, I only travelled with the Doctor though I didn't meet the others he wouldn’t talk about them to me he was so angry and I never totally knew why until I found out he had hidden his son on Earth with his other half and could no longer find his son and thought his other half was dead." The blond woman explained to Donna.

"I never met him, and he's dead. What about his family?” Donna asked the blond woman.

"He died underneath the Thames on Christmas Eve, but you were meant to be there. He needed someone to stop him, and that was you. You made him leave. You saved his life." The blond woman explained to Donna and for a moment Donna seemed to remember…. Flashing back to that moment. The Doctor stood in the middle of the destruction he had caused, watching the Racnoss drowning.

"Doctor! You can stop now!" Donna shouted up to him and the flashback ended, Donna stood up, angry and scared.

"Stop it. I don't know what you're talking about, leave me alone!" Donna demanded of the blond woman scared of her now.

"Something's coming, Donna. Something worse. Trust me. We need the Doctor and his family more than ever. I've…. I've been pulled across from a different universe, because every single universe is in danger. It's coming, Donna. It's coming from across the stars, nothing can stop it." The blond woman spoke explaining to Donna what was going on for once even if Donna still didn’t know her name, Donna decided to let the name go for now, obviously she was not getting one off the woman but wanted to know why she kept appearing to her.

"Well, what do you keep telling me for? What am I supposed to do? I'm nothing special. I mean, I'm... I'm not, I'm nothing special, I'm a temp. I'm not even that, I'm nothing, I can’t even get a job anymore, what do you want from me?" Donna explained getting worked up then asked the blond woman.

"Donna Noble, you're the most important woman in the whole of creation." The blond woman told Donna with real passion in her voice.

"Oh, don't. Just... Don't. I'm tired. I'm so... Tired." Donna begged out loud to the blond woman sitting back down on the bench.

"I need you to come with me." The blond woman further explained to Donna.

"Yeah. Well. Blonde hair might work on the men, but you aren’t shifting me, lady." Donna replied to her with her attitude in full force yet again telling the blond woman straight she wouldn’t be going with her.

"I know you'll come with me. Only when you want to." The blond woman told Donna with a conviction Donna couldn’t deny, but Donna wasn’t at all convinced.

"You'll have a long wait, then." Donna answered to that statement off the blond woman. It was bad enough she kept appearing to her, she still didn’t know the woman’s name, but that flashback had shocked her and shook her up Donna stood back up ready to leave having had enough.

"Not really, just three weeks. Tell me, does your grandad still own that telescope?" The blond woman replied then asked.

"He never let's go of it." Donna answered honestly looking at her bewildered before she had a chance to walk off.

"Three weeks is all its going to take for you to agree to come with me. But you've got to be certain. Cos, when you come with me, Donna... Sorry.... I’m so sorry, but... You're gonna die." The blond woman explained in a sad voice to Donna and then the blond woman actually faded away in front of Donna's eyes.

When one of the foreign families was made to move out of the house the Noble family was sharing with them to go to a camp Donna didn't understand, but you could see in the older gentleman and his wife along with her grandad did. Concentration camps is what they called them. Donna eventually tried running after the truck when it finally clicked that there was more going on and worried about the name ‘concentration’, no one would tell her what was happening to the family and her grandad got on really well with them, even he knew what was going on but wouldn’t tell Donna but she could see in her grandad’s eyes that wherever they were going was not going to be a good place even if they were all cramped into the house they had to share. Another week passed in the still cramped house they had moved one family out only for another one to take their place the same day and Donna, her mother and her grandad, were still stook in the kitchen. Donna’s mother had become unresponsive weeks ago she no longer talked and it was hard to get her to even eat, she wasn’t even complaining anymore about anything and that was something Donna’s mother always seemed to be doing until a few weeks ago.

Wilfred and Donna were sitting outside at night, by his precious telescope exactly three weeks after she had spoken to that blond woman who had faded away from the bench she was sat on right in front of Donna’s eyes.

"You know, we'd get a bit of cash if we sold this old thing." Wilfred explained to Donna with a bit of sadness in his voice.

"Don't you dare! I always imagined, your old age... I'd have put a bit of money by. Make you comfy. Never did. I'm just useless.” Donna told her grandad she was feeling down still it was why she had come with her grandad to ceep him company her mother still wasn’t talking or eating. Wilfred never answered Donna he just kept looking through his telescope.

“You’re supposed to say, no you're not!" Donna told her grandad when he didn’t correct her about her making him comfortable.

"Ah, it must be the alignment." Wilfred exclaimed not listening to Donna while trying to look through his telescope still.

"What's wrong?" Donna asked her grandad, obviously he wasn’t interested in the conversation she was trying to have with him.

"Well, I don't know…. I mean, it can't be the lens. I was looking at Orion, the constellation of Orion. You take a look and tell me, what can you see?" Wilfred explained to Donna then demanded Donna take a look as he pointed to his telescope.

"Where?" Donna asked her grandad not knowing much about telescopes or the nighttime stars.

"Well, up there, in the sky!" Wilfred exclaimed to Donna, first Donna’s grandad pointed at the telescope, then he pointed back to the night sky.

"Well, I can't see anything, it's just... Black." Donna replied after looking through the telescope for nearly a minute.

"Well, I mean it's working! The telescope is working I've checked everything on it and it’s fine it’s working as it should be." Wilfred explained to Donna pointing at all the right bits to use it.

"Well... Maybe it's clouds." Donna suggested to her grandad as she had no idea why the night sky was just black while looking through the telescope.

"There are no clouds! It was there. An entire constellation. Look.... Look there... They're going out. Oh, my God! Donna! The stars are going out." Wilfred Exclaimed in horror but Donna didn't seem surprised. She just turned around to see the blond woman in the blue jacket waiting for her with a sad smile on her face.

"I'm ready." Donna finally relented. Donna and the blond woman were driven then escorted into a huge warehouse type building. There was a circle of mirrors in the middle, and in the background, there was an old police box, a bunch of wires connecting it to the mirrors and a large computer. A Female UNIT officer saluted the blond woman, still in the blue coat she was always in.

" Captain Magambo Ma'am." The female officer greeted the blond woman after saluting her she was a member of UNIT dressed in black wearing a red beret.

"I've told you, don't salute." The blond woman spoke to the female officer, while she went to check the computer system that was connected to the mirrors and an old police box in the warehouse room Donna had been driven to.

"Well, if you're not going to tell us your name." The female officer told the blond woman.

"What, you don't know it either?" Donna demanded off the female officer. So, it wasn’t just her she wouldn’t tell her name to. Who was she? Donna wondered that she wouldn’t even give her name to anyone but was being saluted by members of UNIT Donna knew who they were from when that Doctor had been taken away.

"Crossed too many different universes. Trust me, the wrong word in the wrong place can change an entire causal nexus." The blond woman explained to Donna as though Donna was meant to understand what she was saying.

"She talks like that. A lot. And you must be Miss Noble." The female officer who had saluted the blond woman explained and then spoke to Donna. Donna then introduced herself with her first name rather than be called Miss Nobel.

"Thank you for this." The female officer genuinely told Donna.

"I don't even know what I'm doing here." Donna honestly replied to the female officer a bit bewildered over the whole thing.

"Is it awake?" The blond woman asked the female officer about the blue police box pointing to it, Donna was actually thinking of calling her ‘Blond’ woman after finding out she didn’t have a name.

"Seems to be quiet today. Ticking over. Like it's waiting." The female officer answered the question put to her. The ‘Blond’ woman invited Donna to look into what Donna thought was just a police box only to be shocked senseless. The box was massive on the inside, Donna stepped out of it backwards and slowly walked around the side of it using her arms and hands to measure its depth then she went around the back and did the same she walked around back to the front looked back into it to see the large room it contained then came back out and looked down both sides before going back into it moving further in looking at where some sort of console stood. The ‘Blond’ woman followed Donna inside

"Time And Relative Dimension In Space its called a TARDIS for short. This room is the control room and it used to shine with light. I think it's dying…. Still trying to help us though you can see the console unit slightly alight but nowhere near how it should be." The ‘Blond’ woman explained to Donna now she was inside the room with Donna.

"And.... And it belonged to the Doctor?" Donna asked the ‘Blond’ Woman a bit shook up at what she had seen that was impossible it was bigger on the inside than the out. How did that work? Donna wondered but didn’t voice it, this whole thing was way out of Donna’s league.

"He was a Time Lord. Last of his kind he thought while I was with him, it was only after I left that he found the rest of his family. His son the Arbitrator that he hid on Earth that he couldn’t find he had given up looking while I was with him, he never even told me about his son he was that angry over losing him the whole point of hiding him here was so he would live no matter what and then he has a partner he loves so much called the Master that he thought was dead until they found each other after I had left. Between them they scoured Great Britain looking for their son and found him they all travel together now as a family again." The ‘Bond’ woman explained to Donna who the Doctor was and about the Doctors family.

"But if he was so special, what was he doing with me?" Donna asked the ‘Blond’ woman confused.

"He thought you were brilliant. They all did!" The ‘Blond’ woman answered Donna honestly.

"Don't be stupid." Donna spoke with scorn at the ‘Blond’ woman.

"But you are! It just took the Doctor to show you that, simply by being with him and his family. The Doctor did the same to me. To everyone he touches. But you got even further you travelled with the Doctors family as well they all thought you were brilliant I only ever met the Doctor it was the best years of my life traveling with him through both Time and space!" The ‘Blond’ woman explained to Donna earnestly.

Eventually they got around the creature on Donna’s back and if Donna wanted to see it. She agreed, so they put her into the middle of where the mirrors circled, Donna was scared at first, she refused to look keeping her eyes shut, but when she did, she panicked like never before spinning around trying to get a better look as she could see it in every mirror she looked at. Eventually the ‘Blond’ woman and two other officers from UNIT got her calmed down.

"What is it?" Donna demanded off the ‘Blond’ woman.

"We don't know." The ‘Blond’ woman answered Donna honestly.

"Oh. Thanks." Donna sarcastically replied to the ‘Blond’ Woman.

"It feeds off time. By…. By changing time, by making someone's life take a different turn, like, meetings never made.... Children never born.... A life never lived. But with you, it's" the ‘Blond’ woman started to explain only to be interrupted by Donna.

"But I never did anything important." Donna spoke with conviction cutting in over the ‘Blond’ Woman.

"Yeah, you did. One day, that thing made you turn right instead of left." The ‘Blond’ woman explained to Donna.

"When was that?" Donna asked confused.

"Oh, you wouldn't remember. It was the most ordinary day in the world, but by turning right, you never met the Doctor and the whole world just changed around you." The ‘Blond’ woman explained to Donna.

"Can you get rid of…. Of it?" Donna asked the ‘Blond’ woman with hope.

"No, I can't even touch it. It seems to be in a state of flux. None of us can touch it, but that thing is drawing Time out of you." The ‘Blond’ woman answered honestly again.

"You liar! You told me I was special! But it's not me! It's this thing, I'm just a host!" Donna shouted at the ‘Blond’ woman she was about to leave the mirrors and just go, but was spoken to before she could even move.

"No Donna! There's more than that. The readings are strange it's... It's like realities just bend around you." The ‘blond’ woman explained to Donna.

"Because, of, this, thing!" Donna shouted again getting worked up at the ‘Blond’ woman.

"No, no!... We're getting separate readings from you, and they've always been there, since the day you were born. I thought it was just the Doctor and his family we needed, but it's all of you. The Doctor, the Master, the Arbitrator and Donna Noble. Together all of you. To stop the stars from going out." The ‘Blond’ woman quickly cut in then explained everything.

"Why? What can I do?...Turn it off…. Please." Donna asked still freaked out over the thing on her back. It was done then Donna continued.

"It's... It's still there, though. What can I do.... To get rid of it?" Donna asked the ‘Blond’ woman still scared even when she could no longer see the creature herself, Donna knew it was still on her back, just seeing it for the first time had shaken her up but Donna knew it was still there even without her being able to see it or feel it.

"You're going to travel in Time that will get rid of it and put everything back to how it should be so that the Doctor and his family are alive." The ‘Blond’ woman explained to Donna.

Donna ended up wearing a strange coat full of wires. She was still listening to the ‘Blond’ woman.

"The TARDIS has tracked down the moment of intervention. Monday the twenty fifth of June two thousand and six, one minute past ten in the morning. Your car was on Little Sutton Street leading to the Ealing Road in Chiswick, but you turned right heading towards Griffin's Parade. You need to turn left. That's the most important thing. You've got to go back and turn left. Have you got that, Donna? One minute past ten in the morning, make yourself turn left no matter what you must turn left, heading for the Chiswick High Road. Keep the jacket on at all times, it's insulation against temporal feedback." The ‘Blond’ Woman explained to Donna with some real conviction making sure Donna understood how important everything was she was telling her, the female officer that she met as they entered the warehouse put a kind of watch on Donna's wrist.

"This will correspond to local time wherever you land…. This is to combat dehydration." The female officer explained while giving her a cup full of liquid to drink. Which Donna did after checking the watch.

"How d'you know it's going to work?" Donna asked the ‘Blond’ woman.

"Hmm? Oh... Yeah... We, we don't. We're just... We're just guessing." The ‘Blond’ woman answered Donna as if it was no real concern.

"Yeah. Oh, brilliant!" Donna replied with her witty and sarcastic attitude.

"Just remember, when you get to the junction, change the car's direction by one minute past ten that is the most important thing you must turn left." The ‘Blond’ woman instructed Donna with real conviction in her voice.

"How do I do that?" Donna asked.

"It's up to you." The ‘Blond’ woman answered Donna knowing what she would have to do but not telling her.

"Well, I just have to... Run up to myself and... Have a good argument." Donna explained aloud after deciding the best course of action.

"I'd like to see that! Good luck Donna." The ‘Blond’ woman told Donna with a laugh.

“I'm ready…. Cos, I understand, now. You said I was gonna die, but you mean this whole world, it's gonna blink out of existence. But that's not dying. Because a better world takes its place. The Doctor's and his family’s world and I'm still alive! That's right, isn't it? I don't die. if I change things, I don't die. That's... That's right, isn't it?" Donna explained and then asked looking at the ‘blond’ woman for reassurance, but Donna could see she was wrong as she got near to the end asking despondently, she remembered what the ‘Blond’ woman had said to her when they watched the sky burn when she came with her she had to be certain because she would die.

"I'm sorry." The ‘Blond’ woman told Donna with genuine sympathy.

"But I can't die! I've got a future! With the Doctor and his family…. You told me!" Donna explained to the ‘Blond’ Woman only to suddenly see sparks flying everywhere as white see through energy started to form up around Donna spinning around her more and more until Donna was engulfed in white light, then she disappeared. Donna reappeared on an ordinary street. Donna looked around, then threw her arms into the air, laughing in victory she had done it she was back in Chiswick and it hadn’t been destroyed by nuclear radiation, she dropped her hands and Donna took a better look at her surroundings and where she had travel through Time to.

"But.... Hold on.... But this is.... I'm not.... This is Sutton Court not Chiswick High Road! I'm half a mile away! I'm half a mile away!" Donna exclaimed as she looked around at where she had landed and recognised where she was then Donna looked at the watch the officer had put on her wrist and told her would correspond to the time where she would Time travel to.

"It's nine fifty seven. Four minutes? I've only got four minutes Oh, my God." Donna spoke in shock after seeing the time on the right watch for the time where she was and then Donna started to run trying to get to Little Sutton Street. Donna was gasping, checking the watch in despair.

"I'm not gonna get there." Donna exclaimed seeing the time on the watch. Then she suddenly seemed to understand what the ‘Blond’ woman meant. Donna saw a large blue van driving up Chiswick High Road. She knew she had no choice if she wanted herself to turn left and so taking a deep breath Donna stepped right in front of the van, the driver tried to stop but it was too late. A woman screamed in horror. The crash stopped the traffic the jam was now reaching the junction off Little Sutton Street, blocking the way to the right of Chiswick High Road for the other Donna and her mother.

"The traffic's stopping." Past Donna said to her mother who was sat in the car with her she had already switched the indicator to the right but now that way was blocked.

"Something must have happened!" Donna’s mother explained to her.

The other Donna was lying on the ground, she opened her eyes and saw the ‘Blond’ woman leaning over her.

"Tell him this." The ‘Blond’ woman spoke bending down to Donna so she could hear her and then the ‘Blond’ woman whispered something into Donna's ear. Donna's eyes closed and her head fell to the side.

"Well, that decides it. I'm not sitting in a traffic jam all morning mother. I'm going left." Donna switched the indicator back and turned to the left.

The word "left" echoed as Donna, sitting in the fortune teller's tent screamed. Events of the alternate world rewound images flashing quickly through her head, then the beetle fell off her back, twitching weakly before it died. The fortune teller cowered in the corner, terrified.

"What the hell is that?" Donna demanded of the fortune teller pointing to the dead bug.

"You were so strong. What are you? What will you become? What will you become?" The fortune teller asked Donna in horror and then she fled. The Doctor, the Master and Harry walked into the tent about a minute later after realising she wasn’t with them and Shan Shen was so big it was easy to get lost.

"Everything all right?" The Doctor asked Donna looking at her in concern.

"Oh, God!" Donna said and ran to hug the Doctor first then the Master then moved on to Harry.

"What was that for?" The Doctor asked Donna laughing.

"I don't know!" Donna told them all she was so happy to see them, she hugged them all again. The Doctor, the Master, Harry and Donna were sat in the tent that belonged to the fortune teller looking over the dead bug well the Doctor and the Master were with their screwdrivers. Harry asked her if she could remember what went on. Something was wrong he just didn't know what.

"Can't remember. It's slowly slipping away. You know, like when you try and think of a dream, it like you can’t remember it the more you wake up." Donna tried to explain to Harry.

"You just got lucky, this thing. It's one of the Trickster's brigade. Changes a life in tiny little ways. Most times, the universe just compensates around it, but with you... Great big parallel world!" The Doctor explained with pride while still holding the bug the Master and the Doctor had scanned with their screwdrivers.

"Hold on, you said parallel worlds are sealed off. That to breach another universe would cause damage that took the closing of a universe totally to reverse it." Donna explained to the three of them knowing about SATURN and what it could do but also what it caused if it was used to go to another universe.

"They are. But you had one created around you. Funny thing is, seems to be happening a lot to you!" The Doctor told Donna with interest.

"How d'you mean?" Donna asked confused the whole ordeal had left her confused.

"Well, The Library and then this." The Doctor stated while putting the bug down.

"Just.... Goes with traveling. I suppose.” Donna answered the Doctor over what he had said in the end.

"Sometimes I think there's way too much coincidence around you, Donna. I met you once. Then the Arbitrator’s met your grandad twice. I've met him once, Then I met you again. In the whole wide universe, I met you for a second time and the Arbitrator met your grandad twice. It's like something's binding us all together." The Doctor explained to Donna.

"Don't be so daft. I'm nothing special." Donna exclaimed to that statement.

"Yes, you are, you're brilliant." The Doctor told Donna with a smile while looking at her. The Doctors words remind Donna of the ‘Blond’ Woman saying the same.

"She said that." Donna explained to the Doctor, the Master and Harry.

"Who did?" The Master asked Donna.

"That woman... I can't remember." Donna explained the whole ordeal was still slipping away.

"Well, she never existed now." The Doctor explained this time.

"No, but she said... The stars... She said the stars are going out." Donna explained again.

"Yeah, but that world's gone." The Doctor tried to explain to Donna.

"No, but she said it was all worlds. Every universe. She said the darkness is coming, even here.” Donna carried on explaining to them all.

“Who was she?” The Doctor asked with real interest.

"I don't know." Donna replied trying to think about it.

"What did she look like?" The Doctor asked next putting power behind his words trying to make Donna remember now.

"She was... (flashback of the ‘Blond’ woman) Blond." Donna replied without much choice remembering through the Doctors command, but it was still slipping away.

"What was her name?" The Doctor asked very seriously and with suspicion, then the Doctor looked at the Master and Harry after speaking.

"I don't know! She never said she would never tell me I think." Donna tried to explain to the three of them again, as Donna had said it was all slipping away.

"Donna, what was her name?" The Doctor demanded putting as much power into his command as he could.

"But she told me... To warn you. She said... Two words." Donna carried on pulling the images up as the Doctor tried to force her to remember.

"What two words? What were they? What did she say?" The Doctor demanded again with power in his questions pulling the information out of her.

"Bad Wolf." Donna told them and all three looked at her, shocked.

"Well, what does it mean?" Donna demanded But the Doctor, the Master and Harry had all jumped up and ran out of the tent without answering, Donna rushed after them. As the Doctor, the Master and Harry looked around outside, "Bad Wolf" was written everywhere: on the banners, the posters, even on the TARDIS itself had posters with it written all over her front, every piece of text was replaced by those two words. Terrified, the Doctor, the Master and Harry ran inside the TARDIS followed by Donna. The interior was lit by red lights and the cloister bell was ringing.

"What's going on?" Donna demanded again but now she was scared she could see all the Time Lords faces. Whatever it was wasn't good.

"Time is returning, retuning to our universe, she has unfinished business." The Doctor spoke in shock to Donna while looking at the Master and Harry.

"This is what I saw, the message is not Bad Wolf itself. Donna try to think, really hard. Every time you met her, did she have a necklace with a big silver disk with yellow inside?" Harry demanded at the end putting his own power into the words spoken trying to force her to remember like the Doctor had done.

"Erm…. I didn't notice at first I don't think, but yes at the end I think she did yes when she leaned over me to say those two words it dangled down." Donna started off really unsure but at the end she seemed confident.

"What does it all mean though?" Donna asked again.

"It means that we are in trouble and need to get back to Earth immediately it’s still there we need to get a move on time is short and Death is coming from outside, we could be in real trouble here." Harry spoke with such intensity it threw everyone into motion the Master, the Doctor and Harry were running around the console pressing leavers and buttons until they suddenly started to move with the brakes still on, but Harry really wasn't bothered about that the timeline was aligning into one and they could lose the Earth. Donna could see the Doctor and the Master were seriously worried, their son though looked to Donna as though he was just plain petrified it was as though even though he was busy, he knew more than the Doctor and the Master did to Donna. Harry was running around the console unit setting everything up as quickly as he could the Earth was still there in the timelines, but it was combining into one without it.

Some of that fear let up from Harry when the TARDIS stopped moving and Donna could regain her balance from the landing. The Doctor, Master and Harry ran from the TARDIS through her door out on to the street it was daylight and after quickly talking to the local milkman found out it was a Saturday.

"Good, good, I like Saturdays nothing happens on a Saturday." The Doctor said in relief Donna had followed the other three out and could see them all looking more relaxed.

"So, I just met Rose Tyler then the Bad Wolf?" Donna asked the Doctor.

"Yeah." The Doctor told Donna subdued, a look of worry still on his face it was also still on the Masters and Donna didn't think it was because of Rose.

"I thought she was locked away in a parallel universe you told me?" Donna asked the Doctor. But he didn’t answer.

"Exactly. If she can cross from her parallel world to your parallel world, then that means the walls of the universes are breaking down. Which puts everything in danger, everything! But how?!" The Master explained then asked still with a look of worry on his face. Harry was stood near the open doors of the TARDIS, Harry was scared to be too far away from her. The Master saw where Harry was stood before remembering what he had said when they talked about taking the Doctors and his relationship further and moved nearer to the TARDIS himself. The Doctor looked over at the Master and Harry and saw where they both were, the Doctor made for the TARDIS as well, actually going into her the others quickly followed. The Doctor, the Master and Harry were looking over the console unit instruments just as Donna shut the door and the whole TARDIS rumbled and shook.

"What the hell was that?" Donna demanded to know.

"That came from outside." The Doctor exclaimed in shock. The Doctor, the Master and Harry were all checking the same instruments to see what was going on. Then the three of them ran to the door and yanked it open and looked outside, they were in space, with nothing but several asteroids around. Donna joined them and they all stared at the empty space outside.

"But we're in space. How did that happen?" Donna asked totally shocked the Master, the Doctor and Harry looked at each other and ran back to the console.

"What did you do?" Donna demanded to know still looking out of the TARIDS doors.

"We haven't moved, we're fixed... Can't have! No!" The Doctor spoke in total shock while he looked at Harry in disbelief, the Doctor ran back to the door.

"The TARDIS is still in the same place. But the Earth has gone. The entire planet. It's gone." The Doctor exclaimed actually sounding really worried now as he gazed out in total shock.

"This is what I've seen, I said something had to happen to something, I never realised it before, your right realities do bend around Donna not the other way around, this is what I saw the Earth disappearing the thing I couldn't see was the bug and what it would do to Donna if ever used on her, I couldn't see it none of us could until after. It was as though it was meant to be. But the power to shift a whole planet, we're going to need help and maybe be able to wipe the slate clean.” Harry explained and then suggested which was the best outcome he could see through all of the permutations of the timelines.

"You want us to go to the Shadow Proclamation?" The Master asked with distaste.

"They could help us with our search, yes, it's the best timeline I can see to follow at the moment." Harry explained while looking at the Doctor and the Master.

"Well Donna it looks like were taking you to the Shadow proclamation." The Doctor told Donna as the Doctor shut the door and moved over to the console unit to be with the Master and Harry.

"Hold on what about my family my friends, if the Earths just gone?" Donna asked.

"We will get it sorted Donna we knew this was a possibility a while ago we are prepared as we will be for this confrontation and that is what it will be, if someone is trying to bring death to every universe then they will meet the real deal. We are Lords of Time and nothing can hide from us we always eventually find them." The Master with conviction. The Master truly believed that Harry would not let this stand and the Doctor and Master would be with Harry all the way as they had promised.

"Doctor, you do the talking they will remember us from before, but this will wipe the slate clean with them from our past. You will have to tell them we're Time Lords and not just a bedtime story, don’t let on I’m anything but an ordinary Time Lord tot though, we do not want that getting out!" Harry informed the Doctor it seemed the Master had caught on as well because he had a little smirk it seemed they wouldn't be indebted to them after all.
They arrived in a corridor they had used before and all four stepped out the Doctor in the lead, they were met by a party of Judoon.

"Sco bo tro no flo jo ko fo. To to!" The lead Judoon spoke as soon as he saw the party of four.

"No bo ho sho ko ro to so. Bo, ko, do, zo, go, bo, fo, po, jo! [The Judoon lowered their guns] Mo ho." The Doctor replied for all of them. They were led into a main room with computer consoles set up at desks, one of the women looking over the others working looked at the three so called Time Lords.

"Time Lords are the stuff of legend. They belong in the myths and whispers of the Higher Species. You cannot possibly be ones." The woman overlooking the others told them she was blond with red eyes dressed in black, the females here were not the same as the ones who had agreed to sort out the Asperians for the Doctor when the Doctor, the Master and Harry had come to see them over their persecution of the people living on Procule.

"Yeah, more to the point, we've got a missing planet!" The Doctor said to the woman who had address them working out she was in charge for the time being.

"Then you're not as wise as the stories would say. The picture is far bigger than you imagine. The whole universe is in outrage, Time Lords. Twenty four worlds have been taken from the universe.” The same female that had spoken before replied to the Doctor.

"How many? Which ones? Show me!" The Doctor demanded of her going to their main computer on one of the desks that was empty and pulling the information up, with the Master and Harry next to him.

"Locations range far and wide. But all disappeared at the exact same moment. Leaving no trace." She spoke with a haughty voice.

"Callufrax Minorr. Jahoo. Shallacatop. Woman Wept... Clom! Clom's gone! Who'd want Clom?" The Master asked after reading the list along with the Doctor and Harry.

"All different sizes, some populated, some not. But all unconnected." The same female explained to the three of them while they were still reading over the list of planets that had been taken.

"What about Pyrovillia?" Donna asked sitting down on the steps that led to another level. While the Doctor, the Master and Harry still looked over the information on the planets.

"Who is the female?" The same female asked with a condescending voice.

"Donna! I'm a human being. Maybe not the stuff of legend but every bit as important as Time Lords, thank you." Donna told the woman with her usual attitude. The Doctor looked up from the computer and gave Donna a proud smile.

"When we were in Pompeii, they said Pyrovillia had gone missing." Donna explained to them. The three Time Lords were still looking over the information.

"Pyrovillia is cold case. Not relevant!" A Judoon explained to Donna.

"How d'you mean, cold case?" Donna asked him. It was the same female who answered though.

"The planet Pyrovillia cannot be part of this, it disappeared over two thousand years ago." The female explained contradicting Donna.

"Yes, yes, hang on... But there's the Adipose breeding planet too, Miss Foster said that was lost, but that must've been a long time ago also." Donna again tried to explain, they could go to any Time in this universe.

"That's it! Donna, brilliant! Planets are being taken out of Time as well as space... Let's put this into three-D... Now, if we add Pyrovillia... And Adipose three... Something missing. Where else, where else, where else, where else... lost, lost, lost, lost... Oh! The Lost Moon of Poosh!" The Doctor shouted to Donna then went through the other missing planets that he knew about. As the Doctor added the last one, the holograms suddenly moved and rearranged themselves.

"What did you do?" The female who was in charge and had been talking with them all along demanded of the Doctor.

"Nothing. The planets rearranged themselves into the optimum pattern. Oh, look at that! Twenty seven planets in perfect balance. Come on, that is gorgeous!" The Doctor explained then exclaimed at the end looking at the hologram in admiration.

"Oi, don't get all spacemen, what does it mean?" Donna demanded in her usual attitude to the three Time Lords again.

"All those worlds fit together like pieces of an engine. It's like a powerhouse, but what for?" the Master explained then asked the Doctor and Harry hoping one of them had the answer.

"Who could design such a thing?" The same woman demanded of the Doctor and the Master not bothering to ask Harry thinking him a child as he looked like one.

"Someone tried to move the Earth once before. Long time ago... Can't be." The Doctor said to himself but the Master, Harry, Donna and all the shadow proclamation workers heard him and as the Doctor and Master looked at each other they looked suddenly as scared as Harry had.

"We need to find the Earth!" The Doctor told the Master and Harry with worry in his voice.

"Donna was there anything strange going on back on Earth during your time there before you started traveling with us? You were working for a Newspaper." Harry questioned Donna, trying to find answers.

"Nothing really…. Well, none that I can think of…. Although…There were the bees that were missing that was a big headline because of the Honeys and other things they are needed for." Donna finally answered.

“The bees were missing…. The bees were missing." The Doctor repeated to himself trying to work it out the Master and Harry were as well.

"No, they were leaving to go home Vespiform’s we need to find that trail!" The Master spoke in realisation with some urgency. The Master, the Doctor and Harry ran into the TARDIS and started to look for the Tandocca Scale the wavelength the Vespiform left as they travelled through space. Donna had followed them and was stood just outside the doors. Donna watched the Doctor the Master and Harry run about the console unit inputting things into it looking at the only screen the console unit had as they altered things trying to find the Tandocca scale.

"What is it?" Donna demanded coming into the TARIDS so she could see better when she saw them all looking at something together on the screen.

"The Tandocca Scale it’s a series of wavelengths used as carrier signals, by migrant Vespiform’s. Infinitely small, no wonder we didn't see it! It’s like looking for a speck of sugar in a fine salt factory but look! There it is. The Tandocca trail. The transmat that moved the planets was using the same wavelength, we can follow the path!" The Doctor explained to Donna.

When they confirmed their findings with the Shadow Proclamation there was a bit of trouble, the Shadow Proclamation wanted to declare all-out war right across the universe with all of their fleets and the Doctor and Master leading them into battle, but the Doctor said instead of war being declared they would take care of it to wipe their slate clean for the help the Shadow Proclamation had given them in the past with the Asperians bombing the home world of Procule. The woman in charge wasn't happy about this but wasn't given much time to consider it as the Doctor ran back into the TARDIS shutting the doors while the Master and Harry were working at the console unit setting everything up so that they could get ready to follow the trail and hopefully find the Earth.

Back on Earth things were not going well, it had gone dark outside and looking up into the dark sky they could see all the other planets around them. All the alien specialists were trying to work out was happening, Sarah Jane Smith and Luke were using Mr. smith the computer to find out what had happened. UNIT were panicking all over and declaring a code red and Torchwood were tracking all the incoming ships that were heading their way from the centre of wherever they were. As the ships moved closer to Earth all three sets of teams including the one with Martha Jones on it heard the broadcast first from the ships and all their blood froze now all they could do was pray.

"Exterminate, exterminate, exterminate!" Came from all the speakers of everyone that was able to pick their communication up.

Jack grabbed his team apologising to them as Sirius tried to phone his godson to tell him what had happened, Sarah was holding Luke saying he was too young to die. Jack phoned Martha just as her commanding officer was ordering her to follow him to project indigo, once she had it on, he offered her a key and demanded that if she needed to use the key she was to that it was a direct order from her commanding officer. Jack begged her not to use project indigo, but it was too late she pulled the cords on the machine and disappeared. When asked by his team what had happened to her Jack explained that her atoms had just been spread throughout space as they weren't ready for that project yet, it was a prototype transport device from when the Sontaran’s had tried to set the ATMOS devices off earlier that year, but they didn’t know how the transporting feature worked on it.

Donna's grandad was out on the street demanding his daughter go back inside the house.

"It's them aliens up above, you get inside love, they always want the women, what do you want you swine’s?” Wilfred told his daughter but shouted the last while moving his cricket bat around in one hand ready to hit anything, he had his paintball gun in his other. Both Wilfred and his daughter carried on walking and then looked around a corner of a ginnel to see everyone lined up on the street by metal machines that were giving out orders to all the people that lived there. One man lobbed a brick at one of the machines ushering his family back into their house. That house disappeared in a ball of flames when three of the metal machines shot at it. Wilfred’s daughter had managed to pull Wilfred back into the side street off theirs when they were set upon by another metal machine. Wilfred hit it in the eye only for it to burn the paint off as he was cheering, then they both looked terrified as it spoke to them. Suddenly the whole top of the dalek disappeared hit from behind.

"Here you want to swap?" Wilfred asked to the woman who had shot the top off the machine with the gun she was carrying after seeing the damage she had done with it.

"You're Donna Nobles family, aren't you? I need your help." Rose Tyler asked then explained, as she hefted her gun. They were back in the living room of the Nobel household discussing things Wilfred was explaining to both his daughter and Rose Tyler who had by this time introduced herself that Donna was out there that the Arbitrator Donna had brought to meet them wasn't human he was the Doctors and Master’s son who were all Time Lords.

"So, they are all together, the Doctor, the Master, the Arbitrator and Donna? They are all traveling together?" Rose asked Wilfred as he seemed to know what was going on, his daughter seemed to be in shock at what Donna had really been doing when she thought that she was only traveling around the world she never imagines she was traveling through space and Time.

"Yes, but I can't get through to any of them I've tried ringing Donna’s phone but there's no answer, I was told I could always phone her with my mobile the Arbitrator put a program on both Donna’s and my phone and informed me I would be able to reach her anywhere no matter where she was in space or what time she was in so that we could stay in touch but it would work to my timeline something about her being gone for months but it might only be a week for me but he assured me it would work and it did last week she was on some planet sunning herself!" Wilfred explained while he was also holding his daughter in his arms as she had seemed to go into shock, she realised she had been putting Donna down and Donna was doing something that no one else ever would that she knew in her lifetime seeing other aliens and planets out in space in the future and in the past. Rose sat on one of the sofas in the living room, looking like she had lost all hope, Rose was watching the televison and what it was showing that the Earth had surrendered to the dalek invasion, but it seemed to be making no difference to the daleks.

"You will obey dalek instructions without question. You will obey your dalek ma" The daleks spoke, but their transmission was cut off by a beep and then a female voice came from the laptop that was on the coffee table.

"Can anyone hear me? The Subwave Network is open. You should be able to hear my voice... Is there anyone there?" A woman's voice came through the laptop.

"Can anyone hear me?" Spoke the woman’s voice again.

Luke and Sarah Jane were arguing over not being able to help. Luke and Sarah Jane had tried phoning SATURN as Harry had given Luke the infinity formula on his mobile to SATURN, but nothing happened. Then Sarah Jane thought the message trying to come through was just some pour soul looking for help

"Processing incoming sound wave." Mr. Smith the computer told them both in the mechanical voice he had. The screen was all white noise but slowly the outline of a figure started to appear.

"This message is of the utmost importance. We haven't much time... Can anyone hear me?" Harriet Jones asked through the computer.

Jack looked at the transmission Gwen was working on.

"The whole world's crying out. Just leave it." Jack told Gwen, all the military bases had now been destroyed by the daleks even UNIT and they had lost the valiant within minutes of it trying to fight the daleks off Jack didn’t see the point of trying to help someone they couldn’t they couldn’t do anything themselves Sirius had tried to phone SATRUN but again like with Luke the call wouldn’t go though and Sirius was worried about his godson, but Sirius also hoped that the Doctor, the Master and Harry would come along soon and help them.

"Captain Jack Harkness, shame on you! Now stand to attention, sir!" Spoke the woman that was trying to get through.

"What?" Jack asked shocked as he ran to the terminal.

"Who is that?" Jack demanded to the screen as it was coming into focus.

"Harriet Jones, former Prime Minister." Harriet Jones replied to Jack holding her former prime minister identification card up.

"Yeah, I know who you are." Jack replied to Harriet Jones.

Back at the Nobles house Rose had stood up looking at the laptop.

"Harriet! It's me, it's me. It’s Rose Tyler Oh, she can't hear me... Have you got a webcam for your laptop?" Rose shouted into the laptop then asked Wilfred noticing it didn’t have a built-in camera and there wasn’t one connected to it.

"No, she wouldn't let me, she said they're to naughty." Wilfred explained pointing to his daughter.

"I can't speak to her then, can I?" Rose said she sounded dejected.

"Sarah Jane Smith, thirteen Bannerman Road.... Are you there?" Harriet Jones next asked and both Luke and Sarah Jane ran to Mr. Smith.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm here! Yeah, that's me!" Sarah Jane shouted into Mr. Smith.

“Good…. Now let's see if we can talk to each other." Harriet Jones told them all and then she pushed some keys on the keyboard she was using, and the screen got divided into four parts, Harriet Jones was on one section, the Torchwood hub Cardiff was on another section and Sarah Jane appeared on the third section of the screen, while there was just white noise on the fourth place.

"The fourth contact seems to be having some trouble getting through…. I'll just boost the signal!" Harriet Jones stated to the other two sections and Martha Jones appeared on the screen in the fourth section.

"Hello?" Marth Jones asked as she appeared into the fourth section connected to the other three.

"Martha Jones!" Jack shouted out in relief.

"Martha, where are you?" Jack demanded off her straight after.

"I guess Project Indigo was cleverer than we thought. One second, I was in Manhattan.... Next second…. I'm at home. Maybe project Indigo tapped into my mind. Cos, I ended up in the one place that I wanted to be. With my Mum!" Martha explained to Jack about the transport technology she had used to get out of Manhattan before all the members of UNIT there were killed. Francine hugged Martha, Martha and Francine were sitting in front of Martha’s laptop.

"You came home.... At the end of the world, you came back to me." Francine explained with tears running down her face hugging Martha.

"But then all of a sudden, it's like the laptop turned itself on." Martha carried on explaining.

"It did. That was me. Harriet Jones, former Prime Minister." Harriet Jones introduced herself showing her identification card to Martha.

"Yes, I know who you are." Martha replied to Harriet.

"I thought it was about time we all met. Given the current crisis. Torchwood, this is Sarah Jane Smith." Harriet Jones explained then introduced Sarah Jane to everyone that was now on the other sections of the screens.

"I've been following your work. Nice job with the Adipose." Jack spoke while looking over to Sirius who was still busy on his own phone still trying to contact SATURN.

"Yeah, well I've been staying away from Torchwood. Too many guns I have a son!" Sarah Jane answered while looking at Luke.

"All the same, might I say, looking good, ma'am." Jack told Sarah Jane while saluting with his checky smile.

"Not now, Captain. And Martha Jones, former companion to the Doctor." Harriet Jones addressed Martha.

"But how did you find me?" Martha asked Harriet.

"This, ladies and gentlemen, this is the Subwave Network. A sentient piece of software, programmed to seek out anyone and everyone who can help to contact the Doctor." Harriet Jones explained to them all.

"What if the Daleks can hear us?" Martha asked Harriet with worry in her voice.

"No, that's the beauty of the Subwave Network, it's undetectable." Harriet Jones explained to them all.

"A…. And you invented it?" Sarah Jane asked Harriet impressed.

"I developed it. It was created by the Mr Copper Foundation." Harriet Jones explained to all of them that were connected to the conversation she was having with the other three.

"Yeah, but what we need right now is a weapon. Martha, back there at UNIT, what… What did they give you, what was that key thing?" Jack asked Martha puzzled he had never heard of it which was a bit of a shock to him.

"The Osterhagen Key." Martha replied to Jack.

"That key is not to be used, Dr Jones. Not under any circumstances!" Harriet Jones told Martha with the authority of a Prime Minister even though she wasn’t one anymore.

"But what is an Osterhagen Key?" Jack demanded over Harriet’s protests.

"Forget about the key and that's an order! All we need is the Doctor." Harriet Jones told Jack again with a no nonsense attitude.

"Oh, excuse me, Harriet, but, well the thing is, if you're looking for the Doctor and his family... Didn't he depose you?" Sarah Jane asked Harriet with worry in her voice.

"He did. And I've wondered about that for a long time. Whether I was wrong, but I stand by my actions, to this day. Because I knew, I knew that one day, the Earth would be in danger, and the Doctor would fail to appear. I told him so myself. And he didn't listen." Harriet Jones told them sticking to her guns but she didn’t know about the Doctor having a family, but there were more important things to worry about.

"But I've been trying to find him. The Doctor and his family have got my phone in the TARDIS, but I can't get through." Martha explained to them all while holding her new mobile phone up to the screen.

"That's why we need the Subwave Network. To bring us all together and to combine forces. The Doctors secret army." Harriet Jones explained.

"He has his husband and son back with him now Harriet and we can’t get through to them either…. Wait a minute! We boost the signal! That's it! We transmit that telephone number through Torchwood itself, using all the power of the Rift its better than contacting the Arbitrator through SATURN if we contact the TARDIS then they can all come to help us!" Jack explained then he Exclaimed the rest working it out looking over to Sirius who was still trying to get through to SATURN but stopped when he realised that Jack would need his and the rest of the teams help to set this up and it was better to contact the TARDIS than just SATURN.

"And we've got Mr Smith! He can link up with every telephone exchange on the Earth. He can get the whole world to call the same number, all at the same time! Billions of phones, calling out, all at once it should go through to the TARDIS, the Arbitrators not answering SATURN and it would only bring him through not the TARDIS!” Luke explained to all the others on the screen with him and his mother.

"Haha, brilliant! Who's the kid?" Jack asked Sarah Jane.

That's my son, we've met them all the Doctor, the Master and their son the Arbitrator with Sirius!" Sarah Jane answered Jack and the others that were listening in.

"Excuse me, sorry, sorry, hello, Ianto Jones here. Um, if we start transmitting, then this Subwave Network is going to become visible. I mean to the daleks." Ianto explained.

"Yes, and they'll trace it back to me. But my life doesn't matter. Not if it saves the Earth." Harriet Jones told them all with conviction in her voice.

"Ma'am." Jack spoke seriously while standing at attention and saluting her knowing what she was sacrificing for this to work.

"Thank you, Captain. But there are people out there dying, on the streets. Now enough of words. Let's begin!" Harriet Jones said first them told them all which made everyone start to work frantically to get the signal through to the TARDIS.

"Rift power activated! All terminals coordinated! National grid online... Giving you everything we've got!" Jack explained and he watched his team working together to set it up.

"Connecting you to Mr Smith! All Telephone Networks combined!" Luke announced what he had done with the help of his mother and Mr. Smith the computer.

"Sending you the number... Now!" Martha explained to them all.

"Opening Subwave Network to maximum." Harriet Jones explained what she was doing to them all.

"Mr Smith... Make that call!" Sarah Jane told the computer.

"Calling the TARDIS." Mr. Smith spoke in a mechanical voice that he had.

"Aaand sending! The signal is beaming out into space." Jack informed everyone at the end as the signal was sent out into space.

Inside the TARDIS, Martha's mobile rang snapping the Doctor, the Master and Harry out of their lethargy. The trail had just ended at the Medusa Cascade nothing from there further and this was its weakest point.

"Phone!" Donna shouted to the obvious.

"Pere, phone!" Harry told the Doctor demandingly.

"Martha, is that you? It's a signal!" The Doctor answered the mobile and then explained after listening to it, the Doctor looked at Harry.

"Can we follow it?" Donna asked not seeing the look.

"Oh, just watch us Donna we are good, lets follow it you two!" The Doctor said, the Master and Harry started to work with the Doctor to set the phone up to the navigator and get the TARDIS to pilot the course to follow where the signal was coming from.
.
.
.
.

"Dalek Emergency! Unknown Network detected! Subwave frequency!" A dalek spoke that was processing all communications throughout the Medusa Cascade that the daleks had set up in.

"Find the point of origin. Find and exterminate!" A dalek in red up on a stationary platform up above all those on the floor ordered. All the others were the normal gold colour even the ones flying about above it.

“I warned you, Supreme One... Just as Dalek Caan foretold. The Children of Time are moving against us. But everything is falling into place as he told us it would." Someone from an intercom spoke to the red dalek.
.
.
.
.

"I think we've got a fix!" Sirius shouted then looked up in relief Sirius hoped to everything that the Master, the Doctor and Harry would come to the rescue.

"Mr Smith, now at 200 per cent! Oh, come on answer someone!" Sarah begged out loud so everyone could hear her.
.

Rose, Wilfred and his daughter were phoning too. Rose was holding her mobile up high above her head as though trying to get a better signal.

"Find me, Doctor. Find me." Rose exclaimed virtually begging for the Doctor to come to the rescue with the rest of his family.
.
.
.
.

"Got it! Locking on." Harry shouted suddenly and he pulled a lever, the TARDIS shook violently. The TARDIS was lit by red lights again and there were flames everywhere in the control room.

"We're travelling through Time. One second into the future! The phone call's pulling us through!" The Doctor shouted as the TARDIS continued to shake while he was looking at the navigator and more fires erupted in the control room.
.
.
.
.

"Harriet! A saucer's locked on to your location, they've found you." Gwen Cooper shouted to Harriet as she was put in charge of monitoring the dalek spaceships and ground troops by Jack once the Subwave Network was beaming out into space.

"I know. I'm using the Subwave Network to mask your transmission. Keep going!" Harriet Jones told them all still typing away at her computer.

"Captain, I'm transferring the Subwave Network to Torchwood. You're in charge now. And tell the Doctor and family from me... He chose his companions well. It's been an honour." Harriet Jones told Jack as she typed away on her keyboard to do just as she said she would, then Harriet stood up to face the three daleks that were smashing their way into her house.

"Harriet Jones. Former Prime Minister." Harriet Jones announced holding up her identification card to the three daleks.

"Yes, we know who you are." The metallic voice of one of the daleks spoke.

"Oh, you know nothing of any human. And that will be your downfall." Harriet Jones responded to the daleks knowing the Doctor and his family were on their way to save them all.

"Exterminate!" The metallic voice of one of the dalek’s replied to Harriet. Then one of the other daleks in Harriet’s house shot her with its ray gun. The others who were connected to Harriet’s computer watched in horror as the part of the screen that was transmitted from Harriet house turned into white noise.
.
.
.

"Three! Two! One!" The Master shouted out and one by one, the lost planets appear around the TARDIS. The console room turned back to normal but there was a lot of damage done through the fires that raged through it as they were pulled through Time by the phone call and they were all watching the screen now showing all twenty seven planets with something at the centre

"Twenty seven planets, and there's the Earth! Why couldn't we see them?" Donna exclaimed then asked.

"The entire Medusa Cascade has been put a second out of sync with the rest of the universe. Perfect hiding place, tiny little pocket of Time. But we found them! Oh, oh, what's that? Hold on, hold on, some sort of Subwave Network." The Doctor explained to Donna then the others. The Subwave Network appeared on the TARDIS monitor, now showing the Doctor, the Master, Harry and Donna, where Harriet Jones used to be.
