Note
Just gonna clarify some things:The characters are like Demi humans.Jinx is a fox.Vi is a wolf.Lux is a golden retriever.Caitlyn is a maned wolf.Ezreal is a fox and raccoon hybrid.I don’t know shit about LOL guys, I just discovered this ship after the series and liked it. Not really trying to stay close to canon personalities or anything, that’s too hard for me. I’m just having fun and finally getting this idea out of my system. Also, English isn’t my first language so apologies in advance for any posible mistakes. Actually no, no apologies, if you see a mistake then no you didn’t.

She was late.

Too late for her liking. She had a thing for always being punctual, you know, having a perfect assistance. Well, being late wouldn’t help her at all. Although she did realize some time ago she’d started to care less and less about her record, she could be late and still pass all her courses, so being completely on time wasn’t really going to make a difference.

But today?

Today she had to be early, she had a presentation, and a very important one actually, one that would cost her grade.

She hated projects like those. You work your ass all semester only to have one specific assignment decide your whole grade. Kinda unfair for those who actually work for their points in class, like her.

She had been doing great, with nothing to worry about. Yet here she was now, running like crazy in hopes that she could catch the bus in time.

All because her tired mind forgot to place her alarm the night before.

Waking up to a clock telling you you’re half an hour behind makes miracles getting you out of bed, she was up and running as soon as she laid eyes on those digital numbers. Showering, brushing and getting dressed in record time.

Now, if only she can catch…

—The bus! -

She saw it as she turned a corner, watching the vehicle as it gave a turn and disappeared behind a few houses.

Right we’re the bus stop would be.

Ah, if only she were a cheetah, a jaguar or a leopard, really, any of them. Any other type of hybrid that could run faster than a golden retriever.

She tried picking up her pase, her golden tail flowing in the wind behind her, blue eyes focused solely on where her target was supposed to be, not bothering to watch her surroundings.

So focused that she failed to notice the person running on her direction once she turned another corner of the street.

They both collided, her belongings flying as she hit the hard ground along with an extra weight on her.

—Fuck! -

She opened her eyes to see the person responsible for her current position on the ground and was met with a pair of red violet eyes.

“Strange”.

—Dammit, watch where you’re going, blondie -

She couldn’t help but get angry at the claim.

—Excuse me? - she quickly pushed the blue haired hybrid off of her - What’s that supposed to mean? You’re the one who just crashed onto me! -

The girl only growled in response.

—I don’t have time for this - she muttered, being quick to pick up only her phone along with her backpack, leaving the blonde alone on the ground.

Of course, getting knocked on the ground by a total stranger and having her belongings fly everywhere was just what she needed today. Said stranger didn’t bother helping her before ditching her and so, she watched her leave with a frown, her eyes recognizing the tail of a fox.

A fox. Of course it was a fox.

Rolling her eyes, she started to pick everything up until a very well known sound reached her ears.

The bus horn.

Her blue eyes looked up in horror as the bus started moving, gaining speed in no time and leaving her behind.

Well shit…

What the hell was she supposed to do now? Her brother was already out of the house by the time she woke up (bitch didn’t have the decency to wake her up) so he couldn’t give her a lift, and she still hasn’t been able to get her drivers license yet (again, that bitch).

With a long sigh she continued to pick up her belongings one by one, moving as slow as she could, trying to control the growing, boiling anger in her veins.

She was the first one on the list for that project. It was essential for her to be on time, yet now she was about to fail a class because of a last minute project her dying teacher assigned.

—Dammit! -

She kicked a nearby sign, hurting her own foot in the process. Even if she walked all the way, by the time she’d arrive the class would already be over.

She wanted to scream.

She wanted to cry.

She wanted to punch a certain blue fox.

And she also wanted to hug someone.

Dam her omega nature for making her so… so… however the hell she was feeling right now, it was complicated.

—So this is how it will be, huh? -

Luxanna Crownguard, forced to take summer classes because of one failed project.

All of it because she slept in.

Because she was stupid enough to forget setting an alarm.

The sound of an arriving motorcycle invaded her ears, yet she didn’t really pay it any attention. She wasn’t interested in anything around her at the moment.

She was too busy drowning in her own sorrow.

—Yo -

That is.

—Blondie -

Until that annoying voice appeared once again.

The omega looked up to see the same blue fox that had just crashed into her a few minutes ago, only this time the hybrid was on a black motorcycle, covered in all sorts of graffiti, holding what she assumed was her safety helmet.

—Say. You’re that new girl everyone talked about last year, right? -

The fact that this girl was just back and talking to her like nothing ever happened was enough to fuel her anger.

Like, seriously. No Apology? Not even a stupidly simple sorry?

Well, she should’ve guess it, considering the first to words to come out of her mouth were profanity.

—High class transfer princess, right? -

“Oh, I’m going to strangle her”.

—You even listening to me blo… -

—My name is Luxanna, not “blondie” - she responded, her anger an annoyance as clear as the skyes above.

Thought her stern look didn’t seem to affect the fox at all, in fact, her smile grew even wider.

—Sure thing princess -

“She’s doing it on purpose”.

—Anyways, couldn’t help but notice the bus just left your ass… -

—Because of you! - Lux interrupted.

—… Noticed your ass was late and the bus left it - the girl corrected (not really) herself - So I thought, since we’re going to the same place, why not give you a ride? -

Wait, so she was also a student?

And also, no?

Student or not, there was no way in hell that she would just go on and hop on a motorcycle with someone she just met.

—I’m good, thanks  -

—Really? Cuz just now it seemed like ya were about to commit a homocide or something - the fox scratched one of her ears - Got something important and ya can’t be late or what? Cause I’ve never seen someone so upset over not going to school -

Lux didn’t answer, she crossed her arms and looked away.

—Ohhh you do, don’t cha? Little miss perfect is about to break that perfect record today, huh? Bout to fail something for the first time in her life -

She was really starting to hate that ever growing smirk on the girls face.

—Gonna get a 99% instead of a 100%? -

And that annoying raspy voice.

—Oh! What would the people say! -

Ok so, hypothetically speaking. If she were to murder someone, could she make it look like it was self defense?

—A failure! A charlatan before us! -

“Oh officers! She just came to me on a motorcycle and tried robing me. I tried resisting and she started to become more aggressive, things escalated and the next thing I know I-“

—The family may even have to disinherit you -

It could work, not mention the girl being a fox helps to sell the story.

No, wait!

“Lux you racist, homocidal thinking idiot, stop that! She’s trying to amend for making you lose the bus”

The girl was annoying as hell, yes, but the Crownguard could see the fox was actually trying to make it up to her, in her own way that is. There wouldn’t be a spoken apology, that’s for sure. The hybrid in front of her was an alpha, and a very proud one she could guess, so an apology was off the charts.

But they say actions speak louder than words and she guessed that’s what this alpha was going with.

—I said I’m good -

Still, she was not going anywhere on that thing.

—Alright. Think fast! -

The fox threw the helmet towards her, the retriever caught it and gave it a few weird looks, it was also covered in paint. Lux looked at the blue haired girl in front of her once again.

—Yea, no, not happening -

—Are you kidding me? -

—I don’t even know you! -

—And I don’t know you either, we’re both at risk here. Also tick-tack blondie, we are loosing time here. You coming or not? -

—I said…! -

She couldn’t be doing this. This was not her. No. Luxanna Crownguard could not be getting on a stranger’s motorcycle just so she could be on time for her presentation.

It took a bit of bickering back and forth with the omega, but in the end, the alpha managed to convince her. She helped her put on the helmet and hop on the back of the motorcycle.

—Hold on tight. If that project of yours is as important as you say, then I’m gonna be breaking a new record -

Oh, Garen would kill her if he ever found out. That is, if she didn’t die today.

—Oh God, help me -

—Relax, it’ll be fun! -

And it was, in fact, not fun.

She was pretty sure a couple of traffic laws, if not all, were broken on their way to school, not to mention the speed limit wasn’t something her driver seemed to care about.

They had just stopped in front of the school gates when the bell rang.

—Here we are, princess, right on time! -

And alive, thank God.

Just for that, she deserved an A+ on her presentation.

And speaking of it, she needed to calm down because, her heart?

—Hope you don’t gotta talk that much on your thing. I could feel your heart on my back the whole time. Heh. Strong heart beat -

Yea, her heart wanted to break out of her chest throughout the whole ride. The adrenaline of submitting your homework a minute before the due date was nothing compared to what she just experienced.

—Anyways. Wanna get off or? -

Oh, right.

She let go of the waist she had been holding onto for dear life and hopped off.

—My helmet? -

She returned it and tried fixing her hair as much as she could, she needed to be presentable at the very least.

—You look good blondie, don’t have to worry -

Before she could reply, the fox took off, leaving her in front of the gates. There wasn’t much time for her to waste so she decided she’d believe those words and headed straight to her class.

—Holy shit, you look like you just went through a hurricane -

So she lied.

—Zip it Ezreal, I don’t wanna hear it. Not today -

—Woah, ok. It was just a joke, you look… ok -

“Ok”. Well, this day couldn’t get any worst.

—So, did you get the teacher’s email? -

Or could it?

—What? -

She took her phone out, quickly unlocking it and when she opened her email she saw it.

No more than a minute ago, her teacher had sent a message to class saying he would be at least 25 minutes late because of some personal matters.

“Oh that son of a bi…”

—If I’d known he’d be half an hour late I would’ve taken my time getting here - her friend commented -Or even sleep a bit more. What about you? -

“If I’d known I wouldn’t have taken a ride with a maniac”.

“Who are you kidding, you’d still be late if not”.

—Oh well, I guess the old man finally might be dying or something. Who knows -

The alpha looked at his classmate with a playful smile, trying to cheer her up, even if Lux looked seconds away from ripping someone’s head off.

—Text me if he arrives - the omega got up from her seat and took her backpack -I need to use the bathroom -

—Sure thing -

The water hitting her face was cold, yet not enough to cool down her anger.

She stared at herself in the mirror, hands grabbing the sides of the sink so hard her knuckles lost all color. She looked down, blue eyes now focused on the running water.

—So you can be late and have nothing happen to you. But if any of us don’t arrive in time, we lose our spot and our points for the dam punctuality! - she started passing around the bathroom while talking to herself -You can threaten us with our grades but you can do whatever comes out of your ass! -

Some may find her reasons for being angry a bit stupid.

—You unprofessional, unethical, old man! Why don’t you just retire already! -

But she’d say her reasons were quite valid.

—Ugh! You don’t know the shit I just went through this morning, just for your ass to be late to its own class! -

Yea, she had all the right to get angry.

—I didn’t even get any breakfast this morning and I forgot my dam jacket, and that classroom is always freezing! -

A notification from her phone caught her attention so she unlocked it to see what it was about. It was a message from Ezreal.

“Looks like presentations are canceled for today”.

Along with his text was a screenshot of another email, this one saying the teacher wouldn’t be able to make it, and that all activities would be postponed for tomorrow.

She silently placed the phone back in her pocket and took a full breath of air.

—THAT MOTHER FUCKER! I’m so gonna murder him! I’ll… -

—Woa, so the princes does curse, huh? -

She immediately stoped her ranting, her eyes now looking for the owner of that voice. Turning around she finally saw the fox leaning on the wall, arms crossed and eyes looking intently at her.

—Oh, don’t let me stop you - the girl said -Please continue -

What followed after was complete silence, aside from the water still running on the sink. The sound seemed to annoy the alpha, seen as she walked over and finally turned off the water tap.

—So… - the fox seemed to ponder her next words for a moment -You ok there blondie? -

—Luxanna - she corrected immediately - And no, I’m not ok. Ok? I am angry, I am frustrated, tired, cold and hungry! -

She hated how a school project was able to get her all worked up like this. She still had a long way to go before she stopped taking these kind of things so serious. This was not university, this was not college, it was only school. She wasn’t supposed to stress herself so much over school work or stupid teachers. It was not worth it, and even less, healthy.

—I… I take it your presentation didn’t go well? - the alpha guessed.

—No! - Lux replied -I didn’t even get the chance to present because that… that… asshole didn’t even come to school! -

—Oh… Well what a dick -

—I know! -

Her breathing was starting to get out of control and the alpha before her seemed to noticed.

—Hey now, I know it’s frustrating but you might wanna calm down -

—I don’t need to calm down I need…! - what exactly did she needed? -I… I need to go home, I wanna go home! It’s only morning but I’m running on four hours of sleep. Four! And everything has been so shity since I woke up! -

Breathing started to become more difficult with every breath she gave and her view was starting to get blurry.

Was she about to cry?

Over this?

No.

No, it wasn’t just the current situation at hand, this had to do with everything that got piled up on these last weeks. Final projects, assignments, final exams. She hadn’t been getting enough sleep in the past days either and it was finally catching up on her. Making her low on temper, more aggressive, and having every little inconvenience make her easily frustrated.

It would also explain why, even now, she was being hostile to the alpha, and realizing it only made things worse. Now she felt guilty for treating her like that, just after she offered her a ride, made sure she was safe by handing over her only helmet and now coming to check up on her.

“Congrats you jerk. She probably won’t speak to you again after this”.

—Holy shit, are you…? -

Ah, and she was crying now.

How embarrassing.

Her emotions were a mess.

Ok what the actual fuck was she supposed to do on a situation like this?

The omega was crying right in front of her and she had no idea if it was her fault or not.

“What the fuck did you do now?”

“But I didn’t do shit!”

Was it something she said? But she only asked how things went.

Was it because she told her to calm down? Her father always told her not to tell an omega to calm down, like, never. So, could it be that?

—Are you… alright? -

—No… -

“You imbecile, of course she’s not alright, she’s crying! Are you stupid!?”

“I don’t know what the hell I’m supposed to be doing, ok? I’m not good at comforting!”

“Just say something nice!”

“Like what!?”

“I don’t know, just do it!”.

—Uhh, you know you… Well, I think maybe… Well this isn’t… -

“Holy shit this is hard!”

She had to do something fast, the situation was starting to become a bit frustrating for her and she didn’t even know why. She’s seen people cry before, more times than she can count, yet seeing this girl crying in front of her just felt wrong. The fox couldn’t shake the feeling away and it was becoming a bother. The only thing on her mind was to get the omega to calm down and maybe then that weird feeling in her chest would go away.

Also, if someone were to walk in on them now it would be quite hard for her to explain. She was an alpha, alone in the bathroom with a crying omega. What other message could that send? Not to mention her reputation, along with the fact that she was a fox, made it easier for her to be dragged into the principals office, again.

And she could not afford to get dragged in there one more time.

“All the odds are against you, so you better get her to calm down”.

—Did I… say something wrong? - she tried once again.

The blonde only looked at her for a split second before shaking her head.

“Ok that means no so we’re good there”.

Alright, she wasn’t the reason for the girl’s tears so that was good. Now she needs to focus on what could be the actual reason and what can she do to make it stop.

“Didn’t she say earlier that she was cold and… hungry?”

Oh, that was right, the retriever did mention at the beginning that she was feeling cold and was also hungry, along with being angry and tired. Well, the alpha couldn’t help with the anger nor the exhaustion but she could try to help with the girl’s coldness.

—Hey uh, here. You can have this - the alpha took her own hoodie off and gently put it on the omega, startling her for a moment -I’m not really cold so, you can give it to me later, I don’t mind -

Lux stayed still, watching as her counterpart adjusted the black hoodie on her, fixing the hood and gently moving some strands of blond hair off of her face.

More on the unconscious side, the fox also started to wipe her tears away.

—I’ve heard you are quite the sunshine, so seeing you cry makes it look like I’ve been lied to. And I don’t like people lying to me - her thumb made quick work wiping the tears from the girls cheeks -I know things can get a bit frustrating from time to time, just don’t let it get to ya that bad -

They stayed still for a moment, the fox’s hands now caressing the retriever’s cheeks, feeling the soft delicate skin, and her eyes admiring her every feature, from her golden hair, down to her blue teary ayes and finally her lips.

The alpha noticed something.

The girl was…

“Pretty”.

It was evident now that she was able to get a good look. Ezreal wasn’t lying.

Upon realizing that she was staring, the alpha quickly retrieved her hands while taking a few steps back.

—And I uh… uhm… It’s not much but you can have this too - scratching the back of her neck she reached for her backpack and took out a sealed paper bag -I never eat them. Still, Vi insists on making two and giving me one every day but I always forget about it and it goes to waste. It’s better if you have it -

She watched intently as Lux took the bag and opened it to see what was inside, noticing how the girl stayed still for a moment and how tears started to fall, yet again, from her eyes.

Wait.

Tears!?

—Ah shit -

“YOU MADE IT WORST. HOW DID YOU JUST MADE IT WORST?”

“I WAS JUST TRYING TO HELP!”

“OF COURSE A STUPID SANDWICH WONT MAKE HER HAPPY. OH MY GOD I SHOULD JUST GO AND KILL MY-“

A sudden hug interrupted her inner thoughts and newly plans of unaliving herself.

“Oh”.

A hug.

That was something good, right?

—Thank you - the girl said in a whisper as she tightened her grip on the fox’s back -I’m sorry for acting like a jerk to you. I hope you can forgive me. I promise I’m nothing like this -

The alpha was still paralyzed by the sudden touch. Not many people tend to get close to her, and even less dared to touch her. Even with her friends, she’d act aggressively at the smallest contact. She was not a hugger either, the only ones worthy enough of her hugs were her sisters Vi and Isha, and maybe her friend Ekko.

But blondie here seemed to change the rules.

“It’s warm”.

Because she did like this hug.

“She’s warm”.

And so, she allowed it.

—Ah, don’t sweat it princess, I get that a lot - scratching her neck, the fox was now conflicted between returning the hug or not -I don’t mind it, trust me -

—Well, you’ve been nothing but nice to me right now. It’s not fair for me to act like this -

“Alright, this one’s too sweet not to return the hug”.

—Ok then, apology accepted, Luxanna -

Finally, the alpha returned the hug, immediately noticing how the omega got comfortable and relaxed in her arms.

—And here I thought you might be allergic to names or maybe short of memory - the blonde joked, receiving a short laugh from her counterpart -My friends also call me Lux, you can too if you want -

Huh. Does that mean she was her friend now? It’s been pretty long since she made new friends.

—Although I still don’t know your name -

It felt… nice.

—Well, now you got it all over you, Lux - the fox replied.

Slowly, Lux broke the hug and looked at the hoodie she was now wearing. Just like the motorcycle and it’s helmet, this piece of clothing had the fox’s personal touch, with graffiti like painting in each of the sleeves, a strange monkey symbol on one side in the front and random streaks of paint all over. On the end of each sleeve and under the symbol was a name.

—Jinx? -

—Yep. That’s me! -

It was funny, whoever saw her once she got out of the bathroom would have more questions than answers as to why was the blonde wearing, out of all the people in this school, Jinx’s own hoodie. That was not her only hoodie but it was her favorite, and along with all the artistic touches on it, it was the most recognized by everyone. She could leave it anywhere and no one would dare move it because they knew it was hers.

—Well, Jinx -

Oh, she liked how it sounded coming from her.

—Thank you, for everything -

Actually, everything sounded nice when it was being said by her. Her voice was like… it was…

“Oh, you are not thinking that you cheesy motherfucker. What the fuck is going on with you today?”

Indeed, what was wrong with her today?

Being nice? Offering her help? Help?

The Jinx helping someone?

She must have taken a drug or something without realizing it, or maybe the omega’s sweet scent was getting on her head because God, was it pleasing to just breath near her.

—And I was thinking… Maybe we can, well, meet at lunch? -

If only she could just get closer and…

—If that’s ok with you, of course -

“Earth to Jinx, the girl is asking you something. Respond!”

—Oh! Uh… Yea, yea it’s no biggie I… Uhm, yea -

“You are a disgrace to the alphas, oh my God”.

“Shut up”.

—And lunch! Yea sure! We can meet, I got no problem with that! -

—Great! I’ll see you there -

The retriever smiled at her for the first time and gave her another quick hug while whispering another thank you before leaving.

A few minutes passed and Jinx only stood there, still trying to process what happened. She shaked her head a few times, snapping out of the trance she’d enter.

Well that was interesting.

Everything that happened was so unlike her character. Helping, being nice, considerate.

This girl really was something else.

She seemed to be the exception to her every rule.

This girl…

—Luxanna - she said the name slowly, her tail slowly moving as she savored each letter, each syllable -Lux -

She laughed out loud. Ezreal made a mistake by telling her about the omega.

A big mistake.

—Pretty little thing - Jinx couldn’t help the smirk that made its way to her face -I’m interested -

Game on, Ezreal.

Her teacher really made her morning feel like shit but Jinx surely turned her mood around. It was such a surprise, the way this alpha acted with her, at first she thought the girl was a complete jerk. Laughing at her misery, making fun of her.

And well, the fact that she was a fox made it worst.

“Stop being so prejudiced. You know what they taught you was wrong”.

Yea. Society had this thing for hating foxes, it was difficult not to be influenced by it, not to mention her parents encouraged those beliefs, which made the situation worst. Just because they were scammed by a fox they decided to make business with a long time ago. Well it wasn’t the fox’s fault her parents didn’t think things through, if they lost money it was their own fault.

“But didn’t you just do the exact same thing with her?

“Well I didn’t bet my money on her”.

“No, you bet your life, which was actually worst”.

Ok she may have made the same mistake as her parents, sort of, by blindly trusting the blue fox to give her a ride to school.

But in her defense…

“I was desperate, ok?”

“That’s not a good defense”.

“Oh shut it, I’m fine!”

She was thankful Jinx turned out to be one of the good ones, she didn’t want to think what could’ve happen if not. No, she didn’t want to think about anything bad, right now she only wanted to find a good place to sit down and eat what the alpha gave to her.

They only just met today and Lux already felt like she had to do something to make up for the fox’s sweetness towards her.

“Maybe get her something to eat someday”.

She decided to sit down on the floor, somewhere near her next classroom. She placed her backpack next to her and just as she was about to take the sandwich from the bag she heard someone yelling.

—I’m telling you to leave me the fuck alone! -

Was that Jinx?

—And I’m telling you to stop running -

And judging by the sound of jiggling keys, was that a school guard?

In a matter of seconds the omega saw the blue haired girl coming down the stairs at full speed, followed by one of the school’s guard.

—Come on man! At least let me explain! -

She turned and notice Lux sitting on a corner and her face instantly lit up, the alpha’s ears perked up at the sight of her.

—Blondie! - she called before the guard took a hold of her shirt, making her mood instantly shift - Fuck! -

The fox started growling, her ears completely flat now. For some reason, Lux feared not for Jinx, but for the guards safety.

—You are coming with me - the guard declared.

—No I’m not, dammit! Let me go! This is not how you’re supposed to treat a student! - she argued, fighting to free herself from the guard -Lux! Lux please! Tell him! -

The retriever looked at her confused. Tell him what? She didn’t know what was going on. How was she supposed to help? What was it all about?

—Tell him I didn’t do anything to you! -

Oh.

Wait.

What!?

Lux got up as she watched how a fight broke between the alpha and the guard, a guard whom she did not seem to recognize. Could it be the new rookie she heard about?

In a moment, Jinx was trying to free her shirt from the new guard’s grip, and in another she was pinned down on the floor with a lock. A dangerous lock.

She’s seen way more aggressive interactions between the guards and the school’s problematic students, and none of those ended as this one. The guards weren’t supposed to act like this with the students.

—Agh! Just… let me… explain!  -

This one was getting out of line.

The omega didn’t know who the new guy was and she didn’t care, all she could see right now was that he was cutting the alphas air, intentionally.

So she did the most reasonable thing.

—Get off of her! -

She tackled him.

And it worked. The fox fell to the ground as she tried to regain her breath and crawl as far away from the guard as she could. Lux quickly got off the guard and immediately went beside Jinx, checking up on her.

—Oh God, are you alright? - she kneeled in front of her, hands finding their way onto the alphas back and shoulders, pulling her closer -Jinx? -

—Tell this asshole… I didn’t do shit to you in that bathroom - the fox said between deep breaths.

So that’s what this is all about.

—What? -

—Motherfucker saw me leave the bathroom after you and just lunged at me… He didn’t even let me explain -

Lux was not a part of the school’s security but even she new that was not how things worked. That was not the protocol, everyone knew that.

She was about to speak until she felt a hand grab her arm and lift her up and away from Jinx. The retriever looked to see the same guard she tackled now holding her by the arm.

—Let me go! - she ordered, but he only tightened his grip on her -Hey!

The hybrid’s brusqueness did not go unnoticed by Jinx, who growled in response and lunged at him.

—Don’t touch her! -

The alpha kicked the guard to the ground and went to stand in front of Lux, her ears shot back and teeth bared as a warning.

This was a mess.

They needed someone educated enough to stop this or else it would only get worse.

—What is going on here? -

“Oh thank God”.

The school principal approached the three of them along with two guards by his side.

—I’ve been informed of a certain situation happening on the halls by one of our teachers. Said situation having to do with a known blue fox -

The man looked at Jinx and she growled, as she was about to speak Lux placed a hand on her arm, stopping her.

—Please sir. I know how this looks like - the omega spoke softly -But if you let us explain, you’ll see my friend is not to blame here -

The principal seemed surprised to see her there, and even more when she spoke to defend the alpha beside her. The man actually looked curious as to what the hell had just happened on those halls and how it was not Jinx’s fault.

—Alright. To my office, the both of you. And you - the man pointed to the new guard -I’ll have a word with you latter -

So, turns out Jinx was actually a walking problem. Skipping classes, painting the school walls, escaping from the school at any hour of the day, getting into fights with other alphas over territory, pranking students, pranking teachers, being overly aggressive with others, and the list goes on.

In other words. She had no idea why the alpha sitting beside her was so nice to her in the first place.

And neither did the principal.

It turns out, the only reason she hasn’t been expelled yet was because she was a genius who, no matter how many times she’d skip class, would always ace her exams and other works.

But even then, Lux found out that Jinx was on her last warning. One more wrong step and she would be gone for good. It made sense now, her desperation over not being able to explain herself before. So now here they are, each of them explaining with fine detail everything that happened that morning.

They were separated at first, each one of them giving their version of the story on different rooms. A reasonable move, Lux though. You can’t have a possible victim try and give her version of the events while having her possible abuser present. That would only make the victim scared and could possibly make her change the story to favor said abuser.

Lux could tell by the look in the principal’s face that it was hard to believe the fox had actually done something good for once, but even if Jinx was prone to cause caos and get into trouble, neither Lux nor the principal could ever believe she would try to go as far as to try and assault the blonde in the bathroom and… well, take advantage of her. Painting walls and vandalizing lockers was nothing compared to sexually assaulting someone, which was exactly what the new school guard had accused her of, it was the reason the principal took his time to ask them separately what had happened.

Jinx gave her version of the story and so did Lux, both of them starting all the way from their first meeting in the morning until now.

Both versions matched.

Now they were both present in the same office, once again asked to retell the story. Now that they were together the principal noticed how they unconsciously took turns when talking. Each of them connecting the story piece by piece.

—She even hugged me! Me! -

The alpha couldn’t seem to get over that specific part.

—Oh, yea. I think she was surprised by that at first -

The principal heard each and every word, laughing to himself every time the fox would curse and earn a light shove from the golden retriever for not speaking to him with respect.

—Then she gave me something to eat, which I appreciate, thank you -

—Oh yea, did you eat? -

—I was about to, but then you appeared and I had to help you -

And also laughing when that happened. The two would get lost on little details like those, mostly Jinx, asking the omega if she had eaten or if she was still cold. It felt as if he was listening to two teenagers gossip about their day, there was nothing suspicious. The way they acted, the way they talked or looked at each other.

—And again. I tried talking, I tried being civilized as you always tell me to, but this one didn’t even let me speak - the alpha explained herself more calmly in the office -As soon as I came out the bathroom that asshole was on my tail -

There was nothing weird in their story, there was nothing wrong.

Jinx hadn’t done anything.

—Alright you two. I need you to give me a moment, I need to speak with our new guard -

The old german shepherd got up from his seat and went into another office where a certain guard had to wait. It was time to hear the other version of the story, although he was already sure of who would be leaving the school grounds today.

The two girls were left alone to wait for some time, both in complete silence. Lux thought about starting some conversation but it didn’t seem like a good idea, the alpha was still clearly angry so she would just let her to calm down.

She received a message from Ezreal, the boy wondering about her whereabouts.

“Lux, where the hell have you been loca?”

She let out a soft laugh, immediately catching Jinx attention.

“Real original Ez”

“That phrase should have given him an oscar”

“And here I thought you said you didn’t like any of the movies”

“I don’t I only watched them cuz u forced me”

“I asked you to*”

“You forced me to*”

“I only like the official parody that was made from it.

“Actually I’m surprised that phrase isn’t actually a part of the parody”

“You say you don’t like them, yet you sat down next to me and watched the last one on our free period yesterday”

“I was bored”

“Keep telling yourself that”

“Of course I will”

“No but seriously where have you been I haven’t seen you ever since you left the classroom, even the teachers are worried”

“Principal’s office”

“Oh”

“WAIT WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE?”

“Snitching on you”

“You’re too loyal to do that, I refuse to believe”

“Great, I’m not gonna be a suspect on your list then”

“Ok you did NOT”

“Relax, I’m just helping”

“With what?”

“Something, can’t tell you now”

“Alright but I want details later”

“Ok mister gossip”

“It’s Sir gossip”

“But seriously I’m not in trouble right?”

“How sweet of you to worry about yourself”

“Don’t worry there’s space in my heart for you”

“I’m starting to doubt that”

“Lol sorry it’s just hard to imagine you’re in there at all like what did you do?”

“Tackle an officer”

“WHAT”

She had thought about initiating a conversation but Lux seemed to have found something more interesting on her phone. That was good, she still didn’t know what to talk to her about and the silence was starting to get uncomfortable so, she was glad the blonde found something to distract herself.

She was even laughing.

“You should probably check your phone too”.

Yea, her phone had been vibrating like crazy in her pocket but she had little to no interest on seeing who it was, mostly because she knew exactly who it was. She hasn’t been to any of her morning clases and by now, her sister must be thinking she had already escaped.

Another message came in and she finally took the device from her pocket and unlocked it to see who it was.

“Jinx come on”

“I swear if you broke out of school again”

Surprise, surprise, it was Vi. She figured she should answer now that she saw the messages.

“I’m still here”

“FUCKING FINALLY”

“Where the hell are you?”

“Don’t get mad”

“Oh fuck”

“I’m at the principal’s office”

“Dammit it Jinx”

“LET ME EXPLAIN”

“I’m at the principal’s office”

“But I didn’t do anything”

“Then why are you there?”

“Defending myself”

“From what?”

“A crime I didn’t commit”

“…”

“U don’t believe me do u”

“Can u blame me?”

“Well this time I have a witness”

“Alright and what r u being blamed for?”

“Trying to force myself on an omega”

“WHAT”

”WHO THF FCK”

“WHO THE FICK SAID THAT”

“A new guard idk I’ve never seen him around”

“Oh he’s dead if I find him outside”

“Who’s your witness?”

“U know this new blonde girl everyone talked about last year?”

“Yea”

“She’s been with me all morning”

“She’s the one I’ve been accused of”

“You know”

“She’s helping me prove my innocence”

“That’s actually a solid witness”

“Fuck that guard”

“He better get fired after this”

“Yeh he better”

“Just hope the principal believes me”

“Us”

“I’m sure it’ll be alright, you got the girl with you so”

Jinx looked up from her phone, her eyes now on the giggling omega beside her.

The hoodie looked good on her.

Her hoodie.

She looked back at her own phone again, a smirk spread on her lips as she read the new message.

“Wanna find him outside after this?”

She quickly typed in an answer.

“At night when it’s dark”

“You know it”

“Gonna finish eating”

“I’ll be near the office with some food for when u come out”

“Thanks”

“Can you bring something for blondie here? She hasn’t eaten in all day”

“Sure, I’ll ask Cait for some help”

“Cool”

Hearing such accusation came like a punch in the gut to Jinx’s own pride, and you can’t just try to taint an alphas name like that and come out unharmed. That guard would be receiving a night visit soon.

The principal finally came in after some time with the new guard following close, he sat on the chair at his desk while the guard stayed standing near the door, his hat now on his hands, revealing a pair of small white ears on his head.

—Is this the young lady she tried to force? -

The principal pointed at Lux and the guard nodded his head. The blonde had to hold onto one of Jinx’s arms so the alpha wouldn’t jump out of her seat.

—If that is the case. Then why would she tell me no such thing happened between the two of them? -

The guard swallowed hard.

—What in the world gave you the impression of… -

—It is strictly forbidden for alphas to enter the omegas bathroom - the guard interrupted -She’s a fox! She… -

A loud bang on the desk resonated on the office as the guard mentioned Jinx being a fox. And knowing Jinx, the principal could bet she probably didn’t even pay attention to which bathroom she’d entered.

—I will not tolerate any sort of discrimination in my school! - the old shepherd growled, banging his desk once again -You hear me!? -

—Anything could’ve happened in there! - the guard argued -Her smell is all over her and… -

— Because that is her hoodie! -

—Well she could be threatening her in some way so she doesn’t speak! We don’t… -

—Do you or do you not have a solid reason for such an accusation? Respond now! -

The guard stayed silent.

—That’s all I need to know - the principal sighted -Apologize to the young lady this instant -

Jinx looked at her principal and then at the guard, the latter looked as if he just got asked to jump off a thirteen floor.

—I’m not apologizing to a fox - he muttered.

—I was hoping you would say that. Although this would’ve happen either way. You’re fired -

—What!? -

—Pack your things and leave my school this instant -

The guard didn’t move, he only looked angrily at each individual in the room. The old shepherd knew he wasn’t leaving without a fight but that didn’t mean the girls had to be there to listen, they’ve had enough of him already.

— Alright girls, you are both free to go now. And Jinx - the old beta gave her a look -My sincere apologies for the trouble -

The alpha smiled at him and gave a nod with her head.

—Thanks man! - she received a shove from Lux -I mean, Sir! -

The golden retriever got off her seat and happily took the fox’s hand, quickly guiding her out of the office, leaving the two adults alone.

Finally out of the office, Jinx felt like she could breathe again. She inhaled deeply, taking in the air along with the sweet scent of the omega.

That’s right, Lux was there too, still holding her hand.

—Finally out! - the blonde said -You don’t know how glad I am that you’re ok and that he believed us -

This girl.

—I don’t want to imagine what would’ve happened if that idiot had manage to get away with all that -

This beautiful girl.

—Jinx? -

Saved her ass.

—Are you ok? -

Lux was starting to get a bit scared, Jinx wasn’t responding, she was just there. Staring at her.

Was she not happy?

—Am I ok? - the alpha slowly repeated while looking at her.

The gears in her head began to turn. She’d imagine the fox would be happy, or at the very least, relieved.

“Oh God, could she be traumatized by all this?”

“No, I think you’re reading to much into it”.

“Situations like these can have a great impact on your mind, it could be posible!”

“And you think that alpha is weak minded? Have you taken a good look at her yet?”

”I mean…”.

“That thing looks like it could traumatize you instead”.

Ok maybe she was reading too much into the situation and Jinx was just processing everything.

—Oh you. Pretty. Little. Angel! - without a warning and with a big smile on her face, the fox picked her up an gave a full spin with the omega in her arms -I’ve never been better! Never! -

The retriever was startled at first but she couldn’t help the short laughs and giggles that escaped her while in the arms of her counterpart. She held onto the alpha to not loose her balance as she gave a few more spins.

“See? Not traumatized”.

—I swear, I’m so happy I could just…! -

The next thing Lux felt as she was put down was a pair of lips pressed against her cheek.

“Holy shit”.

“No. Definitely not traumatized”.

Well if she was feeling cold before, now she was burning hot.

“Now I understand The Weeknd when he said he could feel his face”.

“Wait but wasn’t that song actually about drugs?”

“I don’t care, I can feel my face and it’s hot!”

“Maybe that’s just your brain combusting”.

“Oh my God”.

The blonde was a blushing mess. Jinx seemed to realize what she had just done and immediately stepped away, letting go of the girl’s waist and taking a step back. Her ears went down as a faint blush took over her own cheeks.

—I wasn’t… I mean I didn’t mean to… Well I did but I didn’t…-

She tried apologizing. Tried.

—No, no! It’s ok! I mean you’re just, uhm… I’m not, well you’re…-

And Lux tried to reassure her.

Yes, they tried talking, but neither of their brains seemed to function correctly at the moment. Now it was two hybrids awkwardly staring at each other in front of the principal’s office, along with a few students that witnessed everything and others that just passed by and briefly looked at them.

—And here I thought you were gonna come out of that office with nothing but murder on your mind -

A voice interrupted whatever was happening between them and Lux mentally thanked whoever it was for breaking the weird atmosphere. She turned to see a girl with red hair and blue eyes, a wolf, approaching the two of them.

—Really thought you were in trouble - the girl said while handing Jinx a paper bag.

—I was, just not anymore - Jinx replied -Thanks sis -

So that was her sister. She found it a bit strange at first, a wolf and a fox as siblings. The cases of wolves crossing with foxes were something rare to see, at least on the city she used to live in. Now that she thinks about it, she’s seen a lot more cross-species here. It was actually refreshing to see everyone so unconcerned about crossbreeding, not giving importance to the nonsense her parents used to repeat to her about keeping the lineage clean. That never mattered to her. If she fell in love with a golden retriever like her then that was fine, of course, and if she fell in love with a fox it was just as fine. She didn’t care. There was no rule that said she couldn’t mate with a fox and have a little… Golden fox? Foxtriever?

“Huh. A fox and a golden retriever’s pup. How would it be called?”

“Oh my Lord, Luxanna what are you doing thinking about matting and why are you being so specific?”

“It’s an example!”

“Sure it is”.

—I see you’ve met Lux -

That voice was familiar.

—You know her? -

—We met soon after she was transferred here. And we have class together -

—Cait! -

Lux gave the girl a hug, glad to finally see a familiar face. She’d met Caitlyn on her first day, a tall girl with blue eyes and dark blue hair, as tall as every maned wolf she’s ever met. The girl seemed a bit intimidating at first, for an omega, but she was actually a very nice person and they clicked as soon as she started showing her around, thus their friendship began.

The retriever guessed that if Cait was there, then the girl beside her must be Vi. She has heard one or two things (a lot) about the wolf and her sister thanks to her friend, Caitlyn liked to share information sometimes (talk about Vi and maybe sometimes mention Jinx), she just never got to meet them until now.

—Here, Jinx said you might be hungry - Cait offered her a paper bag.

The omega took the bag and gave Jinx a look, the later quickly looked away while chewing on a piece of bread, trying to hide her face. She smiled and placed a hand on the alphas shoulder as a silent thanks, noticing how her tail slowly moved.

“Awww, is that a tail wag?”

“Yours is moving too, dumbass”.

Of course it was moving too, she had no idea why she was so happy, but o well, there she was. Happy that someone was worried about her not eating, and speaking of eating, she was dying of hunger so she quickly opened her bag to take whatever could be inside and finally feed herself.

—Well, seeing as the two of you are all smiles and Romeo here is not on handcuffs - Jinx choked on her food at Vi’s words -I want to know how did all of this even happen -

—I too, am curious about what happened - Caitlyn spoke -I know Jinx and what she’s capable of but, assaulting you is… hard to believe -

—Yea like, what the fuck? Who even said that? -

Jinx swallowed her food and started talking.

—So turns out there’s this new guard in school… -

—You mean Jeffrey? - Caitlyn interrupted.

—I… think so. You know him? -

—I’ve… heard about him. Not many good things - the omega sighted, a hand now on her forehead -I knew they shouldn’t have hired that chihuahua -

Vi spit the water she was drinking out of laughter.

—He’s a chihuahua? A chihuahua, attacking a fox? -

—I know. I asked my parents about him. A very… unstable alpha, he’s had trouble everywhere he goes -

—No shit. The fucker is racist and short tempered - Jinx spoke with a mouthful of bread -Saw me come out of the bathroom after her and immediately accused me. And not long after that he had me on a chokehold, even blondie had to step in -

—Are you telling me you let a chihuahua beat your ass? - Vi questioned.

Lux couldn’t stop the snort that came out without her permission. Everything was so serious and unserious at the same time.

—Violet this is serious -

—Well sorry if I didn’t want to get my ass expelled for knocking a dam officer -

Lux thought about it. Jinx was right, all the time she had only tried to escape from the guards grip and come to her, she never intended to fight. The blonde had taken a good look at the alpha, she could tell the fox was strong and could have easily overpowered the guard, but she played it safe and went straight to her winning card. The only time Jinx reacted in full violence was to protect her.

—Yea, not to keep on defending her but, she didn’t look like she wanted to fight -

—See? Blondie knows what’s up -

—Luxanna -

—Of course starlight -

Well that one was new. She laughed at the alphas insistence on calling her by everything but her name. It was… endearing, for some reason.

—Anyway, the joke’s on him cus he just got fired - the fox said casually -And I’m still here and I’m clean -

—See? He’s awful, new job and he didn’t even last a week - Caitlyn commented -And thank God for that -

—If he’s that bad, how come he still has his license? - Vi asked and Cait only shrugged in response.

A loud bang resonated on the halls and all hybrids present turned to look at the principals office door now open.

Speaking of the devil.

—You! -

Jinx didn’t have time to react for when the guard, or more like ex-guard, tackled her onto the floor, the fox’s bag of food flying in the air.

—Oh no you don’t bitch! - Vi was ready to jump in on the fight but Caitlyn stopped her -Let me go Cait! -

—You’re only going to make it worst! - the omega replied.

Lux watched as the other two alphas kept battling on the floor, Jinx no longer holding back and managing to pin the guy on the floor, not thinking twice before punching him repeatedly on the face. Many students gathered around to see how things would turn out, cheering for one of the alphas, making bets or trying to record the fight.

—You got fired bitch! You’re no longer allowed on the school grounds! - Jinx grabbed the the guy from the collar of his shirt and pulled him close enough to talk into his ear - I’m rightfully defending myself from an intruder -

He had also attacked first. She could leave him in the hospital and claim it was self defense.

The fox managed to land one last blow before the chihuahua under her was able to deliver a swift kick in between her legs, earning a loud squeal of pain from the fox and some brief “ohhhs” from the crowd. Taking advantage of Jinx’s distraction in the midst of pain, the alpha struck a punch, sending the fox to the ground with a bleeding nose.

Some students started booing and cursing the alpha for resorting to a dirty move.

—That’s just nasty man! -

Others started to push him around.

—That’s a cowardly move! -

—You pussy! -

And Caitlyn even let go of Vi.

—Ok, he’s all yours -

The wolf quickly imitated the chihuahua by kicking him as hard as she could in between his legs, receiving loud cheers from the crowd.

—How’s it feel! Huh? - she said, watching as the alpha clutched onto his crotch in pain and took a few steps back.

Still in pain, the guard failed to notice a certain fox moving through the crowd and approaching him. The alpha felt a tap on his shoulder and so he turned around to see who it was. In front of him stood Jinx, who quickly grabbed his head with both hands and slammed it against her knee. A loud crack was heard and the guard fell backwards, Vi moved out of the way as to let the alpha hit the ground, both sisters  silently watching as blood quickly flowed from the guards now broken nose.

Many students began cheering for Jinx like crazy, others began to collect their bets while the rest tried recording the guard’s face up close.

—What the hell is all this ruckus about!? - the principal’s voice was heard above the others -Out of my way! What’s all… -

The old Shepherd appeared along with three school guards by his sides, he stood in shock as he saw the newly fired guard on the ground with a bloody nose and Jinx standing inches away from his body, nose bloody and knuckles bright red. He looked around, the whole school hall now silent.

—Take him away - he pointed at the half conscious alpha on the floor and sighted -The rest of you dismiss, now! This isn’t some kind of show for you to watch, break is over, now back to class! -

Slowly, the crowd of students disappeared, leaving only Jinx, Vi, Cait and Lux. The old beta approached the fox and stared at her for a moment, then at the chihuahua that was now being held by two guards.

—What happened? - he asked softly.

—He attacked first - Jinx responded -They can tell you -

The fox gestured at Caitlyn and Vi and the old beta nodded in silence.

—Alright kid, I’ll let them explain what happened. You go clean your face - he then looked at Lux -Miss Crownguard, please accompany her -

—Come - the golden retriever took one of the fox’s hands -I’ll help you -

A sound of disgust caught everyone’s attention and they turned to see the guard, Jeffrey, now looking at Lux.

—They weren’t lying when they said blondes are stupid - the alpha spat, quickly receiving a smack in the head by one of the guards holding him.

—HEY! Watch how you speak with the lady! - Jinx growled, quickly moving towards him but being stopped by Lux -You dipshit! -

—Let’s just go! - Lux had to force the girl into moving by pushing her backwards, as she only kept growling at the other alpha like a rabid dog.

—Stop moving -

—Stop bringing that thing near my face -

—I’m trying to help you! -

—Well I don’t need help! -

Lux knew alphas were stubborn, but if there was even a shred of doubt left in her about that well known statement, Jinx made sure to erase it. It’s been five minutes and the alpha hasn’t let her clean the blood from her face, she just sat on a corner and refused to let the omega touch her.

—Can you stop acting like a child for a second? -

—Can you stop treating me like one? -

She stood in silence, trying to understand the sudden change of behavior in the fox. The blonde could see her counterpart was angry, but her ears still being down told her there was something else, something more than just anger, and the alpha wasn’t going to tell her willingly, that’s was for certain.

She would have to pressure her.

But how?

She doesn’t know Jinx, therefore she does not know what kind of approach would work with her.

“Maybe don’t pressure an alpha you don’t know into talking. She could get aggressive with you”.

That was right, it was better if she just minded her own business, she’s had enough luck today, she shouldn’t push it. She only needed to do what she came for and leave.

—Please let me clean your face - she asked as sweetly as she could.

—I’m not some dirty table you can clean with a dam wet cloth -

“This bitch”.

Lux took a deep breath. Two could play the same game.

—No. You’re right - she spoke -Your a dirty fox whose face got smacked just minutes ago. But not a dirty table, my apologies -

That seemed to get a reaction, as the alpha finally raised her head and looked at her.

—Who the fuck you calling a dirty fox, blondie? - Jinx angrily questioned.

—Well - Lux took a quick look around the empty bathroom -Is there another fox with us? -

—Oh you think your funny? -

—Yes, actually -

—Blind is what you are. I kicked his ass. This is no more than a scratch -

—A scratch hard enough to send you flying -

—He made a dirty move and that’s all, blondie -

—As if a fox like you doesn’t fight dirty -

Jinx was close to getting up from we’re she was sitting, her hands gripping the edges of the bench she was sitting on as she leaned in the omega’s direction.

—Stop calling me fox -

She was growling now.

—Stop calling me blondie -

The omega got closer and leaned in just enough to be face to face with the alpha.

—You’re a blonde, are you not? -

—You’re a fox, are you not? -

Just as Jinx was about to get up from her seat, Lux pushed her down by the shoulders and further into the bench, actually startling the alpha and leaving her speechless when she also sat on one of her legs.

—Now - the omega grabbed her by the chin with one hand and forced her to look directly at her -Are you going to let me clean your face? Jinx?-

Jinx didn’t respond, her brow furrowed, yet her cheeks with the slightest taint of red. She tried looking away but Lux didn’t let her.

—Yes - she finally muttered.

—Yes what? - the blonde pressed.

—… Lux -

—Good. Now stay still -

The retriever finally started to clean the dry blood from the alphas nose and lips, being careful not to press too hard on the area. She got so immerse on her task that she failed to notice when the alpha placed both hands on her hips to hold her in place. As the blonde was done, she noticed the wet cloth she was using went dry, the fox’s face was free of any blood now but she wanted to make sure there was nothing left so she tried to stand up to go and rinse the cloth.

—Hold on I need to get this wet aga… -

And only then, when Jinx didn’t let her move, did she realize the alpha was holding her. She tried moving again but that only made Jinx hold onto her even tighter.

She hadn’t thought about her plans backfiring.

—Hey, I need you to let me go - Lux nervously gestured to the now bloody cloth -I have to clean this now -

—You sure like cleaning stuff - the fox murmured while analyzing her features.

—Well, I like clean “stuff” -

Jinx let out a laugh and, surprisingly, let her go so she could rinse the cloth.

—Does that mean I’m more likable to you now? - the alpha questioned while observing her.

—I don’t know - Lux pretended to think about it -Maybe. Maybe not -

The golden retriever went back, now with a clean piece of cloth, and while standing she gently made the alpha raise her head by putting one finger under her chin. A quick search for any more blood traces on the alphas face confirmed no further cleaning was necessary.

—So. How is it, doc? - Jinx asked, seemingly on a better mood.

—All good. I think we’re done here - Lux said with a smile, booping the alpha’s nose -See? It wasn’t so bad, was it? -

As she was about to turn and leave, the fox grabbed her yet again by the waist and pulled her back and into her lap, this time making her sit astride.

—Yea. It wasn’t -

Now it was the retriever’s turn to have her cheeks red.

Jinx pulled her close, her arms circling her waist and her face only inches away. Lux let out a soft, almost inaudible, sight, yet it was caught by the alpha whose ears perked up at the small sound.

—W-what are you doing? - the omega questioned.

She didn’t receive a response right away, instead the alpha hid her face on the blonde’s neck, making the hairs at the back of her neck stand on end. The sudden touch, the sudden closeness, the sensation of the fox taking in her scent with a deep breath, it was all about to cause a short circuit in her brain. The only thing that kept her in her right mind was noticing how Jinx ears drooped once again.

—Hey - Lux tried calling her softly - What’s troubling you? -

—Why are you being so nice to me? - the alpha suddenly asked, still not moving.

—Why wouldn’t I be? -

—I’m a fox, am I not? -

Ah, so that was the problem. Looks like her previous comment had a bigger impact than she thought. Lux could also guess this was mostly that stupid guard’s fault.

Stupid chihuahua.

Stupid society.

—Jinx, I want you to look at me -

The omega slowly pushed the alpha away from her and held her face with both hands. There was no anger left in those eyes, right now the fox looked… tired. Lux couldn’t help but wonder just how many times in her life had Jinx been degraded, discriminated, insulted, judged or more for the sole reason of being a fox. She thought maybe her way of acting was just a way to get back at the world for it. You see me as a problem, then I’ll make sure to become the problem for you.

—What you are and what you aren’t doesn’t matter - the blonde spoke softly, her hands caressing the sides of her counterparts face.

—It matters to them - the fox responded, unconsciously leaning into the retrievers touch.

—Screw what other people think, they don’t get to decide who you are. You do. And for the record - Lux hugged her as tight as she could -What you are doesn’t matter to me -

Jinx returned the hug after a moment, holding onto her just as tight, burying her face on her neck once again. They stayed like that for a while, wrapped on a tight hug, taking in each other’s scent, enjoying the warmth.

It was weird. Normally, Lux was never this touchy with anyone she didn’t knew. So why was she so comfortably hugging a stranger whom she only met today? Or even worst, why was she sitting on said stranger’s lap? Considering the fact this alpha was a trouble maker, she should have her guard up or at least be cautious around her, not to mention Jinx’s scent was a clear warning of the possible danger she represented.

A fresh iron-like smell.

Blood.

It was the scent of fresh blood.

And this scent was now all over her, quite literally, and it was… soothing. It shouldn’t be, but it was for her, as weird as that could sound.

—Thanks princess - the alpha made some space between the two so she could have a clear view of the blonde’s face -I mean it -

Lux could also swear the scent was starting to get on her head.

—No need to thank me -

Because there was no way in hell that she just looked at the alphas lips and thought about kissing her.

“What the hell are you thinking?”

She decided to look at her eyes instead, to observe the strange but captivating color of her gaze, to try and distract herself from her previous thoughts. They had nothing else to do there, they were done cleaning her face, they could just get up and leave but no. They stayed there, looking at each other in complete silence, a silence that didn’t help on calming the omega’s mind, specially when she caught Jinx’s own eyes staring at her lips now.

It was a quick look.

But she saw it.

And a stupid idea came to mind.

“What if I just go for it?”

Jinx seemed like she was also thinking about it. So why not give it a try?

“Now you wanna kiss the stranger. Are you dumb?”

“She’s not a stranger, I know… well… her name”.

“And what else?”

“… Oh come on! What’s life without a bit of action in it?”

Worst case scenario was the alpha pushing her away and leaving.

“You just met her!”

“Does it look like I care anymore?”

“For all you know this could be planned, an act to get something from you”.

“Well if it is an act then she did a great job and is getting something from me, so congrats to her I guess”.

“Kissed the school’s vandal I just met. What a great achievement. Complete action”.

“Considering how boring my life has been, it is, in fact, action”.

Indeed, this whole day had been the most active, chaotic, weird, fun and tiring day of her life. If she was lucky she’d top it with a kiss from this strong, good looking alpha. She wouldn’t lose anything by trying.

The blonde’s hands moved slow, going from resting on Jinx shoulders to gently cupping her face. She tilted her head a bit, getting closer, her eyes darting between the alphas eyes and lips as the fox’s eyes did the same, watching her expectantly. She could feel the grip around her hips tightened, trying to bring her even closer.

Just inches away, Lux hesitated and Jinx couldn’t hold it anymore. The alpha closed remaining the distance, pressing her lips against the blonde’s.

“Holy shit”.

Completely unexperienced on both sides, but it was a kiss. Soft, warm, and addictive.

The omega wrapped her arms around the alpha’s neck, deepening the kiss, their lips moving slow, a lazy pace they found to enjoy. Each hybrid savoring the other, trying to make the most out of such opportunity.

Jinx, delighting in the sweet taste of soft warm lips, discovered Lux didn’t just smell sweet but she also tasted just as sweet. The alpha wouldn’t mind getting drunk to this. The blonde was a treasure she didn’t know was hidden in this school, on plain sight. If she had known she would’ve looked for her earlier.

So beautiful, so gentle, so sweet.

“Mine”.

Jinx made up her mind. Ezreal could go fuck himself. The “I saw her first” code could fuck off too. She’s never been one to follow the rules anyway. This girl was hers and hers alone, or at least, she would be.

They spend some time savoring each other, only taking small breaks to catch their breath, neither of them wanting to stop. Jinx tried going further, breaking the kiss and using one hand to try and make the blonde open her mouth with her thumb, the omega didn’t resist her, her lips parted knowing well what the alpha was looking for. They kissed again, their tongues now having the chance to meet and explore each other, their saliva mixing as the alpha placed a hand behind the blonde’s neck to deepen the kiss, sneaking the other under her hoodie and shirt, earning a soft moan from the girl as she felt a cold hand on her back.

They broke the kiss once again, both seemingly out of breath, their heavy gasps for air now the only sound in that bathroom. Lux joined their foreheads, starring at Jinx as she swallowed.

—I… - the alpha tried speaking, but her words failed her.

And what was she supposed to say on a situation like this anyway?

She didn’t know, so she did what she was best at. She looked at Lux and slowly began laughing, a soft contagious laugh to which the blonde joined in not long after.

—Wow - was the only coherent word that came out of the fox’s mouth.

—Feeling better? - the retriever asked, not really knowing what else she could say either.

The laughs slowly faded and they calmed down.

—If I say no, will you do that again? -

Lux didn’t answer, she watched as Jinx looked at her lips while licking her own expectantly. She grabbed the alphas shirt by the neck, ready to start again, ready to get lost on her taste once more.

But the sound of the bathroom door opening ruined her plans.

—You go, I don’t wanna get accused -

—Why would you get accused? -

—The Jeffrey could be watching -

—Don’t be ridiculous -

Panick rushed over them.

The alpha quickly retrieved her hands from the blonde’s body as she let go of her shirt and immediately got off her lap and went to one of the sinks to pretend washing her hands.

—What kind of name is Jeffrey anyway? Looser -

—Watch it, I have cousin who’s name is Jeffrey -

—Oh, sorry… Actually no, sorry but I hate the name -

—Of course you do -

Caitlyn laughed as she went inside, Vi following close.

—Yo, what’s taking you girls so long? -

The wolf looked at her sister sitting on a bench in a corner of the bathroom, her ears flat, her face looking down and covered by one of her hands as the other gripped the edge of the bench. She then looked at Lux seemingly washing something on the sink. Her hands? The omega had her back facing her so she couldn’t figure out what exactly was she doing.

—Something wrong? - Caitlyn asked.

—Yea is sum fin tha ma’ah? - Vi followed, immediately receiving a smack at the back of her head, courtesy of Cait.

The smack echoed throughout the bathroom along with the red wolf’s chuckles, she’d get that same reaction whenever she made fun of her friends (crush) accent.

—Not funny -

—Yea it’s nuh fuh-nee - another smack was heard and Vi laughed even harder -Ok, ok, dam, I’ll stop… Lux, you alright? -

Lux turned around to reveal a small wet cloth on her hands and then proceeded to throw it in a nearby trash can.

—Yes, it’s just… Someone was being a bit… - the omega looked at Jinx who was still covering her face -…Hard to treat, is all -

—Don’t tell me you were being an ass to this cutie here - Violet laughed as she went over to Jinx and patted her head -It was just some blood. You’ve seen worst -

—Why do you sound proud of that? - Cait looked at Vi.

—You gotta be proud if you survive -

—Survive what? -

—That’s another story for another day. I’ll tell you wot happened some other time - Vi answered, covering herself as Caitlyn raised a hand once again to smack her, her mockery not going unnoticed -Come on Jinx. Got your face cleaned up, now get up, we still got class. Principal said he’ll go with us to excuse us for being late -

—The four of us? - Lux asked.

—Nah, you and Cait are like, the role models of the school so you only get a note from him so you can show it to your teacher - Vi pointed at Cait who held a small paper in one hand -You two could lie your ass off and they would believe you. But because of foxy here they wouldn’t believe shit from us so we need the real thing -

—Well, let’s not keep on wasting time. Let’s go - the blue haired omega quickly pointed a finger at Vi who was about to open her mouth -Mock me one more time and we’ll be next on the principal’s office over school violence -

The alpha raised her hands in complete silence as a sign of peace, trying to hold her laughter.

—You are the most aggressive omega I’ve ever met - the wolf commented.

—And you like it -

Everyone turned to look at Jinx who had finally decided to raise her head and speak, her signature smirk on her face.

—Finally saying something. I was starting to think Goldie here ate your tongue -

Lux chocked on her own saliva. Jinx bit her own tongue.

—Do not reflect on me your wishes with miss “mongoose” on me - the fox tried turning the attention towards her sister.

—Wha…! -

—You did not used that name to refer to me with her, again -

And it looks like it worked.

—You traitor, she wasn’t supposed to know! -

—It’s her favorite nickname after “cupcake” - Jinx revealed.

—Is that so? - the omega crossed her arms as she stared at the red wolf.

—Jinx! -

—Need I remind you of your emo phase? Miss angry oil slick -

—Ohhhhh -

—It wasn’t… I was not… I was going through something! Ok? -

—And it sure wasn’t depression. You know, in fact, she was… -

—Another word from you and the last thing you’ll see will be my fist -

Jinx thought about it, she was angry for having her moment with the omega completely ruined. A fight was just what she needed to blow off some steam.

—Alright. I’ll stop this time -

But she didn’t want to fight her sister today, no, not when she just help her on a fight.

—That’s what I thought. Pussy -

Or maybe she did want to.

—Oh you wanna go? - she got off her seat.

—Can I leave first? - Lux got in the middle of both alphas -At least before I get dragged into another conflict with you -

—Yea let’s just go - Caitlyn started walking to the door and Lux followed her.

—We still meeting after school, right? - Vi asked.

—I’ll have to think about it - Cait responded and finally walked out the door.

—Aw, come on! -

The blonde omega turned to look at both alphas to wave her goodbyes.

—Don’t worry, I’m sure she still plans on seeing you - she gave them a smile -It was nice meeting you girls -

Vi nodded her head and Jinx waved back, the omega left and they finally stayed alone in the bathroom. The fox walked to one of the sink mirrors and looked at her face, the blonde did a good job cleaning the blood. It didn’t hurt now but she was sure she’ll feel the pain tomorrow.

—So… - Vi got her attention -What were you two doing? -

—Taking the blood off my face - Jinx answered dryly -What else would we do? -

—I’m not stupid - the wolf crossed her arms -I can smell the pheromones in here -

—She was just helping me cheer up, alright? -

—Uh huh -

—Come on, we got class -

—And since when do you care so much about our classes? -

Jinx ignored her and walked out the door, her sister following close just to tease her.

—You smell like her. And your face is red, just like hers -

—Shut the fuck up -

The rest of the day went by painfully slow, all clases as boring as ever. Not that Jinx was paying that much attention anyway, her mind kept on wandering to Lux no matter how hard she tried to distract herself.

She couldn’t stop thinking about all the shit that happened on one day. All because of meeting her.

All of it because she forgot an important paper and didn’t realize it until she was sat on the bus this morning and had to get off to run back home for it. That was the reason she met Lux. Because she actually felt bad for upsetting the blonde that morning, for making her lose the bus. And the fact that she felt something for a girl she didn’t know made the whole situation interesting for her, it made her stop the motorcycle and offer a ride.

She offered her help, and what’s worst, she insisted on it. She doesn’t know why but she kept pushing until the omega accepted. Later on Jinx saw her upset again and something inside her made her want to know what happened, a part of her, her inner alpha felt worried for the blonde and once again she went to her aid, which resulted on lending the girl her favorite hoodie and giving away her breakfast.

Completely unbelievable.

Then there was the fight with that Jeffrey idiot and everything that followed after.

And the bathroom. Oh she couldn’t stop thinking about what happened in there. All the kisses, all the touches, all that warmth. She loved it.

—Hey -

She raised her head to look at the owner of that voice, her sister was standing in front her, backpack in hand. Cait was standing a few inches behind her, she could guess they would be hanging out like Vi said before. Huh, the omega’s anger didn’t last long, how shocking.

—Get home safely - the wolf said knocking on her helmet to get her full attention -And no speeding -

—How much boring can you be? - Jinx rolled her eyes under her helmet.

—You know I don’t like you using this -

—Yea, it’s the only reason I still take the bus with you… Sometimes. Anyways have fun with your girlfriend -

—She’s not my girlfriend -

—Then what the fuck have y’all been doing all these years? Make a move already -

Her sister sighed while shaking her head with a smile and left to go with Caitlyn. Jinx waited until they disappeared from her view and turned on her motorcycle. She was ready to go but.

Lux.

The blonde attacked her thoughts once again. That smile, that scent, those eyes, those lips. It all haunted her and, surprisingly enough, she didn’t mind it. She found herself looking for the omega in the crowd of students, searching for those golden locks of hair until she finally found her. The girl was saying her goodbyes to Ezreal who, Jinx could guess, was offering her a ride home on his car.

Yea, he’d tell her all about it. How sooner or later he would be driving the girl to her home every day. Or how one day they would be side by side driving around the city for fun. Jinx had to admit, he was committed, but seeing him get rejected time and time again stopped being funny long ago. Honestly, now it was kinda embarrassing.

”Man, your game sucks if you haven’t made even a little progress”.

If only he knew Jinx got the girl to ride on her motorcycle without even knowing her. Jinx one, Ezreal zero. Hilarious.

To no one’s surprise, Lux denied the offer and Jinx watched how the alpha finally left, completely defeated. He walked on the fox’s direction and once he got near she couldn’t help but ask.

—Still no luck? -

—As you can tell - he answered dryly -Say. Why is she wearing your hoodie? I thought you told me you didn’t know her -

“Shit”.

—I didn’t. I met her this morning - the fox answered -You kept talking so much about her I decided to see her for myself -

It was half a truth and half a lie. Jinx was thinking about meeting her soon, just not exactly today.

—That still doesn’t explain why she’s wearing your hoodie - Ezreal crossed his arms -I could smell you all over her. You do know that’s technically like marking her. Right? -

Oh so he thought she was now marking territory. Well that wasn’t the intention, but marking the girl did sound good now that she thought about it. It was common move between alphas, giving their omegas something that would have their scent on it to warn others. The exchange of hoodies was the most popular, and it would be beneficial for her to keep anyone interested in the blonde away.

—Relax. She was just cold so I decided to give her my jacket - Jinx shrugged.

—Why exactly? You never let anyone borrow anything from you -

This dude.

—She saw I wasn’t using it and asked me for it. And since she’s a friend of yours, my friend, I thought I might as well make her a friend of mine too -

Lies. All lies! That girl wasn’t friend material, she was girlfriend material.

—Well… Still, she could’ve ask me. I wouldn’t have said no -

—Stop whining, she probably saw you wearing yours and thought you’d be cold too - if Jinx didn’t have her helmet on, Ezreal would’ve seen her rolling her eyes.

The blond gave her a look, he did not look too convinced and the conversation for Jinx was starting to become annoying already. She saw Lux heading over to a nearby bus stop and became impatient, one of her legs now rapidly bouncing up and down. If Ezreal didn’t stop talking soon she would say something she might regret latter.

—And man, stop asking so many questions! If anything, me marking her benefits you - she saw him raise an eyebrow, clearly interested.

—How? - the alpha questioned.

—Everyone in school knows that’s my hoodie. Now that she was seen wearing it, no one will dare to make a move on her. You got the road completely free -

Translation: Any posible suitor will see the personification of danger has her eyes on Lux and will now stay away from her if they value their life.

Ezreal thought about it, a closed fist under his chin.

—Shit your right - he looked at Jinx with a smile -You’re a genius! -

—Of course I am. School is just boring -

—You’re like, the best -

“Oh no buddy, I’m the worst”.

—Also, Lux told me you got in a fight with the new guard. Did you win -

—Oh yea, and even better, I got him fired! -

—Awh man really? I wished I could’ve seen that! - the alpha gave her a high five -Now you gotta tell me about it later cause Lux didn’t really tell me much. I’ll see you around! -

Jinx nodded and they said their goodbyes with a fist bump. She pretended to check her phone as she waited for the alpha to leave, soon hearing as he passed by on his car, making the engine roar as he left the school’s premises. Finally.

—Man. I kinda feel bad for him -

“No you don’t”.

—No I definitely don’t -

The alpha laughed. What would her friend think if he knew what happened? What would he do? Would he fight her? Hate her? Would it break their friendship?

So many questions.

She could think about it later, she really didn’t care right now. Right now she had things more important to think about. The alpha raised her head and looked at where Lux was standing waiting for the bus to arrive, she guessed the omega probably felt as if someone was watching her when she began to look around. Her eyes scanned the remaining crowd of students until they landed on Jinx, who nodded her head on her direction. Lux smiled and waved a hand at her, Jinx chuckled and decided to get closer, quickly accelerating her motorcycle to reach the blonde’s position. The retriever walked closer, noticing the fox had left a bit of distance from the rest of the students for a bit more privacy. They stood in silence looking at each other.

Jinx gripped the accelerator as every single image from their kiss came flooding back just by looking at Lux. The urge to hold her, kiss her and repeat it all again eating her on the inside. She had to hold onto something to stop herself from getting up and succumb to such desires. They barely knew each other, she couldn’t risk committing a stupidity like that. Again. It was stupid to think about that now of all times, considering their previous actions, but Jinx didn’t know if what happened between them was all a product of the heat of the moment and nothing more. It could have been their own instincts taking control for a moment. A natural reaction caused by a mutual feeling of  gratitude towards each other after all the events that occurred.

But if it were only that, then she wouldn’t be feeling as if she had spiders crawling on her stomach just by looking at the blonde. Right?

If it was all just for fun she wouldn’t be feeling so interested in getting to know the omega. Right?

She wouldn’t feel curious about who the girl is, what she likes and what she doesn’t. Right?

If it all meant nothing Lux wouldn’t be blushing while looking at her right now. Right?

Right?

It all meant something. Sure, what Jinx was feeling now could be pure carnal desire, she was a young alpha in the midst of hormonal development after all, so a kiss getting her all riled up was technically normal. Almost natural she could say. The same was possible with Lux, a young omega in the midst of her hormonal development.

But if she left all that aside, Jinx could tell she was genuinely interested in the blonde.

Yea.

She liked her and wanted to get to know her correctly. And if what her instincts were telling her was correct, Lux felt the same way.

Taking a deep breath, the fox tried composing herself, finally getting out of her own head.

Huh.

How long had she been starting at Lux?

Why was she laughing?

And what was that constant flapping noise?

Jinx looked back only to find her own tail moving like crazy, the furry limb acting as if it had a consciousness of its own. Embarrassed and in panic, she quickly slapped a hand over her tail, stoping it from moving any longer. Lux only kept on giggling at her side and Jinx could only give thanks that her helmet was covering her face and hiding the bright red that had taken place on it.

Dam the omega was beautiful.

And her laugh was like…

Like music to her ears.

There! She said it! Cheesy as fuck! Yes. But still true!

The alpha was determined. If she had the slightest chance with the omega then she had to play her cards right. If she wanted to taste those lips again in the future she had to start working now.

—I see you’re in time for the bus - the fox finally spoke, breaking the silence as she gestured over to the bus that drove closer to their location -Lucky me, I won’t have to give you a lift -

—Funny, I could swear the lucky one would be me - Lux crossed her arms, a pretty smile adorning her face - I won’t have to watch hopelessly as someone skips red lights and goes over the speed limits -

—I thought you were on a hurry -

—I was. And at least you kept me alive so thank you -

—I can take it slow now if you want. I mean, we’re already out of this jail. Got nothing else to do, nowhere else to be -

Jinx leaned back on her motorcycle as she watched the blonde shift her weight on one leg, the brief movement of her hips enthralling. The omega raised an eyebrow as she looked at the alpha with a flirty smile on her face.

—Are you perhaps asking me to come with you? - she asked.

—I’m just, ion know, just saying I can make the trip more fun than scary - Jinx shrugged as she played with the top of the gasoline tank, nervously tapping her hands on the metal - Make it better than a ride on a bus full of noisy people -

The so mentioned bus slowly came to a stop just a few meters from them, the screech of it’s brakes announcing its arrival and soon everyone was boarding.

—Tempting. But I no longer have a reason to go with you -

Jinx studied the girl in front of her for a second, her stance was somewhat a mix between playful and flirty.

Was she… playing hard to get?

—Do you need a reason to? - the blue fox questioned tilting her head and the blonde only shrugged in response.

Interesting. She never played this kind of game with an omega before. So she had to find a way to convince her, huh? An excuse to get the retriever to come with her. She could do that.

—Ah… Then I’m afraid I can’t seem to find such reason - Jinx watched as her counterpart chuckled at her response, clearly disappointed at her giving up so easily —Well then - the fox took off her helmet and placed it on top of the gasoline tank so she could stare clearly at the blonde - It was nice meeting you starlight -

The omega watched as Jinx took the safety glove off her right hand and extended said hand on her direction to say her goodbyes.

—I guess I could say the same -

Lux didn’t think about it twice and shook her hand, she gave it a gentle squeeze and, as she was about to let go, the alpha held onto her hand tightly.

—Wha… -

She tried to release herself from the girls grip multiple times, the fox watching all too entertained as she failed every time.

—Jinx, let go -

She didn’t oblige.

The sound of a horn reached their ears and they both watched as the bus started taking off. Lux was about to call out for it until a hard squeeze on her hand made her stop and flinch from the short pain. The vehicle passed by them, leaving her behind, and just like that, Lux missed the bus once again.

—Oh would you look at that. The bus just left your ass again. What a shame, really -

The alpha released her grip on the blonde’s hand and started putting her glove back on. On that moment the omega’s eyes widened in realization, she looked back at Jinx who was now looking at her with a smirk.

—Don’t suppose you need a ride back home, do ya? -

Lux could only chuckle in response, that wasn’t exactly the strategy she was expecting from Jinx, but then again, they still didn’t know each other so she should have expected anything from her.

—Sly fox -

The alpha looked at her with an expression that only screamed I’m fucking proud of myself right now.

—Think fast -

Lux caught the helmet, a sudden feeling of deja vu invading her body. Her mind went back to that morning, where an unknown blue fox on a motorcycle waited for her with a smirk on her face after throwing her a safety helmet.

Huh.

Who would’ve thought she’d end up making out with said fox on a bathroom a few hours latter.

Not her.

Dam hormones…

—I feel like I’ve seen this before - the omega played with the helmet on her hands -This… situation -

—Is this the part we’re you say you don’t know me and I have to convince you? Because if it is - Jinx extended an open hand - We both know how it ends. So why not skip it? -

—You’re going to take it slow right? -

—As slow as you’d like, princes -

—If it takes you less than thirty minutes we are gonna have a problem -

—I’ll make it last an hour if you want -

—The slower the better, so yea, make it last -

—We’re still talking about the ride back home right? -

The blonde adverted her gaze, the heat rushing to her face at the alphas suggestion. Now that she thought about, that part of the conversation did sound a bit weird. Imagine walking past an alpha and omega and suddenly hear them talk about making it last more than thirty minutes.

—You did not just go there -

—Oh I did, and I know you did too -

Guilty as charged, the blonde’s mind shamelessly went down a dirty route, her thoughts playing dirty tricks on her as it forced unwanted images of the alpha having her way with her on all posible scenarios. Unnecessary images she found herself enjoying, to her horror, along with a sudden question about the alpha that picked her curiosity: “Just how long would she last? How many rounds?”

A sudden chuckle brought her back to the real world.

—Ohhhh you definitely did, you dirty minded omega - the blue fox mocked, one of her hands gesturing to the retriever’s red cheeks.

—Oh shush. You’re no innocent either, you said it yourself. You’re actually worst - Lux countered.

Jinx wouldn’t deny it. Her mind had quickly wandered to the same place as soon as the words take it slow came out of the blonde’s mouth. She wasn’t exactly proud of it, but she wasn’t ashamed either.

Curious.

She was more curious than anything. Curious to know just how much the blonde could take from her, and curious to know if she (Jinx) could do enough to satisfy the girl.

Her pride as an alpha told her she could do that and more. Yea, Jinx was sure she could make the blonde squirm and scream her name. Make the most of it if Lux ever gave her the chance and…

“DAM THIS HORMONES ARE WILD”.

“ANYWAY. MOVING ON, YOU PERVERT”.

—Im not denying anything. You’re too pretty for me not to think about it - that was more honesty than she expected to let out -Now come on, let me take you home. Safely -

Lux huffed, a slight blush still present on her cheeks, she took Jinx’s hand and settled herself on the motorcycle, she put on the helmet and held onto the alphas waist.

—You’re not so bad yourself, Jinx, I’ll give you that -

—Well, you’d be the first to think that way -

The ride back home was surprisingly calm, just like she said, Jinx took her time driving. She didn’t go over the speed limit, she didn’t skip any red lights, in fact, the red lights were the perfect opportunity for Lux to start small conversations with the alpha, getting to know small details about her. The fox seemed to do the same, asking as many questions as she could to know her better, even asking if she’d like for her to take small detours to “show her around” or “enjoy the ride a bit more”. Lux knew it was just an excuse to win more time, and she wasn’t against it, so she agreed.

—There’s also a bar near this place, The last drop, ever been to it? -

—Not really -

—Wanna see it? -

Did she?

—Sure

They spent a full hour driving around town, a fun way to end the disaster of a day they just had, relaxing as the warm air of the afternoon made contact with their bodies. It would’ve lasted longer, sadly, Lux had to get home before her brother did so the joyride had to come to an end.

They finally headed towards Lux’s home, the familiar streets coming into view.

—That your house? -

—Yes! -

The omega scanned the house as they got closer, luckily for her, her brothers car was nowhere in sight. That was good, she wouldn’t have to give any explanations.

She got off as soon as the motorcycle came to a stop and handed back the alphas helmet.

—Sooo. This your home, huh. S’not that far from mine actually - Jinx looked at the blonde with a smile - Small world -

—Indeed - Lux replied, her legs refusing to move away from the alpha as her mind looked for a way to say goodbye.

It was so weird. She wanted her to stay, to keep talking, to invite her in.

To do what? She didn’t know. She just knew she wantedsomething.

But she couldn’t risk getting caught by her brother, she new he’d be there any time soon. It could be a complete mess.

“Why would you fear getting caught if you only wanna talk?”

“Because talking is the least I want to do”.

She wouldn’t try to fool herself anymore, if she ever invited that alpha in they’d go straight to her bedroom, no detours.

Guess I should go now… -

She panicked when the fox spoke.

—Wait! Your hoodie - she was really trying hard to make the moment last a bit more -Let me just -

—Keep it. You can give it to me tomorrow - Jinx quickly reassured -That way you’ll have an excuse to talk to me again -

Jinx winked at her and the omega couldn’t help but giggle at the sudden idea. It was a good one.

The fox only hopped that laugh meant the blonde would go along with the game. Not only because Lux keeping the hoodie meant she could talk to her again -the alpha didn’t need any excuse to look for her again, she would still talk to her anyways- but because Lux keeping the hoodie meant her scent would be all over the omega for a longer time. Lux could get used to her quickly that way.

—Alright -

“YES”.

“I mean… Cool”.

—Cool then -

“Now ask for her number”.

“Wait what?”

—Again, thank you, Jinx -

Lux got closer and the next thing the alpha felt was a pair of soft lips pressed on her cheek, as close as posible to her own lips.

—It was nice meeting you -

The alpha looked at her completely dumbfounded.

—Yea, yea I uh… Nice, nice meeting you too yea -

Jinx could tell, by the look Lux was giving her, that she looked and sounded stupid right now.

But honestly? She didn’t care.

—See you tomorrow, fox -

“Oh the way she just said that, girl call me that way whenever you want”.

She watched as the omega turned and started heading towards her house.

“Her number, ask for her number!”

“Wouldn’t that be too fast?”

“You’re one to live life fast, I mean, the bathroom’s enough proof”.

“That’s true”.

“And you’re not a coward”.

“The fuck I’m not”.

The fox took a breath.

—Hey! - she had to ask before she could loose the courage to - Mind gifting me your number? -

Lux turned around and took her phone out of her pocket, she pretended to think about it for a few seconds as she stared at the black screen, making Jinx anxious.

—Tomorrow - she responded.

The alpha failed to understand.

—What? -

—Ask me tomorrow. That way you’ll have an excuse to talk to me again -

She smiled and watched as Jinx’s tail started wagging and she didn’t try to stop it this time.

—I feel like I’ve heard that before - the fox said.

The blonde’s phone buzzed on her hand and a notification sound followed right after. Lux unlocked it to see it was text from her brother.

“I’ll be home late”

A sudden rush of excitement invaded her body as she read the message.

Could she…?

No. Not yet. She had to make sure of something first.

“When exactly is late?”

She waited impatiently for the response, giving Jinx a quick glance, noticing the alphas curious gaze was on her.

“9”

“Won’t be home for dinner”

“You can order something if you want”

That only meant he was spending the day with his girlfriend.

And spending the day with his girlfriend meant he wouldn’t make it at 9 but more at 10.

Which also meant she had the house to herself so she could….

—Soooo… -

Lux looked up from her phone and back to the fox who spoke trying to get her attention. She raised an eyebrow as she waited for another word to be said by the smiling alpha.

—Can I have another goodbye kiss? -

It was sudden, but not surprising.

Lux quickly typed in an answer for her brother and placed her phone back on her pocket. She looked at Jinx with a smile and a blush on her face, said blush caught the alphas attention.

—I don’t know - she responded, the house keys now on her hands - Guess you’ll have to find out. Wanna come in? -

Jinx’s eyebrows shot up as the heat rushed to her face. She didn’t say a word, but she quickly turned off her motorcycle and pushed it to the back of the house, hiding it from the main entrance. The fox took her keys and grabbed her backpack, remembering there was something quite important in one of its many pockets, given to her by her father.

“For precaution” he had said.

The alpha laughed at the memory as she got back to Lux, her eyes now unable to leave the omega’s tail, following her close when she opened the door and walked inside the house.

—Do you live alone? -

—No. No, my brother’s with me -

The omega locked the door, set her keys on a small table near the entrance and took the alphas hand, guiding her up the stairs and into her room.

—Then won’t you get in trouble for this? -

—If we’re caught, yes -

Both backpacks were placed near the bed.

—Sounds like you’ve done this before. Have you? -

—No. This would be my first -

Lux started taking off the hoodie.

—You, on the other hand, look like you’ve done this before. Hiding you motorcycle and all -

—Honestly that was just pure improv, you’ll be surprised to know I’m just as new as you in all of this -

Jinx started taking off her gloves.

—That’s a relief. I was starting to feel jealous of omegas I didn’t know of-

—I could say the same thing. Was already planning on hunting down a few alphas -

—Hunting. You’re a possessive one, huh? -

—With a girl like you, who wouldn’t be? -

Both pair of shoes got kicked to the sides.

—I’m flattered -

—So, can I have that kiss now? -

The omega got closer, wrapping her arms around the alpha’s neck. Jinx responded by holding her waist and pressing their bodies together.

—Depends. Will you take care of me?

—Yes -

Nose with nose.

—Will you be gentle? -

—Yes -

Words becoming whispers.

—Will this be a nice experience? -

The best -

—Then. Go ahead -

Jinx gulped, her breath threatening to get out of control. Lux wouldn’t close the gap between them, waiting for the fox to make the move, but Jinx wasn’t sure. The alpha wanted this to be a good experience for them both, but the fear of getting caught didn’t let her continue. What if Lux’s brother came home while they were in the middle of it all? What if they get caught? Lux would get in trouble, and Jinx didn’t want that, she also didn’t want to rush the process because of it.

—How much time do you think we have? -

Lux laughed, the sound coming out as a soft, gentle huff. She caressed the back of the alphas neck, her hand moving to play with one of the fox’s ears.

—Five hours. Four if we want to be completely sure -

Jinx let out a sight of relief, that was more than enough time, although, something inside her told her it’ll soon feel like no amount of time with the omega would ever be enough.

—Let’s stop wasting any more time then -

The alpha finally closed the gap, rejoicing on the warm feeling of the blonde’s lips against her own once again. Her taste addictive, her scent intoxicating. Again, she wouldn’t mind getting drunk to it all.

Lux pulled Jinx as she started moving backwards, an action that made the alpha lift her up and have her wrap her legs around her waist. The sudden movement made the blonde gasp in surprise and the alpha took the opportunity to slip her tongue into her mouth, earning a soft moan from the omega.

The fox walked over to the bed with the retriever on her arms and let herself fall backwards, a laugh escaping them both as they bounced on the mattress. The alpha sat up with the blonde on her lap and started to leave a trail of kisses down her neck, nibbling here and there as she listened to her partner hum in content and felt as a soft hand sneaked under her shirt and ran over her back. The contact made her inner alpha want more, so she pushed the blonde back and pinned her down on the mattress, her weight enough to keep her in place.

They kissed again as Jinx started grinding against Lux’s middle, their breathing between kisses growing more and more heavy as the blonde followed the alpha’s movements, both hybrids quickly getting lost in the feeling of their friction, their minds clouded by growing arousal.

Soon enough, their heavy breaths turned into gasps.

The gasps turned into moans.

And the moans became the melody of a moment full of passion and carnal desire, the melody for a dance of two bodies moving against each other, bathed in sweat, back scratches and love bites that were sure to leave a mark for the next few days.
