PATIENCE
You gasp at the sudden brushing of Remus' hand against yours. It's not that you didn't like him touching you, everything was just so new and it made you hypersensitive.
"Sorry Rem..." you utter, avoiding his eyes. It was embarrassing how inexperienced you were when it came to love; you didn't want to face him. Remus found you adorable though. Your timid demeanour only urged him to treat you more preciously.
However, the brunette has never had to show such self restraint before. Your adorable skittishness in response to his modest advances urged him to approach with caution but also made him want to push for those reactions more. He wants to see you flustered just for him ⏤all for him.
"Don't be..." Remus sighs and laughs at his own lack of self control, "I guess I'm getting greedy..."
Frowning up at him, you shake your head in protest, "that's not true, Remus," as you stare into his eyes, he can see your eagerness to persuade him and his lips were quickly tugging up into a smile, "you're the least greedy person I know..."
Not when it comes to you... he thinks to himself but...if you believe me to be than I shall ⏤he'll be anything and everything you want him to be.
"Thank you, dove," he takes a strand of your hair and raises it to his lips. You're still too jumpy for him to be able to kiss your skin. By the sound of your silent gasp at his action, Remus knows he's right, "I'll be patient for you, just for you,"
