Ginny can't help it, she loves to take pictures of her best friend. Luna. She just loves the way the light bounces off her face, making it seem like she's the moon in a dark sky lighting a path once hidden.
So she takes little glimpses of her life; of course in secret. When Luna eats ice cream, when she smiles, when she laughs, when she looks into the distance. Ginny can't help but take a little photo, wishing that the moment would never pass.
Ginny has been like this for a while, she never quite understood why. But when the time arises, Ginny is never too far away with her camera.
And sometimes she gets caught, trying to capture that moment of peaceful bliss. Her heart stops in her chest worried that, maybe today is the day that Luna will say "stop it". But every single time without fail, Luna will giggle and pose trying to give her best angle.
It never fails to make Ginny's heart flutter, and that's when she knows that at the end of the day. Luna knows her and understands, that's the way she shows her love. Taking random seemingly forgettable moments and making them into something that they both cherish. Something beautiful.
It's never unwanted either. Luna wants it. She loves, she craves, and she'll wait for Ginny's affections. After all, she loves posing and a willing photographer is always on her side.
