Harry and Tom had been married for over three years Harry had believed that Tom had given up on the prophecy that he also believed that it would never come true.
Harry didn’t notice it but as time went by tom kept on getting more and more paranoid about Harry trying to kill him it all came to ahead May 2nd, 2001 on their four year anniversary.
Harry had planned the night out they’d have dinner at the manor eating food he prepared and afterwards they’d cuddle and maybe have sex.
Once Tom got home things were going just as planned they ate the dinner Harry prepared and they were cuddling.
“I Love you Tom,” Harry admitted kissing his husband’s lips.
“I Love you too Harry,” Tom said pulling the smaller man closer.
They stayed like that for awhile just basking in each other’s presence Tom suddenly flipped over so he was straddling Harry’s waist.
“T-Tom?” Harry questioned usually Tom start to initiate sex by groping and kissing this wasn’t normal.
“I’m Sorry Harry. I Love you.” He whispered reaching for his pocket and pulling out an ornate looking blade.
“Tom Tom! W-why do you have a k-knife?!” Harry was starting to panic he didn’t like this at all.
“Goodbye Harry.” Tom solemnly said kissing Harry gently before plunging the knife into his heart.
“Tom why?” Harry questioned tears streaming from his eyes.
“I cant have you turn your back on me.” Tom admitted holding Harry close until his bright green doe eyes became dull.
Harry had a memorial in godricks Hallow next to his parents graves but he was buried in their garden his favorite place he held a ceremony at godricks hallow but not the one in their garden that one was his and only his.
His head stone read as follows:
Here Lies Harry James Potter-Riddle
Loving Husband and Devoted friend.
July 31, 1980 - May 2, 2001
It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone. Part of me went with you, wherever you may roam.
As Tom stood there staring at the primrose plants swaying in the gentle breeze he only had one thought going through his mind.
Think I'll miss you forever Like the stars miss the sun in the morning sky
