Missions end
Haku grunted as she felt a shift in the snow drifting around and felt that she was no longer in control, cracks began forming up and down the encased Harry. She stared stunned as the ice shattered and all the shards began swirling around him, "impossible...I thought I was the last."
Harry's multicolored gaze found hers and all of a sudden vines began growing at her feet and wrapping around her, though they were different than before because for the first time, she could feel cold, it was radiating off of them.

Zabuza stared, stunned as frost began building up and the snow began pouring down harder, "impossible....Haku was the last one. We checked."
Kakashi, Hinata, and Hanabi were all observing with their Dojutsu in surprise. None had expected the young Senju to awaken a second Kekkai Genkai and reveal a clue about his father.
Zabuza growled and lifted Kubokiribocho, "This is getting boring." He slashed at Kakashi, who vanished in a puff of smoke and was replaced by a plank of wood.

Hanabi and Hinata were hard at work reviving the unconscious duo, but both were making sure to keep an eye on the two enemy ninjas in case they tried to take potshots at Tazuna.
"This one here Hinata." Hanabi pointed at a spike near the base of Naruto's neck.
Hinata frowned and nodded, seeing the needle disrupting the Chakra flow making it simulate a coma. Taking hold of the needle she gently removed it and Naruto gasped, his eyes flying open as needles began pushing their way out of his body to her astonishment she watched the holes left behind slowly closing with a little smoke left behind.

Sai frowned standing over the dead body of Gato.
He hated that he had to miss out on the action on the bridge, Danzo wanted him to watch the Uchiha as much as possible and report back to him, but Harry had made a point. Even if they protected the bridge builder and finished the bridge, nothing stopped Gato from destroying the thing and regaining control. So he had come looking for the fool early in the morning.
So he fought through the guys' bodyguards and got to the tyrant, who instantly wilted and began begging for his life.
But Sai had been trained his whole life to never let a threat to Konoha live...so he hadn't even blinked as he slit the man's throat.
Swinging his blade he removed the man's head and sealed it into a scroll.
The man had a few bounties on his head anyway, may as well get paid for taking this bastard out.
That thought caused him to pause. He hadn't had an independent thought like that for a while now...perhaps this team thing was changing him.

Harry's senbon clashed with hakus as they both leaped from place to place, launching weapons formed from ice and wood, but one thing became imminently clear.
Harry had an advantage. Haku had fought through Naruto and Sasuke with her ice mirrors, and used several high-level techniques against Harry, who was all but fresh at the start of their fight.
This caused her to frown because he had several chances to beat her but had gone for capture instead.
And always used ice-based attacks that he knew wouldn't hurt her due to her heritage.
Harry smirked as she landed and her eyes widened as a Familiar ball of water formed around her, but a strange plant formed under her feet and wrapped itself around her head...allowing her to breathe, but stopping her from moving.

Zabuza growled in fury as Kakashi blocked Kubokiribocho with a kunai, something that shouldn't be possible since it ate iron to enhance(or repair) itself.
Suddenly he began sinking into the bridge and he stared hatefully at the man who looked vaguely familiar to him.
Kakashi raised his lightning-encased hand, "This is the end Zabuza...goodbye."
Dashing forward his hand pierced through the man's chest, "Lightning Blade!"

Hinata, Hanabi, and Naruto looked a little green as the mist swordsman collapsed with a chuckle, blood leaking out of his body.
"Boy."
Harry held back the wince that always felt the need to rise with that title and turned towards the man who wasn't long for the world.
"You'll take care of her, right? She is your clan."
Harry knelt next to the man and picked his sword up, strapping it to his back.
Perhaps Konoha could figure out how to replicate the weapons' effects. This could cut down on repair costs for the village.
"I never knew my father." Harry said idly, but the thought of either of them did drift by in his head, "but if there is one thing I will always take seriously is family. You won't have to worry about Haku. I will take care of her."
To anyone but him...that may sound weird. He was 11 years old physically, but he was an adult even older than Kakashi mentally.
"Heh...you got balls kid." Zabuza smiled as he collapsed.
Harry sighed and released the jutsu holding Haku.
The Yuuki collapsed and began yanking at the strange plant around her mouth.
"I wouldn't do that." Harry approached her and Jabbed one of her Senbon into the base of the plant, causing it to shriek and unfurl around her, "These babies are my creation. They allow you to breathe safely, even in clouds of poison or underwater...but if you don't get it to release you properly, you'll get a lungful of deadly poison...and only I or my mother can cure it."
He hadn't planned to create a plant that could replicate the effects of a basilisk venom...but this world was a bit more kill or be killed than his old one, and the number of people sent to kidnap him made for great experiments on the effects.
Haku sighed as she knelt next to Zabuza, a tear running down her cheek, leaving a frozen trail behind, "I failed you master..."
"I'd say you succeeded actually." Harry said, cracking his neck, "he wanted you to live your own life...something you can do with us." He held his hand out.
"You would take me in? We were enemies." She frowned.
"You're also family!" Naruto shot up, the only signs of him being injured at all were the holes in his outfit, "and family looks after one another." He finished, repeating what Harry had said to him when he was helping himself to improve and he wondered why he bothered helping him.
"There is that also." Harry nodded thoughtfully, "Besides. We could help each other master our bloodlines. I can barely create stuff out of ice and channel the cold through my vines."
"I am far from a master...I only know a few jutsus of Hyouton. Two of which I invented."
"Then we can either sneak into the hidden mist and steal our birthright back...or create a new one ourselves." He shrugged.
Haku hesitated for a second but took the boy's hand, it would be good to have a place to live where nobody would try to kill her on principle.

Kushina smiled happily and stood, entering into the anbu headquarters she walked right into the office of Danzo.
She didn't trust the guy and had found several things that pointed to the fact that he was the cause of the Uchiha massacre, but he did get results.
"Lady Hokage. To what do I owe the pleasure."
"Team Kakashi and Yammato have sent word, they have eliminated the threat of Zabuza and Gato. In the process unlocking a secondary bloodline in Harry. The Hyouton."
Danzos face remained passive, outside of a single second of his eyes widening, "quite the barrel of potential that boy has."
"I need you to send in a covert team and...liberate any and all scrolls leftover from the Yuuki clan's ruins." She said.
Danzo sat back and pondered his options. He would do it...she was in charge. For now. Perhaps he would have his teams take everything they could. That would be a good profit, and allow for him to better train his Root against what remained of the mist bloodline users.
Plus there was Tsunade to consider as well. That woman would go on a warpath if he didn't do this. When it came to her son... there was nothing she cared for more.
"It will take a few weeks. That village is in a full-blown Civil War right now."
"Yes. I've read the reports. A woman named Mai has risen in the hopes of putting Yagura down."
He had to give the woman this. She was on top of her game.
"It will be done lady Hokage." He bowed his head.
She narrowed her eyes but nodded and left.

"It'll take a few months, or years, but we should have you paid off." Tenzo shook Kakashis hand.
Harry had to smile slightly as he saw Inari not far off directing recourses and helping begin the city's rebuild. His backstory had lit a fire under the kid and instead of using the memory of his father as a martyr...he started using his father's memory as a beacon of hope.
And that had spread. The guy was well-liked.
"Well, we should be getting back then," Yammato said as Kakashi finished the business portion of the mission.
