The fear on Sirius Black’s face was one of surprise to the other students in the class. He was facing himself but in a Slytherin tie, more neat than Sirius himself. His classmates didn’t understand at first. But as the boggart unbuttoned the sleeve of it’s dress shirt, everyone started to understand why there was fear on Sirius’s face and his wand hand was shaking.

“Mr.Black, use the spell, you know the spell.” The professor spoke, ready to intervene if needed.

The boggart smirked. “Yeah, you know the spell. Get rid of me, Sirius.” He smirked.

Sirius squeezed his eyes shut as he caught a glimpse of the black mark on the boggarts left arm. “R-Riddikulus!” The boggart laughed and got closer to Sirius.

“You have to mean it. Or do you need a reminder of the pain to actually complete the spell. Mother always said pain worked the best.”

Sirius’s breath hitched and he raised his wand quickly. “Riddikulus!” And for everyone, it changed to something funny, non-threatening. But Sirius stared at the mirror. He saw himself but in the green and silver tie and the mark on his left arm. His reflection smirked at him.

“Sirius…” Regulus spoke, approaching his brother, who seemed frozen in front of everyone. “Come on. I got you.” He spoke softly, pulling Sirius into his arms. No one ever saw the brothers be so soft with each other. Seeing the way Regulus pulled Sirius into his arms and held him, muttering that everything would be okay surprised most. Because Regulus knew why Sirius was so scared.

Sirius cried into Regulus’s chest, clinging to Regulus like his life depended on it. He heard Regulus muttering in French, soft words of love and comfort. Sirius buried his face in Regulus’s chest, trying to ignore the fear growing inside of him.

I got you, Sirius…” Regulus mumbled, rubbing Sirius’s back, blocking out the rest of the class. “I’ve got you.”
