Chapter 4
I would suggest going back and rereading last chapter cause I did just cut out something but if your lazy like me and choose not to do that basically I erased Fred from the chapter cause I realized he'd be dead by then.

"Ok is it just me or did she like jump away from you?" Andromeda says once they're out of sight. "And is it just me or did she like flinch at Bella's laugh?" Barty adds and for once I feel like I missed something. "She didn't flinch at Bella's laugh." At least I don't think she did.
"Well not necessarily flinch, but she stiffened." Andromeda added coming around the couch to sit on one of the arm rests. "And her eye twitched at Dolohov's name." I see Draco recoil. "What?" I ask him as he too was affected by the name. "Look don't think much into it Dolohov wasn't exactly a great person to remember." He shudders. "and as for you two," he takes a long breath.
"let's just say that granger didn't jhave the best relationship with the blacks and Malfoy's...."

"Lay him down on the bed, please?" She says walking into the dorm ahead of us. The room is a single with a bed slightly bigger then the ones you would find in the communal dorms. He set him down on the bed and the girl helps move him into a comfortable position. "How does that feel?" She asks adjusting the pillows. "Like your my saving grace." He flashes her a cheesy smile. She snorts. "Well it wasn't gonna be Parkinson."
The dynamic between the two is amusing, but also a bit confusing. It's not unheard of for a Slytherin and a gryffindor to be friends but it's very rare and they don't even seem to be friends, more like friendly. I find myself once again watching the girl trying to understand her. "You just came from a war right?" I ask and her eyes snap towards mine holding a bit of surprise. "Oh, urhm yes, yes I did."
"Then shouldn't you be the one getting healed?" Lucius says adding onto my train of thought. She once again snorts. "I should be but Dumbledore decided the mediwitch had just 'had too much stress for tonight' and told me to care for all the wounded and that I was to take care of the infirmary tonight." She says it bitterly and I can't help but agree.
The girl just came from a war, and from the way she almost collapsed downstairs, she is clearly both wounded and probably malnourished. I take a moment to study her as she tends to Nott.
I now see that is a bit too skinny then she should be, pale and not in a good way, dark circles under her eyes indicating she hasn't slept much, she's covered in various scratches and bruises, her clothes are worn and ripped in many places, with blood in many spots. Another detail I notice is a wrapping on her forearm that seems drenched in blood.
I exchanged a look with Lucius and see that he too seems to be thinking the same as I. How could Dumbledore make her work like this? If it had been a Slytherin I would have just thought he was trying to kill them but a gryffindor? Who are you little Lion? And what have you done to loose favor?
"You ready Nott?" She asks having forgotten the conversation and returned to her patient-that-shouldn't-be-her-patient. "Ready as I'll ever be." He says his eyes staring up at the ceiling his face showing clear discomfort. "Alright I'm going to petrify you then give you the skelligrow their shouldn't be any problems once you wake up but I'll leave you with a pain relief and blood replenishing potion alright?" He nods. "Alright, close your eyes." She says this time very softly.
He does as he's told and I notice now that he's gripping her hand with a death grip, to her credit she doesn't even wince. "Petrifias Totalis" she mutters, briefly closing her eyes. He completely relaxes going limp on the bed. "Could one of you hold his mouth open?" She asks quietly. Before Lucius could respond I step forward and kneel on the other side of the bed using my hand to hold his jaw so that his mouth remains open.
She gets a potion vile that I assume is the skelligrow, and pops the lid before slowly tilting the contents down Nott Jr.'s throat. I let go of the boys jaw and she immediately stands. She moves to the foot of his bed and rolls up the leg of his pants to see a wound bad enough it makes even me wince. The girl however doesn't even blink, just pulls out her wand and starts non-verbally healing it.
Lucius and I both watch the girl carefully. Wandless and nonverbal magic, for anyone else would be immensely difficult and cause quite the strain but the only thing that seems to be amiss is the fact that she sways on her feet but even that I think has more to do with her physical health then the magic she's performing. She finishes healing his leg and spins to meet each of our gazes.
"I think it's about time I see Zabini, don't you?"
Hermione
They lead me to the room Blaise is staying in and leave going to join the others downstairs. I raise my hand to knock on the door but just as my fist is about to meet the wood of the door it swings open making me jump. "Oh sorry didn't mean to startle you love." A dark haired boy says with a smile, the boy at his shoulder shared quite the resemblance and so did his smile when he mirrored his brother flashing it.
The two boys were the epitome of tall dark and handsome. "Rabastrian and Rodolphus Lestrange, how can we be of service?" Ah, the Lestrange Brothers. "Is Blaise in?" I ask nodding towards the room behind them. "Ah yes, of course—" he looks behind him, yelling over his shoulder.
"Zabini you have a visitor!" Before turning back to me. "As much as I would love to stay and find out more about the lovely lady at our door we must be going our friends are waiting for us in the common room." He says giving a little bow and then walk away with his brother trailing behind him. Well, that was something.
I step towards the door that they'd left open, clutch my bag and peeking in. I see Zabini sitting up on the bed one hand holding up a book the other in a makeshift sling most likely made of an old shirt. I knock on the door and his eyes snap towards me and he does a double take. "Granger?" He asks confused and I nod in greeting. "Zabini."
I start to make my way towards the bed he's sitting on, which is one of three and the closest to the left. "Uhm....no offense, but what are you doing here?" He asks having put down the book and now uses his un injured arm to rub the back of his neck. "I'm your visitor, didn't you hear?" I ask recalling Rabastians words. He laughs. "Well yes, but I just figured it was Draco or Theo come to bother me." Draco.
I clear my throat and the thought with it. "Yes, we'll, I'm just here to tend to your arm but I'm sure once Theo wakes up he'll be happy to annoy you into next year." I said with a smile because I could truly see that happening in the near future. "Wake up?" He questions.
"I put him under a paralyzation charm to heal his ribs but he should be ok by mornings." I say kneeling on the floor and opening my bag to find the supplies to heal his arm. "I wasn't aware you'd become Slytherins official healer, granger." He laughs but I don't look up from the bag. "Well, someone had to do it and the others were all too stubborn or prejudice."
He goes silent for a moment but I don't take mind as I continue my search through my thoroughly extended bag. "Aha!" I exclaimed finally snagged the bottle I'd been looking for. I stood from my knees, and though I did get quite light headed managed to stay in my feet this time. "You alright there, Granger?" Blaise asked must having caught something on my face. "Of course, now let me see your arm."
He scoots forward so he's sitting with his legs hanging of the left side of the bed and I put one of my own legs on the bed so I can reach him better. I start to unwrap his arm from the makeshift sling and chuckle. "This is giving me a flashback of when Dra—Malfoy got hit by buckbeak." He narrows his eyes like he's going to say something about my slip up then thinks better of it and smiles. "I won't milk it as much."
I laugh. "Id hope not." Finally unwrapped the last of the sling I see that my assumption was right in that it really it someone's white cotton tee shirt. He hisses as the air cold air comes in contact with the large wound that is definitely worse then Dracos was. "Recon you know what month it is?" He asks through gritted teeth. "September 5th—this should make it feel better." I rub the gel like substance from my bag along the wound.
He heaves a sigh of relief as it must have taken affect. "The school years just started then?" I nod as I try to get the gel in his skin before I heal it. "Alright now I'm going to close the wound it might tingle a bit but should be painless alright?" He nods shutting his eyes tightly as I get out my wand.
Putting the wand right above the wound I cast the wand movement and it starts to heal, the skin fusing back together. I don't bother saying the words aloud, as I'd mastered nonverbal magic a long time ago. The wound shuts completely and I pat Blaise on the leg. "All done." He opens his eyes twisting his arm around to inspect it and he smiles. "Wow granger, you're a real blood life saver—"
I don't hear the rest of his words as my vision starts to swim and his voice gets muffled.
And everything goes black.
