Chapter 1
The Doctor and the Master sat at the table listening to Sirius and Jack argue over the boy who had just left. Eventually even Sirius conceded that he couldn't really ground Harry anyway.
"What?" The Doctor asked shocked looking at the two of them strangely.
"What do you mean he can travel through Time, space and Reality at will?" The Doctor asked still not all there it couldn't be it wasn't possible even though the others believed it, the Doctor believed Harry was a tot but traveling throughout reality, that couldn't be possible.
Sirius looked at the Doctor still not happy with him but eventually told the Doctor everything from Harry coming through the vail, that Harry had come because others of his kind needed refuge and it had really hurt Harry and it still was especially on the day that the universe was closed off to him which was this week, then Sirius explained that the Real Unspeakables had given him seven days and he still had four day and twelve hour left before they closed the breach just as Harry was finishing up why he needed refuge and getting the agreements sorted out, the universe Harry came from was cut off, completely closed to prevent universal incursions. Sirius then went on to explain what had been happening since Harry arrived and lived with him because of his mind swapping about so much as they had seen, so Harry went to Disney world to have fun then Harry would return and be settled, as he would be back with his adult mind settled back so he was fine but would never take any of them with him, including himself traveling through Time and space although Sirius didn't think Harry continued to visit other universes out into the whole of realty itself, explaining about the bracer on Harrys arm that allowed Harry to basically do what he wanted. The Doctor and the Master took it all in looking more and more shocked by the minute.
"So, he really is thirty eight yet looks old enough to be about nine and three quarters?" The Doctor finally asked Sirius at the end of the tale.
"Yes, I think physically he is slightly older, but his mental age is why he won't let me ground him, at least he will be back later in the day he always is when I'm home even annoyed at me!" Sirius told the Doctor still not happy over what had gone on.
"Do you have his toothbrush or hair brush I could look at please?" The Doctor asked, and it was only the Master that heard the hope in his voice.
Sirius just looked at the Doctor strangely for a few minutes then nodded and went and got both placing them on the table in front of the Doctor. The Doctor took out his trusty screwdriver and waved it over both while it emitted a soft buzzing sound. The Doctor then turned it sideways and flicked a switch it only for his eyes to widen in absolute shock.
"What did Harry's mother look like?" The Doctor demanded off Sirius with such intensity putting power into the words that Sirius had no choice but to answer. Sirius started to describe Lilly only for the Master to go paler and paler especially as halfway through the Doctor turned his extensive eyes on him in sheer happiness and understanding. By the time Sirius was finished the Doctor's eyes held nothing but happiness and peace. The Master looked terrified for the first time since any of them had met him.
"What's going on? What has gotten into you two?" Sirius suddenly demanded of the pair. The Doctor turned from looking at the Master and turned to Sirius. In a soft gentle voice, the Doctor spoke.
"Around thirty-nine years ago in earths timeline, both of us were on earth, we felt the universal breach in Cardiff and went to investigate, Lilly and another lady called Charlotte were both there looking around using tools to diagnose the rift we had detected, they were actually better at it than we were. We spent two weeks with them both and the Master got to know Lilly well, she could keep up with him and found some of his more humorous trouble funny!" The Doctor explained the last bit looking at the Master with a twinkle in his eye. The Master turned to look at the table and not at the Doctor.
"We spent the two weeks together getting to know different things about each other, on her final night here in this universe from what you've said we spent together on our own, but nothing should have come of it! Our race has to loom tots to reproduce from the parents DNA. It was a curse laid on us long after we had Mastered Time, some were born with both regeneration energy as well as Magical energy. They could bend the universe they were in to their whim it's how ordinary Time Lords came up with dimensional engineering we knew it could be done by Magical Time Lords so a technological equivalent was possible! But Lilly never showed any Magical abilities in front of me." The Master explained.
The Master went quiet here and looked at the Doctor for once looking at him seriously asking if he should go on. the Doctor was slightly shocked to see the Master wanting his advice but nodded just once. The Master was even quieter and subdued as he continued.
"A civil war brewed between the two different factions of our people a very long time ago before we were even thought of being loomed by our parents between the Magical Time Lords and Ladies and the ordinary Time Lords and Ladies. Time Lords and Ladies could match energy for energy, but the ordinary Time Lords and Ladies still resented those with better abilities to manipulate all of the universe in the palm of their hands. It was felt that even though we could manipulate Time we shouldn't be manipulating the universe like they could, it was too much for the ordinary Time Lords and Ladies and so war broke out. The Magicals decided that they needed to leave our society. However even then we could go through Time, space and reality to find them. So, they did something that stopped the war in one go. All bar one Magical Time Lady loaded up onto a single brand new secretly grown Magical Reality Time Traveling Ship, more intuitive and powerful that the ones built by even their people of the time, as I said one Magical Time Lady remained, she stayed on Gallifrey. The others went back to the very beginning of us starting to work out how to travel in Time. Something that no Time Lord or Lady should ever do so you don't cause a paradox and you don't cross your own timeline, they erased the thoughts and abilities needed to be able to travel in reality from everyone's collective memories as well as all their own, only the TARDIS they were on now knew how to go to different universes throughout reality. As I said there was one Magical Time Lady left on Gallifrey however she held all the collective knowledge of the Magicals abilities to use Magic to bend the universe to their whim inside of her mind and had written down what exactly was happening. As soon as the ship disappeared and she lost the information that was wrote down for her, she burnt up the information and then confronted the rest of the High Council of Gallifrey sending the meeting out live throughout the whole of our planet telling them exactly what had gone on and what had been done because of it. Then she laid a curse on those that were left which was only the ordinary Gallifreyans emptying her Magical core to ensure all on Gallifrey and out in space or Time were affected! We would no longer naturally conceive without the help of another Magical Time Lord or Lady of which she was the last. As soon as the curse settled, she dropped dead. Her body was placed in stasis something that should never be done she was a true Time Lady and deserved a Time Ladies funeral, but the High Council forbade it! Every TARDIS at the Time, which was around a million, were sent through Time and space to try to find the Magicals, while everyone else worked on finding a cure to the problem of sterility. Luckily they had the time needed to work on the problem but in the end searching for the others bore no fruit and so everything was turned to bearing children, but nothing worked naturally, eventually the loom came into effect, but even looming the Magical Time Ladies DNA into the loom to try and break the curse didn't work they could no longer create more Magicals so they could conceive naturally again. They had to continue to be loomed, even just the ordinary Gallifreyan. Both the Doctor and I had to be loomed…. If Lilly was a Time lady with Magic…. Then a child could have occurred from that night…. But they left…. We never saw them again after that last night!" The Master eventually finished. Everyone sat around for about five minutes trying to process what they had Just heard until suddenly Sirius' chair crashed to the floor.
"Wait a minute! Are you trying to tell me the psycho in the room is my pups biological father? Harry is the most caring kid I know! He wouldn't try taking over the world like him! He is off his bloody rocker!" Sirius started talking loudly only to continue his voice going angrier and louder at the end, all the while Sirius was pointing at The Master.
"Repeat that Sirius!' Exclaimed a voice and everyone whipped their head to the kitchen door where Harry stood looking gobsmacked, it was Harry that had spoken.
The Master looked over to Harry and stood, he was about to go to him when the Master remembered the bracelet tying him to the Doctor, instead he softly began to croon. Harrys eyes snapped from Sirius' to the Master, it was all instinctual as a tot his parents would make him feel loved, cared for and cherished. The Master lifted both his arms up and Harry walked right into them. Sirius tried to pull Harry away, but they were both hugging the other in a tight embrace Sirius couldn't break.
Before Harry could get hurt the Doctor stopped Sirius and led him back to his seat knowing it wouldn't drag the Master away and sat Sirius down. Taking the seat next to him this time.
"He can't and won't hurt Harry he's just become the most loved and cherished person in existence now to the Master. If as you say and from what we've seen him do, then the Master will behave only so he doesn't upset Harry it will be bad enough the guilt he will have to overcome for trying to kill him in his bid for world domination and even worse because it was his own son that stopped him." The Doctor gently explained to Sirius.
"I still don't like it!" Sirius told the Doctor but he could see the Master now petting and touching Harry's face with one hand while his other hand and arm was around Harry not letting him go. Harry was hugging him back just as fiercely but with both arms, it looked as if Harry was the most beautiful thing in the world to the Master, the way the Master was looking at him and touching him within the hug. Harry just snuggled there feeling comfort and true parental love for the first time Harry could remember both were looking at each other's faces, but neither were quiet in their minds they were talking to each other, sharing their thoughts memories and emotions through a psychic link that as they were using to look through each other's mind the Master turned it into a psychic bond now he knew Harry was his son and the Master suddenly realised. They were talking and looking at the memories in his head and he could think clearly, there was only Harry's thoughts, feeling, memories and emotions along with his own. For the first time since the Master looked into the untempered schism when he was eight years old himself the drums were gone. He fell down into his chair pulling Harry onto his lap.
"They're Gone!" The Master whispered out in shock so suddenly that nearly everyone jumped.
"What?" The Doctor asked gently to the Master.
"The drums talking to Harry there gone I can think for myself…. For the first time." The Master Explained looking at both Harry and the Doctor and both saw the tears dripping down from the Masters eyes Harry just hugged him harder sitting on his knees now with his head resting into the Masters shoulder. The Doctor looked deeply into the Masters eyes before he realised that the Master had allowed him to enter the front of his mind for the first time since they were tot's themselves and he was right he could feel the silence and the clarity of the Masters thoughts he was fully coherent and held such an amount of guilt over the things he had done in the past through hearing a noise in his head.
"How?" The Doctor asked quietly yet again but with a bit of shock.
"They were internal to his mind so I just placed a block around them they were hurting everyone when they were all he could hear and making him sad and irrational, so I stopped them from affecting him anymore!" Harry Explained shrugging still hugging his…. Dad? Harry focused back on the Master's face.
"So, you are where the rest of my DNA comes from?... No one ever knew or at least told me, mum never told anyone other than Sirius and James that my dad was from this universe, but no one was like me I suppose, I only have a tiny bit of human DNA, the others had at least half human DNA mixed in with the alien DNA, nowhere near able to compare to me or mum…. What happened to our planet of origin? I've been looking for it for the last four years. I came here looking for our home planet we needed to re-locate and quickly, but I ran out of time, the agreement had been made with Earth to take us all in until we could return to our home planet and I was getting ready to go back for them to come through, just as they closed and locked our own universe away. I've spent four years looking for the planet of our origin, but I can't even find the solar system it's meant to be in!" Harry asked then explained about the other Real Unspeakables followed by explaining about trying to find Gallifrey.
The Master and the Doctor looked at each other, it was too new for the Master and so the Doctor nodded and began to speak explaining about The Last Great Time War and what he had, had to do to stop it, thinking he was the last Time Lord alive only to find the Master and now Harry, the Doctor explained what had gone on before the Master had gone to the end of the universe and opened his watch and as Harry knew the rest stopped there. The Doctor then went on to explain that as Harry was the Masters son, he was virtually a Magical Time Lord already and they just had to burn out the rest of his small percentage of human DNA and take him to see one of the few free schisms available that wasn't the one on Gallifrey however it would be a very unique experience because the one the Time Lords used at least, was somewhat contained this one would not be.
"Hold on, why would Harry want to do that?" Sirius demanded to know off the Doctor.
"He is virtually a Magical Time Lord already he has a right to his true legacy and be able to see Time also even if we don't activate his full abilities, he obviously inherited the lifespan of a regeneration which means he's still going to be growing up like you said for around another one hundred and sixty two years at least and as a Magical Time Lord he not only could live a very long life but would be ensured his safety by being able to regenerate." The Doctor explained patiently. Sirius went to say something else but was stopped by the Doctor looking straight at Harry.
"Either way it is not our decision, it's Harrys, as to whether he reaches the full potential of his DNA or stays as he is now, but it would mean him coming with us permanently to learn all he would need to!" The Doctor explained while looking at Harry.
"The human DNA is to be burnt out so I can see Time I know that, but if I come with you permanently! Will you allow all of us to live on your time machine and allow the Master his full freedom while he's onboard? I know I'm new to you and you only see a child but I'm an adult up here and I promise the drums in his mind have stopped. I'm sure the Master will let you check for yourself!" Harry asked then Explained quietly to the Doctor his young face not showing the wisdom his eyes did, as Harry explained about his age, Harry tapped his head.
"Harry, I promise you if the drums are really gone and the Master has changed then in a few months I will let you take over his tether for the time being, so you two can explore to your hearts content without always having me watching over your shoulder. I just can't allow him to keep trying to take over different worlds!" The Doctor explained but he spoke with conviction at the end. A twinkle entered Harrys eyes.
"So, you're okay with me doing it then?" Harry asked with a big grin on his face. The Doctor just laughed, and it was a real one off the Doctor for the first times since the Time War ended.
"I might not have known you long but those that do, know just who you are and that is someone who will help no matter what and you love with all your hearts you don't have a mean bone in your body Harry, that is obvious, you do need lessons on using your abilities though, I could hear you shouting out at the Master so I heard the entire conversation!" The Doctor answered but he added the last with a wink. Typically, Harry went red he still couldn't have mental conversations with someone else without coming across as loud.
"So, you will do it, become a full Magical Time Lord?" The Master asked quietly afraid his…. Son…. Would say no.
"Yes, but if I'm to travel with you, you must promise not to treat me like a child, I'm not one I just look it, otherwise I will return to earth and live out my life here!" Harry said while crossing his arms.
"You are my tot I will treat you like a child until I die it's what all parents do, no matter the age of their child but it's built into our biology to take extra care of our tot's. If you do prefer, you can stay on Earth, I'll provide for you and ensure you taught all you need to know, I'll even ask the Doctor to come and bring me to see you whenever you want I will stay with you as long as you will allow me to stay with you so we can get to know each other as I said you are my child, but if you want to become a full Magical Time Lord we need to burn out that human DNA then you need look into the schism soon after, it's already pushing it as you should have done this at a much younger age than you are." The Master explained and offered while looking into Harrys eyes.
"You won't become overbearing you let me do things if I want to, you'll just come along to help me or the other way around if you're teaching me things? Plus, I can and will be coming back to see everyone on Earth whenever I want!" Harry spoke with conviction in his voice to the Master.
The Master looked at the Doctor he was tied to him after all, they would need the TARDIS to do what they needed to do to make him a full Magical Time Lord and then Harry would need to stay on the TARDIS to learn everything he would need to as a Magical Time Lord tot. The Doctor looked at him with a small smile and nodded that he would agree to that.
"I'll still be overprotective but as long as I can see you and keep check on you through the bond, I'll know you're safe so agreed, but if you're going to come with us and to take over my bloody tether then if I say we have to do something you do it straight away then demand an explanation when I tell you it's safe, and no!... That doesn't mean I will tell you we have to take over a planet to be safe!" The Master offered then explained to Harry the most aware and sane the people in the kitchen apart from Sirius had seen him since they visited the end of the universe although the last bit was said for the Doctors benefit.
Harry looked around at everyone, but it was the Doctor that caught his attention again and with a single nod from him his decision was made.
"We'll have to make sure SATURN doesn't mind me traveling without her piloting the course!" Harry explained nodding to the Master and the Doctor agreeing to go with them.
"SATURN?" The Doctor and the Master both asked together not knowing what he meant.
"Yes, she also thinks I'm a child and need constant looking after… I am around thirty eight not three!" Harry explained then exclaimed first looking at the Master then looking down at his forearm as he brought it up showing the metal bracer they had seen before. The Master and the Doctor looked at each other.
"What is that?" The Master asked while the Doctor had taken out his trusty screwdriver and started scanning it or at least trying to only for it not to work very well.
"This is SATURN, Small, Accessible Timeship, Unbreakable and Relatively Natural, condense that down and you get SATURN!" Harry explained showing them the popup screen as well as the holographic display then the buttons and knobs on the keyboard section, both the Master and the Doctor were shocked that they couldn't read it, that should have been impossible.
"Where did you get this?" The Master asked tapping Harry's forearm where SATURN was.
"From home, I was the only one who she reached out to, the language is a derivative of our original home, the language was made so that no one other than those that were with me from my universe could read them or write in them, it was done before they left traveling throughout reality into another mainline universe like this one here is, in case the others followed but as that became less of a problem inbreeding had taken its toll. There was less than a hundred or so of us left when or universe was sealed shut…shut for good, for the wellbeing of every other universe around ours, I was too late…. Again!" Harry explained but he looked away from them all when he explained about his universe, he felt like a failure especially on the week that was its fourth anniversary.
"Pup, that wasn't your fault, they should have given you more time, ten minutes and you would have rescued them all, it's them that gave up on you they knew you would need time but weren't prepared to give it to you they said one week to the second and you would have to return and all of them go back with you. You can't blame yourself for their lack of faith, ten minutes more and they would be safe here in this universe and able to close the breaches once they had all come through, they knew what your traveling was doing, yet let you, even knowing the risk they were taking with the barriers, at one point it seems as though they lost part their history or they would have known what they needed to repair them without sealing it shut from what the Master has said and yet they didn't even understand at first what it was doing until it was too late for that universe." Sirius supplied gently knowing how much it had hurt his pup not being able to rescue the others he was literally less than ten minutes to returning when he was locked out of his old universe.
"I could be the last Real Unspeakable from my universe left alive, they promised to only close the breaches and gate if nuclear war broke out, yet it hadn't happened up to me leaving. I knew I would be leaving but I thought I would have time to bring the others with me." Harry said very quietly. The Doctor was still reading his screwdriver with interest but was also listening to everyone.
"It wasn't your fault, not even SATURN's." The Doctor spoke looking sadly at Harry who was still looking at Sirius but turned to the Doctor when he spoke.
"There was no time gap. Sirius is right something must have happened while they were waiting for you to get back, SATURN always returned you to your own universe exactly twenty four hours or one day from when you left them, they would have waited that one day and when you didn't return one day and twelve hours later, they sealed the universe shut there was nothing you could have done once they closed it off to you. SATURN won't allow me into her programming to see just how old you actually are, when traveling through Time and Reality you wouldn't have actually aged just increased your length of life while traveling to and from them, but while on a planet you would age normally. If you had lost your history and were no longer able to look at Time you wouldn't have known what was happening. Once you can see Time like a Time Lord you would have noticed, it's that little human DNA from somewhere that is stopping your full potential to become a Magical Time Lord, but Harry even we can't hop universes safely neither can we travel reality anymore your ancestors stopped us all from doing it. I've visited a few others in my long life and those were normally an accident even the last one I visited and that one was only a parallel universe to this one, but that one ran ahead of ours and it was where completely different decisions were made. However, I know what damage it can do to those universes around our universe. If they hadn't closed their universe off, then all the others around yours would have suffered for it. It could have caused them to have universal incursions or even your own to have one and that would have slowly destroyed the universes that hit each other. I know it sounds harsh, but your people chose to save the last of their dying race, the purest of them all, a child not fully of their universe but one who would try to save them all even if he was only a tot himself…. From what I can get from SATURN it was a lot less than a week they gave you that they closed the gate and cracks from within your old universe. It really wasn't your fault as Sirius has said you gave it your all for tyring and that is what is important you worked as fast as you could to get them asylum if they had waited those extra ten minutes they would have been safe from what Sirius has explained to us." The Doctor told him gently letting it sink in before carrying on when he got a head nod off Harry.
"Even if you had been able to read Time you may have wanted to get out of that universe quickly or any of the other ones you visited, when I went to the last parallel universe I visited like the others few I have seen, my head wanted to crack open at the wrongness of it all and as half your DNA came from this universe, I would say you may have been as miserable as me in most other universes. Maybe not you though, as we could all cross reality at one point and not make any of us ill, but not us not any longer and a full half of your DNA is the Master's while the other is ninety nine percent original Magical Time Lord DNA it's more advanced in a way that I have never seen before but as I said it is the human DNA that is holding back you true potential we can remedy that though." The Doctor again explained this gently to Harry who despite everything was still sat in the Master's lap while the Master just hugged him never wanting to let Harry go.
"You also agree I should become a full Magical Time Lord then?" Harry asked a bit sharply suddenly feeling the arms around him constrict more, as though the Master was scared Harry was going to run.
"Please?" The Master asked. It was said so quietly that only the Doctor and Sirius heard it yet they both heard the pleading in that one word, it was something the Doctor thought he would never hear and be genuine off the Master. The Master again tightened his hold on Harry, but Harry was still looking at the Doctor.
"You said I would need to look into a schism, a free schism even." Harry spoke still looking at the Doctor then his voice rose he might be classed as a tot, but his anger was not and it was fully out for all to see.
"That was where the High Council of Time Lords and Ladies did something unimaginable to who is my own parent! and you want me to look so they have the chance to get their hands on my mind as well? If they tried to mess with my mind, I would end up blowing the planet up they are on they have no idea what they would be messing with! I would shatter the planet they were on looking through to that schism if they tried it with what is in my mind!" Harry started off angry and then determination entered his voice, there is no way he would allow the Time Lords to mess with his head. he had seen his dad's whole life including the council interference when he went to view the schism himself, what they had done was unimaginable.
"What?!" Demanded both Time Lords one looking murderous the other shocked beyond belief.
"Your precious High Council of Time Lords and Ladies caused the drums in the Masters head for the end of the Time War in your universe when he looked into the schism at his initiation. At least my people cared for the rest of their own universe as well as the others around them!" Harry's voice was scatting and his look one of fury when he looked at the Doctor.
"But that would mean they have been there since he was eight years old!" The Doctor whispered in utter shock and disbelief.
"They have! He could hold them off for a time, before they became too much and the drums took over, then occasionally they would quieten down and he would be rational! If you went out there and he showed you what he has done when the drums were quieter in his own mind, you would be shocked at his generosity and love, he never wanted to dominate! He never wanted to lose his mind to the drums! He wanted to be left to his experiments and to visit the worlds you both promised each other you would!" Harry explained defending the man in his arms who was one of his parents he had seen all of his life other than the Time War he knew him better now that he had touched his mind and had a psychic bond to him than anyone one else in the room even Sirius.
"But the High Council took that away from him…. I will not look into the schism unless I get the full story and know they can't touch my mind through one!" Harry exclaimed to the Doctor at the end.
"How? No one looked at the end of the war, no one could, it was too jumbled around, everyone had to stop looking because it was too overwhelming." The Doctor asked Harry.
"I don't know exactly, all I do know is that he was altered when he looked into the schism on your home planet as I said, it's connected to something external causing the drums!" Harry said to the Doctor. He gave him a second to process that and continued.
"From the memories, The head of the High Council took a White Point-Star Diamond and connected it to the Masters mind through the schism on your home planet when he looked into it at his initiation into the academy of Time Lords at the age of eight it was a simple yet strong message of four beats one after the other continuously on a loop constantly there in his mind overriding any other thoughts at times not caring they were condemning a boy of eight, to them he was an easy sacrifice, in this case the need of the many! From what I can see in the Masters head now which is totally clean and back to being rational and coherent. He has lived with them since he was eight!" Harry continued explained going louder and louder but he shouted about the Masters age at the end never moving his eyes boring into the Doctors own. The Doctor may be just be under the age of the Master through Time travel even though they were born the same year but Harry who was still only a tot had unnerved the Doctor and also shocked him to his very core, everything the Doctor thought he knew, looking back into those green emerald eyes that seemed to sparkle like no other colour could, the Doctor knew Harry spoke the truth not defending the Master totally but explaining just what he knew had happened to the Master and even though it was one of his parents his eyes showed just what he thought of what had been done to seriously wrong someone and then it hit him it was because he was a child at the time and he was worried now.
"What happened to you growing up Harry? Let us understand and explain it to us and on my TARDIS, I swear I will help both of you with whatever you want to do!" The Doctor asked and offered he needed to know, the Master did as well he couldn't see Harrys eyes, but they were tortured as well as angry, angry at something being done to another child one of Harrys parents no less. Harry turned and looked down staring at SATURN as though he was mentally communicating with her. Harry was and she was pushing him to talk to tell the truth so that everyone would understand and help. Harry looked up at Sirius almost begging him to talk then he didn't have to. Eventually Sirius nodded and Harry put his head back down, so he didn't have to see their faces or them see his, then Sirius talked for nearly two hours of what Harry had gone through until he himself had come through the vail. Both the Doctor and the Master were furious for this to happen to a tot it could do so much damage it could scar him for eternity what was done to him, no wonder he would protect people and love unconditionally no one had ever protected him, no one had ever cared enough for him and no one other than Sirius seemed to have ever loved Harry that he could remember. Harry had to cope on his own and now those precious to him would be protected with his all.
"Eventually the war heated up two years after I thought I had lost Sirius and the Headmaster of the school I had gone to had died while setting a mission for me to be able to win the war without giving me all the facts, I took care of the problems the war was causing by defeating him once and for all at the end of the two years just before I was mentally eighteen, the war had only finished a few hours earlier if that and I was denied helping raise my own godchild, I wasn't even allowed to see him his grandmother had custody of him and blamed me for his parents deaths as they had answered the call to help in the final battle to stop a mad man from taking over the world for his so called Pureblood supremacy even though he was only mixed blooded himself then my godsons grandmother took out a Magical restringing order against me stating I could have nothing to do with him I couldn't even be within fifty yards of him I had promised his father that I would bring up happy and loved and give him the life I should have had if anything happened to him and Teddys mother. I had, had enough of the Magical world, there were already rumours I was going to become the next Dark Lord now I had taken out the last one and proven I was the strongest Magical user in Great Britain. So I disappeared into the Ministry of Magic deep into the Real Unspeakables true place where we refined our skills and looked into building a proper full Magical Reality Traveling Time Ship. We got other normal witches and wizards to do what we wanted of them not exploiting them, paying them to help with our research just never telling them who was actually in charge, even we had a 'Management group' who was over all in charge of us all but usually we were all separated into different sections with a manger over us who was a member of that 'management group'. We had lost the knowledge of how to make true sentient space and Time ships and were trying to get it back but even in my time it was nowhere near, only SATURN remained of our true might, the original Magical Reality Traveling Time Ship the way she was built made it so she would take them wherever they wanted they just didn't know how she worked properly unfortunately that Ship wasn't immortal it died of old age I suppose you could call it. SATURN can only take me wherever I want to go not stopping in space a little like using a Vortex Manipulator, but she only insulates me I can take anyone into the past or the future of a planet I am on, but not through space. I can visit other civilisations SATURN has them all programmed into her for the universe she is in and she will translate the language so that I hear Unspeakable and they hear their own language and her sentience is enough for her to know where she is going, so I always materialise in a safe environment, but she will work forever as she doesn't have life in it as we all understand it." Harry explained but kept his head down through it all.
"Yes, well now I have your frequency the TARDIS will always be able to find you if you need help, you will find a new section it allows for you to send everything to me and for me to arrive to help you…. If you don't want to come with us." The Doctor explained going very quiet near the end. Everyone in the kitchen could see the two Time Lords wanted Harry to go with them.
"Hold on so you can ground him now if he misbehaves?" Sirius asked the Doctor. Sirius thought this was great Harry had never listened to him since he came to live with him always going on he was an adult. Harry's head re-shot up at that and he stared at the Doctor not at all happy if the answer was yes, he would blow up.
"No it's nothing like I have ever seen to be honest, he could dematerialise inside of my TARDIS and go where or whenever he wanted and she would just let him, he has the ability to travel in Time, space and throughout the whole of reality but he's not done the last since moving here if he is staying with us, the TARDIS would connect with SATURN and him then she would more than likely allow him to continue as he has in this universe if he's not done anything like the Master tried to do here, which I don't believe he has. So, all it will do is allow for him to get help if he needed it or for SATURN to get help if he was refusing or in serious trouble as long as it's in this universe, but to be honest with her he could just leave wherever he is even into another universe one crack over time will repair itself eventually." The Doctor explained to Sirius and Harry and everyone could see he was at war with himself but the Doctor was honest though telling the truth about SATURN, the Doctor wanted Harry to trust him, and he seemed to completely calm the Master down.
"As for looking into a schism the Time War is now Time locked. they know nothing about you, where you come from or anything, you have to understand Harry The Last Great Time War which is what it was called, wasn't fought only on this plane both sides wared in Time itself it was encompassing the universe, if it hadn't been stopped nothing would be left of this universe it was spiralling out of control and dragging innocent planets and people into its confrontations. Looking into the schism now would not affect you, they picked the Master not me or his son which means they only had knowledge of him definitely being alive at the end. A schism must be looked into both ways, but they would never look into this one they had no need, nor can they reach it now because you would be looking into it after they were sent into the Time lock, they couldn't do anything other than to those that looked into the schism on Gallifrey before the end of the Time War. You would be perfectly safe looking into one. However, we will need to find a crack in Time to burn out your human DNA all you would do is look at the crack while the Master and I monitored you then we would stay in the Time vortex until you got use to the viewing of Time and all the permutations that come with it, it could reduce you to looking younger than you are now. but we can travel around visiting places you find interesting until you feel like your old self and then come back here to see everyone you will miss. But Harry, looking and understanding Time is a big responsibility one you will carry throughout your long life, you will receive your twelve regenerations. It's a kind of Time Lord trick of cheating death we are granted with twelve regenerations thirteen lives to live. Only Jack may outlive us all for a linier timespan though I'm already on my second to last." The Doctor explained to Harry so he would know it was safe.
"And you promise not to treat me like a child if I do stay with you both?" Harry asked the Doctor but it was the Master who answered.
"We will treat you as a tot, child, because to us that is what you are, and you deserve the rest of your childhood to be one of fun, happiness and love, but we will not treat you as a baby. Once you become a full Magical Time Lord tot you will slightly regress in age and need to let your younger mind out more until you reach the two hundred year old mark. As the Doctor explained you will still be yourself it's just as a tot, Time will seem endless for you, until you mature into your abilities. But you wouldn't become a baby you would just regress slightly, also as I'm sure you have noticed you need to be able to act the age you actually look at times as well as being able to act your mental age. Once you are an adult you will always regenerate into an adult, if you change when at this age before you reach maturity, then you will be placed in a similar body just a different face you don't lose yourself, but every regeneration is different. You will understand completely when looking at the crack in Time and after looking into the Schism." The Master explained calm and collected just holding Harry.
"How much of a regression?" Harry asked quietly while he looked at the Master.
"Nothing to drastic you may end up looking like a ten year old instead of looking around nine and three quarters now or you could actually end up looking younger than you are now but once that is done you will age and grow like that until you are an adult and your mind is all together feeling like an adult. The way you were brought up." The Master explained then stopped for a minute and just held Harry to him gently squeezing him as though to ensure Harry was really there with him.
"You would have been malnourished and small for your size so it more than likely you will look younger and feel it at times, then once you are a Magical Time Lord adult you will remain one and can stop your aging. It more than likely you will be de-aged to correct all the damage done to you by those monsters. We just don't know until it happens, but we will both be there with you, you won't be alone never again, you are my son and I already love you for you…. Please do it." The Master explained but the last was a near whisper into Harry's ear only the Doctor picked it up as did Sirius through his heightened hearing due to padfoot and both of them heard the begging off the Master for Harry to agree, something which the Doctor thought he would never see the Master doing and it be genuine.
"Okay, we'll spend the rest of the night here, you two can share my room the others can take the spare bedrooms and get some sleep in them. Tomorrow I would like to see inside your TARDIS Doctor and see what you would offer if I went with you. If that can be agreed I will look into a crack in Time and the schism and travel with you if you will allow it, but if I do degage, we stay in space until I feel okay again. No danger, no trouble, just space and maybe Disney world I like it there." Harry answered quietly while looking at the Doctor, he knew it was him he had to convince not his…. Dad…. Harry could feel how much the Master wanted him to stay with them through the psychic bond the Master had initiated.
The Doctor smiled a true smile in what felt like ages nodding his head in total agreement.
"Then I have only two conditions, I would like for you to look through my head and let me do the same to you like the Master and I did then I would like to ask you a question in private please." Harry spoke deadly seriously even turning in the Masters lap, so he was full looking at the Doctor. The Doctor looked into Harrys eyes again and could see he would have to do it, but he had a few conditions of his own. So, holding his hand up he spoke.
"I will allow it but I will section off certain memories only the Time War or things related to it, no one should see that horror especially not someone as young as you it could do irreparable damage to your psyche and I must warn you I have seen some horrors in my time just as bad as some of the ones in the Time War and you will notice a change after the gap of the Time War…. I thought I was all that was left, I had saved the universe, but I lost everything important to me including my home and family…. I was bitter and angry Harry so angry and it took time, a lot of time to move on from that. Plus, you will learn things about me no other has, things that you must promise never to speak of thing that are very private to me!" The Doctor explained while still holding his hand up to stop Harry for interfering in his explanation, before dropping his hand.
"I didn't see what the Master did during the Time War, but if there are things you want to block off like the Time War or personal stuff you are older than me and should be able to do that, so I only see what you want but I really don't like being lied to!" Harry told the Doctor.
"Just the Time War Harry and anything to do with those I've run into since then. Also, a lot of stuff is private and personal to me but I'm letting you look at that as I said it is just the Time War and our opposition, if you are coming with us you need to know you can trust me." The Doctor explained to Harry.
At Harrys nod the Doctor initiated a psychic link with him like the Master had done all three were telepaths but these were memories, emotions and thoughts not just the last, the Doctor knew what Harry would find when he saw all his life from his young age how he was actually called Theta and how the Doctor loved Koschei as the Master was known when he was a tot which was both their real names which were sacred to them not the ones they had picked for themselves, Harry would see how much the Doctor still loved the Master and just wanted to save him from himself because of that love and the disappointment he felt as the Master did it over and over again. Then the Doctor entered Harry's mind and looked at his life including his thoughts, memories and emotions. Sirius had underestimated what Harry had been put through until he had come through the veil and it had only gotten worse until he moved to the Real Unspeakables, his homelife was awful, how did he cope with it all? He was starved, beaten on a near daily basis and made to do everything for them like a slave. Yet As they carried on swapping memories and thoughts he saw things that were strange, they neared the end of his memories, emotions and thoughts and the Doctor knew what Harry was going to ask afterwards in private which shocked him the more they shared memories, the Doctor agreed to it immediately, the Doctor was shocked because the Master had never hated him, he had loved him but the drums had stopped that love and now the Master was worried he would never get the Doctors trust back never mind his love all he now had left was Harry and he was scared of losing him. The Master had only known him for a short time, but he was the first to help him to save him and he couldn't lose that he loved Harry too much already and Harry loved him it was why he had stopped the drums. The Doctor did notice a massive change after defeating the thing of something with a name of 'flight of death', he didn't out run Harry though. He had been brutal at the siege of his school he used his full powers, and they were massive compared to what they knew Magical Time Lords normally had. Once all this was shared the Doctor turned the connection into a permanent one creating a psychic bond just like the Master had done with Harry, now they both knew the truth.
"We will mend our bridges I promise you Harry give it some time, but I promise we will get there we will become what you want if both of us want to go there okay." The Doctor told Harry out loud confusing everyone bar three there, Harry the Master and himself. Harry still connected to the Doctor felt the truth in his words and just nodded.
"So, you're going to go?" Sirius suddenly asked subdued.
"Yes and no, were going to go and I'm going to become my full potential I know I can travel in Time easily enough and to other planets but to actually see Time like my ancestors did it is something I have to do Sirius, but you're my godfather no matter what age I am so I will be returning here a lot with both the Master and the Doctor but they will also leave me here sometimes, so we can spend time together like we should have had from the day mum and James died and you can get in touch with me through SATURN, you already have the infinity program on your phone to sync up with me wherever and whenever I am, I'll still stay here I'll just be traveling more noticeably now." Harry explained gently to Sirius then Harry cringed he hadn't meant to let that last bit slip out.
"What do you mean more noticeable now? Today isn't the first day you travelled during your time with me you are always going off to that Disney world in the future!" Sirius exclaimed only to get a snort from both the Doctor and the Master, one because of his ability to attract trouble when he travelled and the other one because his son broke the rules Sirius had laid down, all the time.
"I…. Erm…. I might…. Might... Have been going to other places other than Disney world while you were in the hub, or asleep in bed and I wasn't tired so…. I sort of…. Just travelled around a bit…. I always came home before you would find out, I didn't want you worrying your job is stressful enough." Harry tried to explain and get the look off Sirius' face Sirius did not look happy at all.
"I've already told you I'm not a bloody kid just because I look like one and I need time to age into adulthood!" Harry snapped at Sirius when the look didn't shift.
"We are going to make you do a full de-brief on just where and when you have been and don't even think of telling me you can't remember you have eidetic memory Harry!" Sirius stated in a no-nonsense tone. Harry cringed again there was a lot that had been hidden from Sirius.
