“Bloody hell. Yea, okay, no thats not how were going to do that.” A tired Lily announced to Evan and Barty.
Lily had followed them to their flat just a few blocks away from The Leaky Cauldron and they were trying to formulate a plan.
“Aw, c’mon Lily, it would be fun to engorgio Lucius’ stupid albino peacocks and ride them away!” Barty answered, excited.
Lily scoffed and shook her head, “ah, no.”
Barty glared at her and sat back in his seat.
Their flat was rather dirty, there were buckets full of water from leaks everywhere and clothes hanging from everywhere. There were dirty dishes with mold piling in the silver sink, and the green walls looked more moldy than dark.
“No, Barty. Lilys right even though that would be wicked fun, it would draw to much attention.”
Lily nodded her head and gave Barty a pointed look, the I-told-you-so look. Barty rolled his eyes and glared at Lily.
“Okay. So. When are we planning on doing this?” Barty asked, still annoyed with Lily. He really had always wanted to put the charm on the peacocks, to ride then because he always had such a fascination with them.
“Tommorow night.” Lily declared, staring right into Evans eyes. He widened them, but nodded his head. He wanted to get his best friend out probably more the Lily did. The three always stuck together, and without Regulus, or if Regulus died, it would feel as if a part of him was always missing.
“Tommorw night then,” Evan agreed, looking at Barty, who had downed his cup of firewhiskey and stood up, walking over to a shelf full of records.
“I think we should get pissed!” Barty laughed, picking up a case and setting it on the turn table, War Pigs by Black Sabbath echoing through the walls.
Lily rolled her eyes, of course these two would listen to Black Sabbath over Bowie. But Lily really did want to get so pissed she would forget everything that happend to her in the last few months.
“Fuck yes!” Lily yelled, followed by Bartys cheering and Evan laughing.
“I think we should invite a few other people.” Evan called, pouring drinks for the three
“Like who?” Lily asked, all of her friends were either dead, gone, or definitely would not come to this party.
“Hmmm, we could invite Pandora and her fiancee, we could invite Dorcas, we could invite…” and the list went on and on as Evan wrote to all these people, having his elf deliver them.
“Bloody hell, lets get this party started!” Lily cheered, alread caught up with Barty on alcohol.
A few minutes later, there were knocks on the door and a beautiful pale blonde woman and man walked in the door, “hello, Pandora!” Lily called, taking another shot, laughing at the weird necklace her fiancee was wearing. “Hey, Lily.” Pandora answered, walking over to hug Barty and Evan. After Pandora got herself and her man a drink, there was another knock and Dorcas Meadows slipped in, her braided hair long pulled back, clearly not wanting to be there but arriving anyways, “I couldnt miss this party, Merlin knows when we would all be toegther again.”
Barty and Lily had started a shot game, where every time Xpendhsjjs mentioned something called a crumpled horn snorshnack, whatever the hell that was, they drank. This left them very pissed.
“Oi! Everybody!” Barty yelled, standing on top of a table, bottle in hand and clearly pissed out of his mind, “why dont we play a game?!”
This suggestion was followed by cheers, and a few claps.
“What game?” Dorcas called back, smiling, but very pissed.
“Spin the bottle?” Evan suggested with a smirk, which was shot down by Dorcas.
“Never have I ever?” Lily suggested quietly, to which everyone agreed.
The group sat in a circle, shot glasses and alcohol in the middle. Pandora and Xs fingers entwined, and Barty started,
“Never have I ever tried to kill someone!” He laughed, and took a shot, Evan laughed and took a shot next to him. Pandora looked at her hands and took a shot, which caused her fiancee to look at her questionably. Dorcas shrugged her shoulders and downed her shot,
“Barty, you asked the question your not supposed to take a shot!” Lily retorted, laughing
“My bad,” He answered back, taking another shot
“okay, okay my turn to ask a question” Pandora exclaimed, putting her hand to her chin, “never have I ever done the deed with someone not from my house WHILE in Hogwarts.” She folded her arms and looked at the circle.
Dorcas laughed and took a shot, she was the only one.
“Who was is!?” Evan asked, intrigued.
“None of your business.” Dorcas answered, crossing her arms
Lily knew who it was though. It was Marlene. She would come into the dormitory almost every night smiling and talking about her night with Dorcas. Nobody else knew other then Lily, Mary, and Remus.
The game went on for a while, Barty took the most shots and it eventually turned into a game of trying to see what Barty has done. Turns out, quite a bit.
Lily woke up a few hours later to find everyone passed out, X went home, leaving Pandora alone after finding out she was bisexual and had been with Mary third year. Lily sighed and sat up, her head pounding wishing she was with her friends, not these strangers who half of them bullied her at school. Lily pulled her hair up and walked to the kitchen to find something to eat. Which was empty.
“Bloody hell.” Lily whispered to herself
“Whats the matter?” Pandora asked softly, making Lily jump
“Merlin, Pandora you walk so quiet!”
Pandora smiled and opend a cupboard next to the stove, which was filled with crackers and booze.
“Bloody hell, how did you find that?”
Pandora smiled, “Im the one who stocks it. Whenever im here and need food I can come to this cupboard, because Barty and Evan, bless them, are not the brightest.”
Lily laughed as she took out a box of something crunchy and ate it.
“Mm you have a very good taste in hangover food. I would make the potion for it but Im assuming they dont have any ingredients.”
Pandora shook her head and smiled, “nope.”
Lily finished the box as Dorcas walked in, rubbing her eyes and groaning, “Panda, dont ever let me drink like that again.”
Pandora laughed and handed her a box of the crunchy food, which Dorcas took gratefuly.
Lily watched as everyone else entered the kitchen, taking food from Pandora and sitting down. Lily missed her group, her Moony, Padfoot and Prongs. She even missed how her Wormy was. Before everything. Now she just wanted to kill him. To do that she needs to stick with these people. These people who were actually really kind and fun.
“Okay, I better get going. X will probably be waiting for me.” Pandora waved goodbye to everyone and walked out the door, leaving everyone sitting in silence.
“I need to go too.” Dorcas annouced, grabbing her cloak and leaving, box of crackers in hand waving goodbye.
It was just Lily, Barty and Evan left, and Barty was asleep.
“Tonight the night.” Lily whispered to Evan.
“Tonights the night.” He whispered back, stacking crackers on Bartys head.
