First day back
It's the first day back from winter break, Mia's been worried the entire time, she hates this school, she hates this town, but she stays because she has friends.. well one friend here now.
As she heads to her first class Ally comes up to her
Ally:"hey Mia... like your hair, you dyed it.. the colour.. it's okay.. it could use some work it'd patchy" Ally is a relatively nice person underneath her... rude persona, shes not very good at hiding how nice she wants to be, Mia knows that Ally isn't really like this, she's always been good at noticing when someone's putting on an act, though, it's not hard to tell that Ally is but somehow, Mia seems to be the only person who's noticed it. Mia takes a moment to respond to Ally deciding to just take it as a compliment Mia:"thanks! I did it myself, I really like the colour, pink has always been my favourite!" Mia stops realizing that Ally doesn't want to hear all of that, she continues walking to her math class.
Mia ends up being a few minutes late to class but is able to sneak in and sit beside Jacqueline.
They have a test today, Mia forgot and she didn't study "shit.." Mia mumbles Jacqueline: "you okay? you don't usually swear out of the blue like that", Mia replies, "yeah, I just forgot to study, it'll be fine though" Jacqueline nods and the teacher passes out the test sheets.
After math they have P.E. Jacqueline and Mia have most classes together so they walk together to P.E.
Mia never changes for p.e, Jacqueline stopped questioning her on it after the first few weeks they started being friends.
The rest of the day goes well, Jacqueline also noticed that Mia doesn't eat lunch but just brushed it off, at the end of the day mia goes home and goes straight to her room.
She's anxious, she knows that she failed that math test, but she won't fully know until tomorrow, she's always been viewed as ungrateful by her classmates for not being happy with anything less than a 95 but, none of them know why she isn't happy with it.
She goes to sleep without eating dinner, she barely feels hungry anymore, she's so used to going to bed hungry that it doesn't even bother her.
