Chapter 9
It's been a week since Regulus and James have been together and James has to say the least been a bit scared that Regulus will leave and cheat on him like Evans did.
Regulus has hugged him, kissed him,and has slept with him a few times. (Not in that way) And James appreciated it a whole lot, and he loves Regulus, he's just scared to actually love him but he needs to get used to it because he doesn't know the promise that Regulus made with the others and himself, he will be there through thick and thin no matter what and James needs to realize that and Regulus will be there so he better get used to him being there 24/7.
James and Regulus were outside, sitting on the dead grass, just talking about life.
James had his head on Regulus lap as Regulus carded his fingers through his hair softly as James talked about how much he loved sunflowers and roses. God Regulus hit the jackpot for sure and he will forever be grateful for the person that God gave him. His sweet, beautiful boy. His special boy. His sunshine, His sunflower. His everything
"Ya know.." Regulus started, making James looking at him curiously. "You look like a sunflower" Regulus said. James went red and hid his face in Regulus stomach in embarrassment. Regulus chuckled softly as he ruffled James hair. As soon as James was done being embarrassed he looked up at Regulus with the most beautiful eyes he's ever seen. His beautiful brown eyes shine in the sun.
"Your so beautiful, you know that" Regulus shared softly. James' smile grew as his face got a pink tint to it. "No actually, I didn't know that" James replied softly, looking into Regulus' grey eyes.
"Well then, I'll just tell you everyday until you know you're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen" Regulus said with a very soft smile.
James was starstruck, he looked like nobody has ever said that to him because maybe they didn't and he's just hearing about him being the most beautiful thing Regulus has ever seen.
James blinked back the tears in his eyes has he hugged Regulus' waist. "I love you so much" James whispered to Regulus. "I love you too sunshine" Regulus replied. James nearly melted at the nickname but he didn't want to until he's by himself but he didn't want to be by himself, he wanted to be with Regulus, alone all the time and thankfully the marauders know about the relationship and approve he was scared they wouldn't but Remus and Sirius are dating so he kinda knew they wouldn't care he was guy but it was the person he was afraid of telling it was Regulus but they thankfully accepted him.
"Call me that again" James asked softly. "What? Sunshine?" Regulus asked softly with a small chuckle. "Yes, please?" James asked softly looking very tired as he closed his eyes. "Ok sunshine" Regulus said as James smiled sleepily. Regulus continued to run his fingers through James' hair as James started to fall asleep and soon his breathing evened out.
"Sleep well sunshine" Regulus whispered.
