“Dude! What the fuck?” A sight to see for the Avatar; a hole.
Korra fell into a fucking hole in the ground. Her ankles gave away to the blow of weight and hurt like hell. Wasted and mad as could be wasn’t an outcome the intoxicated earth-bender expected.
His smile dropped as a floating figure of rage emerged from the 6-foot-deep mistake of a lifetime.
Everyone in the room watched silently as music shook paintings on the walls. The anticipation of what would happen next filled the atmosphere faster than the shot glasses pressed against their fingertips.
As the Avatar fixated on the "Zuko signature" she was about to give, Asami, her girlfriend of several months, came to his rescue. She stood in front of him with a horrified expression.
One that instantly gave Korra a reality check of what she was about to do. She winced as her feet settled back on the ground, the pain still lingering at the weight of standing.
Asami ran up and hugged Korra, still everyone watching. “Get me out of here.” The tone of her voice was unlike Korra’s usual pitch towards Asami, understandably, she pulled away and gave her a look.
Her girlfriend sighed, “I told the boys I’d help them clean the venue baby. Are you okay?”
Korra rested her forehead on Asami’s shoulder, “I’m so fucking mad.” At a whisper Asami barely heard.
At this point the crowd payed little attention to the avatar, the hit song of the week came on and dancing was the most of their worries. That and the gaping hole left in the floor to avoid.
A slender hand rubbed the back of Korra’s neck. “Look I’ll wait with you to get a cab, after we’re done I’m coming over. Okay? Thats okay yeah?”
Asami always had a way with getting Korra to soften up over her assurance voice. The Avatar lifted up her head and kissed her girlfriend, “mk.”
Asami smiled and let go of korra’s waist, “Go outside I’ll be behind you!”
She walked over to the jockey who forgot the consequences of his actions and punched the shit out of his intestines, but Korra had already left the room. “Fix that shit. Now. You dumbass.” Her seriousness directed towards the hole.
“Mmhgh..Oka, I’m real sorry man,” He said as he got up from landing on his ass. The earth-bender filled up his creation and the party flooded the space.
Asami left the crowd and opened the front door to Korra sitting on the last porch steps. She straightened up and turned around hearing Asami close the door behind her. “Hey baby, I hope you aren’t mad at me.”
She walked down and slid her hands under her skirt before siting. “Baby?”
Korra shook her head, “Course not.”
“Well I did get the floor back to normal..and a side of revenge.” Her pearly whites glistening at Korra.
“You rocked his shit?”
“I rocked his shit.”
They both burst out laughing. Korra slouched over with her hands covering her face. She peaked at Asami by moving her fingers. Asami, still laughing, moved one of Korra’s hand and kissed her. “Did you already call for a cab?”
Korra nodded yes. “It’ll be here in 5 minutes, 4 minutes ago.”
“Okay good. Do you want me to just bail? I will.”
She still had her hand on Korra’s.
“Nah go back inside Sami. Love you,” She returned Asamis kiss and squeezed her thigh. “I’ll be fine babe.”
Asami sighed, “I wished you’d have said yes. Tease.” She flicked Korra’s forehead and kissed the same spot. “See you later Korra.” Her girlfriend walked back up the steps.
Just as Asami went in, a honk alerted Korra from the curb. The yellow car let down it’s window and the driver called out, “Yo! You Korra?”
She put her head in her knees and rested her hands on top of her head. “Fuck.” Korra knew getting up would remind her of how angry she still was. Under different circumstances she would’ve let go, but the Acid Blast mix of alcohol had her all kinds of fucked up.
Stumbling over her own feet she managed to get up just fine. Walking was the breaking point, “Ouch.”
“Hurry up girl, don’t got all night for your drunk ass!”
Korra ignored the remark and pulled the door handle after finally making it.
“Yo Avatar! Hold up.” Kuvira jogged down the steps next to Korra, “Let me catch this ride with you?”
“Wait a minute, you’re The Avatar?” The drivers eyes widened as he spoke towards Korra.
“Yes Bitch. Unlock the door.” Korra yanked it open and hopped inside. Kuvira followed next to her without a confirmation.
“Damn you that pissed? Jody is an idiot,” Kuvira threw her head back and cackled.
“No, my driver is rude,” Korra copied the mannerisms of Kuvira, “and I’m still fucking pissed.”
“He did send your ass to hell,” Kuvira replied. “The shit was hilarious, can’t lie.” Kuvira nudged korra’s legs with her own.
“What if I just blew the car up right now.”
“Whoa whoa! Calm the fuck down back there!” The eves dropping driver started to accelerate, wanting the angry girl out of the cab; he knew exactly what she was capable of.
Kuvira held in a giggle that slipped in response to the driver. She leaned onto the driver’s seat and positioned her head next to the headrest.
“Don’t worry about it, she wouldn’t.”
