Moonlit Reunion
Summary
After months of silence since Sirius's escape from Azkaban, he seeks out Remus in the dead of night to reconcile, leading to an unexpected and passionate reunion.

The full moon bathed Remus Lupin's room in a silvery glow, casting shadows that danced across the walls. He was sitting on his bed, a book in hand, but his mind wandered elsewhere. Memories of happier times with Sirius Black before everything fell apart haunted him. The war had taken its toll on everyone, but the absence of his ex-fiancé hurt the most.

Suddenly, a creak echoed through the room as the door slowly opened. Startled, Remus looked up to see Sirius standing there, his eyes full of regret and longing.

"Sirius?" Remus whispered, setting the book aside.

"Remus," Sirius replied softly, his voice filled with a mix of pain and hope. "May I come in?"

Remus nodded, unable to form the words he wanted to say. He watched as Sirius stepped into the room, closing the door behind him.

"I know I don't deserve forgiveness," Sirius began, his eyes never leaving Remus's. "I never should have put you through all of this."

Remus felt his heart aching as he saw the vulnerability in Sirius's eyes. "You broke out of Azkaban," he said, his voice trembling. "And you didn't even think to contact me, to let me know you were alive."

Sirius approached, kneeling in front of the bed, their eyes now level. "I thought you would be better off without me," he admitted. "I wanted to keep you safe."

"I would have been safer with you," Remus replied, tears glistening in his eyes. "You were my partner, Sirius, and when you were gone, it felt like a part of me was missing."

Sirius reached out, gently wiping away a tear from Remus's cheek. "I'm so sorry, Moony," he whispered. "I've missed you every single day."

The emotions swirling between them were overwhelming, and without thinking, Remus leaned forward and kissed Sirius. It was hesitant at first, but soon their lips moved with a desperate need to reconnect, to feel close once more.

"I've missed this," Sirius murmured between kisses, his hands tenderly caressing Remus's face.

"Me too," Remus breathed, his heart pounding in his chest.

As the moonlight continued to bathe them in its silvery glow, clothes were discarded, and their bodies found solace in each other's warmth. Their movements were gentle and passionate, each touch and kiss communicating the love and longing they had suppressed for far too long.

The room filled with gasps and moans, the sound of their love reverberating through the night. They held each other close, cherishing the stolen moments of intimacy that had been denied to them for so long.
When the night finally gave way to dawn, Remus and Sirius lay intertwined, their breaths slowly returning to a steady rhythm.

"Can we start again?" Sirius asked softly, tracing circles on Remus's chest.

Remus looked at him, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Yes, Sirius," he replied. "We can try."

And so, with the first light of morning, they found a new beginning—an opportunity to rebuild what was lost and to find comfort in the warmth of each other's love. As the Order of the Phoenix fought on, Remus and Sirius held onto the fragile hope that their shared bond could endure the trials ahead.
