Platform 9 3/4

"Okay everyone, have your tickets ready! Malachi and Mallory, take your parents through. We will get your carts through." Harry says as they quickly shuffle toward platform 9 3/4.

Before long, all of the group is on the other side of the pillar marked 9 3/4. James and Rose quickly kiss their parents goodbye and run off to catch up to their friends from the previous years. James, a Gryffindor and Rose, a Hufflepuff. However, Albus, Scorpius, Malachi and Mallory stick together as they stare up at the Hogwarts express for the first time as students.

"Dad, I love you, but please don't embarrass me. It's my first year, and I want to make a good impression." Scorpius looks up at his father who is shifting his leather satchel on his shoulder.

"Me? Embarrass you? HA! You should be happy that I will be there with you." Draco leans down to ruffle the young boy's curly blonde locks.

"Mom!" Scorpius fusses quietly.

"Oh, Draco, leave the boy alone. He's just nervous." Crouching down in front of him, Hermione looks Scorpius in the eyes, "Scorp, Regardless of the house you are sorted into, know that we are so proud of you! But just in case it's Slytherin, know that I will love you just the same." She winks at him playfully.

"But then again, if it's Gryffindor or Hufflepuff..." Draco also grins and winks at his young son. "I am just kidding Scorp. I am proud of you and the young man that you are becoming. Make lots of friends. Be sure to keep an eye out for Malachi and Mallory, they probably have no idea what they are about to experience. I love you. Now, I am going to go to the professors car. I will see you at the Welcome Feast." Draco ruffles Scorpius' hair again before walking away to board the train.

"Come on guys, let's see if we can find an empty car for all of us." Scorpius calls over to Albus and the Dursley twins who are all saying goodbye to their respective families.

"Oh, I remember how it felt all those years ago when that was us." Hermione says nostalgically to Ron and Harry. "And now, it's their turn... Hopefully there aren't any trolls in the dungeon this year." Hermione says in reference to their first tryst with danger. Ron and Harry laugh and then Harry pipes up and elbows Ron in the ribs, "Yeah, hopefully no one comes home with troll bogeys adhered to their wands either."

With a loud whistle, Ron and Lavender, Dudley and Alicia, Harry, Ginny and Hermione watch as the Hogwarts Express pulls out of the station.

"Oh, I hope they are going to be okay." Alicia says quietly. Being a squib, she never got to attend Hogwarts, but she was so proud of her twins who were carrying on her family's magical torch.
