The gods and the demons were playing a dangerous game. The game involves harbingers of the storm. They were handling the fate of D's and their friends and families.

One of the D's whom fate couldn't deny happiness due to all sufferings he had eradicated was Monkey D. Luffy, the Second Pirate King. He had risen to the top of the Pirate Era with his bunch of misfit crew members, to fulfill his and their dreams.

He had eradicated and destroyed the World Government to aid his father and the only brother alive. It was only done because of the requests of his friends which he made along his journey.

But alas! Everything needs to have an end like it has a beginning. Monkey D. Luffy met his end with his brother Sabo, together after fighting to the death against Imu and Akainu. Their chosen family dead, their friends eradicated, but they died with a smile on their faces, learning they have accomplished their goals in razing the world government to the ground and will soon meet their families and friends and will be reunited with Ace in their afterlife.

Demons were against the Gods for taking the Second Pirate King as they wanted to hear his painful shrieks of cry in the depths of Hell. Gods knew this, but still, instead of sending them to their new lives, they sat to discuss the fate of the great man. A discussion which was better if it would have not been taken place.

Instead of sending Monkey D. Luffy to a normal world, he was sent to the World of Wizards and Witches. Instead of sending him into a body with no recollection of their past, he was sent with memories. Monkey D. Luffy was sent to the body of the soon-to-be savior of the Wizarding World, who would lead the next era to its Dawn once again, but where he would be hunted by bad wizards and witches.

Luffy was five years old when he left a family of animals, which treated always made him work and gave him little food. Little Luffy had set on an adventure to explore the existing World. There were cars, tall buildings, amazing gadgets, parks and less forest. But the little one didn't care. With a stick in one hand, which according to him was a thing of a man's romance, he went off of the house, with a quick 'thank you' to the Dursleys, who were horrified to see their kitchen licked off clean and half of the house destroyed.

Nevertheless, Luffy set off on his journey to see if he could find someone in this World. He missed his brothers, who were his early companions in his other life. He missed his crew, who were there with him on every adventure. Maybe someday he can find someone. But the possibilities were thin, and his instincts were not able to find a single one of them.

Luffy was often said to be dumb, which was most likely true, but he had instincts that never betrayed him, even while choosing where to spend his nights. Even when he was surrounded by slavers or boogeymen. Something told him always that he will find some people from the past, but not everyone. It scared him. It made him cry. He wants his brothers, friends, and even Jiji and his Dad, who wasn't there most of the time. They were all his family, but he didn't have any with him right now.

Being alone is worse than being hurt.

He was hurting from inside, he knew it. But his face always lit up with a grin when he saw something amazing, erasing the hurt deep within from the surface.

He was traveling the world for six years now. He walked straight ahead, never stopping in the face of hurt. Eating stolen food and wearing a battered red shirt and a short with his legendary sandals. He knew he would find someone again.

His nearly 11 years old stomach growled loudly. Without waiting the young pirate went to the fruit stall, and grabbed few apples in front of the vendor, and ran.

"THIEF!!"

Luffy ran into the alleys, dropping half of the fruits in his mouth. Despite his young age and short stature, he lost his pursuers easily, but he was again lost in the maze-like alleys and had come to a dead end. The people following him were nowhere near him, so Luffy sat on a pavement and devoured the remaining fruits. The sun was falling to the horizon already and young Luffy had not yet found a place to spend his night. Maybe he should walk some more? Maybe he should sleep here and later see what else he can do in this town?

His thoughts were cut short when an owl perched in front of him. The owl was staring at him, and he stared back. He tilted his head to the side and so did the owl.

"SO COOL!!!" Luffy exclaimed with starry eyes and went to chase after the owl who soared above his head.

The owl for all answer, puffed his chest at him and settled on his left arm.

"Ne, ne, can you poop?" The young boy asked the little owl, who gave him an indignant look and dropped a letter on the ground, and settled itself on the nearby pavement, staring at him.

"Come on!" The little boy pouted at the lack of an answer to his question. The owl pointed him to the letter on the ground, which the rubber boy picked up and offered back to the owl. "Yours?"

The owl seemed to have gained a tick mark and pecked the rubber boy's head. "Ouch! Ouch!" The owl perched on his left arm after the hit. Luffy stared at the envelope in his hands, a confused look on his face, and then looked with his beady doe emerald eyes at the little owl.

He tore apart the envelope, which again earned him a peck on his head for not opening it properly, without looking at the envelope. The paper inside contained a strange message written with emerald green ink.

HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDY

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore
(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc,. Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)

Dear Mr. Potter,

We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. Please note the list of necessary equipment and books.

Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

Very sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall
Deputy Headmistress

Luffy turned and flipped the letter. He didn't understand the gibberish it contained and threw it. The owl screeched at him in disagreement.

"A school?" Luffy scrunched his face at the owl, who was yelling at him about how important the letter is and all. "I have never been to school."

In his previous life, his Grandpa had drilled some basics of writing and speaking with his fist of love. Makino helped him mainly though, when Grandpa was not there. And when he set sail it was Robin or Nami who read him the important news, which he should know. It was already hard to read the 'English' letters when he had never learned them properly. In this life, the giraffe and the pig didn't teach him anything. They had talked about sending him to school but had never. Their son who was a pig always teased him and in those musings of his, he had learned to speak and read basic words.

"I don't want to go to school!" Luffy whined.

The owl snorted at him, making Luffy pout. He puffed out his cheeks, and muttered how schools were boring and how he didn't need it, 'cause he is a pirate. And pirates don't go to school! In response, the bird began to flap its wings and shriek shrilly. Thanks to the Voice, Luffy knew the bird was scolding him and telling him how its not his decision, but his guardian's and parents.

"But I don't have any," Luffy protested again. He didn't want to go somewhere where he can't find anyone. Or where he would be deprived of his adventures. Sabo had told him how strict schools were and he never wants to go where he would be chained.

The owl flung itself on him and pecked on his head. The cycle repeated for the rest of the time until Luffy was feeling sleepy. He found himself unable to go anywhere with the bird kept chasing him with the parchment and demanding an answer. He couldn't sleep due to it! He kept on screeching about how he should wake up and sign up for school. It was around midnight when the very tired and sleepy Luffy got fed up with the night concert of the owl.

"I don't have anything to write an answer with." He tried to bargain with the owl but the owl picked up a stick from the born fire which he had set up and threw it at him. Luffy rubbed his eyes and picked up the letter which the owl gave him and using the stick he wrote his answer. The owl pecked on his head one last time as a goodbye and then picked up the letter in his beak. At least he could sleep now. With that thought the young boy curled up and let sleep take him in.

Like every summer, during the last week of July, Minerva McGonagall found herself in her office checking the responses of the freshmen who had received an invitation to Hogwarts this year. This year would be especially busy with the many heirs of the great wizarding family coming from all over Britain to study in Hogwarts.

As expected, all the wizarding families accepted the invitation to Hogwarts. It was obvious. The letter itself was a mere formality. No one ever rejected the idea of joining Hogwarts, except for a few Muggle-born who would be wary of the school at the beginning.

That was what McGonagall thought until she got to the last letter, which had arrived that morning and not the day before like the others. She immediately found that the letter was not in good condition... The envelope was shredded badly- work of a child- keeping the recipient's name a secret, but the address was partially clear. It mentioned the name of some alleyway.

But the main point was no one ever forwarded their letter of acceptance in the same letter as that of the Hogwarts letter. The Hogwarts letters had a symbolic meaning for everyone, especially for the Wizarding parents who kept them as one keeps the first photograph of their child. And how were the parents supposed to buy the things for school, if they sent it back?

She opened the envelope, which was already opened, and was hiding the letter inside. Her lips pursed into a thin line. It was the letter from Harry Potter, who had been sent to live with the only remaining people he had by Dumbledore. But the address did not indicate 4 Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey. According to the letter, the boy was in an alleyway far away from Surrey, if the first two letters 'Ch' shows something. As far as she knows, in England, there is only one state which starts from 'Ch', which is Cheshire in North West England.

Maybe it was just a mistake, she told herself. She highly doubted that the Dursleys would have moved to another town. But she knew it was not a mistake. The Hogwarts quill and its spell had never lied. She took a deep breath to calm herself and proceeded to check the parchment, which was returned. She flipped the letter and found two words written in very messy handwriting. The spelling error and the way it was written indicated it was purely a child's work.

"no, thaks"

Professor McGonagall felt as if she had been punched. What did the Dursleys think? As if they could stop the Boy who lived to go to his world. She took the letter and walked to Albus's office. Denying Harry Potter his right to attend Hogwarts is outrageous.

She reached the gargoyle guarding the principal's office and quickly gave the password (chocolate candies), climbed the stairs and entered the office without much ceremony. Inside she found the headmaster talking to Hagrid.

"Minerva?" The Headmaster called her out, seeing her tense stature.

"Albus, we have received a denial of an invitation to Hogwarts." The effect was instantaneous. The characteristic gleam in the eyes of the Headmaster subdued.

"Who?"

"Harry Potter."

Luffy was playing with the birds which had perched on the rooftop. He had found them when he was jumping from one rooftop to another. Chasing after the birds, jumping from one place to another was fun. It was really needed, after a night with nightmares. Especially when no birds pecked him, but chirped. He was singing Bink's sake when he found himself in front of a brown-striped cat. But he knew it was not a cat, but a lady.

He crouched down to the cat's height and petted the fur.

"What's your name, cat lady?" The cat purred at him and the Voice told him the name of the being in front of him. Maybe she was also a devil fruit user?

"Minva Goni something?" The boy titled his head, while the cat's eyes seemed to have widened. "Aww that's a very long name!" Luffy sulked.

The cat meowed.
"You want me to come down?" The cat nodded her head, making Luffy pout.

"But I don't wanna." He puffed his cheeks in denial. The cat seemed to look angry.

"Fine! Fine!" Luffy said before jumping off the roof, making the cat transform back into a lady, and hurriedly do something to avoid him falling to the ground at a fast speed.

"WOWWWW!!!" Luffy cheered with starry eyes. "SO COOL!!!!!" He went to climb the roof again but was caught by the cat lady before he could do it again.

"Harry Potter!" She said with anger visible in her eyes, but there also was worry?

"But I wanna do it again!!!" Luffy showed his puppy eyes at the lady, making her hesitate until she broke eye contact.

"No!" The cat lady said with a half-stern voice, not losing her grip on him. He was put down on the ground on his two legs. He huffed in denial.

"You are not allowed to do that ever again!" He could tell her she was scared and her heart was beating fast, but why? He tilted his head in confusion.

"Why not?"

"You will die if you do that!" She looked at him sternly when he tried to argue back.

"Fine!" He grumbled. Some fights are worth fighting. He was about to leave when his stomach growled.

"I'm hungry." He muttered under his breath. Then he looked at the cat lady who was looking at him.

"See ya, Cat lady!" He waved at her and left. But he could sense her following him. He shrugged. He didn't mind it. After all, she showed him a cool trick. Maybe she is also hungry.

He quickly found a fruit stall and ignored the lady. He licked his lips and went to the fruit stall and grabbed some fruits, before running off. The cat lady was stunned.

"THIEF!!!"

Professor McGonagall was shocked when she found that Harry Potter was playing on the roof. She just couldn't believe it. He was nothing like what she had thought him to be. The boy was reckless, way too reckless. Except for the green eyes from his mother, the boy had not got anything from his parents. Not even their brownish or blonde hair. He had a jet black hair. He was wearing a faded red shirt and blue shorts. His hair seemed matted and never combed. He had dirt on the visible part of his body and was playing with birds. She took it as a part of the carelessness the Dursleys were showing towards the young Harry. She was pissed.

The boy kept on amusing her and giving her shocks. He was close to her name, but how? He had felt from the first encounter that she was a woman. But the most amazed she was when the boy jumped off the roof without a care of the world and asked her if he could do it again. It was worrying, to say the least. She couldn't help but wonder how the boy is still in one piece? None the less, she needed to deliver the boy in Leaky Cauldron to Hagrid and ask him and the bar owner to keep an eye on him if his recklessness was something to say.

She didn't think that the boy would let her follow. Truth be told, she wanted to see where the boy would go when he is hungry. Where the Dursleys are? She wanted to know why the boy was roaming in the streets looking all dirty and shabby. She wanted to meet the family and ask their permission for taking him to get his school supplies. She didn't get any answer but she saw what she shouldn't have. She saw the boy walking to a fruit stall and running off with some fruits in his hands. She was frozen for a second.

"THIEF!!"

She broke from her inner musings and found the vendor and a couple of men chasing after young Harry to an alley. She didn't have any muggle money otherwise she would have paid for the fruits, so she did one thing that she could do in the situation. She transformed into a cat and ran after the boy. After a few turns in the alley, she found the boy cornered by the vendors. She was about to help the boy when she saw the boy fit all the fruits in his pocket and smile widely. And then the boy jumped off the wall which was blocking his exit. Making the pursuers leave him alone. McGonagall had never seen something like that. But the boy was fast.

She went after the boy and saw him leaning against a wall and picking the fruits out of his pocket. He looked at her and tilted his head in confusion and then looked at his fruits and then pouted. "I'm not giving any fruit to you!" He puffed his cheeks, but sighed soon. "But you can have one!" He offered her one apple but she declined, making the boy give a wide smile. She really felt a headache was coming in.

"Did you know what you did?" She asked in a stern voice. She needed to teach the boy that what he had done was unacceptable. The boy tilted his head again, and this time it looked as if he would break his neck if he did more.

"I got food!" The boy stated as if it was a fact.

"You stole, Harry Potter!" The boy blinked his eyes and turned around.

"What's the big deal? And who is Hatty Por?" She wasn't more amazed in the stealing part any more than hearing the way the boy butchered his own name. But one thing was clear the boy didn't know his name even.

"It's you." She said. She needed patience against this boy if she could have a chance to bring the boy to Hogwarts. "And stealing is bad."

"Me?" The boy said with his mouth full and she hid the disapproval in her face perfectly. "But I'm Monkey D. Luffy!" The boy ignored the stealing part completely.

That was a shock. Didn't the Dursleys at least tell Harry his own name? Where are they?

"Sorry, but your name is Harry Potter." She insisted, but the boy puffed his cheeks in denial. "And I'm Professor McGonagall from Hogwarts." She said before the boy could retort.

"Hogtart?" The way the boy scandalized the school's name was ticking her off. But she could sense the pure confusion in the boy's tone. The boy didn't mean it, she could feel it.

"How about we talk, Mr. Potter, over dinner?" As if a switch was turned on, the boy grinned widely, which was practically impossible. She accounted all these to the accidental magic of the boy.

"Food!" The cheered with his hands puffed out in the air and she couldn't help but let a smile slip from her face.

"Yes, food!" She said crouching down to the boy and bringing up her wand. She flicked it and muttered a spell, making the boy all dirt free and clean. The boy looked at her with starry and wide eyes, jumping in his place.

"That was so cool!!!" She smiled at the boy and ruffled his now clean hair, which still had locks. His hair was perfectly hiding the lightning bolt scar from the world to see. But she couldn't help but notice that Harry Potter was way too skinny and short than what an average 11-year-old should have been.

"Hold my hand." She said, making the young boy hold her. "The first time is always difficult but you will be fine." The boy was looking at her with those eyes that she was finding harder and harder to resist. She held the boy and lifted him and then apparated to Leaky Cauldron.

She was expecting, Young Potter to throw up the food which he had eaten a while ago due to his first time being apparated. But no! The boy jumped off her arms and yelled a 'so cool', before going over to the bar stool and banging his hands and asking for meat.

Her lips formed into a thin smile at the boy as she went to sit next to him. Hagrid won't be coming before evening. So, she decided to have some food too. But her appetite died when she saw the young boy inhale boy in tremendous speed. It was disgusting, to say the least. Even the bar owner and the people in the bar were staring at him with wide eyes.

"More!!" The boy exclaimed and it continued on. He devoured food worth ten people easily. She was shocked again when she saw the boy's middle part slowly expanding as if he was a nine months pregnant woman. But no one else could see that, due to them sitting in front. And when the boy had eaten his fill he patted his stomach and jumped up. His stomach regained the skinny tone again. She was shocked completely. How was this possible? Was it his magic? If it was then it was... unique.

"Good lord," said the bartender, peering at the now sleepy-looking boy, who had stopped eating and was about to run away. "Is this- Can this be-?"

The Leaky Cauldron which had fallen silent, grew more silent. Even people seemed to have stopped breathing.

"Cat Lady~!" The boy was slurring, with his eyes dropping. "Thank you for the food!" The boy slurred, dropping his head beside his stack of empty plates.

It was after a long time that Luffy had been actually full. The sudden drowsiness with so much food came to bite him back. He needed to sleep and something told him not all people in this bar are good. After all, the bar wasn't Makino's. It was not Foosha.

He was happy that the cat lady had offered him food. But now he really wanted to sleep. He looked at the cat lady and his instincts told him he could trust her. He wanted to sleep badly. He felt the cat lady pick him up taking him to a room. The bar owner followed them. She gently placed him on a soft bed.

"Makino..." Luffy muttered as his body came in contact with the bed. Soon he was lost in the world of sleep. He didn't know what happened after that, but the cat lady was nowhere to be found when he woke up. He shrugged. He got up from the bed and looked at the room for the first time. It was a nice room and was spacious. He spread his senses and found the cat lady near him. Maybe she will get him food again. She was good and he liked him! Maybe she will join his crew. Well, he could ask.

He rushed downstairs when the smell of food hit his nose. He found the cat lady on a stool drinking something.

"MEAT!" He asked as he plopped himself on the stool on which he was sitting the last day. Some people groaned at his loud voice, but he didn't care.

He was soon served food and after eating his fill, he was led to the same room where he was sleeping. He pouted. He wanted to explore! There was something in this place that was awesome and called for adventure and he wants to find out!

"So can we, now, talk about business, Mr. Potter?" He tilted his head in confusion. He remembered Nami and Robin doing business, but he neither have any money with him nor he was smart like Nami or Robin. How will he play this business game?

"When I find Nami, she would do the business." He responded which seemed to annoy the nice cat lady.

"Do you want to learn what I did?" She asked taking out her stick from her cloak, which he had seen his Dad wearing in his previous life. But it was different in many aspects.

"YOSH!" He said. He wants to do the cool things which the cat lady did.

"Then you need to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." The lady said and he crunched his face. He remembered having a stupid conversation with a stupid owl regarding it.

"But I don't wanna!" He said puffing out his cheeks.

"Why don't you want to go?" The cat lady asked him nicely, making him remember Makino, when she was trying to explain things to him. She was gentle, but she didn't smile so much. But he would change that!

"Schools are boring!" He brought out his tongue in disgust at the mere thought of being confined to a place.

"Even if it teaches you how to do this?" She flicked her wand and muttered something and the bed on which he was sitting started rising up!

"SO COOL!!!!" He jumped on his feet and looked at the lady. It was really cool! But was it worth going to school for learning it? He doesn't know. But something was telling him that, that is the place where he will find someone from the past. Maybe taking this opportunity is not that bad?His face was turning pink and steam started coming out of it when the Professor's abrupt cough brought him back to where he was currently.

"Ok!" He chirped and the lady seemed to be way more relaxed now. He doesn't know why.

"Hagrid, the Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts would be accompanying you in getting your school material." Luffy didn't understand much but nodded. "He will help you get your money from Gringotts and then by the next week you are supposed to be in Hogwarts Express, via King Cross Station."

She explained to the boy how he would be staying in this room for a week before going to Hogwarts. She was quick to know that if she wanted the little boy to listen to her she needs to bribe him with food. She promised him that he could eat as much as he wants at the expense of Hogwarts if he promised to behave himself and learn to respond to his name. She mentally hoped that Hogwarts wouldn't be bankrupted in a week, with the amount of food the boy would consume.

Luffy blinked at the cat lady, not understanding anything she was speaking, except that he would get to eat as much as he wants, and maybe she noticed it if her tightly pursed lips were something to be said.

"Hagrid!" She called someone. Within seconds, a half-giant man, the size of Whitebeard squeezed his way through the door of the room.

"AWESOME!!!!" Luffy's eyes sparkled at the man and he jumped off the bed, making Cat Lady do something and scold him. But he didn't care. He went straight to the giant and tugged his pants as he was looking at Cat Lady and the bed which was still hovering above the ground with wide eyes.

"Giant-ossan!" The man looked down at him and Luffy felt small. For an infinite number of times in his two lives he cursed the fact that his fruit doesn't let him grow a lot. But he won't bargain his fruit ever for anything!

"Hello, 'arry!" The man said confusing Luffy but he shrugged it off. "Las' time I saw you, you was only a baby. Yeh look a lot like yet dad, but yeh've got mom's eyes."

"Mister, you are super tall!" Luffy exclaimed ignoring the man's comments completely. His remark made the half-giant blush.

"Yeh flatter me! But it's not good to be too tall." The stars that shone in the eyes of the small pirate died and he became serious.

"Being tall is a chance. It's more convenient to protect those who are dear to us. A longer reach means a greater advantage. Besides, there is no advantage or disadvantage, it all depends on how you use it!" Hagrid turned a good shade of beetroot.

"Ahem ahem!" Cat Lady brought their attention to her. "I shall take my leave now. I hope you will take care of Mr. Potter, Hagrid?" Hagrid nodded.
