"Christmas"
Regulus wrapped the present in red and gold paper, being careful to make it look perfect.
James wrapped the gift in light green giftwrap that had little cute snaks on it, trying, and failing, to make it look presentable.
Regulus wrapped the ribbon around James's gift; not even having to try to make it look beautiful.
James, not really knowing exactly how to make it look nice, tried his best to wrap the ribbon around Regulus's gift; which ended up looking messy, but it was from the heart.
Regulus showed up at their little meeting spot, exactly on time, not a minute early, not a minute late.
James showed up ten minutes early, because he was so excited to see Regulus and give him his gift.
"Hey, Reggie."
"Hi, Jamie."
"How's you're Christmas been?"
"It's four am, I haven't really experienced anything besides seeing you and waking up ungodly early."
James chuckles at that, and Regulus cracks a small smile.
"Happy Christmas, love," James says, smiling brightly, and gives a small kiss to Regulus, who happily returns it.
They both exchange their gifts to each other afterwards.
Regulus removed the ribbons and wrappings slowly and carefully, with much concentration, trying not to rip up the paper too much.
James happily ripped off all the paper and ribbon, not giving a shit like most people.
They both realized had the same thing wrapped.
James waited for Regulus to unwrap the box first before saying,
"Together?"
Regulus nodded, and on the count of three they opened their ring boxes.

They both gladly said yes; neither having a doubt in their mind about that answer.
