The day for Lara Jean and Peter’s wedding had finally came.
It was finally the day of Lara Jean and Peter's wedding. Kitty had asked Yuri to go with her when the wedding was first announced, a lot had happened in between that time. One of the main things was that Yuri was actually Kitty's girlfriend now. It took a long process, mutual pining and longing, many dates but it had finally happened. Yuri had asked Kitty to be her girlfriend around a year ago. Turns out Lara Jean took longer than a couple months to plan a wedding, even with Peter and Margot’s help.
Now it was finally the day of the wedding date, the most important one in Kitty's eyes. Not because she wanted things to go good for her and Yuri, but because she wanted it to go good for Lara Jean and Peter. It was their day. Kitty let out a frustrated sigh as she moved her hair out of her face again, fixing the end of her dress. She looked down at her nails, a yellow shade. They were chipped. She was panicking of course, she wanted today to be perfect for her sister.
She didn't panic this much for her dad and Trina’s wedding when she was younger. It was more Lara Jean, she was probably also panicking. “Everything okay?” Yuri broke the silence after putting her lip gloss down, looking at Kitty. The girl let out a hum. “You shouldn't stress so much about this?” She told the girl when walking over, wrapping her arms around her waist and hugging her from behind; she brought the girl closer.
“Kinda hard not too,” Kitty let out a chuckle, though it was very clear she wasn't joking. Yuri nodded, laying her chin on the girl's shoulder as she traced the promise ring. “Everything is gonna be okay? You're gonna be okay. Besides, it's not your wedding? It's Lara Jean's and Peter's, not yours. So please,” She turned kitty around so she faced her, her hands on the girl's arms. “Calm down and just enjoy today? That's what Lara Jean would want.”
At that, Kitty nodded and let out a breath. “I'm sorry, it's just– today means a lot to Lara Jean and she's my older sister. I went today to do well for her.” Yuri smiled back at her, she loved how much kitty worried for her sisters even if she didn't always show it. “It will, they'll say their vows, say the ‘i do’s and they'll have their dance. And we'll have our dance too?” Yuri added the last part, a nervous tone in her voice, like she was unsure they would.
“Of course we will.” She grabbed her girlfriend's hand, Yuri giving hers a squeeze. “You look beautiful, Kitty.” No matter how many times it was said, her heart always jumped at that. Yuri smiled, looking down at their hands. “Now, let me repaint your nails?” Yuri dragged kitty to the other side to make her sit down.

Kitty was a bridesmaid, so was Margot while Chris was Lara Jean's maid of honor. Kitty held the flowers in her hands, shooting a look to Yuri who sat in the second row. The girl smiled, her eyes on her from the beginning. Then the man between Lara Jean and Peter who was officiating the wedding started speaking again, that's when kitty turned her head back to the front, Yuri did the same. “Do you, Peter, take Lara Jean to be your wife?” He asked, looking towards Peter who was quick to nod.
“Yes, I do– I wouldn't want anyone else,” He smiled at Lara Jean, wiping a small tear away from under his eye. “And Lara Jean, do you take–” She cut him off, speaking before he could finish. “I do,” She let out a breathy laugh when realizing he hadn't finished. With that the two moved on to their vows, Peter grabbing a piece of paper from his pocket that he wrote his vows on, holding the paper with one hand as he looked at Lara Jean.
Yuri smiled, looking at kitty again, tracing the promise ring on her finger. The vows went quick, and before anyone could blink, Peter and Lara Jean kissed to confirm the moment, then walking back down the alie.

Yuri sat at the table with kitty now, completely amazed by the girl. “Are you gonna stare at me the whole time or are you gonna ask me to dance?” Kitty spoke up, a certain look on her face. It was like she was scheming. “What are you planning?” Yuri tilted her head, unsure if she was actually plotting something. Just a few hours ago, she was panicking about Lara Jean's wedding going wrong, now she looked like she wanted to play a prank or do something that would make others laugh.
“Nothing! Nothing, I just… I may have told Peter that if he hurts Lara Jean I would personally hunt him down and kill him…” She mumbled the last part, sending a look to Peter. When the man saw Kitty and Yuri looking towards him, he looked like he was unsure what to do. He looked away, turning towards Lara Jean. Yuri let out a sigh, shaking her head and getting up from the seat. “Come on, you promised me a dance.”
Her hand reached out towards her, waiting for kitty to grab it. Once she had, Yuri pulled the girl up, dragging her off to the dance floor. It was a slow dance making Yuri wrap her hands around the girl's waist, Kitty wrapping hers around the back of Yuri's neck. “I'm really glad you're here with me.” Kitty whispered, looking upwards at her. Yuri smiled, brushing Kitty's hair out of her face so she could see her, they swayed from side to side.
“I'm glad you asked me.” Even though it was obvious why kitty asked her, the two weren't fully dating when she had asked. Something could have gone wrong, kitty could have changed her mind. She could have asked someone else, but she chose Yuri. “I wouldn't want anyone else here with me.” Just the way Kitty said it, how she told her, it meant the world to her.
Yuri let out a sigh, leaning forward and placing a kiss on Kitty's forehead. “I love you, Kitty. There's no one else in this world I would want, it's only you. It's always been you.” Kitty blushed slightly, her cheeks turned a light red.
“I love you too.”
